"Tsukauchi nodded to the three other officers as he unlocked Cheshires interrogation room, "alright cheshire, you're being moved to county." he said sternly as the uniformed officers walked in, one on either side, one covering the door as Tsukauchi walks in. walking around the table to uncuff her.
Only her hands came up unrestrained to grab him by the head and flip him over her head and onto the table, kicking the chair out and into the officer on the left as she slipped under the table and slammed into the stunned officer, elbow driving hard into his adams apple, collapsing his throat and sending him to the ground choking as three razor thin needles appeared in her clenched fist. A quick spin sending them stabbing into the officer on the far right.
She was rushing towards the door before he'd even collapsed in a puddle of his own blood, Tsukauchi and the final officer had recovered during her initial attack and both had their guns up and trained towards her. She was fast enough to grab the officer and roughly pull him into the line of fire, forcing Tsukauchi to ease his finger off the trigger as she drove those same needles into the man's shoulder, causing him to scream in pain, "move." She ordered Tsukauchi.
"Shoot this bitch-" The officer snarled, crying out again as she dug the thin bits of metal deeper into the bone.
"Its not polite to call an under aged girl names." She mocked him.
"also not right to torture a man-" Tsukauchi started. Flinching when she dug the needles into the officers bone once more, eliciting another pain filled shriek, "Alright! Alright!" Tsukauchi snapped, slowly moving back, keeping the gun up as she advanced, forcing the officer forward in front of her, keeping her body completely covered by her meat shield, glancing behind her as she stepped into the hallway; no officers and only a few offices, while in front of her Tsukauchi had a small squad of men in SWAT gear aiming their tactical rifles at her meat shield. Each waiting and ready to riddle her with rounds the moment they got a shot.
"there's nowhere left to go!" Tsukauchi called, his gun lowered a bit, but ready to come up, "surrender."
"Not a choice." She growled, pushing the man towards his comrades, leaving the needles in his shoulder as she turned and ran, diving into one of the offices as bullets ripped through the air where she'd just been standing; she rolled to her feet, taking off at a dead sprint for a nearby window, throwing herself through it as the sound of gunfire filled the air once more.
She was gone before they could even reach the window.
"This is Detective Tsukauchi." the grim faced detective Said into his radio as he looked out the fourth story window Cheshire had thrown herself out of. "Cheshire has escaped, priority Alpha for all heroes in the immediate area, I repeat; Cheshire, has escaped."

Inko didn't know what to feel right now.
Her son was near death a few rooms over, having machines breathe for him, the little girl he'd come to love as a daughter would he pressed into his side, tear streaked and refusing to leave finally had to go collect her once the little girl had cried herself to sleep.
She should be in there, she had been in there, and the only reason she wasn't was because of the man across the table from her.
He had gained a bit of weight, she noted, his arms thicker than she remembered, and he'd shaved his curly brown hair at some point, but there was no denying who the man before her was.
"What do you want, Hisashi?" She asked, her face an emotionless mask in the face of her ex husband, he'd been stopped by security when he'd tried to ask for izuku's room; and she'd been called in when he had said he was her ex.
The man hadn't so much as looked at her since she'd walked in, opting to stare at the floor, elbows on his knees and hands clasped together; leg bouncing in nervousness as he finally glanced up, light Green eyes holding a shimmer.
"How is he?"
scoffed, "do you even care?" there was venom now, catching at the end of her words before she could reel herself in.
Hisashi flinched, and Inko felt a small bit of satisfaction when she saw guilt flash through his eyes. "I know I messed up-" he began.
"-that's an understatement."
"-but I am still his father." hisashi said, plowing through her derisive snort; "they called me the first time he got injured and I couldn't get a flight; you ignored my calls-"
"-Of course I did." She said sternly, "Eleven years, Hisashi, eleven years of empty promises and ignoring your son and suddenly you want to play the part of the concerned parent?"
"I have always loved izuku-" Hisashi tried to defend himself.
"Was it love that made you take the job in california?" she asked coldly, making him flinch again, "was it love when you stopped taking his calls when he was seven? Or how about when you only sent postcards for his birthday? Maybe it was love when you sent me divorce papers three years ago."
With each reminder Hisashi seemed to slump. His head bowing once more, "he's my son." He Said weakly.
