Chapter 98: Remorhaz:
Erika's POV:
So, not only do we have to deal with Raf being possessed by an evil lich, but that lich has also turned Miko into a vampire, and now we have to find a way to save them both. First, we have to find them, and Sunset is working on that.
"I think I got something," says Sunset, "they're in the Arctic!"
"Then let's go," says Jack.
Xykon's POV:
If I'm right, Sunset has found our location. Luckily, I was already prepared for this. There's a reason why I chose the Arctic.
Erika's POV:
We arrived at the Arctic.
"Last time I was here, we were trying to stop Evox from getting what he needed for the Mass Device," says Jack, "split up!"

Sunset, Alakshmi, and I were checking an area.
"What's that you got there," asks Sunset.
"Protection," says Alakshmi, "I know we're trying to get Miko back, but I think we still need to prepare for potential vampire attacks. So, I have garlic and this cross."
"Good thinking," says Sunset.
"Be on your guard," I said.
Jack's POV:
Steel, Arashi, and I were checking an area.
"Jack, when we find them, are we going to have to... you know..."
"Don't worry Steel," I said, "we will save them."
"Steel, does it feel a little hot to you," asks Arashi.
"You're asking the wrong guy," says Steel.
Drake's POV:
Roadblock and I were checking an area.
"It's quiet," says Roadblock, "too quiet."
"Be on your guard," I said, "Xykon could have a trap somewhere."
"That's weird," says Roadblock, "I feel a little warm." He then takes off his jacket.
Erika's POV:
I then heard something.
"What was..."
A giant centipede then comes out.
"That doesn't look good," says Sunset.
"Ember-Eye the Indomitable," says Alakshmi. Ember-Eye then took on the centipede.
I fired an energy blast and Sunset used her NERF blaster. The centipede then sank into the ground.
"We have to meet up with the others," I said.
. . .
We regrouped with the others, and I told them everything.
"A Remorhaz," says Drake, "they ae strange creaTtues resembling giant centipedes. They reside in cold, arctic climaTtes, and radiaTte a powerful, steel-melting heat from their hide."
"Did you say steel-melting heat," says Steel, "that does not sound good."
"That would explain why it's been getting hot," says Jack, "that must have been the Remorhaz."
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... guys," says Sunset, "I think I can sense more than one!"
"Now we have a new problem," says Alakshmi.
"The eldest remorhazes grow to immense size and strength and become dominant naTtual forces in the lands in which they reside," says Drake.
"Let's hope we don't run into those," says Roadblock.
"They're more than likely underground," says Jack, "so that's where we're going!"

We traveled underground to find the Remorhazes.
"Do you think Xykon planned this," asks Steel.
"It's possible," says Roadblock.
"I think it's getting hotter," says Sunset.
"We could use a water creature," I said.
"Aqua-Ranger Commander," says Alakshmi. Aqua-Ranger Commander did not look too pleased to see her. "I know what I did in the past, but right now, we need water. They did nothing to you! Please, Sonora."
Sonora then agreed and gave us water.
"Thanks," says Sunset.
"Over here," says Drake.
We found the hive.
"Good job, Drake," says Jack.
"Now I can banish them all," says Drake.
But the Remorhazes started fighting back. I used my energy powers, Steel used his Maximal powers, Sonora joined the fight, Drake used his magic, and the rest used their NERF blasters.
"Man, these guys don't give up," says Roadblock.
A remorhaz grabs Drake.
"Hang on," I said.
I floated and tried to save Drake.
"Eika, you have to use the dice," says Drake.
"Are you sure?"
"I'll find a way back. I'm not going to stop until that bag of bones is beaTten!"
I then tried to grab for the dice, but the Remorhazes kept getting in the way.
"I don't feel so good," says Steel as his metal starts to melt.
"Hurry Girl," says Roadblock.
I then levitated the dice towards me and rolled them. I got a twelve, and all the Remorhazes were sent back to their world, but Drake went with them.
. . .
We were all gathered together.
"We might need Drake's help against Xykon," says Arashi.
"Don't worry," says Jack, "I think we'll see him again."
Xykon's POV:
I didn't even see that coming. This just got more interesting.
Drake's POV:
I am now back in my world, but I have to find a way to get back so I can take down Xykon.
In the next chapter, Drake will be dealing with a Displacer Beast.
