Hello everyone, how ya doing. It's been a while. I won't make an excuse, just been busy with trying to get a job and playing World of Warcraft. Although, I have some bad news. My document holding my next Arc V chapter was corrupted, so I had to start it all over again. I apologies. Next story to be updated will be my Pokémon story, and after that my Warcraft story.

Chapter 22: The final step to go home part 2.
Atop the final platform of the Tower of Hanoi, Playmaker, White Dragon Mask stood on their platform, facing Varis and Black Dragon Mask on their platform with all four Duelist having their eyes narrowed. Both Ai and Azure were in their full forms, glaring at the two Kogami siblings.
On Varis and Black Dragon Mask's field was Borreload Savage Dragon with an ATK power of 3000, while Playmaker and White Dragon Mask only had a face-down card and Cyberse Wizard on their field.
Varis and Black Dragon Mask Life Points: 7500/ Number of cards in hand: 5/ 2.
White Dragon Mask and Playmaker Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 6/ 1.
"My turn now!" Playmaker called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, before he added it to his hand and picked the other card that he was holding. "Take to the skies, Clock Wyvern!" Playmaker called out as he slammed the card on his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared in front of him, before a purple cybernetic dragon flew out of it and onto his field.
Clock Wyvern ATK Points: 1800/ Level: 4.
"I activate his special ability! When he's Summoned, in exchange for half his ATK Points, I can Summon a Clock Token to the field!'' Playmaker explained his monster's effect as Clock Wyvern powered down, while a Clock Token appeared on the field.
Clock Wyvern ATK Points: 1800 – 900 = 900.
Clock Token ATK Points: 0000/ Level: 1.
"The stage is set!" Ai commented, getting Playmaker to nod at his partner in agreement. "Watch as I create the ultimate Circuit!" Playmaker cried out as he held out his right hand as the link portal appeared in the sky. "I set the Clock Token in the Link Arrow!" Playmaker declared as the Clock Token turned into a green tornado that entered the bottom Link Arrow. "Appear Link Spider!" Playmaker cried out as Link Spider appeared from the link portal, taking the left Extra Deck Monster Zone.
Link Spider ATK Points: 1000/ Link: 1/ Link Arrows: Bottom.
"I'm not done yet!" The yellow, red and pink haired boy cried out as he continued to hold out his right hand as the Link portal reappeared in the sky. "I set Link 1 Link Spider and Cyberse Wizard in the Link Arrows!" Playmaker declared as his two monsters turned into tornados, both of them the colors of their attributes, before they flew up and entered the left and right Link Arrows. "Appear Link-2 Progleo!" Playmaker cried out as a white dog-like monster with a camera on its back appeared, taking Link Spider's spot in the Extra Deck Monster Zone.
Progleo ATK Points: 1000/ Link: 2/ Link markers: Left and Right.
"Playmaker! Let's show him our new power!" Ai cried out, punching the air with his fists in excitement. The hero of LINK VRAINS nodded as he held up a card with his right hand's index finger. "Right! I now play the Spell card, Cynet Fusion!" Playmaker cried out as he held the Spell card out with his right hand's index and middle fingers. "With this Spell, I fuse Clock Wyvern with the Link 2 Progleo!" Playmaker cried out as Clock Wyvern broke into green particles while Progleo became white particles. The particles swirled together into a vortex, before spiraling upwards as streams of energy. The streams converged, creating a whirlwind of pure energy.
"By fusing my monsters, I merge them into a new, more powerful creation! I Fusion Summon Cyberse Clock Dragon!" Playmaker chanted out as the stripes on his jumpsuit changed to purple. The whirlwind cleared to reveal Playmaker's new Fusion Monster, Cyberse Clock Dragon, who let out a powerful roar as it appeared, taking the left Extra Deck Monster Zone.
Cyberse Clock Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.
"Ha! Now that's impressive!" Azure remarked with his arms crossed as he and his partner looked up at Cyberse Clock Dragon. "You got that right". White Dragon Mask said in agreement to his partner, amazed with Cyberse Clock Dragon, even though they was the one who created it. Varis and Black Dragon Mask stared up at the Fusion Monster in awe as well, before the leader of the Hanoi looked back towards his rival.
"Impressive creature, but it's no match against my Borreload Savage Dragon!" Varis exclaimed with a smirk on his face, pretty confident that his dragon would defeat Cyberse Clock Dragon. "That's where you're wrong, pal!" Ai called out with narrowed eyes. "Cyberse Clock Dragon's special ability activates! When it's Fusion Summoned, I can discard the top cards of my deck equal to the Link Arrows of the Link Monsters used to Summon it and Clock Dragon gains 1000 ATK Points for each discarded card!'' Playmaker explained as he swipped his right hand to the side, making Varis widen his eyes.
'Progleo had two Link Markers, meaning that's two cards he can discard!' Varis thought to himself with wide eyes as Playmaker drew the two top cards of his deck, seeing that they were Latency and Garbage Collector, before he sent them to the graveyard. "Two cards were discarded, meaning that's 2000 Points for Cyberse Clock Dragon!" The yellow, red and pink haired male called out as Cyberse Clock Dragon was covered in a red aura as he powered up.
Cyberse Clock Dragon ATK Points: 2500 + 2000 = 4500.
"4500 ATK Points!'' The leader of the Knights of Hanoi called out in surprise at seeing Clock Dragon's ATK Points higher than his Savage Dragon. "Now Cyberse Clock Dragon, show Borreload Savage Dragon whose top dragon! Pulse Pressure!" Playmaker cried out as he pointed at Savage Dragon with his right hand's index finger. Cyberse Clock Dragon began gathering energy in his mouth, before he unleashed a blast attack, destroying Savage Dragon. (4500 – 3000 = 1500)
Varis Life Points: 7500 – 1500 = 6000.
"Woohoo! We took out Savage Dragon!" Ai cried out in joy at seeing Varis's Synchro Dragon destroyed. "I'm not done yet! I play the Spell Card, White Reflect Mirror!'' Playmaker cried out, holding his right hand out as the face-down card that White Dragon Mask left revealed itself with the image showing a white mirror showing Monster Reborn's reflection.
(White Reflect Mirror/ Type: Spell/ Effect: If your opponent activated a Spell Card on their last turn, you can remove one Spell Card from your graveyard and activate your opponent's spell as if it were your own.)
"Huh? The card our friends left?" Ai said in confusion as he looked up at his partner, who nodded down to him. "Indeed. White Reflect Mirror is a Spell that allows the user to remove from play a Spell card from their graveyard and use a Spell their opponent used on their last turn!" Azure explained for everyone as Varis and Black Dragon Mask widened their eyes in alarm. A black portal appeared in front of Playmaker with Grid Rod's card floating over it.
"I remove Grid Rod from my Graveyard and add Card of Sanctity from your Graveyard!" Playmaker declared his choice as Grid Rod's card shattered into sparkles that was absorbed into the portal, which closed after fully absorbing the sparkles. The Card of Sanctity Spell card then appeared in front of Playmaker, which he took hold of it with his right hand. "I see! With that Spell, we'll have a full hand and Varis will only get to draw one card!" Ai cried out in realization at what his partner's plan is.
"That's right! I play the Spell Card of Sanctity!" Playmaker called out as he slotted the Spell in, before he started drawing six cards, while Varis just drew one. Playmaker looked at his new hand, before he transferred the card over to his left hand and took one of the cards in his right hand. "I'll end my turn here with a face-down!" The hero of LINK VRAINS declared his turn over, slotting the card into his Duel Disk, before a face-down card appeared in front of him. Playmaker and White Dragon Mask stared across the field towards their opponents with determined faces that were mirrored by their Ignis partners. Varis and Black Dragon Mask stared back with just as much determination as their opponents with none of the four duelists ready to give up.
((VRAINS opening 1: With the Wind)
A digital tunnel appeared with balls of data going down, before a glowing eye appeared. The eye then disappeared to reveal a data Duel Disk attached to a digital shadow of Playmaker riding on his Duel Board and holding his left arm up. The digital copy rode his Duel Board, before he transformed into a bright flash of light. The light changed to several different colored birds flying into the digital tunnel, before another bright flash appeared. The flash cleared and the digital tunnel transformed into a bright light blue world with the opening title 'Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS: White Dragon Emperor' in front of the screen, before it zoomed in.
"I run Across the universe".
The screen changed to show the slightly clouded blue sky above Den City with the sun shining. The screen then changed to show a street of Den City, where Naoki Shima running up to Yusaku, Ash and Rose, carrying his school bag on his back and waving his right hand to them. Ash and Yusaku paid no attention to him as they carried their school bags over their right shoulders. Rose noticed him as she walked besides her brother, holding her bag with both her hands in front of her, before she lifted her right hand and waved back at Naoki. The wind softly blew past Yusaku and Ash, blowing their hair in the breeze, but the two tilted their heads down slightly.
"At the speed of light".
On a nearby bridge full of cars and buses, a black clothed male with a hood on, jogging at the left side of the bridge.
"Begin Loading".
The camera zoomed in to show that the black clothed male was actually Gore, who was lightly breathing as he jogged.
"Open the door to dreams".
The screen changed to show that the day had changed to late afternoon with the sun begging to set for the day. Watching the sun set was Skye Zaizen, before she turned to her left and showed the sad look on her face. Nearby on a grassy hill, Lulu, Celina, Rin, Zuzu and Saya were all watching the sunset as well. Celina was lying down on the grass with her hands folded behind her head; Rin was sitting down with her left leg pulled up and her left hand hanging on it. Zuzu was standing up as she watched the sunset with her hands folded behind her and finally, Lulu was sitting down on the grass with her hands wrapped around Saya.
The screen changed to show Kolter watching the sunset from in his van on the driveway, holding up a hotdog with his right hand. The screen changed once more to show that it was now late in the dark for Den City. Akira Zaizen was standing next to his car, looking off into the distance with his right hand in his pocket.
"VRAINS spreads".
"Believe in myself".
The screen changed to show the bright city of Den City with the buildings night lights up and multiple screens flying around the city. Standing in the middle of the light city was Yusaku, Ash and Rose standing besides one another, carrying their school bags. Rose was standing at the left, Yusaku in the middle and Ash was at the right.
Different colored screens came and went across the city, but the three paid no attention to them as they continued to face forward. Just then, a bright light came up from behind the three and completely lit up the screen with only the three teenager's bodies that can be seen in the light. The screen zoomed into to show a close up of Yusaku's face, before zooming out, and then changed to show Ash's and repeat, before changing to Rose's face as well.
"VRAINS continues".
The screen changed back to show the three standing in the bright light. Just then, their Ignis partners, Ai, Azure and Blaze all came out of nowhere and flew forward. They disappeared and were replaced with brief flashes of child version of Yusaku, Ash and Rose. The images were replaced by Playmaker's left arm with his Duel Disk activating.
Ai appeared in eye form in the orb of Playmaker's Duel Disk with a data stream inside of his eye. The screen changed to show Playmaker's right hand with the thumb, index and middle fingers out, while the ring and pinkie fingers were tucked in. Playmaker waved his hand down, leaving a golden line of energy with his golden stripes glowing.
The screen changed to show Yusaku standing up, holding his left arm up with his Duel Disk strapped on with his deck slotted in. Just then, the words "Into the VRAINS" appeared on the blade of the Duel Disk in light blue writing, before Yusaku's body began glowing blue.
"The circuit draws the future".
Inside of LINK VRAINS, three flashes, a light blue, rosy red and silvery white appeared in the Data Material wind, before they all cleared to reveal Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask all surfing on their Duel Boards besides one another with their Duel Disks activated, holding five cards with their left hands and facing forward.
The screen zoomed in as the three Duelists placed their right hands on the top cards of their decks, before the camera shifted to their determined filled faces. The three then drew their cards in dramatic fashions, leaving different coloured flares of light as they swiped their hands out.
The screen then changed to show their second ace monsters appearing in dramatic fashions. First, Decode Talker flew in with his energy sword in his right hand, before he spun around and took a stance with his blade rested on his right shoulder and his left hand close to taking hold of it. Then, White Dragon – Blue Link Dragon and Rose Dragon – Frozen Blue Rose flew in from above, before they flew past each other. The two then stopped besides one another and roared.
