Forest of Geno Outskirts of the City of Mewni
"So I won't be going with the main assault?" Kalex shook his head and point to a route that was only know by the local monster...a secret route to the castle.
"You're the only one that can match Mewni's power" I darted towards him and stuck my finger in his chest.
"Are you kidding me I barley escaped with my life last time I encountered her if anything you held your own pretty well for a human"
Kalex grabbed my hands
"You're the future of this land, whether you like or not you're precious cargo" He let go sat down in front of me. I understood it bothered him knowing I'd more than likely have to kill Mewni but she's way out of my league.
"I doubt Mewni will take part in the main assault so it'll just be you and her-"
"I'm going with her!" Tom glared at Kalex
"I'm not going to let her go in her own...can I please go with her" Kalex sighed and nodded
"You and that's it, keep low and sneak your way in and take her down...as well as retrieve Eclipsa and find out how to free the corrupted troops of Mewni and if we're lucky...we can free Marco too" Throughout all this I almost forgot Marco was on her side...unwillingly. I made it clear to them that I'd kill whoever gets in my way but...not him.
"He's more likely going to take part in the main assault, I've ordered my men to restrain from killing him...but if he becomes to much of a problem which he likely will...I have no choice star. My people are at stake here as your kingdom and the thousands of her Mewmans are counting on you...do not falter" He got up and went with the main forces to begin to prepare. I looked at the path I was taking know all to well...this could be the last time I see this...kalex...Lesa...my home.
Tom put his hand on my shoulder and stared at the Castle
"We'll get him back and the castle...then you both will get married and have kids and hopefully they resemble you and not him"
I chuckled. I never thought about marrying him, it'd be difficult after everything he's done but I have hope that if we save him...he'll eventually be able to forgive himself.
"Alright star let's go save your home" I nodded. This is our last chance to take back our home and free our people...everyone is important for this assault to succeed me, kalex, mom...everyone. I need to focus on my mission and mine alone...taking down the usurper Queen Mewni.

I glanced back and saw star and tom begin their part of the mission by going down the secret route.
"Alright precious cargo has left, it's up to all of us standing here to ensure that the light will shine on the Senaz Empire once again and the removal of Queen Mewni from the throne" Lesa stood next to me and held her sword high
"The Red Suns live on once more!" everyone cheered and raised their swords high. Queen Moon began to speak as well.
"I'm aware of the distrust the citizens have of the butterfly lineage and I am willing to relinquish my family from the royal seat...
but Queen Mewni must not remain...her goals are tainted by dark magic and the people that follow her do so unwillingly I only wish you set aside your feelings for each other whether Mewman or not and to help finish this conflict for good" The Army mixed with monsters fighting for equal rights, Mewmans for their families still in the castle and Us...Red Suns fighting for our home.
"O'ryan set up formations for the Assault!" He nodded and started call out. Queen Moon signaled to me.
"Where's Tom?"
"He requested to accompany star on her part of the assault they should be fine...i doubt Mewni will do a lot of harm to star if she does lose...she'll need leverage" Moon looked down and sighed.
"I'm just worried Kalex. If she's an obstacle in the main attack that could put your plan in jeopardy. I always have a plan B" I understood her concern. It's not impossible she could join the main defense but that would be unlikely.
"This assault has many issues with it but we don't have time to iron them all out. This plan was built upon the knowledge that none of could make it out but we are the only hope this land has of taking down Mewni" I pointed to the thousands of soldiers.
"Everyone. Every Man, Women and Monster is willing to fight for that small chance of victory...but when you and star showed up...their hope turned into determination with her we have a better chance. We have to trust she'll do her part and we must do ours" I picked up my sword and sheathed it on my back
"And hey...if she's their...we'll put up a fight" Moon sighed and nodded.
"Fine but if she's their...leave her to me"
"Ah Butterfly on Butterfly whenever im free i'll definitely watch but i'd rather worry about that Boy than her" Moon looked at me confused
"Marco?" I nodded. Marco...kid has a lot of knowledge of this place...more than i do. Star told me he had read almost every book in the castle library when he had the chance to keep im self busy even some not meant to be read. More so he has a connection with the land and its magic which is why im surprised dark magic can effect like it seems it has. As well as when Eclipsa tried to get him on her side which is something unconventional of her according to Mewni. Which explains why she didn't kill him...Eclipsa must've convinced her to let him live...but why.
"Yes...just trust me he's a lot more important to this than you think"
"Kalex Queen Moon their ready" O'ryan gave me the formation papers.
"Enemy forces have gather at the front gate with archers on the castle walls" I signaled Moon to with Lesa.
