This is a parody of the episode: Bummer Vacation.

The chapter begins at Reininger's department store where Leni is working with her friend and coworker. Leni and Fiona are busy dressing the mannequins. Then Ms. Carmichael comes over.

Mrs. Carmichael: Fiona! Leni! I have some bad news.

Leni: Why, Ms. Carmichael? What, like, could be wrong on such a fine day?

Ms. Carmichael: Fine?! [puts her two fingers on Leni's lips] Today's not the day for that word. Not after I received this. [pulls out letter] It says here Leni Loud has accumulated too much vacation time. And if you don't take some time off, I'll have to pay a fine.

Leni: Time off?

Ms. Carmichael: Oh, I guess there's no other way to say this. Leni, take a vacation.

Leni: Yes, ma'am!

Just as Leni was about to leave, she stopped.

Leni: Wait! Like, you mean, don't work?! But what do I do until then?

Ms. Carmichael: Whatever you do at your age; have fun, hang with friends or whatever. You just can't be here.

Leni: But who will look after Tanya and handle the inventory? Miguel's sick and Fiona can't do those tasks alone.

Fiona: Actually, I'm more than capable of-

Ms. Carmichael: That's why I've hired a paid intern as your temporary replacement.

Lynn: [holding a pizza] Morning, boss. Ready for my big day.

Ms. Carmichael: Speaking of which, here's your replacement.

Leni: Replacement?

Lynn: Hey, Leni.

Ms. Carmichael: No handling food on work time.

Lynn: Okay, boss. [gives Leni her half-eaten pizza and wipes her hands on her shirt]

Ms. Carmichael: I'll take it from here, Leni. Just go on home. Enjoy your vacation.

Leni: I should, like, really show Lynn the way to fold the clothes and…

Ms. Carmichael pointed to the exit, with Leni walking off in a disappointed slump.

Cut to the fashionista back at home.

Lincoln: Leni, you're home early.

Leni: Yeah. I'm on vacation while Lynn is taking my place as a temporary worker.

Lincoln: Well, you deserve it. You work so hard at your job.

Leni: Thanks. I guess I'll just relax then.

Leni is now in her room reading a fashion magazine, but seeing all the pictures of clothes only reminded her of work. Then she imagines Tanya in one of the pictures.

Tanya: Leni, why did you abandon me, Leni?

Leni: Tanya? I-I didn't mean to! (puts the magazine down) I know I'm on vacation, but I should really check on Tanya.

Cut to Leni going back to Reininger's.

Leni: Hey Fiona, how's everything going?

Fiona: I thought you were on vacation.

Ms. Carmichael: [stops Leni] She was and is. I told you to take a vacation, Leni.

Leni: I just wanted to check on Tanya.

Ms. Carmichael: Tanya is just fine. See? [shows that the mannequin is still the same]

Leni: [sighs in relief] What about Lynn?

Mrs. Carmichael: Lynn is doing just fine. [shows Lynn putting socks and sandals on a mannequin, which shocks Leni] Now out, out, out! [pushes Leni outside] You're not supposed to be at work!

Leni: But…socks with sandals?

Cut to Leni back inside the Loud house.

Lily babbles to Leni.

Leni: I'm on vacation, Lily. I'm not allowed to go to work. [stomach growls and Leni gasps] It's time for my lunch break! Ms. Carmichael said I couldn't work at Reininger's, but she didn't say I couldn't eat there. This is my ticket back inside!

Cut back to Reininger's, where Fiona is on her lunch break, seated at a table with her own lunch. She sees Leni.

Fiona: Leni, as much as I love having you here, you're not supposed to be here.

Leni: I'm not here to see you, Fiona.

Ms. Carmichael: Leni, do we have to go through this again?

Leni: I'm here as a customer not as an employee. Just gonna grab lunch with my little sis.

Ms. Carmichael: Alright, but lunch only. If you so much as touch a mannequin, you'll be spending your vacation in an empty closet.

Leni: You have my word, ma'am. No working. [goes to the table where Lynn is having her pizza lunch] Hey, Lynn, having pizza, I see.

Lynn: Yeah. [swallows her slice] Being a temporary worker is great when you can get free food.