"I'll grab it with my own hands. Yeah"
The screen zoomed out to up above to show the three Duelists holding their right hands out in different styles. Playmaker had his right hand out to the side, White Dragon Mask had his right hand held out forward and Rose Dragon Mask held her right hand up into the sky. Then, their main monsters, Firewall Dragon, Novaforce Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon flew over them, flying besides each other.
The three dragons then stopped and reared their head up, before unleashing powerful roars all together as they flew behind their own Duelists besides their fellow monsters. Firewall Dragon with Decode Talker, Novaforce Stardust Dragon and White Dragon – Blue Link Dragon and Black Rose Dragon with Rose Dragon – Frozen Blue Rose. All of them faced forward with Decode Talker holding his blade out, ready to take on whatever challenges await them.
With small bits of fire briefly appearing, the screen then changed to show an army of Knights of Hanoi gathered together behind Specter.
"Access!"
The screen changed to briefly show the right side of Varis with a red background, before changing to show the left side of Black Dragon Mask. The screen changed to show Topologic Bomber Dragon flying over the city of LINK VRAINS, releasing shockwaves of energy as it flew towards the camera.
"Star swirling, Data Storm!"
Topologic Bomber Dragon released a powerful roar with the orb inside its mouth gleaming brightly. The screen changed to show a purple Data Storm, a white one and a rosy red one beginning to take shape, before all three began ragging across LINK VRAINS.
"I'm now With the Wind".
The screen changed to show Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose all still riding atop their Duel Boards together in the Data Material wind with the end of their boards leaving a electric wind surge trail. The three Duelists held their left arms up in front of them with Playmaker leading them.
"Link with my soul".
All three of them then curved to the right, kicking up Data Material wind at the camera, before it cleared to reveal Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask surfing forward towards the screen. The camera zoomed in on Playmaker's face first, then switched over to White Dragon Mask's, then finally Black Rose Dragon Mask's face with all three of them having determined filled faces.
"Speed up, Data Storm!"
The screen changed to a light blue world filled with hearts, before Blue Angel appeared, giving a wink with her left eye as she spun around, leaving a blue tail with her left hand out. She then stopped fully with her left hand up towards the sky with a bright smile. The blue world changed to purple as Blue Angel's ace monster, Trickstar Holly Angel, appeared with a wide smile, before she flew out and took a pose with her whip.
Then, the world changed from purple to light green as Holly Angel flew to behind her Duelist and taking a stance, while Trickstar Divaridis appeared in front of the camera, giving a wink as she held her microphone up to her face with her right hand and held her left hand out, before she flew to Blue Angel's right side and posed.
"Now Win the Race".
The world changed to a rosy red as Trickstar Bella Madonna appeared and swung her axe down, before she joined her fellow Trickstars on Blue Angel's left. The world changed into a four split screen with all four previous colors from before behind Blue Angel and her monsters.
"Connected world".
The screen changed to show the smiling face of the Gore, before he fell back to show that he was surfing atop his Duel Board. Then, Goku The Great Ogre appeared on the left side and Gouki The Giant Ogre appeared on the right side, before Gore flew past his monsters in between them and gave a smirk as he held his fists up.
"No matter when".
The screen changed to show the real world, before Emma drove out of a tree and into the air on her motorcycle. Her hair blew in the breeze as the camera zoomed in on her face, before it shot out upon Emma jumping off of her motorcycle and throwing her helmet off. The two virtually disappeared as Emma fell, before her body began glowing light purple.
She spun around as the purple glowing came off of her as sparkles, revealing that she had changed into her avatar, Ghost Gal, which she stared into the screen.
"Nothing is impossible".
In a virtual world, red data appeared and came together, before forming 5 circles that changed to light green. Varis and Black Dragon Mask appeared with their left hands up as the five circles took positions with a familiar creature slowly appearing out of nowhere behind the leaders of the Knights of Hanoi. The five circles then glowed brightly, before dyeing down to reveal that they were the five crystals of Cracking Dragon, who was now behind Varis and Black Dragon Mask.
"Strive for hope".
The screen shifted from Varis and Black to Cracking Dragon's face as the Machine-type gathered energy and formed a blue sphere in front of its open mouth. The screen changed to show LINK VRAINS again with Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask riding their Duel Boards.
Playmaker's stripes gleamed golden as he, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask placed their right hands on their decks and took hold of the top cards. The camera zoomed in on Playmaker's face, before it zoomed out as he, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask all drew their cards in dramatic fashions, leaving different coloured flares of light. Playmaker's was orange, White Dragon Mask's was silvery white and Black Rose Dragon Mask left a rosy red one.
"And ride the wind!"
Varis narrowed his eyes at the sight of them, before he swiped his right hand out to show that he and Black Dragon Mask were now on their Duel Boards. Two bright flashes appeared behind them, before their ace monsters, Borreload Dragon and Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon appeared from them and roared.
Decode Talker and Novaforce Stardust Dragon appeared out of nowhere, before the Cyberse Monster flew up towards Borreload Dragon and Novaforce Stardust Dragon flew towards Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon. The two dragons swung their fists at one another and clashed, while Decode Talker swung his blade and Borreload Dragon thrust his right claw out.
"Oh yeah!"
The four monsters collided with one another, creating a great light of power that blinded the screen, before it cleared to reveal Cyberse Wizard in a purple world. He spun around and took his activated staff into both his hands and released a light blue energy wave. The purple world changed to a yellow one as Link Slayer then appeared with his energy blades activated with the light blue energy wave that Cyberse Wizard released being his right energy blade.
He swiped his left blade down, before he left the screen as the world changed into navy coloured one with Bitron flying down towards the screen from above. He flew up to the screen with the camera zooming in on its left eye, before a brief flash appeared.
From the flash, Playmaker, White Dragon Mask, Black Rose Dragon Mask, Black Dragon Mask and Varis all appeared on their Duel Boards, taking a moment to glare at one another, before they all passed each other. Then, they turned into different colours that fell into a black portal, before Gore, Blue Angel, Purple Night, Green Witch, Music Singer and Lunalight Dancer appeared on their Duel Boards as well, before turning into different coloured lights and fell into the black portal as well.
The black portal changed into the same tunnel from the beginning with digital spheres falling into it, before it changed to Den City.
"Oh yeah!"
A pure white bird flew up from the ground and into the sky, heading towards the sun.
(With the Wind finished)
The top platform was silent as everyone awaited for Black Dragon Mask to begin his turn. The Black Dragon Emperor stared across the field towards his opposite, staring at him for a few moments, before he held his right hand up to his Duel Disk. He took hold of the top card of the deck with his right hand's index and middle fingers.
Black Dragon Mask Life Points: 6000/ Number of cards in hand: 2.
"My turn now! Draw!" Black Dragon Mask called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion with his right hand with the virtual circle disappearing. He took a moment to look at the card, before holding it out. "First, I play the Spell card, Pot of Greed! It allows me to draw 2 cards!" Black Dragon Mask explained as the Spell appeared in front of him, before it shattered with him drawing two more cards. "Now I activate the Spell card, Black Nightmare!" Black Dragon Mask called out as a Spell card appeared in front of him. The card's image showed Decode Talker drowning in darkness.
(Black Nightmare/ Type: Spell/ Effect: If your opponent controls a monster that was Summoned from the Extra Deck; you can negate its effects. The monster targeted by this effect cannot change its battle position or declare an attack as long as it remains on the field. The turn you activate this card, you cannot Summon monsters from the Extra Deck.)
"With this card's power, your Cyberse Clock Dragon's special abilities are negated!" Black Dragon Mask explained with a smirk on his field as black energy surround Cyberse Clock Dragon, making the Cyberse-Type monster groan as he felt himself being drained of his energy.
Cyberse Clock Dragon ATK points: 4500 – 2000 = 2500.
"Terrific". Playmaker remarked with narrowed eyes at seeing his powerful monster lose its power. "Now, if I control no monsters, I can Summon Black Dragon – Lady Nightmare!" Black Dragon Mask called out as a black female humanoid dragon with violet eyes and wings appeared on his field.
(Black Dragon – Lady Nightmare/ Level: 4/ Attribute: Dark/ Type: Dragon/ Tuner/ Effect/ ATK Points: 1700/ DEF Points: 1000/ Effect: If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand or graveyard once per turn. Once per turn, you can remove from play one Dark Attribute Dragon-Type monster from your graveyard, you can either deal half its ATK points as damage to your opponent or decrease the ATK Points of a monster your opponent controls.)
"I activate Lady Nightmare's special ability! By removing my brother's Borreload Furious Dragon, your Cyberse Clock Dragon loses ATK Points equal to half of the removed from play monster's ATK Points!'' Black Dragon Mask explained with a smirk on his face.
"Borreload Furious had 3000 ATK Points…" White Dragon Mask started as he spread his wings and took flight. "Meaning that's 1500 points that Cyberse Clock Dragon loses''. Playmaker finished for his partner as Cyberse Clock Dragon powered down.
Cyberse Clock Dragon ATK points: 2500 – 1500 = 1000.
"I'm not done yet! I summon Black Dragon – Sunrays Knight!'' Black Dragon Mask called out as Sunrays Knight appeared on his field.
Black Dragon – Sunrays Knight ATK points: 1600/ Level: 4.
"Now Lady Nightmare, attack Clock Dragon!'' Black Dragon Mask called out with a grin as Lady Nightmare charged at Cyberse Clock Dragon. White Dragon Mask quickly grabbed an Action card from a platform and threw it at Playmaker, who caught it without even looking. "I play the Action Spell, Evasion!" Playmaker called out as he slotted the card in his Duel Disk with Cyberse Clock Dragon dodging Lady Nightmare's attack.
"That Action Card negates your attack!" Ai explained the Spell's effect, looking smug. "Good thing then that I have two monsters! Go Sunrays Knight!'' Black Dragon Mask called out with a smirk as Sunrays Knight charged at Cyberse Clock Dragon this time.
This time, Playmaker started jumping across platforms as he retrieved the Action Card this time, but didn't get what he was hoping for. "I activate the Action Card, Choice Choice! This Action Card prevents Cyberse Clock Dragon's destruction!" Playmaker called out as the Spell appeared on his field.
Sunrays Knight slashed at Clock Dragon's head with its sword, but the Cyberse-Type monster wasn't destroyed. (1600 – 1000 = 600)
Playmaker Life points: 4000 – 600 = 3400.
"If you think your Dragon's safe, think again! I play the Quick-Play Spell Battle Destruction!'' Black Dragon Mask called out as a spell appeared on his field with the image showing Dark Magician surrounded by pillars of fire.
(Battle Destruction/ Type: Quick-Play Spell/ Effect: If your opponent controls a monster that's battled, it is destroyed and you draw one card.)
"Not only does this Spell destroy your dragon, I can draw a card!'' Black Dragon Mask explained as lightning struck Cyberse Clock Dragon, destroying it with the Emperor of the Black Dragons drawing a card. "Cyberse Clock Dragon's special ability activates! If it was destroyed by a card effect, I can add one Spell card from my deck to my hand!'' Playmaker explained as he searched through his deck and added a card to his hand.
"After all the trouble we went through to keep it''. Ai groaned out, emerging from his partner's Duel Disk. "We'll avenge Cyberse Clock Dragon on our turn!'' Azure reassured his friend as he emerged from his partner's Duel Disk. "I think I'll end my turn here with a face down''. Black Dragon Mask said with a smirk as a face down card appeared.
White Dragon Mask Life Points: 3400/ Number of cards in hand: 6.
"My turn to rock it! I draw!" White Dragon Mask called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion. "I'll start off by placing a face down card!" White Dragon Mask began as a face down card appeared on his field. "Now I'll Summon White Dragon – Scout Gardna!" White Dragon Mask called out as Scout Gardna appeared on his field.
White Dragon – Scout Gardna ATK Points: 1100/ Level: 3.

