Waves of steam rose up in the small bathroom that Louis found himself in. Having been given this room after requesting time to himself. A good shower is what he needed, and for a moment he took the time to gather his thoughts...and simply let his mind wander. He was in a new world—a new universe—one of the worst as the proclaimed "god" of the Mechanicum...

He stood in the shower letting the hot water run over him, feeling it ebb away at the weariness and pain he felt in his body, It was then that realization came to him.

Bile rose up in his throat, and Louis could not contain it vomiting the food that the tech priests had given him down the drain. Everything was wrong... so very wrong, His family, His friends...his love. He had died. And now he was in a universe where he would die an even more horrific death if he did not play his cards right. Louis slowly collapsed to the floor of the shower tucking his knees close to his chest. A racking sob echoing from his body. Why was he brought here.. for what purpose, Thousands of thoughts went through his mind...yet one fact remained. He had to survive.

Slowly the man rose to his feet, washing himself off and quickly turning off the water, He grabbed a towel stepping out of the shower, and after a moment he approached the mirror situated beside it.

Standing in front of the mirror, he slowly wiped the steam away to get a good look over himself. Messy ear-length dirty blond hair, an angular face with the starting of a beard. Yet one thing stood out... and it made sense as to why they saw him as their god. His eyes... instead of the bluish green he would have associated his character to actually have, instead they showed an interconnected light blue glow surrounding the main sclera, and as he gazed into his pupil. He could see bright energy swirling around it, reminding him of...

Louis in a panicked motion quickly backed away from the mirror, slipping on the tiled floor, His head hitting the backwall causing his vision to flash for a moment. His heart beat rapidly in his chest, He tried to reign in his emotions... yet could not. "W-what was that" He mumbled out climbing to his feet. Grasping his head for a moment, a wave of pain and dizziness took over. Louis steadied himself against the wall and waited for it to pass, and for his vision to clear.

Knock, knock

Louis quickly calmed his beating heart. He refrained from gazing into the mirror again and exited the bathroom to get dressed. He would worry about that another time. Right now he had bigger issues.

"You may enter," Louis spoke from the dresoriu- the dresser quickly tying a bow tie around his neck. That was when he heard the metal door slide open. Glancing over to it, he watched as Elvira cautiously entered the room. She stopped a few feet from him before kneeling.

"M-my lord, The fabricator general wishes your audience... if you are willing."

"Ah..yes. Tell him that I am, and I told you this before, You do not have to kneel to me Elvira" Louis approached the woman gently grabbing onto her arm, he would then lift her to her feet. "You are my advisor, and my guide. Your presence is reverence enough to me". Louis quickly rolled up the sleeves of his dress shirt and buttoned the main three buttons on his vest. He then reached over to the nightstand by the bed, grabbing a pair of Mechanics goggles and clasping them around his neck. Finally, he slipped on a pair of boots, standing up soon after.

"I assume it's for the review of the technological progress that you all have done," Louis questioned, approaching the woman. Elvira raised her head and stood to her full height. However, the worry was still palpable on her face. "That...and a discussion. Yet the fabricator general refused to inform me on what it is. only saying that he requested your presence."

Louis raised an eyebrow at this for a moment. He then ran a hand through his hair, scratching an itch. Vigdis was currently being pampered by a few of the tech priests. "That cube, honestly pushing my buttons a bit too hard today," he thought, adjusting his bowtie for a moment, so he would have to do this alone, it seems... well, not truly alone. "You are going to be in the meeting as well, Elvira; you are my Advisor." His tone had a sense of finality to it. No room for argument.

Elvira gave a brief nod, accepting his order. "Yes, Omnis-."

"Louis"

"l-Louis" Elvira squeaked out in slight fear. The man let out a sigh of annoyance. He knew it would take a while before Elvira got comfortable saying his name. Granted, A god telling their worshiper to refer them by their first name is something suprising.

"Then let's get this show on the road.!" The man spoke with an excited tone of voice, yet Elvira simply tilted her head in confusion. "My lord..what is a show?"

