A Link to the Past novelization with some liberties to allow for Zelda to have a more active role and to incorporate some elements that hadn't been introduced to the Zelda lore yet back when the game was released.

Zelda has been wondering why Link refuses to look at her. Not in the halls, not during briefings, and not during sex.

A trap was laid before the danger was known, and a minor change to the timeline- a miniscule scar- left a Princess unable to access her divine birthright. As a result, her Champion had to step in at the last moment. Breath of the Wild with Zelda as the main character, her memories completely gone but forced to rise to the challenge of saving her Champion and her Kingdom. Haremish.

The Hero of Legend was returned to his original timeline. It was after the Demon King’s defeat that the roads to time were sealed forever.