The rings turned blue and merged together.
Six miniature rings materialized where the two rings were seconds ago, surrounded by numerous green cards. A screen appeared in front of the rings that said "3 + 3" then changed to a '6'. A bright beam shot past the six rings, showing a bright light. "Stardust Charge Warrior, let's rev it up!" White Dragon Mask called out as Stardust Charge Warrior flew out of the light, making a dramatic entrance.

Ai called out with wide eyes at seeing another copy of the Field Spell. "With this Spell's power, I can Summon two Rokkets from my hand! Come forth Rokket Recharger and Rokket Synchron!" Varis called out as the two Rokket monsters appeared on his field in DEF Mode.

The tornadoes went into the top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right. "I Link Summon Link-4 Topologic Zeroboros!" Varis called out as a white armoured cybernetic dragon appeared, roaring.

Azure stated with narrowed eyes, pointing out its high ATK Points. "Here it comes''. White Dragon Mask said as he and Playmaker braced themselves. "First Topologic Zeroboros gains 200 ATK Points for every removed card from play! Since there's three, that's 600 ATK Points!'' Varis explained with a smirk on his face as Zeroboros powered up.

Ai added as he emerged from Playmaker's Duel Disk. "Not for long! I play the Trap, Synchro Spirits!" White Dragon Mask called out as his face-down card revealed itself. "By removing Charge Warrior from play, I can Summon back Ocean Dweller and Scout Gardna from the Graveyard!" White Dragon Mask explained as Ocean Dweller and Scout Gardna reappeared in front of him.

Varis called out as Zeroboros' ATK Points went up once more.

"3800 ATK Points..." Playmaker whispered to himself with narrowed eyes, seeing that for every card removed, Zeroboros will just get stronger. "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn". Varis declared his turn over as a face-down card appeared on his field.

