Merlin gets captured by mercenaries. One shot. Reveal. Lots of angst and bromance. Really only that. Not even a ton of plot, or bad guys. Just angst, hurt/comfort, and bromance.

After being hurt one too many times by his friends, Merlin decides to distance himself a little from his friends. With a surprise visit from his cousin Gadiena comes a series of events that brings Merlin closer to three new Knights. When King Gorlagon wishes to visit, Merlin discovers his is not the only secret in Camelot anymore. (Follows "A Lesson in Vengeance").

A love story, told at first through a series of letters, and concluding with a ball. (A Merthian slow-burn romance, set at an undisclosed and fictional point in the canon timeline - think Regency era romance with a dash of magic)

Merlin had always disliked the solstices. Something about them was always off to him. Things only get worst the Winter Solstice after Lancelot dies, bringing about revelations for all.

Merlin gets drugged which makes him see some... uncomfortable people. Set post S4.
