Author Notes: Hey, you guys welcomed back for another chapter of Ben 10 Ga Kill! Here's Chapter 21 I hoped you would like and enjoyed it.
Last time Ben and Night Raid split up and investigate around Kyrouch. Later that night Najenda told Ben and Tatsumi how she had lost her right arm and eye from Esdeath and lost her soldiers. While Leone and Susanoo had finished digging up the tunnel at the cathedral.
Meanwhile, Bolic told Esdeath to guard for two more weeks and she knew that Night Riad was coming.
After everyone had eating their meals, Najenda went over the plans to assassinate Bolic and split into two teams. The first one was Tatsumi, Leone, Susanoo, Gwen, and Najenda. And the second team was Ben, Akame, Sheele, Mine, Lubbock, Chelsea, Kevin and Rook. Later the night of the attack, Night Raid had arrived at the cathedral. While riding on the Air Manta, the infiltrate team was shot down by Run. Unaware to them Wave was watching them. He glads that came because was get revenge for Bols, Seryu and Koro and Kurome's injury.
What's going to happened next? Will Ben and Night Raid take out Bolic? Let's find out now!

Chapter 21: Despair
Ben, Akame, Sheele, Mine, Lubbock, Chelsea, Kevin and Rook were holding on the Air Manta after it was shot down by Run.
''This isn't good!'' yelled Lubbock as the winds whistled sharply past their ears. ''That attack killed the Air Manta! We're gonna crash!''
''I won't let this chance slip by.'' said Run as he flew after them and proceeded to attack them with his feathers.
''And I.'' growled Mine as she pointed Pumpkin in his direction as he flew close. ''won't let this danger slip by!'' She pulled the trigger.
''Urg!'' yelped Run as the beam grazed his side, ripping a hole in his uniform and scorched his skin. ''That Imperial Arms... is far more dangerous than I imagined...'' He slowly fell out of the air since he sustained an injury.
''It just scraped him.'' frowned Mine as she lowered her Imperial Arms. ''Too bad I can't use the cut down shot all the time.'' Turning to the side she noticed some feathers heading straight for her but Akame and Sheele just into action, using Murasame and Extase to cut them all down effortlessly.
''That was an impressive shot, Mine.'' commented Akame, giving her a smile.
''You drove him away.'' added Sheele.
''Humph. Your followed up was nice, too.'' replied Mine.
''Save the chitchat for later!'' shouted Lubbock. ''We'll all die from the crash if we don't something!''
''We should we do?'' asked Chelsea in disbelief.
''Leave that to me!'' responded Ben.
Ben quickly activated the Omnitrix, scrolling through the playlist, selected an icon head and slammed the dial down as a flash of green light engulfed his body.
When the green light died down standing in Ben's place was a large, bulky, reddish-brown alien with rocky skin, a giant mouth with teeth that are also made of rocks and a molten lava plant core at the center of his body. His feet are tan with three toes, and he has three fingers and one thumb on each hand. He wears black shorts with green stripes, a green belt with three white stripes and the Omnitrix symbol on his forehead.
''Gravattack!'' he shouted.
Gravattack held up his hands and used his graviknesis on the Air Manta causing the Danger Beast to slowly fell down.
''What's happening?'' asked Mine.
''Who is this guy?'' asked Lubbock, curiosity.
''That would be Gravattack, a Gallien. He has the ability to control gravity.'' explained Rook.
''In other words, he is using his gravity powers on the Air Manta to gently cause it to slow down in an impact.'' inputted Kevin.
''Nice thinking.'' complimented Akame.
A few seconds, they landed on the ground.
''There, we're safe.'' stated Gravattack. In a flash of green light, he transformed back to Ben.
''Thanks for everything.'' said Akame, looking at the beast with sad eyes.
''You saved us in the end.'' added Mine as she lightly stroked its smooth skin, knowing itself to help them reach their destination.
''You were a big help to us.'' bowed Sheele.
''We fell before we reached out target.'' pointed out Akame as they said farewell to the Danger Beast. ''Let's hurry to the cathedral.''
''I won't let you.'' spoke a voice, causing to them to freeze. They slowly turned around see Wave approached them. ''Your opponent is me.''
''A Jaeger?!'' exclaimed Lubbock as Akame got into position.
''Who's this guy?'' asked Kevin.
''His name is Wave.'' answered Ben.
''You sure are about this?'' asked Sheele.
''Even if you're not out target, the eight of us will show no mercy!'' yelled Mine, holding Pumpkin tightly in hand.
''You're only have choice one, surrender.'' retorted Rook, ready his Proto-Tool.
''Come assassins...'' Wave drew his blade of a minute of silence. ''You even injured Run... I'm not going to lose any more comrades...!'' He glared at them a lot of hatred. ''I won't let you hurt anyone else...!'' He slammed the blade into the ground. ''GRAND CHARIOOT!''
Wave donned on the familiar black armor.
''Take this!'' Mine pointed her Imperial Arms at him and fired. He evaded the bullets with ease, targeting her first since she intimated the battle. However, Akame leaped in, slashing at him with Murasame. The two of them went head-to-head, neither one seemed to be giving the other an opening.
''This armor...'' thought Akame as she tried to land an attack on him only for him to block the strike with his black wing shaped cape. ''It won't let the blade penetrate to the skin... the armor doesn't have... any openings...''
''It doesn't matter how many of you there are!'' roared Wave as he finally got through Akame's defense, slamming his fist into her stomach in a devastating punch and the force sent her flying through a couple of trees.
''Gah!'' she cried, blood flying out of her mouth as her back connected to a tree with a thicker trunk. Slowly she fell to the ground with a thud.