"No he's not." She growled, standing and turning towards the door, "you barely know him. Guilt brought you here. And I'm not about to alleviate it."
"Inko please-"
"good-bye, Hisashi." she said as she closed the door with a definitive click.
Hisashi let out a short puff of fire breath, frustrated as he ran a hand over his buzzed head.
No matter how many times he tried to tell himself that it wasn't his fault; the stabbing pain through his heart reminded him it very much was.
He'd panicked when he found out his son was quirkless, he'd been working in America for the last few months. And when his wife had called him in tears he'd found a reason to hang up early; without talking to his son, without consoling his wife and gone to a bar.
He'd made many mistakes after that, many of them haunting him currently including not keeping better contact with his ex-family.
With a sigh he stood up and stepped out, the two heroes at the door giving him distrusting glares, "guess i'm not welcome anymore?" He asked dryly.
"Not currently." The hero he recognized as psyche said, nodding to death arms as they flanked his sides and escorted him to the front doors where a mob of paparazzi and news media sat camped, many of them shouting questions as soon as the heroes appeared; pressing against the police line that held them back with outstretched arms and shouts of authority.
"I' breaking the law if I stand outside right?" Hisashi asked, tapping a pack of cigarettes in his pocket; yet another bad decision he'd made over the years.
"Knock yourself out." Psyche Saif pleasantly, walking back into the hospital, Death Arms stepping to the side alley beside him, pulling his own pack out.
"Using this as a reason to keep an eye on me?" He wondered out loud, a small tongue of flame igniting the tip as he settled against the wall, glancing at the paparazzi as they moved off to hound other heroes who were coming and going.
"Nah, it's my break." Death Arms scoffed, lighting his own with a worn zippo, "so, you're Ghost's old man huh?"
"Yep," he sighed, "that's me, deadbeat extraordinaire."
"Made some bad choices huh? I can relate." Death Arms huffed, "ex wife wouldn't let me see my daughter for the first ten years of her life. This is the first year I actually got to see her outside of postcards and photos."
"Yeah…only it's my own fault I haven't seen my son." Hisashi muttered, staring at the cherry of the cigarette, "I don't blame his mother for not letting me see him. Doesn't mean I like it, mind you; But I don't blame her."
Death Arms nodded and they smoked in silence for a little bit, "if you want." Death Arms began as he flicked his cigarette out, "I can let you in after visiting hours, Inko Midoriya will still be on the premises, but the doctors gave her a private room a floor down so she can be close by."
"And why would you do that for me?" He questioned.
"Because I know how bad your son's condition is." Death Arms said seriously, "much as you can blame yourself; I can't, in good conscience, just let you go knowing…"
Hisashi nodded, a lump in his throat: he knew exactly what Death Arms left unsaid, "when's visitation over?"
"A few hours, meet me in the alley around 8, I'll get you in.: with that Death Arms went back inside, and Hisashi past the police line and into the crowd before the media could pester him for information.

Mia snuck into a half-destroyed warehouse, looking about in suspicion before spinning and catching a knife that had been thrown at her head.
"Cheshire." came a sneering, condescending voice from the shadows, "you failed."
"the UA brats were better than I gave them credit for." She said stoically as an aristocratic man walked out, he seemed to have a timeless face, old yet young, his raven hair growing in a high widow's peak, silver streaking through the silky locks. His cold dark eyes looked over her appraisingly as he seemed to circle her.
"You hesitated."
Mia didn't flinch, she didn't betray any emotion, "Deadshot took me by surprise-" she began. Looking down when he chuckled.
"-that's not what I'm talking about, child." He said gently, his voice taking on a more fatherly tone as he approached her, putting a hand on her shoulder; this time she did flinch, making the man smile, "you cannot let your emotions get the better of you, you must be able to let your old life go-"
"-I have." She said strongly.
"Then why didn't you kill the Ghost?" He questioned, and her shoulders slumped, "you had ample opportunity. But you hesitated, and allowed Deadshot to save him."
"He'll die from his injuries."
"How inelegant." He scoffed, his hand falling from her shoulder, he took a step back, "no, the contract remains unfinished, you will finish what you started tonight; you will kill Ghost, and you will recover the asset." He clapped and eight shadowy ninjas appeared around him, one handing him a cheshire mask, "failure means..Stricter, training. do not fail me, Cheshire."
