Chapter 1 - 1 year 6 months later
19-year-old Y/N smiled as she walked through the restaurant and placed two plates down on the table.
"One Egg Benedict with fried potatoes and a side of bacon for the gentlemen and One order of biscuits and sausage gravy with a side order of turkey bacon." Y/N said with a smile at the older couple.
"Thank you, Dear." The woman said with a smile.
Y/N smiled and walked to a table to clean it off for the next customers. Living in York New City had its challenges, but she loved it. The city that never sleeps had so much going on that someone could never be bored.
Looking out the window, Y/N sighed as a couple walked by. Their soulmate marks showed on the girl's hand and the man's neck.
Y/N would love to show off her marks and be with her soulmates if they weren't part of a dangerous criminal organization. One of Y/N's marks was hidden under her waitresses' clothes while the other on her thigh had makeup covering it up. She couldn't let anyone see the marks. Her brothers had warned her of the danger. If her soulmates found her, the chance of them killing her was a very likely option.
Y/N walked into the back and placed the dirty dishes in the tub for bus boy, Chang, to wash.
"Got another load for you, Chang." Y/N said with a smile at the young man who was writing in a book.
He glanced up with a smile. " How does this sound? Your beauty is as amazing as a souffle. You smell as sweet as a chocolate lava cake. I will treasure you as a spider eagle egg. My beautiful soulmate."
Y/N'S lips twitched. "It sounds amazing. Have you found your soulmate, yet?"
Chang's lips twitched down. "Not yet but I have faith. What about you?"
Y/N shook her head. "No."
"Y/N, YOU GOT SOME NEW CUSTOMERS!" The cook, Ambrocio, yelled.
Y/N went to the door only to feel the mark on her side start tingling. Horror filled her face.
Chang looked at Y/N in confusion. "Are you ok?"
Y/N nodded her head with a forced smile. "Yep. I'm good."
Y/N took a breath and walked out the door into the main restaurant seating. Glancing around she saw the new table. Sitting there was four people. A blond male dressed in a purple outfit, a blond woman in a suit, a woman with black hair and glasses and a blond man wearing a jump suit.
Grabbing four menus, Y/N walked over with a forced smile.
"Good morning, my name is Y/N and I will be your waitress. What can I get you all to drink?" Y/N asked while laying the menus on the table.
The blond woman sighed while glancing at her blond companion in purple. "Coffee with milk and sugar."
"Coke for me," said the other woman.
Y/N glanced at the blond man in the jumpsuit. "For you, sir?"
He glared at Y/N. "Diet Coke."
Y/N nodded her head before turning to the last blonde. Her eyes widened at his intense stare.
"Your name is Y/N?" He said with a tilt of his head.
Y/N nodded her head slowly. She could feel the mark tingling. It hadn't stopped since she entered the room.
"Do you have a soul mark?" He asked staring at her intensely.
Y/n took a breath. "No. I did not receive a soul mark."
He sighed and leaned back. "I'll have a Sprite."
Y/n nodded and quickly left the table.
She fixed the four drinks and started walking toward the table. She could see the four whispering together. They stopped when she got to the table and Y/N passed out the drinks.
"Do you all know what y'all would like to order?" Y/N asked with a smile.
The angry blond huffed. "Get me the Supreme Breakfast feast"
Y/n nodded her head. "Ok, that comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, a T-bone steak, toast and fried potatoes. How would you like your eggs and Steak cooked?"
He glared at her, "Eggs fried over easy and Steak medium."
Y/N Nodded her head before turning to the dark-haired woman. "For you, miss?"
"Bacon Breakfast bowl" she said pushing her glasses up with her finger.
Y/N nodded before turning to the blond woman.
"Egg omelet with onion, green peppers, ham and cheese. A side of bacon crisp." she said starting intensely at the girl.
Y/N licked her lips before turning to the last blond. "For you sir?"
A weird look passed through the man's eyes before he smiled. "Chocolate chip pancakes with breakfast potatoes and bacon please."
Y/N nodded her head writing down his order. "I will get these orders in."
She went to leave when the blond woman's hand shot out grabbing hers.
"That is a beautiful bracelet. Where did you get it?" She asked with a smile.
Y/N glanced at the butterfly bracelet confused. "One of my brothers bought it for me when he was traveling. I'm not sure where he bought it."
"Hum. Interesting." She said before her grip tightened. "You said you didn't have a soul mark. How old are you?"
Y/N flushed as she thought about the two marks as well as the warnings from her brothers. "No. I don't have any marks. I'm 19."
The woman's eyes narrowed before she nodded releasing Y/N's hand. "Interesting."
Y/n licked her lips and nodded. She turned and fled to the kitchen. She needed a minute after this. Her mark on her side still had not stopped tingling.
Dining room
The four spiders watched Y/N left.
Pakunoda turned to Shalnark whispering, "She lied. She does have your mark and Feitan's. She only knows her mates belong to our group from her hunter brothers."
Shalnark tensed with a wild look in his eyes before an annoyed smirk appeared on his face. "Kitten is going to learn not to lie to me."
Phinks snorted "You're going to have to share with Feitan. That will be interesting."
Shizuka shook her head. "Those two works well together. It's obvious why they share a soulmate. I feel sorry for Y/N as she will never get away with anything with those two tag-teamed against her."
Pakunoda snorted "she won't stand a chance as they manipulate her into their ideal soulmate."
Shalnark just smirked and pulled out his phone.
Phinks raised an eyebrow, "What are you doing?"
Shalnark glanced at him, "Sending a text to Feitan to let him know I found our soulmate."
Pakunoda sighed. "Don't forget the boss's mission."
Shalnark smiled. "I won't. I'm sure Feitan and I can come up with a plan for our kitten while doing the heist."
The others shared a look. They almost felt sorry for Y/A. Almost being the word.
