Something big was going to happen. The feeling was in the air, it saturated everything in a feeling of impending danger. Even the normally chattering birds were silent, as if sensing the tension. Damian knew it, he felt it. He just hoped it wasn't something with Hadrian and Marcus, over the last months Damian really started to see them as his brothers.

Going down to the Great Hall in the silent halls Damian thought back to the last session. It was a battle strategy. Something Ron was really good at. Once it was finished Hadrian ended the session with "pick your battles. Don't let the battles pick you. Choices must be made but stay true to you." He couldn't help but think that Hadrian may know something which seems like those two always do.

On the other side of the castle high up in the sky unnoticed by everyone, a letter landed on a desk. Hadrian, sat back seeing the handwriting. Opening up the parchment it was short. It is ready. He set the parchment down shakily releasing tension that built up with seeing those words. Taking a quill in his hands he lightly dipped it into the ink well, before touching the fresh sheet of parchment. In loopy elegant cursive Hadrian addressed the letter to Damian. It was addressing the plan something he though he wouldn't have to write down ever. Hadrian just never expected to take in Damian as a brother more the Potters, but he did in his own way. It was no where near an actual family but it was something. He looked towards his trusty owl after sealing the letter. "Send this to him tomorrow when he's alone." He commanded the white feathered owl, as he stood up he heard a hoot and then continued down the winding stair case towards their room.

The groaning bricks moved out of his way as he stepped through the fireplace seeing Marcus reading another book on the couch. "Its time."

Marcus hummed "I thought as much."

It happened fast but snow fell covering Hogwart's ground. The end of the semester was finally been coming up. Hadrian lasted all semester with Marcus on the top. They despite what the Order though were well liked but intimidating two in the school. The golden trio grew up. Nothing like they had been before. The school protection was never better before this time.

Together Hadrian with Marcus and a few other Slytherins, quickly made their way to the Great Hall where the rest of the teachers and students had gathered for breakfast. Chatter was heard throughout the hall, all excited for the winter holidays, when the owls started to deliver their mail for the day and once the newspapers uncoiled, the mood was tense and everyone was on high alert.

The Jokers Strike Again

After these few calm months' tragedy struck again in lower Hogsmead. Two joker cards were found at the scene ….

The room fell silent. No one dared to make a single noise, no one even dared to whisper. The Great Hall felt like a ghost town, eerie and still. Only the sound of soft breathing and the flickering of candles could be heard.

Hadrian and Marcus shared a look when. A loud crash echoed through the Great Hall. The doors burst open and a group of Aurors flooded in, their wands at the ready, Minister Fudge was in the lead.

"What is the meaning of this?" Professor Dumbledore asked, standing up from his chair at the head table.

"The deal has been broken. I will not stand for this injustice," Fudge said, his eyes darting around the room.

The tension in the room rose as accusations started flying. Hadrian and Marcus remained calm, but both were on high alert, scanning the room as Aurors stations around the hall and more coming towards the Slytherin table.

Suddenly, as if coming the greatest epiphany Damian looked towards the two knowing what will happen now. But with a subtle shake of Hadrian's head told Damian this wasn't his battle to chose.

Panic erupted in the Great Hall as students and teachers alike trying to figure out what fudge was here instead of looking for the culprit. But there wasn't much of a guess as Hadrian and Marcus was swarmed by Arours with heir wands trained on them.

"They will be coming with me. A trial is demanded for all the crimes they have committed. Wands now." Fudge demanded.

"Now Fudge lets talk about this first." Dumbledore spoke stopping the Arour that was stationed there to hold Hadrian and Marcus's wands.

Very unwillingly fudge grudgingly followed Dumbledore to the back room with professors and students alike confused and nervous.

Amidst the chaos, Hadrian and Marcus remained stoic. They knew this was coming, and they were prepared for it.