''Akame!'' yelled Ben in concern when she didn't move. Both Sheele and Chelsea went over to check on. Wave slowly towards them but stopped when he realized that he was tied up by some string.
''Alright! Got hi...'' Lubbock looked in horror as Wave easily snapped his threads. Turning around, the armored enemy rushed at him instead. Come on! Get caught by my trap threads!'' Lubbock egged him on, waiting for his chance to attack. However, Wave predicted it and avoided the trap all together.
''I'll destroy evert single one of you!'' He roared as he flew at Lubbock. Quickly the green-haired boy created a giant web made of threads in hopes to block his enemy. ''Grand Fall!'' One kick destroyed the net and sent Lubbock flying back.
''What the hell?'' growled Mine as she attacked, and he avoided the bullets once more by jumping nimbly into the air. ''Was he always this strong!''
''He's like a force of nature...'' frowned Akame as she got to her feet with the help of Sheele and Chelsea, an arm wrapped around her stomach. ''If we don't do something fast, the distraction team will be annihilated...''
''You guys stay back.'' spoke Ben. ''Kevin. Rook let's teach this guy a lesson.''
''Right.'' they replied in unison.
Kevin placed his hand on Grand Chariot. His body was covered in the matter of Grand Chariot.
''Nice armor.'' commented Kevin as he punched Wave.
''What was that?!'' asked Mine, shocked.
''That would be Kevin's ability. He has to power to absorb energy and matter.'' explained Rook.
Wave soon recovered from Kevin's punch. He charged at full speeds.
Inside the cathedral...
''Long time no see, Najenda.'' greeted Esdeath calmly as she looked at her old friend.
The distraction team decided to infiltrate the building when Ben's team didn't show up in time, therefore Najenda had to change the plans a bit.
''Esdeath.'' she addressed.
''So, that's Night Raid...'' thought Bolic as he looked at the group before his eyes slowly drifted to Leone. ''Oho. How seductive...'' he chuckled like a perverted old man when he saw how large her breasts were.
''You went through all the trouble of coming here, so I'll treat you my Imperial Arms!'' informed Esdeath as she drew her sword. ''And let's catch up afterwards, in the torture chamber.''
''I'll pass.'' responded Najenda. ''I don't really wanna talk to you.''
''You're so cold.'' Esdeath feigned a little hurt in her voice before pointing her sword in their direction. ''I even prepared a Trump Card for you.''
''...? I thought that your Imperial Arms, Demon Extract, had no such thing as a Trump Card?'' asked Najenda, looking a bit confused.
''That's right. That's why I invented it on my own.'' explained Esdeath with a smirk. ''Isn't it amazing?''
''Did she just want to brag?'' asked Susanoo.
''A Trump Card isn't something you invent on your own, is it?'' asked Leone equally confused.
''That's just like Esdeath.'' Najenda shook her head with a smirk. ''Breaking limits.''
''But then again, it's a technique that uses a significant amount of energy. I won't use it unless I have.'' said the Ice General calmly. ''I look forward to the fight that forces me to use it.''
''Ben's group still isn't here.'' thought Najenda with concern. ''Then we'll go on offensive and divert Esdeath's attention.''
''Kurome. Focus on guarding him.'' commanded Esdeath without looking behind her. ''We never where their other members will strike from.''
''Roger.'' replied Kurome as she and Natala stood in front of Bolic. ''If it's my sister... she'll definitely do something.'' She frowned, keeping her eyes peeled for Akame.
''I have to be patient.'' thought Tatsumi as he hid behind a pillar, already in his invisible state. ''My role is to strike down Bolic in the midst of the commotion. I have to focus on that!''
''Let's go.'' Esdeath raised her arm and snapped her finger loudly, creating a giant chuck of ice floating above her head. ''Night Raid!''
''Get behind me!'' shouted Susanoo and took the initiative, striking the ice block with strong blows with his weapon.
''Then how about this?'' asked a grinned Esdeath as she fired icicles at her opponent. The hidden blades with the Imperial Arms' weapon popped out and he deflected most of it until two went through the defenses, stabbing his side.
''Oh!'' exclaimed Bolic, leaning forward in his throne. ''Well done!'' However, his voice died in this throat when Susanoo looked bored, his wounds healing on their own thanks to his regenerative power. ''What!?''
''Are you... the Organic Imperial Arms I've read from the reports?'' thought Esdeath before grinning. ''This is getting more interesting by the second! Bring it! Taking the bait, the four rushed at Esdeath together with Susanoo in the lead.
''What reaction speed!'' gasped Leone as Esdeath dodged her kick and stabbed her with her sword. ''She's even faster than a beast...!''
''Oho.'' mused Esdeath as she stepped back, avoiding Najenda's mechanical fist. ''The woman is a human, yet she has such a high recovery rate.'' The wound she dealt Leone was indeed recovering at an astounding rate. ''Must be the Imperial Arm's ability.''
''I was able to move this much closer during that exchange.'' thought Tatsumi as he saw his target in sight. ''After one or two more like that, I'll... strike him down!''
''Where's Ben and his group?'' growled Najenda. ''Are they being held up by the Jaegers that aren't here?''
''I've found some interesting specimen.'' chuckled Esdeath. ''I'll capture you all.'' Slamming her hand on the ground, she caused a torrent of ice to appear, separating the group. Using her speed, she caught up with Najenda in the blink of an eye. ''There are so many things I want to ask you.'' she grinned, aiming a direct attack to the back of the neck, causing the leader of Night Raid to cry out.
