Mondstadt buzzed with excitement as its citizens prepared for a grand Thanksgiving festival. Decorations of autumn leaves, pumpkins, and banners adorned the city streets, while the aroma of freshly baked pies wafted through the air. At the heart of it all, Jean stood on a makeshift podium in front of the Favonius Headquarters, addressing the gathered crowd.

"Citizens of Mondstadt," she declared, her voice carrying above the chatter. "This year's Thanksgiving festival is a time to celebrate our unity, give thanks for our blessings, and, of course, enjoy a bountiful feast." A cheer erupted, but Jean held up a hand. "However, there's one small matter. Our festival's main dish is yet to be secured—a turkey!"

This announcement was met with confused murmurs.

"I thought turkeys were only a legend in Teyvat," Venti whispered to Diluc, strumming his lyre absentmindedly.

Diluc scoffed. "Legends or not, leave it to the Acting Grand Master to turn it into an urgent quest."

Jean smiled reassuringly. "Fear not! The task has already been entrusted to our capable Traveler and his companion, Paimon."

The crowd clapped enthusiastically as Aether scratched the back of his head, looking awkward under the spotlight. Paimon, however, puffed her chest out proudly.

"That's right! Leave it to Paimon, the Great Navigator, and Aether, the world's best adventurer!"

Lisa, leaning against the headquarters' doorframe, chuckled. "Oh, this will be amusing. I'm curious to see how they manage to find a mythical bird."

With the announcement concluded, the duo prepared to set out on their fowl quest.

"Paimon's not so sure about this, Aether," Paimon muttered as they left Mondstadt's gates, following vague leads from the locals. "How are we supposed to find a turkey? Paimon's never seen one before, and you've been to every nation!"

"Neither have I," Aether admitted, scanning the nearby woods. "But Jean seemed confident. Maybe they do exist here, just really rare."

They ventured through Whispering Woods first, startling a flock of pigeons that sent Timmy running from the city walls to scold them. No turkeys there.

Next, they tried Stormbearer Mountains, where the wind was fierce, but the only birds they found were Anemo Crystalfly and a lone hawk circling overhead.

"This is impossible!" Paimon groaned, plopping onto a rock. "Paimon bets this whole 'turkey' thing is a prank by Venti."

Suddenly, a rustle in the bushes caught their attention. Aether drew his sword, and Paimon floated nervously behind him.

"Careful, Traveler. It could be something dangerous!"

From the foliage emerged a plump bird—red and brown feathers with a distinctive wattle.

"Paimon!" she shrieked. "That's it! That's the turkey!"

The bird clucked indignantly and darted away.

"Wait!" Aether shouted, sprinting after it.

The turkey proved more elusive than anticipated, weaving through the underbrush with surprising agility. Aether leaped over rocks and ducked under branches, Paimon shouting directions from above.

"It went left! No, your left! Ugh, this bird is mocking us!"

The chase led them to the edge of Wolvendom, where Razor and his pack watched curiously.

"Traveler. Paimon." Razor tilted his head. "Why chasing bird?"

"It's for Mondstadt's Thanksgiving festival," Paimon explained hurriedly. "We need it for a feast!"

Razor frowned. "Not good to chase like that. Scares it."

"Do you know how we can catch it?" Aether asked, panting slightly.

Razor nodded. "Calm. Use bait. Turkeys like food." He tossed them a handful of berries.

With Razor's advice, they laid a trail of berries, waiting quietly. Sure enough, the turkey reappeared, cautiously approaching the bait.

"Get ready," Paimon whispered, her voice barely audible.

As the turkey pecked at the berries, Aether lunged with precision.

Just as Aether was about to grab the bird, a sudden gust of wind swept through, sending the turkey flying.

"Not so fast!"

It was Venti, floating lazily on his lyre. He grinned mischievously.

"Looks like you two need a little divine intervention."

"Venti!" Paimon screeched. "You scared it off!"

"Relax," Venti said with a wink. "I'll help. That bird's as good as caught."

With a wave of his hand, a breeze carried the turkey back toward them. However, the bird squawked loudly and flapped furiously, resisting with surprising force.

"That's one strong bird," Aether muttered, jumping to try again.

This time, the turkey led them on a chaotic loop around the clearing, narrowly evading every attempt. Finally, Aether leapt from a tree branch, capturing it in a net.

"Phew," Paimon sighed in relief. "We did it!"

Returning to Mondstadt victorious, Aether and Paimon were met with cheers. The turkey was handed over to Sara at Good Hunter, who assured them it would be prepared with the utmost care.

The Thanksgiving feast was a roaring success. As the citizens enjoyed the meal, Jean approached the duo.

"Thank you, Honorary Knight, Paimon. The festival wouldn't have been the same without your efforts."

"All in a day's work!" Paimon said, grinning.

