"WHAT!? THAT'S YOUR PLAN?!" I yelled. I couldn't believe what he had just said...Tom...said he had a plan for him...but this was absurd.
"Star once the darkness takes over you...there's no coming back and even if he somehow was able to regain his old self...he wouldn't be the same letting Eclipsa have him...she may be the only one that can heal him and if that doesn't work than i doubt he would stay by her side for long"
"TOM...YOU'RE USING HIM AS A FAIL SAFE!?...ENCASE WE FAIL TO REGAIN THE THRONE SO WE LEAVE HIM WITH HER TO EVENTUALLY OVERTHROW HER" he looked down with a somber look on his face
"You think i want to leave him behind...what other option do we have...killing him?!...bringing him here so he can be a threat to us and everyone most importantly YOU?!...star we have to make hard decisions...happy endings aren't a reality star...we're only looking out for you're well being. Like it or not you ARE the next queen of Mewni and with that your safety is our priority" I bolted up and slammed my fist on the table with pure anger. My entire life i was always told what to do and how to do it...Marco was the only one that allowed me to...be me...and I'll be damned if im going to lose him to that waste of a butterfly.
"Then as you're queen I'M ORDERING US TO GO TO HOME, CAPTURE MEWNI, KILL ECLIPSA AND...try to save Marco...at least try" tears began to trickle down my face and on to the table.
"We leave tomorrow" I looked at my mom who walked up to me
" We regroup with the Red Suns and take back the throne from Mewni...but the moment Marco becomes a legitimate threat...i will not hesitate to kill him or leave is that understood?!" I nodded and she walked upstairs with tom to discuss the plan for tomorrow. I walked back into Marco's room. 'A threat...why would he be a threat?' I mean i get he's corrupted but that doesn't make you stronger. I got this feeling of...leaving just...taking a peek at Mewni...and maybe Marco. I know my mom would KILL me if i did it but she doesn't have to know. Now Tom is the real problem. I wrote a letter saying i went out with Janna and i texted Janna saying if anyone asks where i am just to say im with her. Her response was a usual and devil emoji and an OK. She wasn't the one to ask questions which at times like this i loved that about her. I pulled out Marco's dimensional scissors and i reminisce the places we went to...the fun we had with these scissors. I kissed them and opened the portal to Mewni...awaiting whatever has become of my home...and my Marco.

"The preparations for the assault were underway around 20,000 soldiers, 10,000 cavalry, couple of catapults, and i think 2,000 archers" I nodded towards Rosa who had been making last preparation checks for the assault. "Thank you Rosa i'll speak with the rest of the knights to see our next move for now get rest" She walked away but i could notice her hands were shaking a bit. 'You're anxious too huh...' i thought. I got up and headed to meet with the other knights. I hadn't seen them since we last fought Mewni, Lesa had kept in touch with them proposing we attempt one last assault with everything we had. Was it crazy yes, was it suicidal probably but...we all knew it was necessary, we understood the longer we wait the stronger she gets and so...it has to be done. I rubbed my eye and opened the door to the meeting. Lesa was sitting down alone with the hood covering her eyes.
"Where are the rest?" i asked sitting across from her. "They'll be back, checking some things first". I sat down across from her and looked at the cracked Red Sun that laid sideways in the front of the room. It remained silent, thoughts of the battle stained my mind. "You can still call things off" Lesa said looking at me. I glared at her, it was a low move to say that now of all times when preparations are basically done. "Really...you're saying that now of all times...i get it you're scared, trust me so am I but if we wish to destroy the current danger, to give Senaz even a glimpse of hope of returning...we need to act NOW we have set aside our fear, our doubts and put faith in that our actions will have an effect in the outcome of all this!" Lesa stood up slamming her fist on the table. "By what!? sending thousands to their deaths, what is that going to accomplish. It wont bring back Senaz and the only message it'll send is pure dominance...that the ruler of Mewni is absolute." Whether what she said was true or not...I had to do something...anything. She walked toward the sun and sighed. "I...think Senaz should stay gone..." shocked i looked at her and saw her with tears dripping down her face onto her cloth. " Senaz had its time, yea it prematurely ended, yea it never knew what peace was...but we were never bonded to Senaz we fought for peace whether it be for Senaz or Mewni...it should remain gone...we need to move on we have a chance to save Mewni whether we attack today or tomorrow or even years from now...Mewni is our home and we need to fight for it...the Red Suns...US!...WE HAVE TO STAND BY MEWNI!" I was speechless. Her words, her dedication. The look in her eye...was the look of someone on a mission. "Kalex you know im right, the other Knights agree too, we cant bring back an empire without her people. What we can do is avenge her, avenge our fallen Kingdom and stand by Star" Her words pierced me like a arrow... "Kalex i know the sacrifices you made, i know the mountain of corpses you stand on and the countless plans...even cheating death...just to bring her back but we can never bring our home back.." She grabbed my hand and placed on my chest and aggressively looked at me
"But we can make her pay for taking it from us" I looked into her eyes and all i saw was a flush of anger, determination and fear but at the time i couldn't tell whether they were her or my emotions. The other knights walked in. "Looked at who we found" I looked and saw someone i didn't think id see for awhile.
"Star...what are you doing here!?" She looked around the place. "Well you see...i kind of came just to take a peak at what was going on and found myself here...in what i assume is a rebellion force" Lesa walked over and hugged her. "Didn't think i'd see you so soon" Star embraced her. "I'm glad your ok Lesa" I turned towards Alex. "Is everything ready?" He nodded. I turned my head towards Lesa. What she said stuck with me, we don't the luxury of time but...if she thinks we can avenge our kingdom...i'll trust her. "We don't have time to wait to and...i understand senaz can never be brought back...so our objective has changed" Everyone looked at me...quiet but listening." Our original plan was to do as much damage as possible...to slow Queen Mewni down, now...we have a chance...I'll lead the Red Suns and the forces through the main gate we'll gain most of the attention while Lesa and Star sneak their way in" I turned towards star. "Marco is your only hope of beating Mewni and Eclipsa...you have to apprehend and get him back" Star looked down and sighed. "So...thats what happened to him..." I grabbed her hand and gripped it. "Don't falter or let your feelings diminish your determination, my home was taken by your ancestors...this battle isn't just to retake Mewni or to save Marco...ITS TO AVENGE MY PEOPLE, MY FATHER, MY SOLDIERS WHO LAID THERE TRUST IN THAT I WOULD BRING BACK OUR HOME" These words came from everyone that wasn't here to stand with me and i could slowly see stars somberness turn into determination. "This battle is as important to you as it is to me and I will do whatever is necessary to succeed...we're in over our heads here the odds are stacked against us...some of us in this room may not be here afterwards..." The room remained quiet. "But i don't think any of you are bothered by that fact...if you were you would have already left" The other knights grabbed their swords and raised them high "By the blood of our fallen and the light of our sun MAY THE RED SUN GUIDE US!" We all raised our sword and looked at one another"...my friends...my family...if this is our last battle...it was an honor to have lived beside you..." I looked at star and kneeled."And...to our rightful Queen..." The others joined soon after." We will fight for you until the end". Star flustered looked away. "Uh it-its ok you don't have to do that its ok...i'll make sure to get Marco back...and...i promise to take down Mewni" I nodded...those words coming from her are words that i never wanted to hear, Mewni...brought this upon herself. Everyone headed to their areas while Star went back home, we agreed today...would the day we attack, the day we put to rest the restless souls still searching for closure...the day...of the Red Suns finest hour