''Boss!'' yelled Leone, bouncing ff the wall as Najenda fell to the ground unconscious, her fist pulled back ready to attack. However, Esdeath was ready for her, giving her a solid axe kick to the spine. ''Gwah!'' she yelped, crashing to the ground.
''Freeze...'' whispered Esdeath she laid a hand on Susanoo's face as the Imperial Arms rushed to attack. ''Capture complete.'' She smirked as she encased the Imperial Arms in a block of ice.
''Uh... Ugh...'' groaned Leone, coming to her senses after hitting the floor. Suddenly pain shot her right hand and Esdeath flipped her over, tearing a wound in her hand with her sword.
''Your recovery powers...'' spoke the Ice General calmly as she looked down on her prey. ''... are very interesting. Does the recovery rate differ depending on the part of the body? Let's test it out.''
''What is she preparing to do?'' Leone gazed up in fear as her opponent tightened her grip on the sword. ''Shit!''
''Gouge out on eye. Open a hole in the cheek. Rip the nails off the hand.'' spoke Esdeath mercilessly as she prepared to torture Leone. ''Slice the right breast off. Cut off an arm. Stab the tail as well. Cut off the foot. Chop off the toes.''
''GAAAAAAAAHHHH!'' screamed Lone, her blood pooling around her as she lay defenseless. ''A...aa...a...'' Soon her voice gave out as she finished screaming, her mind going into shock.
''Oho, still alive, huh...'' smirked Esdeath, her prey trembling at her feet before passing out from the intense pain. ''Impressive vitally. Then I'll... keep giving you what should be fatal wounds. Just how long will love...? She raised her sword above her head ready to start hacking again. ''A murderous aura!'' She suddenly leaned back as Tatsumi flew past her.
''Fuck! She dodged my kick!'' He glowed, skidding to a halt.
''As I thought, there was another assassin.'' smirked Esdeath. ''How naive, getting baited by something like this.''
''How can I stay quiet...'' thought Tatsumi, glowing as he got rid of the invisibility and took an attack stance. ''... when is Sis getting mangled by you...?''
''Incursio...!'' addressed Esdeath. ''I've always wanted to try fighting you!''
''So, this is... the overwhelming pressure of the strongest human being in the Empire...'' thought Tatsumi as he watched the dangerous aura surround Esdeath. ''She doesn't have the slightest opening... where do I even being attacking!?''
''Strange...'' thought Esdeath as she looked at Incursio. ''It's difficult for me to attack... no... that's not it. A part of me doesn't want to attack...? There are plenty of openings, though.'' She felt at conflict with herself. ''This is a first... just who is that inside the armor?''
''...Urg...Ugh...'' groaned Najena she finally to her senses, sitting up and shook her head to get the stars out of her eyes. ''How pathetic. Even though it was just for a moment, I allowed myself to be knocked out. Just now, even if I could mentally process what was happening, my body couldn't keep up.'' She looked around, at Susanoo still trapped in ice to Leone's unconscious form. ''It's possible that I've become weaker, but Esdeath has definitely grown stronger. She's even more powerful than she was when I was with the Empire...!'' Getting up on shaky legs, she glared at her foe. ''I'm in one place to keep saving this. I have to use it.'' ''Magatama Manifestation!'' She roared, a yellow aura surrounded er body before flowing forwards Susanno's core.
''Najenda?'' asked Esdeath, feeling the change in the atmosphere. ''What are you doing?''
''We're all alive and... tenacious!'' she answered. ''You shouldn't relax just because you've frozen one of us.'' Immediately the ice prison shattered, and Susanoo surfaced after changing into his Trump Card state. ''Go Susanoo. Bring down Bolic!''
Outisde...
Rook was firing energy shoots from his Proto-Tool at Wave who dodged them. Kevin tried to punched Wave, but he grabbed his fist. But Kevin punched him with his other fist.
''You two really you can defeat me?'' asked Wave.
''We're not trying. We're stalling you.'' answered Kevin with a smug.
''Stalling? For whom?'' questioned Wave in disbelief.
''For me.'' Wave turned to see Ben behind him by activating the Omnitrix. He had selected an icon head, and the core popped up. ''It's about time you learned your lesson.''
Ben slammed the dial down as his body engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in Ben's place was a sasquatch-like alien and appears slimmer and he has a yellow and black fur, along with four grey fingers and toes. He has two bolts on the side of his wrists. He has green eyes and black pupils and yellow lightning bolt-shaped horns. He wears a green and white belt where the Omnitrix symbol is located.
''Shocksquatch!'' he shouted in a Canadian accent.
Wave was stumbled by Ben's transformation for a moment. He changed at Shocksquatch. Before he hit him, electricity starts to build around Shockquatch. He fired an electrical blast at Wave, he gets shocked by the electricity, making his armor more effective.
''Figures that armor could hold a current, looks I put a shock in your system.'' said Shocksquatch.
Soon he stopped firing, Wave recovered from the shock.
''I haven't given up yet, I can still fight.'' stated Wave.
''We'll see about that!'' smirked the Gimlinopitecus.
''Get him, Ben!'' cheered Mine and Sheele who were watching.
''Ben? So, you're Ben Tennyson?'' asked Wave.
''Yeah. You got that right.'' answered Shocksquatch.
''Seryu has told a lot about you. How you nearly killed her and Koro. And killed some of the Imperial Guards.'' Wave told him.
''Yep, but she's gone now.'' replied Shocksquatch.
''So, it was you that killed her and Koro. That means you also kill Dr. Stylish and Bols.'' realized Wave.
''Yeah, I did it.'' answered Shocksquatch.
Technically Ben spear Bols' life so he could be with his family.
''I'm going to kill you and average my falling comrades' deaths!'' declared Wave.