"Any sign of Queen Mewni or Marco"
"No...just Knights" Neither spotted I know Mewni wouldn't just put all of her trust into the soldiers.
"Whatever the case may be we ride now"
I got on my Horse and raised my sword to the soldiers in front of me.
"Today our actions will send ripples throughout the land. Whether we succeed or fail one thing will be true...the end of Queen Mewni's reign begins here. I turned my head to see the steep hill and open plains that lead the castle gate. The grass swayed, the shy dark with storms and the smell of metal and fire lingered around the prominent towers of Mewni. I looked at the enemy in front to see a hooded figure standing on a rock with the knights around it.
I swung my sword down.
""LET YOUR BRAVERY CARRY YOUR SWORD!" As we rode down the hill arrows and magics blasts whizzed at us hitting some especially those who didn't ride on horse. keeping my head low I peeked above my horse's head and saw a plethora of magic shards launched at us which cause wind the blow at high speeds...the hood had lifted and there they stood...strong...determined to defend their empire. Eyes filled with furry and sorrow.
Lesa riding next to me stared at them with shock.
"Shit!...is that..."
"Lesa! Keep your head down. We're about to make contact with the knights!"
This plan has its issues and flaws...and one of it...just made it self known...whoever star was going to fight was uncertain.
Because her target stood at the rocks leading her men into battle herself as a Queen should.
Moon morphed into her butterfly form and headed straight for her target.
Queen Mewni.

Rear of Mewni Castle
"You hear that too?" I stopped walking and let the abundance of noise take over my attention
"Yea...explosions that means the attack has started" Tom took my hand and looked at me.
"No matter what happens...I've got your back you're not fighting this alone let's kick her ass and save this land" I mustered up a smile and nodded.
"Thanks Tom...this whole plan relies on me succeeding. I'm glad you're here with me" I looked at Mewni Castle...my home...which she took from me and I was here to get it back. Tom pointed at the back balcony and signaled me.
"Can you get us up there, it'd be easier to start from the stop. I'm sure the security is weak because of the assault". I grabbed Tom's hand and blasted down aiming so the force got us on the balcony. Once we landed i realized it was my Mom's room, I got up looked around. It was dark and looked abandoned, webs and dust covered it.
I walked over to the night stand and picked up a picture of Mom and Dad when they were younger, i noticed a bulge under Mom's shirt. 'Must've been me'
A note fell from the picture and I picked it up and read it. Tom walked next to me and noticed what i was doing.
I'll be next to the door...when you're ready let me know" I nodded and began to read it.
" To Star; my beautiful princess, Hopefully I can show you this when you finally take the throne and become the great Queen Me and your Mother know you will become. It won't be easy and you will face hard times. Enemies will come and take but you must make sure you don't become what you fight. You will have to make friends with those you trust and with whom are willing to fight alongside you to the end. But it won't all be bad, you will see the new generation of your people grow in front of your eyes. They will think the world of their Queen. The wonders of magic is something your mother can elaborate on but you and I can go hunting and explore the world outside these walls. Whatever happens, even if the whole kingdom is against you...I will always be by your side as your Father... Love Richard". I didn't have any words nor thoughts about it. Tears began to well up as I folded the note and put it in my pocket. His Kingdom was collapsing and it was my fault, I failed the people as a princess and future Queen...but I won't let it happen again. I laid the picture down...he doesn't deserve to see his home like this...when it was finished...i'll come back and lift it up. I met Tom at the door and nodded. I rubbed my shoulder and smiled.
"He'd be proud of you Star" I peaked through the door and we made our way down the hall. Making our way though i noticed how quiet it was, the only noise were the few knights standing guard and the distant fighting. I saw no sign of Queen Mewni or Marco which worried me, if the Main attack was to encounter the two...they'd stand no chance. Tom and I walked next to Romby's room where eclipsa was being kept. Tom stopped and looked.
"Maybe she knows something" I thought they'd keep her in the dark but it was worth the attempt.
"Ok I'll question her you go ahead and keep looking" I handed him a dimensional phone.
"If you find her press the yellow button i'll be alerted...stay safe Tom" He took it and nodded
"You too star" I entered the room and glanced to see tom down the hall as he turned and gave me thumbs up. I closed the door and looked at Eclipsa.
'Wow good to see you sweetie... oh you're on a secret mission ok i'll be quiet" She said snickering. I noticed the dark magic within her had gotten bad, the purple veins reached her neck and some reached her eye. I walked up to her not taking my eyes off.
"Where's Queen Mewni?!" She smiled
"No care for Marco huh...he's important too especially now of all times" I glared at her
"What do you mean to important?"