"Nice work, guys! You left us with two monsters instead of one". Ai praised White Dragon Mask and Azure, which the White Dragon Ignis gave his friend the thumbs up with his right claw. "One of them is a Cyberse monster that'll help you guys Link Summon. Go crazy out there". Azure told his friend, who nodded to him, before he looked up at his partner.
"Let's do this, Playmaker!" Ai cried out to his partner with a determined voice, which Playmaker nodded to the Dark Ignis. "With pleasure! I draw!'' Playmaker cried out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion. "When a Cyberse monster I control is used for a Link Summon of a 'Code Talker' monster, I can use the Micro Coder from my hand as Link Material!" Playmaker explained as a small grey monster that looked like Decode Talker appeared on his field, before both it and Ocean Dweller turned into different coloured tornadoes.
The Link portal appeared in the sky as both tornados entered the top and bottom Link Arrows. "I Link Summon! Link-2! Code Talker!" Playmaker called out as a smaller version of Decode Talker appeared on the field, wielding a sword.

Playmaker explained as a card slotted out of his deck and he added it to his hand.
"Now I activate the Continuous Spell card Cynet Codec!" Playmaker called out as a Spell card appeared on his field. "Now I use the Link 2 Code Talker and White Dragon – Scout Gardna to Link Summon!" Playmaker declared as the link portal appeared in the sky. Code Talker turned into two tornadoes, while Scout Gardna turned into one.
The three tornadoes entered the top, right and bottom Link Arrows. "I Link Summon! Link-3 Transcode Talker!'' Playmaker called out as his newest Link Monster appeared, talking the right Extra Deck monster zone.

"I activate Transcode Talker's special ability! I can Summon a 'Code Talker' monster back from the graveyard in Transcode Talker's Link Marker! Resurrect Code Talker!" Playmaker cried out as Code Talker reappeared in Transcode Talker bottom Link marker.

"Now Transcode Talker and Code Talker effects activate!'' Playmaker called out as his two Link Monsters began glowing seperate colors. "However Zeroboros's effect activates! Since you foolishly Summoned a monster in a Link Monster's Link Arrow, all cards on the field are banished!" Varis called out as Zeroboros began to gather energy.
"Ahhh! Now all our cards are gonna be removed from play!'' Ai screamed out in fear, but Playmaker just smirked. "No they won't! I play the Trap Breakthrough Skill!'' Playmaker called out as his face down card revealed itself. "For the rest of this turn, Zeroboros's effect is negated!" Playmaker explained his Trap's effect as Zeroboros was covered in a white aura, causing it to lose the energy it had gathered.

The link portal appeared in the sky as Code Talker and Code Generator turned into 3 tornadoes, which entered the Top, Left and Right Link Arrows. "I Link Summon Link-3! Excode Talker!'' Playmaker called out as the green armored Code Talker appeared.

"Ha, now there's an effect you don't see everyday". White Dragon Mask commented with a smirk, enjoying the show. "We should have brought popcorn". Azure remarked as he enjoying the show as well.
"Cynet Codec allows me to add a Wind Attribute monster from my deck to my hand and the monster I choose is the Wind Attribute Rebuildeer!" Playmaker explained as he added another card from his deck to his hand. "Now Code Generator's effect activates! Since he was used as a material from my hand, I can send a Cyberse with 1200 or lower ATK to the graveyard!" Playmaker explained as he searched through his deck.
"The monster I choose to send is Dotscaper!" Playmaker declared as he sent the card to the graveyard. "Dotscaper's effect activates! If this card is sent to the Graveyard, it Special Summons itself!" The yellow, red and pink haired male explained as Dotscapper appeared on the field.

Playmaker called out as a red armored Code Talker monster appeared.

"Azure is correct. Monsters Summoned from Link Formation's effect cannot be destroyed in battle this turn". Black Dragon Mask explained with a smirk on his face, getting Ai to frown in annoyance.
Black Dragon Mask and Varis made eye contact before they nodded to each other, something that White Dragon Mask and Azure noticed, before they looked at each other. "They have something planned''. Azure told his partner, who nodded in agreement. "Something that involves those two monsters''. White Dragon Mask stated as he looked towards Twin Triangle Dragon and Quadborrel Dragon.
"But we can still deal damage! Powercode Talker, attack Twin Triangle Dragon!" Playmaker commanded as Powercode Talker fired its holographic claw at Twin Triangle Dragon, which closed in around the Dragon-Type, pulling it towards Powercode Talker. A powerful whirlwind formed around Powercode Talker's fist as the red armored warrior punched Twin Triangle Dragon, sending it smashing into the wall next to Varis. (2800 – 1200 = 1600)

"Now Excode Talker attacks Quadborrel Dragon!" Playmaker commanded as Excode Talker summoned its claws, before it charged at the robotic dragon, striking it and sending it smashing into the wall next to Twin Triangle Dragon. (2800 – 1000 = 1800)

Varis stepped back to allow Black Dragon Mask to take his turn. "My turn now! I draw!'' Black Dragon Mask cried out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion. "I play my face down, Heavy Storm!" Black Dragon Mask called out as his face-down card revealed itself, before a strong wind appeared, blowing away all of Playmaker's Spell and Trap cards. Playmaker's face downs were revealed to be Limit Code, Recode Alive and Cynet Cascade as they were destroyed. "Ahh man! It destroyed all our Spells and Traps!" Ai cried out in frustration at witnessing the five cards' destruction. "He isn't even done yet''. Azure told his friend with his arms crossed and eyes narrowed.
"Azure is correct! Now I activate the Spell, Pot of Black Greed!" Black Dragon Mask called out as a Spell appeared on his field. The image showed a black version of Pot of Greed with glowing yellow eyes.

I think I'll discard my Black Dragon – Nightmare!" Black Dragon Mask made his choice as the black and red dragon appeared for a second, before disappearing. "Now I activate the Spell, Spell Book from the Pot!" The emperor of the Black Dragons exclaimed as the Spell appeared on his field.
"This card enables all of us to draw 3 cards from our deck!" Black Dragon Mask explained as he, Varis, Playmaker and White Dragon Mask drew 3 more cards. Varis, Playmaker and Black Dragon Mask all had five cards, while White Dragon Mask had eight cards.
"Now since I control no monsters, I can Summon Lady Nightmare back from the graveyard!'' Black Dragon Mask explained as a portal appeared next to him, before Lady Nightmare flew out of it.

"However, Nightmare was a Tuner Monster. But with Nightmare replaced with that Shadow Token, he can now Synchro Summon. And I bet I know what he wants to Summon". White Dragon Mask told his friends, remembering Black Dragon Mask's dragon that looked like his Novaforce Stardust Dragon.
"That's not good''. Azure remarked, remembering how powerful that dragon was. "Now, Lady Nightmare tunes with the Shadow Token!" Black Dragon Mask cried out as he held up his right hand as the world greyed out as green lightening appeared behind him.

Azure explained Deadstar's special ability to his friend, who turned anime white in despair.
"Anything else we should know?" Playmaker asked his teammate in case they needed to worry about another effect from Deadstar, getting the White Dragon Emperor to look at him. "If they sacrifice 500 Life Points, they can destroy all monsters on the field and that thing gets 500 ATK Points for each destroyed monster". White Dragon Mask explained as he pointed at Deadstar with his right claw's index finger.
"That means we're finished!'' Ai yelled out in horror with his hands on his cheeks. "Calm down! We've got something that'll help us out of this situation!'' Azure told his friend, getting him to breath a sigh of relief. "Go Deadstar! Attack Transcode Talker!" Black Dragon Mask called out as he swiped his right hand out, making White Dragon Mask, Azure, Playmaker and Ai widen their eyes in surprise.
"Say what!'' All four of them called out in surprise as Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon charged forward and sliced Transcode Talker in half with just his claws, causing the Cyberse-Type to explode. (3000 – 2300 = 700)
Playmaker Life Points: 1800 – 700 = 1100.
"He got rid of Transcode Talker and his helpful effect, but why didn't he try to use Deadstar's special ability?" Azure questioned in confusion, holding his chin with his right claw. "Maybe because he wanted to keep those two Link Monsters". White Dragon Mask commented, looking at Twin Triangle Dragon and Quadborrel Dragon.
"But why? Just a few more attacks on those two dragons, then we'll win". Ai said as he looked up at Playmaker as if he had the answer. "We'll have to wait and see''. Playmaker told his friends, which all three of them nodded to him. "I'll set one face down card and end my turn''. Black Dragon Mask said, slotting a card into his Duel Disk while the dark auras around Excode and Powercode Talker disappeared.
Excode Talker ATK Points: 2700 – 400 = 2300.
Powercode Talker ATK Points: 2300 + 500 = 2800.

"My turn now, draw!'' White Dragon Mask called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, before adding it to his hand. "I summon White Dragon – Vanguard!" White Dragon Mask called out as the muscular dragon appeared on his field.

"I activate the Spell, White Dragon – Dragonic Call!" White Dragon Mask called out as a Spell card appeared on his field. The image showed Silver Pendulum Dragon roaring into the sky, calling for aid with Stardust Dragon answering the call, flying down to join his comrade.