''I'd like to see try, pal.'' smirked Shocksquatch.
Wave tried to punch Shocksquatch but he dodged it. Shocksquatch started throwing punches at Wave.
''I can still you beat.'' said Wave as he fought against him.
''I can see that there, bud but you're gonna winnin thus here fight.'' replied Shocksquatch as he continued to punch Wave.
The Gilmlinopitecus' electrified punches and superior strength was able to bring Wave to his knees. Shocksquatch continued to punch even after that, he knew if he let up now, Wave would be able to adapt his electricity and the fight would continue. Knowing this, Shocksqautch was going to end the fight here so that he could kill Bolic.
''And that should about do it.'' stated Shocksquatch as he slammed both of his fists down on Wave.
Shocksqautch was going to walk away when he heard a noise, he turned around and saw Wave trying to get up again.
''I... I haven't given up yet!'' yelled Wave as he slowly got off the ground.
''I really don't think continuing to fight me is such a good idea.'' Shocksqatch told Wave. ''Since you won't give up so come at me with your best shot.'' he challenged.
''Very well, I'll come to you and show no mercy! What the-!? Again?'' Wave noticed he was bounded by treads.
''Objective complete.'' grinned Lubbock from where he was sitting. ''I've bound your body with my treads and tied you to this tree.''
''Then I'll just break the tread like I did just like last time...'' ''Its not's breaking.'' frowned Wave as he tried to snap them. ''What is this tread...? Its strength is on a completely different level.''
''Realm severed tread. It's my best thread.'' explained Lubbock. ''Go ahead, Akame!'' he shouted, nodding his head to his comrade. Nodding back, she, Mine, Sheele and Chelsea ran their heels.
''Stop!'' yelled Wave but the tread wouldn't budge an inch as he struggled to get free.
''Heh... heh heh...'' laughed Lubbock. ''I was... finally able to do something useful...''
''Tch.'' huffed Wave as he watched the green-haired assassin fall to the ground unconscious.
Near the cathedral...
''There's a lot of noise coming from the cathedral.'' noted a solider.
''Will Lord Bolic be alright? Shoudln't, we go back?'' asked another soldier in slight worry.
''It will be fine if we just leave it to General Esdeath.'' answered one of the soldiers, having full faith in his general.
''We just have to stand guard here and not let anymore enemies thought.'' stated a man with shaggy hair, dark sunglasses and a cigarette in his mouth. ''I can finally use my Imperial Arms for the first time in a while.''
Outside the cathedral...
''Alright! I can move again!'' smiled Wave as he rotated his wrist. Since he couldn't break the treads, he opted to break the tree, lifting the poor thing directly out of the ground roots and all. ''I should be able to catch up if I hurry.'' He broke out into a run, gaining speed with each step. ''I won't let them reach Kurome and the others! There!'' He spotted Akame's fleeing form. ''I'll finish them.''
Wave jumped into the air, preparing to attack.
''Grand Fa...'' He barely finished his sentence when a beam of energy flew across into his line of path, shocking him out of his attack as he prepared to defend. ''She didn't go to the cathedral so could ambush me?!''
''Slow and steady wins the race!'' crowed Mine as she appeared from the bushes with Pumpkin in her hands. ''Besides, you have caught up with us eventually.''
''Wa..'' said Wave when suddenly he was hit by an electric blast. He turned and saw Shocksquatch behind him.
''You know. I'm done here.'' he said.
Suddenly Shocksquatch's whole body began to build up with a strong electrical current. He then made an ape-like shrieking noise before firing a bolt of electricity out of his mouth. The bolt of electricity was so powerful it sends Wave flying into the air.
''WHAAA!'' screamed Wave.
''He probably won't' die because of that armor.'' smirked Mine as she watched him disappear before giving a thumbs up. ''But we've sent him away off course.''
In a flash of green light Shocksquatch transformed back to Ben.
''Well, that's takes care of him.'' he remarked.
''Then let's hurry.'' Akame nodded her head. ''The building shouldn't be too far now.''
With that Ben, Kevin, Rook, Akame, Sheele, Mine, and Chelsea ran towards the cathedral. They looked to see another group of soldiers waiting painterly for them.
''Bingo! It's Night Raid!'' snapped one of the guards as they looked at them with hungry eyes.
''Don't underestimate them because they're boys and girls. Take them down!''
The group readied themselves.
Then the man with the sunglasses and a weapon resting over his shoulders walked up to them.
''My name is Holimaca.'' he introduced himself, blowing smoke from between his teeth because of the cigarette. ''And you kids will be cut down by my scythe! Die!'' No sooner had he said that Akame spurred into action, swinging Murasame to dispatch the lower guards before flying at him. ''Urg... that was close...' he blocked her attack, sweating with nervousness.
''It's not close.'' stated Mine as Akame walked back to them, Murasame over her shoulder.
''What?!'' gasped Homimaca in shock.
''Akame has already cut you down.'' smirked Chelsea.
''It's already over.'' grinned Ben.
''Wha... what...'' he said as weird rune characters exploded along his skin starting from his hands and crawled all the way into his heart. ''Just from a scratch like this...?'' he uttered before dying.
''What just happened?'' asked Rook, curiously.
''Her sword is a one-killed weapon. If someone gets cut from it, they will die in seconds.'' explained Ben.
''He's right.'' agreed Sheele.
''That was cool.'' complimented Kevin.
''Come one, let's go!'' Ben told them.
They resume heading towards the cathedral before Ben grabbed the scythe with hand.
Inside the cathedral...
''My ice...'' said Esdeath with a smile. ''So, this is your Trump Card! And it's impressive that you've activated it from that state.''
