Werewolf search

It was Saturday and Emma was intrigued to do some more searching into why she was bitten randomly by a wild wolf. She returned to the forest where she was attacked that night and examined the circle of stones more closely.

Emma noticed that surrounding the stones were some metal chains. They were bolted to the rocks and appeared to be worn as they had some deep markings suggesting that they were used as restraints.

As she was examining the stones, Emma heard two familiar voices. She looked up and saw the same women she had encountered at UCLA.

"Hey, it's that woman again!" said the blonde.

"What are you doing in our hideout?" asked the brunette.

"Well I don't see anything to suggest this place belongs to you two," Emma replied. "This is probably just a natural stone formation."

The blonde then walked over to one of the stones and pointed at it. "But how come it has my name on it?"

Emma walked over and saw some inscription written on the stone. It read 'Catherine Field.'

"So you are Catherine Field then," replied Emma. "Why would you want to carve your name on some silly piece of rock?"

"Oh come on, it's not just any old lump of stone. This rock circle is a very sacred place for our pack," Catherine spoke.

"Yeah we do all sorts of rituals here," replied the brunette.

Emma was now feeling very scared. She was worried that she was in the company of two werewolves, and she began to run away.

Catherine called out to her friend and the two began running after Emma. "You can't outrun us!" she yelled.

Emma looked back and saw that Catherine had brought out her hands, which now had sharp claws sticking out of them. She screamed but fell over onto her face. Catherine walked up to her and opened her mouth, revealing some sharp teeth inside.

"Now you better not tell anyone about our secret! Or else you will be dead!"

Emma reluctantly left the two werewolves alone as she walked out of the forest.

Back at the Gilbert's house

Emma was in her room as Elliott entered. "So sister, did you manage to find out what sort of creatures attacked you?"

"Yes, and it was two mean werewolves who want to control all the lands surrounding this area!"

Elliott was surprised as he responded, "But that's silly. Everyone knows that werewolves are just imaginary creatures."

"Well, you never knew that mermaids existed until you found about my secret." said Emma.

"Yeah, that is true. But surely no-one else would believe you."

"That is where I come in. I have my own powers and can try to beat these werewolves at their own game."

At the local mall

Emma and her family were in the local shopping mall. Emma went alone to search for some new clothes. In one store, she saw the same two werewolf ladies trying out some jewellery. She stood at a distance and listened to their conversation.

"These rings aren't as good as our moonstone ones," said the brunette.

"Of course not Tori! These are just plain without any magic in them!" replied Catherine.

Catherine and her friend Tori then left the jewellery section as they walked over to another part of the store. They found a few t shirts and headed to the change rooms to try them on. Emma saw an opportunity and when they left, she walked over to their handbags which they left behind. She grabbed a water bottle and using her powers, froze the liquid inside.

Emma then walked away as Catherine and Tori returned to collect their bags. Catherine brought out her water bottle, only to find out it was frozen solid. "Who on earth did this?!" she exclaimed.

"Well it certainly wasn't me," replied Tori.

"I swear, there is someone around here who is just like us!" complained Catherine.

"What, you mean another person with magical powers? Just shut up Cathy, you know humans can't practice magic!" joked Tori.

Catherine was not amused, as she walked out. Emma just giggled, but it attracted the attention of Catherine who marched towards her.

"Were you the one behind this sick prank?!" shouted Catherine as she shoved the frozen water bottle in Emma's face.

"No, that couldn't have been me either. As your friend pointed out, I'm just a human with no magic powers." Emma replied.

Catherine simply stormed away and rejoined her friend Tori.