"If I control a White Dragon monster, this Spell allows me to summon a Dragon-Type monster back from the graveyard! Arise once more Crystal Wing Dragon!" White Dragon Mask explained his Spell's effect as a white portal appeared next to him, before Crystal Wing flew out from it.

"Excode Talker's special ability activates! Since Crystal Wing Dragon is in his Link Marker, he gains 500 ATK Points!" White Dragon Mask explained as Crystal Wing Dragon powered up.
White Dragon – Crystal Wing Dragon ATK Points: 1700 + 500 = 2200.
"Now Level 4 Crystal Wing Dragon tunes with level 4 Vanguard!" White Dragon Mask called out as the world greyed out as green lightening appeared behind him.
Crystal Wing and Vanguard disintegrated into blue data before forming into two rings, one of them yellow while the other one was white, with tags labelled '4' and '4' attached to both rings respectively. The rings turned blue and merged together.
Eight miniature rings materialized where the two rings were seconds ago, surrounded by numerous green cards. A screen appeared in front of the rings that said "4 + 4" then changed to a '8'. A bright beam shot past the eight rings, showing a bright light. "Novaforce Stardust Dragon let's rev it up!" White Dragon Mask called out as Novaforce Stardust Dragon emerged from the light, taking the left Extra Deck Monster Zone.
Novaforce Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 8.
Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon began roaring at the sight of Stardust, who roared back at him. "Those two still look like they hate each other''. Azure commented, watching the two dragons roaring at each other. "After this Duel, let's find out why they don't like each other. Excode Talker's ability boosts Stardust's ATK Points!" White Dragon Mask called out as Stardust Dragon powered up thanks to Excode Talker's ability.
Novaforce Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500 + 500 = 3000.
"Now to find an Action Card". White Dragon Mask said as he started jumping across the platforms, searching for an Action Card. "Not on my watch!'' Black Dragon Mask stated as he took flight to try to stop his opposite from finding an Action card. However, White Dragon Mask spotted one and quickly grabbed it, before avoiding his rival's attempt to tackle him.
"I play the Action Card, Extreme Sword!" White Dragon mask exclaimed as the Spell appeared in front of him. "This increases Novaforce Stardust Dragon's ATK Points by 1000, making him stronger than your Deadstar!" White Dragon Mask explained as a white aura surrounded Novaforce Stardust Dragon, powering him up.
Novaforce Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 3000 + 1000 + 4000.
"Now Stardust, attack Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon! Shining Cosmic!" White Dragon Mask commanded, pointing at Deadstar as Novaforce Stardust Dragon began gathering energy for his breath attack. "Not so fast! Reveal Trap card, Impenetrable Attack!" Black Dragon Mask called out as his face down card revealed itself.
"This Trap has two options, either preventing my monster's destruction, or preventing me from taking damage!" The Emperor of the Black Dragon explained, before his Trap fired a beam that formed a force field around Deadstar. "I choose to prevent my monster's destruction!'' Black Dragon Mask exclaimed, making his choice as Stardust unleashed his breath attack at Deadstar, creating an explosion.
"You may have prevented your monster's destruction, but not the damage!" White Dragon Mask stated as Black Dragon Mask's Life Points went down. (4000 – 3000 = 1000)
Black Dragon Mask Life Points: 1600 – 1000 = 600.
However, it was then that Black Dragon Mask spotted an Action Card, making him smirk before he grabbed it. "I activate the Action Card, Big Escape! This ends the Battle Phase!" Black Dragon Mask called out as the Action card appeared, before unleashing a shockwave that pushed Excode and Powercode Talker back.
Novaforce Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 4000 - 1000 = 3000.
"Shock! If we had attack one of the two dragons, we would have won. But…I guess we'll have to wait for our victory''. Azure remarked, taking a sigh. "Playmaker will end this next turn. I set 2 cards and end my turn!" White Dragon Mask cried out as two face down cards appeared on his field.
Varis Life Points: 600/ Number of cards in hand: 5.
"Get ready! It's my turn!" Varis called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, before it disappeared. Varis held his hands out as he had a pleased look on his face. "At last, all the preparations for our victory are complete". Varis said with a smirk on his face, before looking over his shoulder as Black Dragon Mask landed behind him. "You've done well to make the preparations for our victory successful. Well done". Varis praised his brother, who gave him a smirk. "Finish this''. Black Dragon Mask told his brother, who nodded to him, before he turned to face his opponents.
"Playmaker, White Dragon Mask, Azure, Dark Ignis! Your efforts to stop us have all been for nothing! You will now be defeated by my greatest monster that was the last gift from my father!" Varis called out with an emotional voice as he remembered when he received his last gift from his father.

Inside the Knight of Hanoi's base, Varis stood 10 feet away from Dr. Kogami, who had his back to his son. "What did you need to see me for?" Varis asked his father, who remained silent as he kept his hands folded behind his back. For a few moments, he didn't speak, but soon, he spoke. "The Tower of Hanoi will be ready to deploy soon. I figured since our time together is almost up, I'd give you one last present as a father". Dr. Kogami told his son as he turned around to face him. Dr. Kogami held up his right hand as data started to gather above his hand. "I've been working on this for 5 years now, and have recently completed it. I want you to have this, not as a weapon to use against the Ignis, but as an early birthday present". Dr. Kogami explained to his son as the data formed into a floating card, facing the doctor so Varis wouldn't see it.
Dr. Kogami held out his hand as the card floated to Varis, who grabbed the card with his right hand's index and middle fingers. Varis turned the card to see what it is, before his eyes widened in shock and disbelief. "T-This is…?!" Varis said in shock and disbelief at what he was holding in his hand, getting the creator of the Ignis to nod towards him. "Indeed. It's my second greatest creation. Something that will always protect you. Treat it well''. Dr. Kogami told his son, getting Varis to look up and nod to him as he grew a smile on his face.

A digital tear appeared in Varis' right eye and fell down his cheek, before it disappeared. "This monster is unlike anything you've faced before! It's a creation that far surpass my Borreload Dragon and every other creature I command! This monster…is a Link-5 monster!" Varis cried out to the heavens, making Playmaker, White Dragon Mask, Ai and Azure widen their eyes in shock at what he said. "A Link-5!?" All of them called out in shock and disbelief at Varis' words. Black Dragon Mask, on the other hand, smirked at seeing his brother finally unleashing his greatest beast. 'At last I can see Varis' Link 5 monster'. Black Dragon Mask thought to himself with a smirk on his face.
"Did Varis just say he will Summon a Link-5 monster?" Playmaker questioned in disbelief, having never thought his rival had a secret weapon like this. "He's gotta be bluffing". Ai remarked with a nervous look, trying very hard not to believe Varis' words. "I don't think he's bluffing. Get ready guys!" White Dragon Mask told his comrades, his wings already spread out to take flight at any moment. "We're about to face something we've never faced before!" Azure said as he held up his fists and spread his wings out.
"Now manifest, my Circuit!" Varis called out as the Link portal in the sky above the Master Field. "The conditions are three Effect Monsters! I set Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon, Twin Triangle Dragon, Quadborrel Dragon in the Link Arrows!" Varis called out as the three dragons turned into black tornadoes.
Both Quadborrel and Twin Triangle Dragon split into two tornadoes, before all of them entered the Top, Left, Right, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right Link Arrows, causing a burst of energy to come out of the Link portal and slam into the ground, creating a powerful whirlwind of energy that forced Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and their partners to cover their eyes.
"What…power!" Playmaker remarked as even his Excode Talker and Powercode Talker were being pushed back by the powerful winds. "All this just from Summoning it?" Ai questioned in shock as the powerful winds even blew the Action Cards away. "The Action cards!" White Dragon Mask called out in shock at seeing the Action cards get blown away. "They won't help us now!" Azure remarked, using his wings to cover his face. "Mighty dragon, come forth and obliterate our enemies! I Link Summon! Link-5! Borrelend Dragon!" Varis cried out as the burst of energy cleared to reveal the Link-5 monster. It looked like a 3 headed Borreload Dragon, only way bigger and has this presence that screams out 'powerful!' The three headed dragon roared, creating a powerful shockwave.
Borrelend Dragon ATK Points: 3500/ Link: 5/ Link Arrows: Top, Left, Right, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right.
"Holly crap, look at that thing!" Ai cried out at seeing Borrelend Dragon, who towered over Novaforce Stardust Dragon, Excode Talker and Powercode Talker with the three monsters looking up at the bigger dragon in shock. "Now I've seen a lot of monsters in my life, but that thing takes the cake". White Dragon Mask commented, looking up at the Link-5 in shock.
"And it probably ate it, to". Playmaker commented, looking up at the Link-5 Borrelend Dragon with wide eyes of disbelief. "What's worse, we don't know its abilities. It's like we're fighting blindly". Azure remarked, looking at Varis and Black Dragon Mask with the two looking smug.
"Hahaha! This is the end for you, Playmaker, White Dragon Mask, Dark Ignis and Azure! Borrelend Dragon, attack Excode Talker!" Varis commanded, pointing at the green Cyberse-Type monster. The three heads of Borrelend Dragon began gathering energy for energy blasts. "Can we panic now?" Ai questioned, staring up at the Link-5 with wide eyes of panic. "No! We still got this, the Trap, White Copy Trap!" White Dragon Mask called out as his face down card revealed itself. The image showed White Dragon – Trick Claw facing a Trap card, while holding a copy of the same Trap.