''I'm also going in!'' thought Tatsumi as he rushed to help Susanoo as he battled against Esdeath in his new form. The two of them attacked the general together but all of their attacks to her quick instincts and battle experiences.
''Impressive!'' she commented as she avoided Susanoo's kick. ''This is really interesting.'' She ducked as Tatsumi tried to kick her from behind. ''But that won't be enough to defeat me!'' She attacked them both and knocked them back with only one hit.
''Ame no..'' Susanoo planted his foot down as he generated a very long transparent sword from the energy sorted in his magatama. ''Murakumo!'' He roared and swung it with all his might. In response Esdeath created a large ice block made of many layers. The blade sang through the air and slashed it apart with ease. ''So, you guarded yourself by immediately raising tons of ice walls. '' he made his sword disappear.
''I'm impressed by your strength, but it won't reach me.'' she replied as a matter of fact.
''Yeah, it won't.'' he said, accepting that truth. ''But what about the targets behind you? You're having too much fun fighting.''
''Kurome!'' she yelled, turning around to see if Bolic was okay. ''Are you alright?''
''We're all fine!'' responded Kurome from where she was. Sensing danger, Natala grabbed her and Bolic and jumped off the throne. ''Natala!'' she called out as her doll flat on his unable to move.
''I targeted Bolic with the impact just now. But it won't be that easy, huh...' thought Susanoo. ''Although we've weakened his guard.''
''So, I can't even enjoy fighting...''Esdeath gritted her teeth, gripping the tip of her heat as she summoned her ice. ''This is my late time on guard duty.''
''This amount of ice... it's on a different level...'' noticed Susanoo.
''I won't just capture you guys anymore. I'll pulverize you down to the core!'' she yelled, sending her attack straight towards him.
''Experience the greatest attacking power...'' roared Susanoo as he placed his hands together. ''... with your body! Yata no Kagami!'' He used the disk on his back to create a mirror that deflected her ice projectiles.
''Urh!'' growled Esdeath with frustration. ''A reflective technique.'' She narrowed her eyes dangerously. ''An opening!''
''Yasakani no Magatama!'' Surrounding himself with yellow aura, Susanoo increased his speed and strength. He avoided the general all together and aimed straight for Bolic, the main immediately sensed an impending doom and wailed when he saw Susanoo charging at him. ''Got him!''
''Everything freezes before me...'' murmured Esdeath, focusing all her power at the mark on her chest. ''Mahapadma!'' Instantly everything was a standstill, nothing was moving. ''I've frozen time and space. This Trump Card was developed to never let Tatsumi run away again, and to defeat any opponent without fail.'' She walked up to where Susanoo was about to punch Bolic. ''Because of how much energy it takes, this technique can only be used about once a day... but that doesn't really matter now, does it?'' Drawing her sword, she struck the Imperial Arms right through the chest before unfreezing time.
'''Wha...What...'' muttered Susanoo as a part of his core was chipped off.
''Mahapadma is the name of icy hell in a religion...'' explained Esdeath. ''It doesn't match my other technique's names, but it suits it perfectly.''
''Susanoo! Get out of there!'' shouted Najenda as the Imperial Arms startled to ice over.
''I won't let you escape that easily!'' yelled Esdeath and delivered a strong kick, shattering the ice into pieces. ''I commended you for forcing me to use my Trump Card.''
''That's Susanoo's core.'' Najenda watched at the circular object that flew out of the ice fell to the ground. It rolled around a bit before landing flat on its face and shattered into pieces as Esdeath crushed it with her foot.
''You've gathered an impressive group, Najenda. You never cease to amuse me.'' admitted the Ice Geneal as she looked at her defeated foe. ''It saddens me to eliminate an enemy that can stand up to me... but I can't allow you to escape, now that you've become the leader of Nigh Raid.'' Then she looked at the ground as the pieces of Susanoo's core started to move. ''Oho. Its sill moves, even after core was shattered. Your Trump Card is definitely resilient... I will admit that.''
''Susanoo, you...'' Najenda gritted her teeth in frustration. ''Even after you've been reduced to that state...!''
''But it doesn't look it has the power to regenerate.'' mused Esdeath as she watched the lumps of ice trying to mold back together. ''It's over, and with this...There's no left one who can continue fighting.'' Smirking she held out of her hand. ''Let me show you... the way to the torture chamber.''
''Ha...Haha... Hahahaha! As expected from General Esdeath!'' laughed Bolic as he got up after the enemy unable to continue. ''You defeated every last one of them! You rebels have no business trying to kill me! You fools! Scum! How pathetic!''
''It makes me wonder...'' Turning on her heels, she walked to where Incursio lay unmoving. Squatting down, she placed her hand over his mask. ''Well then, let's see who's inside.''
''Now, allow me to...'' Bolic licked his lips gleefully as he made his way to Leone. ''Teach a thing or two about love to that beautiful woman while she is still in her original form...''
''If you move around on your own...'' Kurome started to say before she winced, gripping her neck in pain. ''The wound that woman gave me is still... to think that a single would pain me this much...''
Suddenly the sound of glass breaking reached their ears and they all looked up in surprise as Ben, Akame and Mine jumped right in, serious expressions on their faces.
Kevin, Rook, Sheele and Chelsea were outside holding the guards along with Gwen.
''More assassins now of all times?!'' roared Esdeath as they landed on their feet. Snapping her fingers she attacked them with Hagelsprung, the giant pillar of ice.
Ben activated the Omnitrix and transformed into a plasma-lifeform whose body composed of super-hot plasma body that covered by dark red volcanic rocks.