"Yes, exalted one." She said with a bow, taking the mask of the Cheshire cat and donning it once more.

Kenji Yaoyorozu pushed a bulky cart through the front doors of the hospital, police and their own security staff keeping the crowd away from the large Van he'd pulled up in, their chief of security talking with psyche as Momo rushed to keep up with him as he pushed his tools through the hospital.
"Excuse me! What's this about-" a nurse began, stopping in shock as Kenji stepped around his cart, the top shelf platform quietly and cheerfully continuing on as Kenji shot his hand out with a charismatic smile, "Dr. Kenji Yaoyorozu, a pleasure, quite a pleasure ma'am! Glad to be working with you-"
"W-working-" she spluttered, watching in confusion as Momo took over pushing the cart as Kenji stepped in her line of vision, shaking her hand enthusiastically as he put his other Arm Around her shoulder.
"Yes of course! The head of the hospital called me in himself! We can't let this hero stay down after all!" He proclaimed leading her back to the nurses station, "don't worry, he's in good hands and I'll be sure to make sure my assistant keeps track of his vitals for you."
"B-but-but-" the nurse tried as he settled her back into her chair.
"We have it from here, thank you for your service, good night!" And with that, Kenji was gone, back at his sister's side as they entered the elevator, fingers drumming nervously at his side.
"That was smooth." His sister giggled as the door closed before the woman could get out of hee chair.
"Shut up, you don't get to find that funny." He muttered, running a hand through his hair, "you do understand what we're doing is highly illegal, yes?"
"Isn't that where the fun is?" Momo shot back with an eye roll, "how many times did mom and dad have to ease relations with the government again-"
"-you create one nuclear reactor with some shady plutonium and suddenly you're branded a bad guy for life." He muttered as the door dinged open and they pushed onward, "if it hasn't escaped your notice, dearest sister, I haven't been hounded by government agents in nine years; would be ten tomorrow if i wasn't sure we weren't headed for a up after this.:"
"I promise Kenji I will take full responsibility-" she began.
"-that's what you said about mums broken snow globe collection-"
"-Kanji please." Momo groaned in exasperation.
"I'm kidding," he Said lightly, a weird smile starting to creep up on him as his entire mood took another 180, "to be honest I'm a little excited, animal trials are required but completely useless when dealing with things such as this. I can't wait to see what it does."
"...have you taken your meds?" She asked, suddenly a lot more wary as the elevator opened, neither paying attention to Death Arm's confused "hey!" as they pushed past him."
"Of course not, I've been in the lab for three days!" An almost maniacal cackle escaped him as he reached midoriya's door, surprised to find no one there, he kicked it open. And froze when he saw a man sitting by Izuku's bed, misty brown eyes looking up distrustingly.
"What are you doing here?" he demanded to know as he stood up, smoke billowing out of his nostrils, only to be abruptly cut off as Kenji darted forward once more.
"Kenji Yaoyorozu, a pleasure to meet you sir!" he proclaimed, wringing the man's hand enthusiastically, "I was called in to help your son-or who i'm assuming is your son, are you his father?" he questioned as Momo began setting up the things she could.
"I'm his father, yes." The man said carefully, looking between the two with a healthy dose of wariness.
Don't worry, we're here to help him." he declared, rushing to his sisters side as he began attaching IV's and setting up focal points for the required static discharge, "It would help immensely if you gave permission, but this is happening with or without your consent, so I guess you should figure out where your morality lays within the next five minutes; cause my morality is fairly loose.'
"Kenji!" Momo snapped, making the slightly older man grin at her.
"This is your fault for making it an emergency, so deal with my lack of sleep and medication."
"Hold on!" Hisashi snapped, glaring at the two, "What are you doing?"
"We are using a potent physical enhancer, designed to increase strength, speed, brain processing power, and-more importantly here-boost one's natural healing factor. Not much, mind you, but in the initial charge we should be able to get everything healed…or it'll push him over the edge into death's sweet embrace; from a pure, scientific standpoint, I think it's worth the risk!" Kenji explained, grinning at him as he pulled his goggles down from their spot in his air, snapping them into place over his eyes, "however, I'm sure you'd rather give it some thought before we-"
"-i should arrest both of you right now!"
Both Momo and Kenji looked back, suddenly remembering Death Arms, who'd followed them into the room. "This kind of drug is extremely controlled! Using it without permission-"
"-I give permission." Hisashi said almost immediately, making Death arms look at him sharply.
