Chapter 90: Aarakocra:

Jack's POV:

Now that we know we have a new problem, we're going to be careful. Drake's doing his best to ignore the Lich.

"Alright Agents," says Director Flagg, "you're needed in Lincoln. There are reports of something flying in the air."

"Let's go," I said.

. . .

We arrived in Lincoln.

"Let's get ready for... whatever it is we're going to face," says Miko.

"I think it might be him," says Sunset.

We all look and see a man with wings flying around.

"It's a Aaakocra," says Drake, "also known as birdfolk, ae avian humanoids who live in high, mountainous regions. They ae strong fliers and capable warriors. Aaakocra have also been called 'sky hunters' and 'feather heads'."

"Reminds me of Captain America," says Miko, "the current one."

The Aara... Aaron... Bird-Guy. Man, that is hard to say. Anyway, he lands.

"Hello, land warriors."

"S'up, Ariel... Arrow..." Miko tries, "that is hard to say!"

"Time to roll the dice," I said.

"I cannot return to our world, Dungeon Master. Not until I fulfill my mission."

"What's your mission, Arrgh... Arwin..." Erika tries, "that is hard to say."

"I am on a mission to fight for the honor of the woman I now love, and I must go. By the way, she works at a restaurant over there." He flies off.

"We better go," says Drake.

. . .

We went to the diner and met the waitress that works there.

"Ugh, that annoying bird guy," she says, "we just met once, and he became obsessed."

"And that honor thing," says Sunset.

"He's hunting down a guy who didn't pay a tip."

"So, we have to stop his obsess... obscene..." Steel tries, "that's also hard to say. You guys try."

"Obsession," we all say.

"Show-offs."

"Let's go," I said.

. . .

We found the address of the guy who won't pay his tip. I knocked on the door. The man answers.

"What?"

"Sir, we have bad news for you," I said.

"There you are," the Bird-Guy says, "as an honorable Arra... Arnold... wow, that is hard to say... and it's my species!"

"What the heck," asks the man.

"Don't worry," says Drake, "I'll just roll the dice..."

The Bird-Guy knocks the dice out of Drake's hands, and they end up in the trash.

"Now you are coming with me!" The Bird-Guy grabs the man and flies off. Steel turns on his beast mode and flies after him.

"I'm going to try to get my dice back," says Drake.

Steel's POV:

I fly after the A... Bird-Guy. He's about to drop the man, but I save him.

"You can't harm someone just to impress a girl," I said.

"I see."

"Good."

"You too are in love with her!"

"What?"

"Metal Man/Insect, I shall end you!"

"What?"

Jack's POV:

We were still waiting for Drake to get the dice.

"I got them," says Drake.

"Good, because it looks like Bird-Guy is trying to kill Steel," says Miko.

"I'll roll the dice!" Drake does so and the dice land on twelve.

A portal then opens, and it sucks in the bird-guy.

"One day, I will return for my beloved!"

Steel then takes the man back to the ground.

"That was the worst love triangle I have ever..." Steel thinks about it. "Actually, it was the first. And is it fair if I'm not even interested in the girl?"

. . .

The Man gives the Waitress every money he has.

"As long as that creep is gone, I don't care."

"Let's go, Team," I said as we left.

In the next chapter, the team deals with a Rusalka.