''Heatblast!''' he shouted in a deep raspy voice.
Heatblast fired a powerful blast of fire that melt the ice.
Noticing the target still lived and he was looming over Leone with his pants almost halfway down his butt, Akame drew Murasame and rushed towards him.
''As if I'd let you!'' Esdeath started to go after her but turned around and dodged as Tatsumi aimed a kick towards her head. ''He regained consciousness...!''
''Even if its's just for 0.1 seconds, I'll hold back Esdeath!'' thought Tatsumi as he blocked a punch from her.
''Eek...A...Akame!'' yelped Bolic, pulled his pants back up and tried to run off but Leone grabbed his leg and held him in place, a sly grin on her face.
''Big Sis!'' cried Kurome, leaping into action in hopes of stopping but Akame was unfazed by her younger sister's call, too occupied when the target needed to be eliminated.
''GYAH!'' shirked Bolic as his throat was slashed open, his blood spilling to the ground when Akame pounced.
''Big Sis...how dare you...!'' shouted Kurome as she rushed towards her, watching Bolic fall to the ground lifelessly. Lifting her head, Akame positioned Murasame in front of her and prepared to block.
''I don't think so!'' Ben who transformed back to human appeared between them.
''Ben!'' cried Akame.
''Ben, huh? So, You're Ben Tennyson?'' asked Kurome.
''Yeah. I am.'' he answered.
''So, the stories are true. You're really real.'' smirked Kurome.
''And you're Akame's sister. Akame has told tell me about you. How you two were to the Empire and tried to kill her for betraying the Empire.'' Ben told her.
''With Yatsufusa, I'm going to add Big Sis to my collection of puppets.'' laughed Kurome, licking the blade with a dark expression. ''We'll be together and maybe...'' She grinned at him. ''I'll add your corpse as well.''
''Kurome...'' said Akame sadly.
''Kurome, hold on.'' Esdeath walked next to her and faced Ben. ''So, you're Ben Tennyson? I am correct?''
''Yes. General Esdeath, I presume?'' asked Ben.
''The one and only.'' she grinned.
''I figure it's about time we meet face to face.'' scowled Ben.
''Though, the mission failed. I'm going to take back with me so you can join my Jaegers.'' concluded Esdeath.
''I'd rather die joining you!'' yelled Ben. ''You and your Jaegers tried to kill my friends.'' Ben activated the Omnitrix. ''Even though you're not the target. I'm going to take you down for hurting my friends!''
Before Ben could selected an alien. Suddenly Esdeath felt a presence behind her, so she looked over her shoulder to see what it was. Susanoo, fully back in his proper state, floated in the air and gazed her. ''It's fully regenerated...? But how?''
''The third...Magatama Manifestation!'' growled Najenda as she gave her life force to hm. ''Frequent, repeated usage is supposed to be impossible... but if I don't do this, we're going to die.'' Suddenly she coughed out blood, the strain on her body was too great. ''With this, I've used up all my life force... I'll leave the rest you. Susanoo...''
''Najenda!'' roared Esdeath in fury. ''Why, you!''
''Jewel of Yasakan!'' Susanoo appeared behind her and slammed his fist against the wall of ice she created for protection at the last minute.
''Hm its power has increased.'' She took notice as he slammed her against the wall, causing shockwaves all around.
''Suu...I can fight now, too...'' said Tatsumi as he walked towards them.
''No. Run away.'' ordered Najenda, getting his attention. ''The mission is complete. Everyone retreats.''
''What?'' he asked her in shock. ''But with Suu's power, we can...!''
''It's just a result of force usage that should have been impossible...'' She told him. ''Susanoo's power hasn't increased all that much. He's only slightly stronger. It's not even nearly enough to kill her...'' She coughed. ''Besides, we've used too much time Energy reinforcements will be here any moment.''
''Roger!'' replied Tatsumi after thinking about it and respected her orders.
Meanwhile Akame was avoiding an attack from Natala. Then Kurome slopped through and went to attack her sister, but Akame dodged her attack.
Suddenly a beam of energy soared through the air, causing them to separate from each other. They looked down to see Mine kneeling on the ground with smoke coming out from Pumpkin. ''Didn't you hear the order? I'll use my Imperial Arms to hold them back while we retreat!''
''...Urg... I can't even kill them in this state...!'' Kurome gritted her teeth in frustration as she knelt next to Natala. ''I don't even have the strength to summon Doya...It's all because of the wound that girl gave me...!'' She was seething with rage, still remembering her encounter with Chelesea.
''Leone!'' cried Tatsumi as he went to Leone who was still immobilized on the ground. ''We're getting out of here!''
''Sorry...'' She smiled apologetically. ''But you can pick up my fingers and stuff...?'' Tatsumi carefully placed her injured body over his shoulder before picking up her pieces like she asked.
''With this, the mission is over. I'll be left behind.'' thought Najenda with a smile as she closed her eyes and sighed. ''But as the architect of this reckless plan, it's what I deserve...''
''There we go.'' said Tatsumi as he lifted her over his unoccupied shoulder.
''Hey! I'm going to die anyway. Go on without me.'' Najenda told him, confused by his actions.
''If you still have the energy to flab your lips with those words, Boss.'' grinned Tatsumi underneath his mask. ''we can't know that for sure!''
The rest of the group joined up with him as Susanoo appeared, apparently kicked back out by Esdeath.
''It seems that you've gotten stronger, but that's not enough.'' stated the Ice General as she stepped into the open from the hole in the wall. ''You won't even be able to scratch me.''
Tatsumi gasped through his mask.