Leni: So, are you handling the job well?

Lynn: You could say that. I did some rearranging with the mannequins.

Leni: You what?! [Leni runs off to check on the mannequins]

Leni: No! This is wrong! [Leni rearranges the mannequins, but only moves them to back slightly]

Ms. Carmichael: [storms over to Leni] Leni! What did I tell you about working?

Leni: Wait, it's not what you think.

Ms. Carmichael: [wheels Leni on a dolly] Out you go, young lady.

Leni: But my knowledge could help Lynn maintain the high standards of Reininger's.

Ms. Carmichael: We've got it all under control here. I don't want to see you back here until your vacation is over. You got that?

Leni: Yes, Ms. Carmichael.

Ms. Carmichael: Well, Leni... [launches Leni off] off ya go! And don't come back 'til it's over.

Cut to Leni entering the Loud house.

Leni: Oh, what to do, what to do. I know just the thing to get the spirits up: the official Reininger's playset! [sits down in front of a toy Reininger's store with Reininger's store figures. Opens it up]

Fiona: [Leni imitating her] Leni, I need a scarf and hat, please.

Leni: Sure thing, Fiona. A scarf and a hat coming up.

Ms. Carmichael: [Leni imitating her] Leni! What are you doing here?! You're gonna cost me some loot if you don't get your butt home! Out, out, out! Until your vacation is over!

[takes Leni's name tag off. Leni walks home, sad]

Leni: [walking inside her home] Oh, what to do on this boring vacation? Hey, I know just the thing to get the ol' spirits up! [plays with a smaller Reininger's playset]

Fiona: [Leni imitating her] I need a hat and a scarf, please.

Lincoln: Sure thing, ol' buddy. A hat and a scarf coming…

Lily babbles to Leni.

Leni: You're right, Lily. It is unhealthy to think about Reininger's while I'm on vacation. I need to get out of the house.

Cut back to Reininger's where Fiona is washing windows until she sees Leni.

Fiona: Uh, Ms. Carmichael, she's out there again.

Ms. Carmichael: I'll deal with this. Leni, you're on Reininger's property. Back it up.

[Leni steps backwards] Further. [steps backwards more] Further. [steps backwards more] Further. [steps backwards more] Further. [steps backwards until she is in front of her house] That'll do.

Cut to Leni at the beach.

Leni: Ms. Carmichael is right. In order to enjoy my vacation, I need to stay away from work. Physically and mentally. [looks and sees a couple of kids making a mermaid out of sand, which Leni imagines as her favorite mannequin, Tanya] Hey, that reminds me of…[shakes her head] Hold it right there, Ms. Workaholic Loud. You're on vacation. You just need to sit down and relax. [sits on her beach chair] That's more like it. Just sit back and watch the clouds. [watches a cloud go by] That one's a smoothie! [another cloud goes by] That's a dollar bill. [another cloud goes by] And that's socks with sandals...whoa! Socks with sandals?

Cut back to Reininger's again where a delivery truck backs up. Leni, in a delivery disguise, walks up to the department store.

Leni: Got you fashion clothing delivery right here.

Another delivery truck backs up. A delivery lady gets out with a delivery of fashionable clothing too.

Delivery lady: Huh? What's the big idea, here?

Leni laughs nervously as Fiona and Ms. Carmichael glare at her, then gets booted out. Cut to Fiona by the mannequins and Leni sneaks in pretending to be a mannequin.

Fiona: Socks with sandals? Not happening. [redresses the mannequin by taking off the socks and leaving just the sandals] That's better.

Leni then gives her a thumbs up, but by doing so she has blown her cover and Fiona notices.

Fiona: Leni!

Leni: [nervously] Uh, what's up?

Leni is kicked out of the store again. Cut to the restroom where Lynn is cleaning out her ear.

Lynn: Huh, I didn't know I had so much wax in there.

Suddenly, Leni runs into the bathroom.

Leni: Gotta pee! Gotta pee! Gotta pee! [heads into a bathroom stall]

Lynn: I wouldn't go in there.

Leni: [disgusted at the mess she sees] Ewwwwwww!