"This Trap allows me to sneak a Trap from your Graveyard and use it as our own! So I'll be using your Enchanted Javelin!" White Dragon Mask explained as his Trap transformed into Chanted Javelin, before it glowed as White Dragon Mask and Playmaker's Life Points went up.
White Dragon Mask Life Points: 1100 + 3500 = 4600.
Borrelend Dragon fired three blasts from its heads at Excode Talker, creating a powerful explosion that obliterated the green armored monster. (3500 – 2300 = 1200)

Novaforce Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 3000 – 500 = 2500.
"What power!" Azure remarked as the force of the explosion forced White Dragon Mask and Playmaker to shut their eyes. "At least it's over''. Ai commented, only for Black Dragon Mask to laugh at him. "Over? It's not over yet! Borrelend Dragon can attack all your monsters!" Black Dragon Mask explained with a smirk, making White Dragon Mask grit his teeth. "Just great". The White Dragon Emperor remarked as he spread his wings and took flight to search for an Action Card.
"We'll let you guys figure this one out, while we take cover as that thing attacks again". Ai said as he retracted into his partner's Duel Disk and returned to eye form. "Very wise". Azure remarked as he returned to eye form as well. "Two can play at that game!" Black Dragon Mask exclaimed as he flew after his opposite. "Go Borrelend Dragon, attack Powercode Talker!" Varis commanded his dragon, who fired three more blasts from its head at Powercode Talker, creating another explosion that destroyed the Cyberse-Type monster. (3500 – 2300 = 1200)
White Dragon Mask Life Points: 3400 – 1200 = 2200.
The force of the explosion made White Dragon Mask stop mid-air, allowing Black Dragon Mask to pass him and grab an Action Card near the edge of the platform. "Catch!" Black Dragon Mask called out as he threw the Action Card at Varis, who caught it with his left hand's index and middle fingers.
Varis looked at the Action Card and smirked. "I play the Action Card, Full Turn!" Varis called out as the Action Card disappeared from his fingers, before reappearing on his field. "This turn, all battle damage is doubled!" Varis explained with a smirk, making Playmaker grit his teeth with narrowed eyes.
"Now Borrelend, attack Novaforce Stardust Dragon!" Varis commanded his Link-5 for the third time, who obeyed and fired three more blasts at Novaforce Stardust Dragon, destroying the leader of the White Dragons, as well as blowing White Dragon Mask and Playmaker away. (3500 – 2500 = 1000 X 2 = 2000)
White Dragon Mask Life Points: 2200 – 2000 = 200.
Both White Dragon Mask and Playmaker slammed into the ground with Playmaker on his stomach and White Dragon Mask on his back. "Well, that was fun". Azure commented as he emerged from his partner's Duel Disk. "How about we don't do that again". Ai suggested, staying in his partner's Duel Disk in eye form. "Agreed. He wiped out our field with just one monster". Playmaker agreed with his partner as he and White Dragon Mask got back on their feet. "Not completely". White Dragon Mask remarked, getting Playmaker to look at him with slightly wide eyes.
"That shall be enough for now. I'll play a face-down and end my turn". Varis said as a face-down card appeared on his field. "At this moment, I activate the effect of White Dragon – Stubborn Guardna!" White Dragon Mask called out, holding up a card that showed a cybernetic white drake with black eyes and silver claws.

The cybernetic dragon appeared on the field, before starting to dig a hole in the ground. "If a Dragon-Type monster I control is destroyed, I can Summon this card, then Summon back the destroyed monster! So rise up once more, Novaforce Stardust Dragon!" White Dragon Mask explained as the ground around the hole shattered, before Novaforce Stardust Dragon reappeared and took a defense stance.
Novaforce Stardust Dragon DEF Points: 2000/ Level: 8.
"Now, I play my other Trap!" White Dragon Mask declared as his last face-down card revealed itself to be Stardust Mirage. "Stardust Mirage! Oh no!" Black Dragon Mask exclaimed in panic, remembering that card from a long time ago.
"Oh hell yes! With this Trap, if Stardust Dragon is on the field, which Novaforce Stardust Dragon counts as, all our monsters now come back to rejoin the party!" White Dragon Mask explained with a smirk as two mirrors appeared next to Novaforce Stardust Dragon, before Powercode Talker and Excode Talker came out of them. Powercode Talker took the far right zone, while Excode Talker was right under Borrelend Dragon, which its Link Arrow pointed towards the Link-5.
Borrelend Dragon ATK Points: 3500 + 500 = 4000.
Excode Talker ATK Points: 2300/ Link: 3/ Link Arrows: Left, Right and Top.
Powercode Talker ATK Points: 2300 + 500 = 2800/ Link: 3/ Link Arrows: Left, Right and Bottom.

Varis gritted his teeth at seeing this. "He waited for the right time to Summon back those monsters. If he Summoned them during the Battle Phase, I could have attacked them again!" Varis said with gritted teeth at how White Dragon Mask outsmarted him.
Playmaker Life Points: 200/ Number of cards in hand: 5.
"My turn now!" Playmaker called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, before looking at his teammate. "Mind if I borrow Stubborn Guardna?" Playmaker asked his teammate, who gave him the thumbs up. "Go ahead:. White Dragon Mask replied to his teammate, who smirked at him, before turning to face Borrelend Dragon.
"Here goes! I create the ultimate Circuit!" Playmaker called out as he held out his right hand to the sky, before the Link portal appeared. "I set White Dragon – Stubborn Guardna in the Link Arrows!" Playmaker called out as White Dragon – Stubborn Guardna turned into a white tornado that went into the bottom Link Arrow. "I Link Summon! Link-1! Link Disciple!" Playmaker cried out as Link Disciple appeared from the link portal, taking the left Extra Deck Monster Zone.
Link Disciple ATK Points: 500/ Link: 1/ Link Arrows: Bottom.
"Why stop at one, when you can do two? I create the ultimate Circuit once more!" Playmaker called out as the link portal appeared in the sky. "I set Excode Talker and Powercode Talker in the Link Arrows!" Playmaker exclaimed as the two Cyberse-Type monsters turned into 4 tornadoes. Powercode became a red tornado, while Excode Talker became 3 green tornadoes. The tornadoes entered the Left, Right, Top and Bottom Link Arrows, causing a bright light to come out of the link portal.

"Appear now and ascend, Firewall Dragon!" Playmaker exclaimed as his ace monster flew out of the portal and into the air. Firewall Dragon's card was in the zone that Link Disciple was pointing at.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Ai called out in excitement as Firewall Dragon floated in front of Playmaker, getting Varis to look up at it. "Firewall Dragon. I remember losing to this dragon in our last Duel, but history won't repeat itself''. Varis remarked, staring up at the Link 4 monster that defeated him.

"I reveal the Trap, Spirit Barrier!" Varis called out as his face down card revealed itself. 'That Trap will keep his Life Points safe as long as he controls a monster. I gotta get rid of it'. White Dragon Mask thought to himself as he moved his right hand to Novaforce Stardust Dragon's card.
"Don't! He's baiting you!" Azure told his partner, getting White Dragon Mask's attention. "I looked at Borrelend Dragon's effect! It's a Quick Effect and he'll activate it after you try to use Stardust's effect! Not only will it permanently negate Stardust's effect, he'll get to bring back a Rokket monster!" Azure explained to his partner, making him widen his eyes.
"But I can use Stardust's effect to negate Borrelend Dragon's effect and lower its ATK Points". White Dragon Mask replied to his partner, who shook his head. "That won't work. Borrelend Dragon can't be targeted by monster effects". Azure told his partner, making him grit his teeth, along with getting Playmaker and Ai's attention.
"Huh!? That means Firewall Dragon's effect is useless as well! That was our last hope!" Ai screamed out in terror, thinking that they lost their last chance. "Calm down! Our victory is assured the moment Firewall came into play!" Azure told his friend, getting White Dragon Mask, Playmaker and Ai's attention. Azure raised his hands into the air as he was covered in a white flaming aura. "Blaze! Raven! Carla! Wendy! Yuna! Lead me your power!" Azure called out to his fellow special Ignis, getting Ai, White Dragon Mask and Playmaker curious on what he was doing.