''There really isn't a scratch on her.'' thought Tatsumi. ''How the hell are we supposed to defeat her?''
Suddenly, Ben stepped forward.
''You guys, go. I'll deal with her.'' Ben told them with a serious tone activating his Omnitrix.
''Ben! No!'' begged Tatsumi, Akame, Mine, and Najenda.
''Susanoo. Get them out of here!'' ordered Ben. ''Leave Esdeath to me!''
Susanoo nodded as he grabbed Tatsumi by the cape and grabbed Akame and Mine. Then he flew through the roof. Getting them to safety.
''You won't get away!'' shouted Esdeath. ''Weissschnabel!'' She created several icicles from thin air and fired them at the group with a simple hand gesture.
Ben activated the Omnitrix, selecting a form and the dial down and he was engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in Ben's place was a 6-foot-tall humanoid like alien, his entire body composed of lava with reddish-orange skin, three-fingered hands with claws, toe-toed feet and backward bending knees and a tail with a sharp tip at the end. He had yellow marking covering his body and tail, yellow-blade protrusions on his head in some sort of hairstyle, pupil-less green eyes and a yellow beard. He wore black pants that cut off at his knees, a white belt, black armbraces, and a black shoulder-guard on his left shoulder with the Omnitrix symbol on it.
''Lavaflow!'' he shouted.
Lavaflow engulfed his hands with fire and fired a blast of fire at the icicles that melt down.
''It's appearing that he has many forms.'' thought Esdeath with a smirk.
''I won't let you go after them.'' Lavaflow told her.
''I'm going to take you with me!'' grinned Esdeath.
''Okay, but before that let me ask you a question. Do you know why volcanoes are so mischievous?'' The Ice General looked confused. He grinned as he placed is hands on the ground. ''Because they erupt to no good!''
The entire ground in the cathedral erupted into molten-hot lava, as if a volcano had suddenly erupted in that building. The only spot that was untouched was a small circle around Lavaflow, like an island in an ocean of magma; the Ruptamorph's control keeping the molten liquid from getting near them.
The magma shoots dozens of feet into the air, like a geyser, before splashing down. Esdeath jumped back, though not before some of the lava landed on her. She screamed in pain.
Lavaflow grinned as he stood from the small circle he was in and crossed his arms in front of his chest like an X. He pulled at his Geo-Thermokinetic abilities, and with a bloodthirsty smile, uncrossed his arms.
The lava followed with his motions, shooting up like wave as they quickly splashed over the Ice General. He winced as he heard screams of pain.
Not wanting to drag this out, Lavaflow quickly tapped the Omnitrix symbol on his shoulder. In a flash of green light, he transformed into another alien.
When the green light the green light died down standing in his place was red mollusk-like alien.
''Water Hazard!'' he shouted in an underwater voice.
He aimed his hands at her and fired two blasts of water. The water turned into steam, as it hit the lava, obscuring the ground and cooling the lava into hard rock. Esdeath sighed in relief as she was no longer burring, but that relief turned to dread as she realized that she was trapped, the rock covering her legs. She struggled and yelled as they tried to get out. She kept struggling to get out of the rock until she finally broke out with her ice.
''So, you intend on using yourself as a decoy in order to buy for you comrades to escape. Najenda's subordinates are naive fools.'' replied Esdeath. ''I had fought many Imperial Arms users. But he's different from the other members of Night Raid.''
Water Hazard transformed back to Ben.
''I'm impressive. No one has ever managed to land a move on me before.'' remarked Esdeath.
''You're going down, Esdeath.'' stated Ben.
''Excuse me?'' she wondered.
''I know that you had formed an alliance with my greatest enemies so you could use me to track down, Night Raid. One of the Empire's greatest enemies. Well sorry to disappoint you. I will join you.''
Esdeath smirked. ''It doesn't matter. I'm going to take by force.'' she responded.
Ben knew she meant what she said, and it was that he gave her a message, she wouldn't forget, and he had the right form for the job.
''Okay, I didn't think I had to this, Esdeath but you had no choice! Just to be cleared you asked for this not me!'' warmed Ben.
Ben activated the Omnitrix, selected an alien and slammed the dial as his body engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in Ben's place was a black pterodactyl-like alien with seven green eyes with black pupils. He has four legs with white toes. He has salmon-colored wings attached to his front legs. He wears black shirts and green and white stripes. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Terrosaur!'' he shouted.
Esdeath could only looked at the new transformation in confusion.
'' What is this?'' asked Esdeath. ''A dinosaur, huh? Who is that going to defeat me?''
Terrosaur smirked. ''Something tearful.''
Terrosaur opened his beak and unleashed a breath that appears to be toxic gas. The gas surround Esdeath. Suddenly Esdeath began to see something. Something hissing and deep demonic laughter. At the sight of the terror before her, Esdeath froze as her eyes widened in terror. And something very scary was coming towards her. A scary monster.
''NO NO...AHHHHHH!'' She screamed in terror. She couldn't look away as the monster that she was seeing walked towards her. ''AHHHHH! S-STAY FROM ME!'' She crawled from the thing and started running in fear.
After she was gone. Terrosaur transformed back to Ben in a flash of green light.
Ben laughed. ''I guess whatever she was seeing scared her.'' ''Well, she wasn't the target for the mission. I will finish off next time. I see her. In the meantime, I better go check on the others.''
Ben ran off to catch with the others.
The Forest...
Meanwhile, Lubbock who remained conscious was walking through the forest, but he was still injured from Wave.
''Heh... Heh... Heh...'' laughed Lubbock. ''That jerk... had a poor endgame. He fell for my ultimate technique: Playing Dead!''
Then suddenly, he knelled down on the ground.