Sometime later, Dumbledore slowly came out with a proud fudge following standing in the center of the platform. "As you all are aware, the situation with the Deck have gotten out of hand and it has been brought to my attention that Hadrian and Marcus are the leader of this reckless group known as the Jokers." Fudge announced, his voice stern and unwavering. The tension built in the room as the students all whispered amongst each other. "At the beginning of the term, the jokers were captured and come to our surprise they were just two teens. One being the twin of Mikel Potter. Dumbledore and I devised a deal to let these teen change. As you can see they somehow broke out of Hogwarts that being said" Fudge look towards the Arour with the wands "wands now-"

"This is an outrage!" Professor McGonagall exclaimed. "These two have been nothing but model students since they arrived here!"

"I'm afraid to evidence suggests otherwise," Fudge said, holding up the Joker card found at the crime scene.

"But sir, anyone could have planted that card. You cannot just arrest them without proper investigation," McGonagall argued.

Fudge remained firm in his decision. "I am no longer willing to tolerate these two causing chaos and havoc in our world. They must be brought to justice."

Fudge holds up the two wands and has the Arors restrain Hadrian and Marcus. "As per agreement the wands will now be snapped and the boys brought to trial." Damian's fists clenched at the sight of the wands, a familiar feeling of anger and dread rising in his chest. He knew this was coming, but he had never expected it to happen like this. He glanced at Hermione and Ron, both of them looking just as shocked and outraged as he felt. Snapping a wizards' wand is one of most the foulest things one can do.

The silent hall watched as Fudge placed the two wands on the podium, then slowly slides them to half of the wand over the edge. A snap echoed through the Great Hall. Silence reverberated the hall, everyone shocked and horror at the in formation and snapping of the wands. As the two separated pieces bounced on the stone floor a shock wave spread across everyone. Even the flames flickered with the power that was released.

Then in the Fudge cleared his throat. "Let it be known that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has no tolerance for such lawless actions. And let this be a lesson to all those who dare to break the law."

The crowd erupted into murmurs and shouts, some in support of Fudge's actions, while others, like the golden trio, were outraged and shocked.

Dumbledore raised his hand, silencing the room. "While we may not agree with the outcome, we must trust in our justice system and give Hadrian and Marcus a fair-"

Two dark chill filled chuckles sounded from the slytherin table. During the spectacle they missed how Hadrian and Marcus stood up. Hadrian took a bow "congratulations you are as everyone believes you are."

"We were about to those wands" Marcus continued lifting his hands in the air the room growing cold with magic "you shouldn't have done that."

Hadrian nodded as his left hand played with thin air turning it to a ball of energy. "S-sto-op them!" Fudge shouted waking the Aurors into action. They laughed as the Aurors failed to get close to them. Seeing this the students started to panic the most trusted two who helped them with homework. Who were training the Golden trio. With at least 20 Aurors all failing to get to the two everything escalated fast with professors, James and Lily included trying to calm everything down.

With a thundering clap the Hall fell silent again as Dumbledore got everyone's attention again but before he could speak Hadrian spoke first looking towards Lily. "You are right." Her eyes widen with understanding and a bit of fear.

"Hadrian…" he turned to Marcus.

"I know." With that the student body and guests watched as the two bowed again.

"See you letter!" Hadrian roared with laughter at what Marcus shouted and both of them disappeared with a pop taking the flames with them. Leaving the Grate Hall shrouded in darkness.

Chaos erupted as everyone tried to make sense of what just happened. Lily was heart broken as she realized what Hadrian meant by being right. When the Great Hall had calmed down and the flames returned lighting the hall there was not one table without crying students. From that day on, Hogwarts was not the same. One though was hit harder, Damian got close to those two even knowing who they truly were. It was because of them that Mikel started treating Damien as a brother.

For everyone else the jokers may have disappeared, and became undesirables and wanted, their presence was always felt at Hogwarts, reminding everyone that they were not just two troublemakers, but skilled wizards with a cause. And as the next few days passed, the start of the winter holiday had begun.