Meanwhile in the real world, inside of the house that Ash and the girls were staying at, the Bracelet Girls, Rose and Saya, were sitting down on the couch, watching the TV that showed their friends' Tag Duel against Varis and Black Dragon Mask. Their Duel Disks were on the table, allowing the remaining special Ignis, plus the Child Ignis to watch the duel as well.
The female Ignis heard their lover call for them, making them narrow their eyes as they emerged from their Duel Disks. "That's our cue". Carla stated as she crossed her claws. "What we're about to do is risky". Wendy stated, looking a bit worried. "We'll be fine. We just need to believe it'll work". Raven told her fellow Ignis, having complete faith.
The Bracelet girls, Rose, Saya and Velvet looked at the 5 female Ignis, wondering what they're talking about. "What are you five talking about?" Rose asked, her focus split between the Duel and the five Ignis. "My brother needs our power for something that grant him and Ai victory". Blaze explained to her partner, turning to look at the screen of the TV.
"If you'll excuse us, we need to give a helping hand". Yuna said, before she and the other female Ignis went back into the Duel Disks, but their eye forms weren't there anymore, indicating that they left the devices. "Velvet, do you know what they're talking about?" Saya asked her partner, who shook her eye in response, having no idea what the older ignis are planning.

Back at the Duel, five spheres of light appeared in the sky, getting everyone's attention. "Now what?!" Black Dragon Mask questioned angrily, using his right hand to cover his eyes from the light. The five spheres disappeared to reveal Blaze, Yuna, Wendy, Raven and Carla floating up in the air. "We're here!" Yuna announced, getting Azure's expression to light up a bit, before he held up his claws to the sky.
"Partner, Playmaker, Ai, no matter what I ask, please trust me?" Azure requested, getting confused looks from the three mentioned. The female Ignis were all covered in flaming auras with different colors. Blaze's aura was red, Yuna's aura was pink, Carla's aura was indigo, Raven's aura was purple and Wendy's aura was green.
The six Ignis all unleashed beams from their auras towards the sky. They all clashed, creating a bright light. "Ai, transfer your power!" Azure told his friend, who still looked confused. "But what are you guys doing?" Ai asked his friend, wanting to know what the White Dragon Ignis was trying to accomplish.
"It's simple. We're creating our own Link-5 monster!" Azure replied to his friend, making White Dragon Mask, Playmaker and Ai widen their eyes in surprise. "Say what!" White Dragon Mask called out in surprise at his partner's words. "But to do this, we need your help Ai. Lend us your power". Azure requested once more, getting a nod from Ai as he held out his hands to the bright light, releasing a black sphere.
The black sphere went towards the bright light, which was absorbed into it, causing the light to become even brighter. "Now, both of you perform a Link Summon at the same time!" Azure told his partner and Playmaker, getting them to look at him. "The same time?" White Dragon Mask questioned, making Azure nod at him.
"The last piece we need is the bond that the two of you have". Azure told the two humans, making Playmaker slightly widen his eyes. "Our bond?" Playmaker questioned in surprise, getting Azure to look at him. "You tried to hid it, but I could tell that you now see my partner and his friends as your friends now and trust them. That belief became stronger when you learned they went through what you went through. Playmaker, I ask you this, what is my partner to you?" Azure questioned the hero of LINK VRAINS, who looked at White Dragon mask, who gave him a reassuring smile.
Playmaker smiled back at his teammate, knowing what his answer is. "He's…my friend". Playmaker told the Dragon Ignis, who looked pleased. "Good answer". Azure said in a pleased tone that Playmaker sees his partner as his friend.
Both White Dragon Mask and Playmaker looked at each other, before they nodded to each other and held up their right hands. "Appear, the circuit of our bond!" White Dragon Mask and Playmaker called out as lightning came out of their heads, heading straight to the bright light, causing a bright flash, before a giant link portal appeared over the field.
"The conditions are 2 or more Link, Ritual, Fusion, Synchro or Xyz monsters! We set Firewall Dragon and Novaforce Stardust Dragon in the Link Arrows!" White Dragon Mask and Playmaker called out in perfect harmony. The two dragons unleashed mighty roars, before they flew up into the portal. The Left, Right, Bottom Left, Bottom and Bottom Right Link Arrows light up as a powerful roar came from inside the portal.
"This…can't be happening!?'' Varis called out in disbelief, having thought his Borrelend Dragon was the only Link-5 in the world. "Apparently, it is happening". Black Dragon Mask stated, staring up at the giant Link portal in shock. "We Link Summon! Link-5! Firewall Stardust Dragon!" White Dragon Mask and Playmaker cried out as a beam of pure energy came out of the link portal, slamming into the ground in front of Borrelend Dragon, before it cleared to reveal the combined form of Firewall Dragon and Novaforce Stardust Dragon.
The new monster had the body of Novaforce Stardust Dragon, only with parts of Firewall Dragon. Its wings were now releasing blue cybernetic energy, the circles that Firewall had on its arms, legs, tail and head now attached to this new monster. It had some of Firewall Dragon's armor and blue marks on its body and had Novaforce Stardust Dragon's eyes. It's even grew much bigger, easily the same size as Borrelend Dragon. The new dragon unleashed a powerful roar.

For each Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Monster in either players' graveyards, this card gains 500 ATK Points. If this card fails to destroy a monster, remove that monster from play. "Impossible! Another Link 5!?" Varis called out in shock, staring up at the Cyberse-Type monster facing his Link 5 monster. "It gets worse!" Ai and Azure called out in perfect harmony. "For every Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link monster in our graveyards, Firewall Stardust Dragon gains 500 ATK Points!" Playmaker and White Dragon Mask explained together, causing Varis and Black Dragon Mask to widen their eyes in shock.
"Borreload Furious Dragon, Black Dragon – Hellfire Comet Dragon, Borreload Savage Dragon, Quadborrel Dragon, Twin Triangle Dragon, Topologic Zeroboros and Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon. 500 X 7 equals 3500!" Varis calculated in shock as the spirits of all seven dragons appeared above him and Black Dragon Mask.
"Cyberse Witch, Cyberse Magician, Cyberse Enchanter, Five-Headed Dragon, Cyberse Clock Dragon, Stardust Charge Warrior, Code Talker, Excode Talker, Transcode Talker, Powercode Talker, Novaforce Stardust Dragon and Firewall Dragons. 12 X 500 equals 6000! Combine that with 3500 ATK Points makes 9500 ATK Points!" Black Dragon Mask exclaimed in shock as the spirits of White Dragon Mask and Playmaker's monsters appeared above the two.
All the sprits charged towards Firewall Stardust Dragon, powering him up as a rainbow aura covered his body.
Firewall Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 3000 + 9500 = 12500.
"12500 ATK Points!?" Varis and Black Dragon Mask called out in disbelief, staring at the dragon that towered over their own. "Go Firewall Stardust Dragon! Attack Borrelend Dragon! Tempest Cosmic Flare!" Playmaker, Ai, White Dragon Mask and Azure called out, all of them holding their right hand out.
Firewall Stardust Dragon gathered energy for a breath attack, absorbing the cybernetic energy that fell from his wings. The Link 5's wings started released red cybernetic energy as well. "Borrelend Dragon cannot be destroyed in battle and thanks to Spirit Force, our Life Points are safe!" Varis called out with a smirk on his face, still feeling confident that he and Black Dragon Mask will survive.
"Firewall Stardust Dragon's ability allows it to remove any monster it fails to destroy from play! Meaning your Borrelend Dragon is going bye-bye!" Playmaker, Ai, White Dragon Mask and Azure explained, making Varis widen his eyes as Firewall Stardust Dragon unleashed his breath attack, obliterating Borrelend Dragon, as well as destroying a few buildings in the distance.
Black Dragon Mask gritted his teeth in anger. "Even if Borrelend Dragon is gone, all you have is Link Disciple! It only has 500 ATK Points, while we have 600! Meaning we'll survive this turn!" Black Dragon Mask cried out, holding onto hope that the Duel won't end in their defeat.
"Firewall Stardust Dragon's ability activates! Once a turn, we can select any monster in the graveyard and Special Summon it to our field!" Playmaker, Ai, White Dragon Mask and Azure explained, making Varis and Black Dragon Mask widen their eyes.
Together, all four held up their right hand as the cybernetic energy that fell from Firewall Stardust Dragon's wings came together and formed a tornado of cybernetic energy. "Appear, Firewall Dragon!" Playmaker, Ai, White Dragon Mask and Azure called out as the tornado of cybernetic energy cleared to reveal Playmaker's ace monster, Firewall Dragon, who spread his wings out and roared.
Firewall Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Link: 4/ Link Markers: Left, Right, Bottom and Top.
Firewall Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 12500 - 500 = 12000.
"This…can't be!" Black Dragon Mask exclaimed in disbelief that he and his brother were about to fail their father. "It's all over, Varis and Black Dragon Mask! YOU'VE LOST! NOW FIREWALL DRAGON, TEMPEST ATTACK!" Playmaker, Ai, White Dragon Mask and Azure called out as they held out their right hands.
Firewall Dragon's blue colour changed to red as it wings came together, unleashing a red blast from its mouth at the two Kogami brothers, blasting them off their feet.
Varis and Black Dragon Mask Life Points: 600 – 2500 = 0000.