''But... L-Like this... it'll be a little time to escape.'' he groaned. He fell down on the ground. Then he heard something from bushes.
And two young people engulfed from the bushes.
The first one was a tall, muscular young man with short, black hair and narrow eyes.
And the second one was a young girl with shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes.
''Are you okay?!'' asked the girl.
''Oh, I met you back with the Four Rakesha case.'' Lubbock recognized them.
''I'm with the Revolutionary Arm's Spy Unit. I'm Patis.'' introduced the girl. ''We're here to provide backup for our comrades' escape.''
''Heh heh. Uh-oh... I think I'm in love...'' thought Lubbock.
The young man picked up the green-haired assassin.
''He, saved, my precious.'' said the young man. ''Of course we're going to help him!''
''Thank you, Litone.'' smiled Patis.
They started running off with the injured Lubbock.
''What a lame punchline, dammit.'' thought Lubbock.
The cathedral...
Back at the cathedral, Esdeath who recover from Terrosaur's hallucinations was having something on her mind.
''I put them through the wringer... but...having failed my job, it was all for nothing. Great...'' muttered Esdeath.
Esdeath then thought of something.
''Incursio... that voice when he yelled.'' she thought. ''Could the person inside... be?''
Then she thinks about a certain Omnitrix Wielder.
''Don't worry. We will meet again, Ben Tennyson. And when we do you will join my side.'' thought Esdeath with a grin.
The next day...
''We can finally say goodbye to this place.'' said Mine as she and Tatsumi gazed out over the city.
''Thankfully, we're all alive.'' replied Tatsumi with his hands in his pockets, looking forlorn. ''This is all because of Ben. We would've been dead if he hasn't used that Terrosaur to scare Esdeath away. After we were flung out of the cathedral, we headed back to the base to rest up. Lubbock joined us after being rescue by two spies from the Revolutionary Army and one of them happened to be a girl that he saved before. After we had rested, Boss announced that we were going do depart and return to our base back near the Captial.''
''Well, we were able to land safety because Pumpkin was able to slow us down.''' stated Mine with a grin. ''You should be thanking me, too.''
''What?!'' protested Tatsumi with a throbbing hand mark on his back from where she hit him. ''My armor helped as well!'' Then something popped into his mind that reminded him that he wanted to ask her something. ''Besides, you wanted to tell something right? What was it?''
...''I'll tell you on the road!'' she answered, getting flustered and her face was red hot. ''Let's go! The horse carriage is waiting!''
''What?"' He gasped as she started to push him. ''You're not making any sense!''
Meanwhile, at the ruins of the city. A group of two archaeologists came to explode the ruins
''This place sure is a mess. I hoped we can find any ancient treasure.'' said an archeologist.
''If these ruins had something like that, we'd get attacked by the guardians of the treasure.'' noted the other archeologist.
Suddenly engulfed from the ruins.
''Like. The ones that pop suddenly?'' asked the first archeologist.
''WAAAHHH! MONSTEEER!'' screamed the other archeologist.
The archeologists ran away.
Engulfing from the destroyed ruins was none than Suzuka.
''Oh Man, I experimented a l live burial... But the Rakasha Demons special body techniques sure come in handy at times like these.'' stated Suzuka.
She smiled.
''And I found a new way to play. That armored boy... not bad.'' she pointed out.
She stands on top of the destroyed ruins.
''His name was Tatsumi? I think that's what Seryu said. I wonder if he's still alive.'' said Suzuka.
Meanwhile, at tents somewhere in outskirts. Ben was activating the Omnitrix to select an alien that could heal the injured Night Raid members' wounds that recent from Wave and Esdeath. After selecting he slammed the dial down as his body engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in his place was a humanoid alien that resembling a bird. He has sharp, yellow claws on each limb and a beak. He wears a gold, black and green armor. He also has glowing, blue wings and tail. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his belt.
''Archeagle!'' he shouted.
Archeagle's hands glowed blue and placed them on Najenda. And in a few seconds, her injuries were healed. Then, he used his healing on Akame, Lubbock, Leone, Mine and finally Tatsumi.
With their injuries all healed up, Archeagle slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed back to Ben in a flash of green light.
''There, all better!'' complimented Ben.
''Thank you, Ben.'' smiled Najenda.
''My wounds are healed.'' said Akame.
''I'm completely healed now.'' smirked Leone.
''I'm healed too.'' smirked Tatsumi.
''Me too.'' grinned Mine.
''I'm feeling better now.'' stated Lubbock.
''You always have a form for the job.'' commented Sheele.
''Well, I got to admit you're amazing.'' added Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Susanoo was smiling, and he was glad that comrades were all healed up.
Gwen, Kevin, and Rook were getting some food for them.
''You're welcome.'' Ben told them.
''I was surprised that went toe-toe with Esdeath and came back alive.'' stated Tatsumi.
''Yeah, she was powerful. I managed to hold her off and scared her away.'' remarked Ben. ''But the next time I see she's going to die.''
The members of Night Raid nodded in agreement. None of them didn't stand against Esdeath. But Ben was powerful to handle her by himself. Ben had fought a lot of people like her all of time and always come on top.
With him on their side, they'd be ready for anything that comes against them.
The Chimeran Hammer...
Albedo was talking to Vilgax.
''Vilgax, your project is complete.'' informed Albedo.
Vilgax smirked evilly.
''Exactly. Soon the Omnitrix will be mine.'' laughed Vilgax.

Ben and Night Raid has successfully killed Bolic.
Ben has stayed and faced against Esdeath instead of Susanoo without killing her. He faced will her again in a later chapter.