Leni exits the bathroom after using it, but Ms. Carmichael shows up with a disapproving look.

Leni: Gotta go! Gotta go! Gotta go! [runs out of the store]

Cut to Leni going through an vent. Ms. Carmichael is showing a display of jerseys to Lynn.

Ms. Carmichael: And here are the new jerseys from New Jersey.

Lynn: Sweet. [grabs a jersey]

Leni opens up a vent door that leads down below right where Ms. Carmichael is. She is about to come down, then falls screaming, and lands right on her boss. They groan and Ms. Carmichael is fed up with Leni's antics at this point.

Ms. Carmichael: I've had enough for one day, Leni. [drags the blonde teen and puts her in a car, then drives off]

Leni: Thanks for the ride home, boss.

Ms. Carmichael: Not a problem at all, sweetie.

Leni: Just take the next right. [Ms. Carmichael drives past the Loud house] Ms. Carmichael, we just passed the turn off.

Ms. Carmichael: Uh-huh.

Leni: My house is back that way, Ms. C.

Ms. Carmichael: Far out, girl. Far out. [drives into a forest and stops]

Leni: Where'd you say you were taking me?

Ms. Carmichael: [takes Leni's sunglasses] Look girl, I got your sunglasses. [Leni glares at the sunglasses and pants like a dog] C'mon, girl, get it. Get the sunglasses. Go get it! [throws the sunglasses into the forest. Leni chases after it while Ms. Carmichael turns around and drives off] Enjoy your vacation, Leni!

Leni: It's totes not fair. Why would Ms. Carmichael try so hard to get rid of me? I'm only on vacation. Unless it's a... [gasps]...permanent vacation! That's it! Ms. Carmichael wants to replace me. Oh, I should've known! Lynn's had her eye on my job all along! She's been scheming! They think I'm outdated! They think I'm all washed up! Well, I'll show them!

Cut to Lynn riding her bike down the street to her house. She sings a song to herself.

Lynn: Working at Reininger's. Working for the manager. Working for some free pizza...uhh, I can't remember the rest of that song. [enters her house and heads into her room] Huh?

Leni: [sitting in the corner of Lynn and Lucy's room] Who do they think they are? I've given the best years of my life to this place and they think they can just fire me like that? Like trash? I don't think so!

Leni: Leni? You ok?

Leni: [turns around with an evil look on her face] I've been waiting for you, Lynn! [walks towards her sister, growling]

Lynn: Leni, you're freaking me out. Ahh!

Leni laughs maniacally and closes in around Lynn. Cut to Reininger's where Fiona is attending to a customer.

Woman: I'm here to pick up my order of designer jeans.

Fiona: Lynn, I need you to get those designer jeans from the inventory.

Right away, Lynn pushes out a rack with designer jeans, having already gotten them out of the inventory, for Ms. Carmichael to notice.

Ms. Carmichael: Well, I'll be...Lynn! Looks like you've improved with the job one-thousand-fold. Congratulations, kid, you've finally got the hang of it. [Lynn turns around, and it turns out to be Leni disguised as Lynn] Leni? No wonder. Lynn could never be that prepared for an order of clothes. What happened to your sister, anyway?

Leni: Oh, I told her to stay home and watch television.

Lynn is sitting at home watching a sports game on TV and eating pizza.

Ms. Carmichael: Why'd you do it, Leni?

Leni: [starts to cry] Oh, Ms. Carmichael, I love fashion, the smell of perfume, and Tanya so much, I just couldn't stay away!

Ms. Carmichael: You don't have to. [takes out a calendar] Your accumulated vacation time is used up. [tears up calendar] The union can't fine me anymore.

Leni: You must've saved a fortune.

Ms. Carmichael: You bet I did. [laughs and holds up a ten-dollar bill] There she is.

Leni: Ten bucks? That's it?

Ms. Carmichael: I need to save up to pay my rent. And since you've been working so hard. you deserve a raise.

Leni: Aw, I'd appreciate that.

Ms. Carmichael: Alright, now get back to work.

Leni: [rips off the Lynn costume, now back in her usual attire and puts on her nametag] Yippee! I happily acquiesce.