"Excellent!" Kenji cheered as he pulled a metal briefcase from the bottom shelf of the cart, punching in an eighteen digit code; his grin widening when it popped open with a slight hiss, revealing four vials full of blue liquid, as well as four syringes to deliver the precious liquid.
"That's not how this-" Death Arms started, only to be pushed into the room as Kaminari stumbled past him.
"Sorry I'm late!" He babbled as he looked around nervously, "uh…what's with the Frankenstein get up?"
"Never you mind that igor!" Kenji cried as he grabbed the electric user and pulled him over to two metal hand clamps that were connected to each focal point by cables; "just be ready to pump 500,000 Joules into those bad boys in five second intervals for the next fifteen to thirty minutes when I tell you to start, ending in a final big charge of 1.3 million!"
"Hold on!" Kaminari yelped as he dropped the clamps, "what the hell is going on? "
"We are about to put a less than questionable drug into your close to death friend so that we can attempt to bring him back to life through scientific jargon and guesswork, you in?" Kenji demanded seriously, causing everyone to stare at him in surprise.
"...alright." Kaminari said, picking the clamps up, "I just want you to know, my biggest fear in life is killing someone with my electricity."
"I'll pay for your therapy, get ready Igor!" Kenji exclaimed.
Death Arms groaned, "I'm gonna regret this." he grumbled, heading back to the door, "I Guess I'm already complicit in letting Hisashi in here, so might as well go for broke right? If you can save him, great, if not, we'll all be going to jail."
"Glad you have such trust in us." the mad doctor grumbled slightly as Momo looked sharply at Hisashi.
"Why would it be illegal for you to be here?" Momo demanded.
Hisashi grimaced a bit, "I might not…technically be his legal guardian anymore." he grumbled, not meeting anyones eyes, "but he's my son…i wanted to see him…"
Momo narrowed her eyes, "Kenji, make sure everythings ready." she ordered.
"Technically that's your job-"
"Now."
"Righty-o." her brother cheered as he ushered Kaminari to begin checking over his work.
"He's never talked about his father.'
Hisashi cringed at that, refusing to meet Momo's accusatory glare, "I'm guessing you're one of his friends?" he muttered.
"I'm his girlfriend." she said stiffly, "why are you here?"
Hisashi blew out a stressed sigh, "look," he began, holding his hands up in a placating gesture, "I know i've fucked up in life, but he IS my son-"
"-that doesn't matter if you haven't been there for him," she countered in an aggressive whisper, her glowing palm making Hisashi tense as he realized she was using her quirk, "and he hasn't said anything about you-"
"I abandoned him." Hisashi cut her off, making her jump a bit, "and I know, what I did was wrong, but I'm here trying to help now, please, let me try and right some wrongs."
Momo hesitated, she didn't know him, he wasn't someone Izuku had ever spoken about positively even in those few times where he'd mentioned his father-usually pertaining to eri-but meeting the man, seeing the remorse and guilt in such familiar eyes had Momo sighing in exasperation; "I won't make you leave." She said evenly, but you need to give us some room to work."
"I won't get in the way." Hisashi confirmed,.moving back to his chair.
"You know he won't like it that you're here."
He paused, thinking on the matter for a moment before nodding sullenly, "so long as he's alive to tell me that? I don't care." he said, walking out of the room.

Psyche wasn't entirely sure why the Yaoyorozu girl was here, nor why her security detail had taken over the main lobby. But he wasn't one to complain. Especially if his hunch was correct and she was here to help Ghost.
The kid had saved his life, he owed him everything. So whatever the Yaoyorozu girl was doing, he was alright with it so long as it helped the boy.
"You look deep in thought."
Psyche looked over to the head of security of the Yaoyorozu family, a former hero who went the private security route after an almost career ending injury. Ken Takashimi, formerly known as the pro-hero Hydro;he was an older man, his long black hair streaked with silver and tied back in a low ponytail. The tailored suit he wore hid the runner's physique and combat honed muscles. His dark blue eyes were hard, but showed a level of understanding only a fellow hero could see.
"Just thinking about the kid up there, fighting for his life." Psyche sighed, shaking his head, "after everything he's been through…it just isn't fair."