Playmaker, Ai, White Dragon Mask and Azure watched as Firewall Dragon's attack created an explosion, causing a bright light that covered the top of the tower, even the two heroes of LINK VRAINS from view, and the fate of LINK VRAINS.

The camera showed a statute of a marvel warrior in an old coliseum, holding up the sky with his two hands, blocking out the sun and causing sun beams to shower the top of his head.
"My life is like detestably bad graffiti".
"But when you looked at me, I felt I wasn't alone".
The screen changed to show Yusaku, Ash and Rose kneeling down inside a tunnel with a halo of light shining from the entrance and there was graffiti on the walls, showing different words, including "Shinning Draw" and Synchro". Yusaku was kneeling down on the right, Ash was kneeling on the left and Rose was in between the two with all three duelists' shadows being their Ignis partners in the same postures as them.
The screen zoomed out a bit, before a data stream went over the screen and cleared, showing the other side of the tunnel, only Lulu, Rin, Celina and Zuzu were there with a halo of light shining from the exit. This tunnel had graffiti as well like at the entrance, only it had the words "Contact Fusion" and "Pendulum" in purple and rainbow coloured writing. Lulu was leaning her back against the right wall with her hands folded in front of her lap, Rin was in a similar position on the left wall, only she had her hands folded behind her head and right left pressed against the wall. Celina was sitting down on front of Lulu with her arms and legs crossed, while Zuzu sat down on her knees with her hands gently placed on them. Like with the others, their Ignis partners were their shadows' reflections in the same positions. Another data stream went over the screen, returning it back to the entrance of the tunnel as Ash, Yusaku and Rose all stood up and looked to their sides with Rose looking forward.
"I'm glad that I'm alive, I truly am".
"What I couldn't say before, I can say now".
A stream of data went over the scenery behind them, changing it to a roman coliseum with three statues behind them and the sun shining down from above. Suddenly, the coliseum changed to a network version of itself with holograms of Kolter and Jin appearing as crystal sharp images, reflected against the mirrored buildings behind them. Kolter was on the left building, looking determine to save his brother, while Rin was on the right, in a comatose like state holding his knees, not saying a word and still to traumatized to move.
Kolter and Jin's holograms changed to show Pikachu and Yusei with the Electric-Mouse having a longing look on his face, while Yusei had a determine face to represent his desire to find his children. Their holograms changed to Shay and Akiza with the Raidraptor Duelist frowning down at his right fist, while the former Black Rose Witch had a sad look as she missed her children greatly. The screen suddenly speeds up and changes into pixelated prisms, almost like a screen with the light continuously moving upward.
"Within the sadness that I kept holding down".
The prisms cleared to reveal a blue digital-like world with ones and zeros constantly flashing. In this world, there was a hologram of Varis on the right, facing the left with a determined look, while Specter was on the right, looking serious with his arms folded behind himself, looking at something across the network. Black Dragon Mask was flying in between the two, staring forward with gritted teeth to represent his desire to defeat his rival. Behind all three of them was Dr. Kyogami with his hands at his hips and lab coat blowing in the breeze as a bright white pillar was behind him. There were blue, purple red green and yellow small beams gathering around the pillar of light as Varis and Specter drew closer to one another and to Black Dragon Mask.
"There were fragments of power".
"No one can take away my light to the future".
The screen changed to show 3 split screens with different coloured background, rosy red, light blue and silvery white with three rainbow coloured stars falling down from above. In the left screen, the star fell past images of Shay, Leo, Luna, Zion, Maleficent and Clara, who all looked at the falling star as it passed them. In the middle screen, the light passed through images of Cal, Gore, Skye, Akira and Emma, who stared at the star as it passed them. And finally at the right screen, the last light fell pass images of Pikachu, Delia, Yusei, Akiza, Shark and Rio, who all looked at the star as it passed them.
The three stars fell and stopped above the open hands of Rose, Yusaku and Ash with their Duel Disks and decks on, which all three grasped into their hands, causing bright white lights to flash out of them. The three slowly turned their hands over with the bright lights flashing over the screen, somehow changing them into their avatars Black Rose Dragon Mask, Playmaker and White Dragon Mask with their right hands still closed, but no bright lights emerging from within. The screens zoomed down to their Duel Disks, right at the orbs where the eye forms of Blaze, Ai and Azure appeared.
The three Ignis opened their eyes and generated three different coloured round circles, which shot out round orbs, before releasing fan-like shape energy, moving in a clockwise motion and released bright lights. The camera zoomed out to reveal Black Rose Dragon Mask, Playmaker and White Dragon Mask in separate split screens, holding their right fists to their hips and their left arms up in the air as their Duel Disks continued to release the same fan-like shape energy from before that spread out all around them. It then released a bright white light that blinded the screen completely.
"The chronicles of life only has a few lines".
The light cleared to reveal White Dragon Mask, Playmaker and Black Rose Dragon Mask riding their Duel Boards in LINK VRAINS in the Data Material wind over a water bridge connected to the city with their Duel Disks activated. Playmaker was flying in the middle, White Dragon Mask besides him on his right and Black Rose Dragon Mask on their left. They weren't alone as their second ace monsters, Decode Talker, White Dragon - Blue Link Dragon and Rose Dragon – Frozen Blue Rose were flying either besides, or behind them. The four flew through the Data Storm winds with their ace monsters, determined to duel and win.
"People I meet, my regrets - they're all like ultramarine diamonds to me".
The screen changed to first show a violet background with Purple Night flying in the with her arms spread out and her ace Link Monster, Lyrilusc - Convene Nightingale flying behind her. The screen changed to show a green background with Gore holding up his right fist with Gouki The Giant Ogre behind him with his sword in both hands. The screen changed once more to show a indigo background with Lunalight Dancer having her arms spread out as she danced with Lunalight Lynx Dancer crouched down behind her.
The camera changed to show a purple background with Ghost Gal sitting down, looking at the camera as she held up her Duel Disk and had Altergeist Primebanshee's card in her right hand's index and middle fingers with said monster behind her. Once again, the screen changed to show an icy green background with Green Witch facing the camera with, tilting her had up with her right hand with Windwitch - Fate Reverser besides her.
The screen changed once more to show a purple background with lighter purple beams coming out from it. Both Skye and Blue Angel formed a spinning circle with Saya and Pink Dragon Mask in between them. Blue Angel looked happy on the left side as she and Pink Dragon Mask fly besides one another, back to back. Skye had a curious expression on her face as she held a book in her arms, looking over her right shoulder at Saya, who gave her a gentle smile. The camera changed to show a pink background with Music Singer singing with Bloom Harmonist the Melodious Composer singing besides her. The purple background then released another bright light that blinded the screen.
"You've always confront loneliness by yourself".
The light cleared to reveal Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask flying through the city of LINK VRAINS on their Duel Boards, passing through underneath a bridge with their second ace monsters behind them, only now their real aces, Firewall Dragon, Novaforce Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon were among them. Playmaker flew in the middle with his aces behind him, White Dragon Mask was on the right with his dragons behind him and Black Rose Dragon Mask on the left with her aces right on her tail.
"I bet we can now laugh together, forever and ever".
The three duelists faced forward with determined faces as their true aces, Firewall Dragon, Novaforce Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon leaned their heads closer to their owners with all of them ready to duel and win. Ai, Azure and Blaze stared up at their partners in their eyes forms as they continued to soar through the skies. However, sunshine caught their attention as they looked over at the source.
"Lighting Life with our invisible bond".
The three heroes of LINK VRAINS all flew towards the sunset on their Duel Boards over the city of LINK VRAINS on the Data Material wind with their ace monsters right besides them, heading towards the tomorrow and the battles that awaited them.
I hope you all enjoyed it and I didn't disappoint anyone. Next chapter is where Ash and the girls return home and the return of characters from the past Yu-Gi-Oh series. Also, next chapter is a battle royal between the Yugioh Heroes of each series, including Ash, so I might need some help for that and how to do the duel. One last thing, I'm working on my Maleficent crossover and getting close to finishing it, so all Maleficent fans, be patient just a bit longer.