As the night wore on, Venti raised a toast. "To the Traveler and Paimon! And to the mythical turkey of Teyvat!"

The Thanksgiving feast was well underway in Mondstadt. Tables stretched across the plaza, laden with roasted vegetables, steaming pies, and, of course, the centerpiece of the evening—the freshly roasted turkey. The citizens of Mondstadt ate, drank, and celebrated with merry abandon.

Aether and Paimon sat at the main table alongside Jean, Diluc, and Venti, savoring the food.

"Paimon has to admit, that turkey turned out amazing!" Paimon said, wiping her mouth with a napkin. "Totally worth all the effort!"

"Delicious indeed," Jean agreed with a small smile.

Venti grinned mischievously as he raised his goblet of dandelion wine. "A toast to the noble bird that brought us together tonight! May its sacrifice be sung in legend!"

Before anyone could respond, a scout from the Knights of Favonius burst into the plaza, panting and wide-eyed.

"Acting Grand Master Jean!" the scout shouted. "We have an emergency! An...an army of turkeys is invading Mondstadt!"

The plaza fell silent. Then, chaos erupted.

"Did he say turkeys?" Diluc asked incredulously, standing abruptly.

Aether and Paimon exchanged stunned looks. "Turkeys?!" Paimon shrieked.

It didn't take long for the citizens to realize the scout wasn't joking. The sound of frantic gobbling echoed through the city as a wave of turkeys flooded the streets, their beady eyes glowing with vengeance.

"Why does this always happen to us?!" Paimon wailed as she dodged a particularly aggressive bird.

Jean immediately took charge. "Knights, to arms! Protect the citizens and contain the turkeys!"

Aether drew his sword and charged into the fray, slashing at the oncoming horde. However, the turkeys proved surprisingly resilient. One bird dodged his strike with a nimble hop and counterattacked by pecking his boots.

"They're tougher than Hilichurls!" Aether exclaimed, shaking off the persistent bird.

Nearby, Diluc swung his claymore, flames roaring to life as he cleaved through the horde. "This is ridiculous," he muttered, batting away a turkey attempting to peck at his cape.

"Ridiculous or not, they're organized!" Paimon yelled, pointing to a turkey standing atop a barrel, seemingly directing the others with loud gobbles.

As the chaos unfolded, Venti floated above the scene, laughing uncontrollably.

"Look at them go! Truly, a spectacle for the ages!" he said, strumming his lyre.

Paimon's face turned red with rage. "This is all your fault, Venti!" she shouted, zipping up to him.

"My fault?" Venti asked, feigning innocence.

"Yes, your fault! You probably used your Anemo powers to stir up some turkey uprising or something! Admit it!"

Venti chuckled, raising his hands defensively. "Now, now, Paimon. I would never meddle with the avian kingdom. Turkeys are noble creatures—they don't need my help to rise up."

"Don't give Paimon that!" she snapped. "This has 'Venti's mischief' written all over it!"

As if to punctuate her accusation, a turkey launched itself at Venti, who barely dodged in time.

"See?! Even the turkeys know it's your fault!"

Despite the overwhelming numbers, the Knights of Favonius began to regain control. Lisa conjured lightning that sent flocks of turkeys scattering, while Amber's well-placed arrows picked off the stragglers.

"Hold the line!" Jean commanded, her wind-infused strikes keeping the advancing birds at bay.

Aether noticed the turkey "commander" barking orders to its troops and had an idea. "If we take out their leader, they might retreat!" he shouted.

With Paimon's help, he launched himself toward the barrel where the leader stood. The turkey gobbled defiantly, flapping its wings as it prepared to face Aether in battle.

"Bring it on!" Aether yelled, clashing with the feathered general in a bizarre duel of skill and determination.

The turkey was surprisingly skilled, using its wings and beak to parry Aether's strikes. It even performed a spin move that knocked Aether off balance.

"Are you seriously losing to a turkey?!" Paimon yelled, facepalming.

"Not helping, Paimon!" Aether retorted, regaining his footing.

After an intense exchange, Aether managed to disarm the turkey (well, metaphorically—turkeys don't have weapons) and pin it with his blade. The bird let out a final, defeated gobble, and the rest of the flock immediately began retreating, their morale shattered.

As the last turkey fled Mondstadt, the city erupted into cheers. Exhausted but relieved, the citizens began to clean up the mess left behind.

Jean approached Aether, a rare smile of amusement on her face. "Thank you for your efforts, Traveler. Once again, you've saved Mondstadt...though this might be the strangest crisis we've faced yet."

"Tell me about it," Aether said, sitting down to catch his breath.

Paimon crossed her arms, glaring at Venti. "Paimon still thinks this was all your fault."

Venti smirked, plucking a string on his lyre. "Oh, come now, Paimon. Who's to say this isn't the will of the winds? Perhaps the turkeys simply sought justice for their fallen comrade."

"That's not funny!"