"I will explain it to you later on, Elvira. Let's just get to the meeting room. I am sure the fabricator general has waited long enough." Saying this, Louis quickly walked through the door leading out into the expansive hallway decorated with sigils and other types of tapestries, Elvira following close behind a tiny bit panicked at his rushing.

"Oh, my lord, wait for me!"

Navigating through the labyrinthine mess of Olympus Mons would have been a hell of a headache for Louis had Elvira not been his guide. Yet everything he had seen so far did not make any sense... and would also make every Osha member in existence cry out in absolute horror before dying from a stress-induced heart attack, the pollution, the sparks, and the sounds of metal being grinded and molded together.

A cacophony of noise that would have deafened any normal man... yet Louis was fine.

He did not want to question it and filed it back in his mind for later. Maybe have Vigdis do a vital scan on him. He listened to how Elvira rambled on about the history of the temple, this was the largest forge temple on Mars. Which is called a forge world. It was also the place where the acting fabricator general ruled... Speaking of which, he needed to request the name of the techpriest.

This place was also home to the temple of all knowledge, a giant church dedicated to the omnissiah, which also functioned as a storage space for... well, all knowledge accumulated by the priests throughout the years.

He can't exactly go around constantly calling him general or fabricator general. Too much of a mouthful, and it would make things much simpler if he simply asked.

Slowly the "god" and his guide weaved their way through the large forge, and occasionally Louis would receive praise from the working techpriests. To which he reciprocated with kindness. Thankfully no one stopped them on their trek, simply going back to their work..if only more fervently.

"Thank fucks, I did not want to deal with them today," he thought for a moment. Despite this, he had to hand it to the techpriests; they were dedicated to their craft. Yet he noticed they were working with even more fervor and gusto.

"You have blessed this area with your presence; your glorious light gives life to the machines in this place," Elvira spoke out in reverence towards Louis. The man listened to this and simply smiled. Despite how annoying it was, the constant worship. He was somewhat proud of them, seeing the techpriests working hard even before he entered the area.

"Let us make haste; I do not want to distract them too much, Elvira."

At this, the techpriestess picked up her pace. An apology echoing from her.

After a... Well, the man did not really know how much time had passed; they eventually reached a gigantic pair of Oaken doors preserved for ages upon ages, engraved with the symbol of the Mechanicum. And slowly the both opened to show a large, grand cathédrale-like office. And at the back, attached to a large machine, jumbles of wires, servos, and motors connected to him sat the fabricator general.

A smaller version of him, the one he recognized from a day ago, approached the man kneeling in reverence. Louis now realized that it was essentially a heavily modified Servoskull on a robotic frame that the fabricator general controlled. "I apologize to you, my lord, but this is a matter of urgency, and I, Raskain, your humble servant, ask for your guidance." The Servo skull looked up to see Elvira standing beside the man, nervousness palpable from her.

"She is my personal guide and assistant. Wherever I go, she follows." Louis could see the Servo skull "blink." He then heard Oud speak one more. Thank god, he did not have to ask the general his name. "If you allow it, my lord...then there is no issue." The servo robot vocalized, he then gestured to a table in front of the fabricator general. Louis gave a brief nod, approaching it and taking a seat, with Elvira standing behind him.

Elvira herself was visibly terrified. She had only been an acolyte for two lunar cycles... and now she was in a meeting between the omnissiah and the fabricator general. She felt like she was about to faint due to the stress... yet she remained upright and silent.

"Now then... Oud, what is the issue that you wanted to meet me for?" Louis leaned forward, clasping his hands together in contemplation. The servo robot remained silent for a moment. Then, after a bit more time, the general spoke through it. "It is very harrowing news, my Lord. It... it will worry you."

"Oud, there is just news; there is no good or bad... I am sure it will be fine-" Louis could hear the worried tone of voice, even from the heavily mechanical voice of Oud, yet he knew that whatever the Fabricator general said next would not be too bad.

"The imperium of man has discovered that you, Omnissiah, walk among us, and they wish to meet you in person."

"And i spoke to FUCKING SOON!"Louis thought as he froze for a moment processing what the inspector general told him. Eventually he moved his hands off of the table, staring at Oud. "That... that is bad news."