"Don't act stupid Star even Moon knows how important he is, he's the catalyst to all our plans Mine, Mewni's, Moon's and Kalex's.." I didn't know what she meant by important...i understood he has a connection to the land but thats it.
"Is it that why Mewni didn't kill him? Is that why she's using him" Eclipsa rolled her eyes. She coughed and began to wheeze.
"It should be obvious. But if it's between us I wouldn't say she's using him...more so he's waiting it out i'd say"
"Waiting what out?" Eclipsa closed her eyes
"Y'know all i wanted was revenge...against the council for imprisoning me, once they fell I saught to return to the throne so i could obtain the wand to bring my daughter back...even if it was for a short time period but once I held Marco in the temple all i saw was...FIRE...he is destined for something bigger than this petty war...and he's gathered the knowledge on how to do it...all of ours plans relied on him but...its too late for that...his plan will come true.." I couldn't move a muscle. Fire?, his destiny?.
"But you...he'll probably listen to you. You're kingdom is at stake...all of magic and the Knights of Mewni..." She looked at me petrified.
"The dark magic i summoned showed me the end of this kingdom and the birth of new one...one built from fire" She summoned a oval like void.
"Enter...you'll be shown glimpses of what's come" I looked at it then at her.
"If its so easy why haven't we always used"
"It was never written in the book of spells nor is it known by anyone other than me...and I've only ever used it twice and each time...it kills me slowly..." The darkness began to spread through her head causing her to scream. I uncrystalized her and went to her. I laid her down and casted a pain relief spell on her. She grabbed my hand and smiled
"I'm surprised...you're helping me"
"You haven't served your sentence yet...and i can't exactly just watch you die" She laughed
"Head on...I doubt it but maybe you can restore the butterfly name and save this kingdom but that means Marco will be your enemy" I shook my head
"No i came here to save him not fight him" I began to walk into the void.
"Promise me this...if it comes to it and there's no other way...Star...Stop him...Stop Marco..." The void closed leaving me in the abyss. Marco as an enemy and why am I here...was it because I was as curious as to whether i can trust her word. But i don't have time i need to see whatever this is and leave. The surroundings began to morph into an open plain like the one i always see in my dreams, than a shadow appeared in front of me wielding a shield and a sword. I readied my wand and pointed it at him.
"Who are you!?" It asked.
"I'm here...to see whats to come for the kingdom of Mewni and its land." The figure remain silent and waved its sword and slammed it down into the dirt.
"You will be shown glimpses of her fate. I can assume you are Princess Butterfly?" I nodded my head confused how he knew.
"How do you know" He began to wave his hands as the world around morphed.
"Of all the dimensions I watch over yours is the most active, so I observe it more than the others. I've learned its History, people, language and it's current situation." I was surprised by this. Usually these kind of higher dimensional beings glance over their domains because of the sheer amount of dimensions there are.
"So you know who i'm looking for" He nodded his head.
"The usurper Queen Mewni, but the reason you're here is because of someone else...someone more important...Son of Sol Marco Diaz" The world morphed into the Castle of Mewni...normal untouched by war or age. Was this it? Was this the fate of the kingdom?
"This is the fate you wished for but reality is unforgiving" The world morphed and the castle and its lands...were engulfed in flames and the people in it...burned alive. The screams only intensified as the flames spread across what looked like acres of land.
"What is this?! Why is this happening?! Who could've done such a thing?!" The animals and their homes...gone.
"At this rate it'll reach the other kingdoms!" I felt a hand touch my shoulder
"With fire brings destruction and with that peace...and finally beauty" Shivers went through my spine. That voice. A body fell in front of me, burned to a crisp and clinging to life. Their eyes looked into mine. The voice began to speak again
"I'm sorry...but this is the only way this land will know peace...trust me star" I swung my wand behind me and screaming hoping this nightmare would end. The world morphed back into darkness again.
"Marco! come back please! why are you doing this...how...?" The figure descended toward me
"The fate of this land rests on time...but once time hits a certain threshold nothing can be changed" The world began to fade back into the crystal room.
"As the harbinger of Dimensions you have little time to save your kingdom...I be will watching Star Butterfly..." The world faded and I was back. Eclipsa laid lifeless on the floor. I went to check her pulse.
'Nothing'. Her dreams were never seen but she helped me with all the time she had left.
'Star...Stop him...Stop Marco...' echoed in my head.
"Thank you Eclipsa..." The phone buzzed and it ping him. He directly three floors under me...the throne room.
'Of course she'd be there' I blasted the floor beneath me until i reached the throne room. I landed and looked at tom who was looking behind me. But his face was filled with fear and shock. I was about to ask and turn until...he called to me.
"Star..."