Ken nodded, "I know what you mean." he said, looking at the front doors, "the young Ms. Yaoyorozu has taken quite a shine to him-I myself haven't dealt with him near enough to form an opinion-but if she's willing to go to such lengths to help him, then he must be quite a young man."
"That he is." Psyche chuckled, "first time I met him was in Hosu, he saved my life after we ran into a Nomu; he's a got a bright future and a great career ahead of him if he could just-" he stopped asan explosion rocked the hospital, smoke and fire spewed into the air outside as the crowd of reporters went running.
"Lock down the elevators!" Psyche ordered as Ken stepped forward, some of his men falling in behind him while others took up defensive positions by the stairs and the now locked down elevators.
The windows shattered as several canisters flew through the air, thick gray smoke spewing from their ends before they even hit the ground.
"Ari!" Ken shouted, and a shorter man stepped forward and took a deep breath before exhaling forcefully.
A gale force wind blew all the smoke back out of the hospital, covering the seemingly empty streets in a thick haze.
"Get ready!" Ken growled, throwing his suit jacket off to reveal several canisters of water. With a flick of his wrist two emptied completely, leaving him with whip-like appendages forming on his hands. All around him his men began to activate their quirks; steel hands clenched into fists, spikes sprouting from another's back as steel blades slid out from between the knuckles of a third. Ari was pulling lightweight darts from his pocket, tossing them into the air and letting the wind he controlled carry them about.
Psyche quickly moved to stand with the security detail, Smile man running out from the break room with X-less and Fat Gum, "get the staff somewhere safe!" Fat Gum shouted at the fleeing nurses, cracking his knuckles, "keep them contained to the lobby! Don't let them get to Ghost!"
The smoke whirled as flurry of shuriken came flying in, wind whipped through the air as Ari's quirk diverted them into the walls.
And then several dark figures came charging into the lobby, clad in dark robes and masks and carrying an assortment of sharp weaponry, the assassin's wasted no time in lunging for the heroes, only to be forced to divert as the Yaoyorozu guard attacked. Soon the lobby was full of fighting pairs, steel crashing against steel and fists sinking into flesh as Fatgum protected a crying nurse from the indiscriminate attack of a hulking assassin, "get out of here!" He ordered her as he launched the assassins fist back and sent the man tumbling into the melee, Ken's water whip wrapping around his neck and sending him flying back out of the hospital. X-Less was firing off red beams of energy from his eye, lancing the odd assassin as they grappled with Smile Man and the steel knuckled guard; To his right Psyche was launching rubble and glass at any opening he could, he was forced to roll away as three of the dark clad villains lunged at him, each wielding a different bladed weapon.
The psychic hero used his quirk to divert the Sai of one while ducking the under the swing of a katana from another, he went airborne for a bit, a move he seldom did due to the strain on his mind, but he knew he wouldn't of been able to get out of the way of a metal Kanabo crashing through the concrete otherwise.
He almost let out a cry of relief when a flash of silver streaked past him and the Sai wielder was carried off his feet by metal darts and a harsh gust of wind and Smile Man tackled the Katana wielder off into the sublevel hallway that led into the cafeteria.
"Psyche!" Fat Gum shouted as he jumped in between the hero and the Kanabo, growling when the man reeled his strike in before Fat could absorb it, "Get to Eri! Make sure she's defended! Move her to Midoriya's room if you have to!"
"On it!" Psyche shouted, running towards the stairwell, Takishimi right behind him with the claw-quirked man, "we must protect the young Yaoyorozu siblings."
"Any help is appreciated." he said, using his quirk to lighten his body before he jumped, able to clear a few landings with each jump while Takishimi raised himself and his man up with a platform of water.

Cheshire watched from a shop across the street from the hospital as her advanced guard took the attention of the majority of the security detail; a few extra men who she hadn't been briefed about, but nothing the League of Assassin's couldn't handle.
"You ready?"
Cheshire glanced over at the assassin who spoke, dressed like the rest save for the red tinted goggles he wore, he was gripping the handles of the twin swords on his back, obviously ready for his part in the op.
"Yes, take the rest of the team to the roof, we'll infiltrate from there." she said grimly, fixing her mask as the assassin's disappeared into the night. Her hands shook just a bit, but she forced herself to relax as she pulled out her Sai, "I will complete my mission," she swore, leaping away into the night.
