Disclaimer: I own nothing but the story

Enter the Survival Horror Chapter 3

The three of them, make their way to the assistant director's office. When they arrive at the corridor that leads to the office, they find three zombie bodies on the ground instead of two.

"I found this zombie as I left the library." Billy reveals he did it.
The get over to the door and use the key, unlocking it. As they head in, they find the office cramped. "This room is weird." Rebecca said, looking over the desks pushed together.

They go around the desks, with Billy having to push a small table, before finding a switch. They turn it on and the main lights show everything in the room. They find ammo for the weapons and Bec 'sees' something on the moose.

"There is something on that moose head." Bec tells them.

Billy and Rebecca look to see what Bec was talking about, there was a needle like object in the antlers. The table was then pushed by Billy, putting it where one of them could get it. Rebecca gets on the table and grabs the needle.

Once she was back on the ground, Bec takes a closer look at it. "I think this goes to the clock. Like the one we saw on the third floor." she said.

"Are you sure?" Rebecca asks.

"Yeah, it was missing a hand, this must be it." Bec said.

"That paper said, '8:15'. I wonder what it does, let's go check it out." Rebecca said.

"Sure- Wait! I see a paper." Bec said, going over to grab the diary page.

They all read it.

Assistant Director's Diary

September 2nd

A useless bunch of trainees, as always.

Where does headquarters find these idiots?

We did get a couple of decent ones, though, so I can't complain I guess.

William and Albert.

They might have a future.

September 25th

Scholar Will. Practical Al. They really are opposites.

And they're always competitive in everything they do.

There's something ruthless and cruel about them both...

October 7th

Got a sudden call from the Director.

It was to tell me to encourage a rivalry between those two!

It's the first time since this training facility was built that Director Marcus has ever shown interest in anything other than his research.

Well, whatever.

Orders are orders.

I am going to have them tearing at each other's throats.

"They seemed to have liked two students that attended that year. Seems like they really liked competition." Billy said.

"Or.. was it to achieve better results?" Bec didn't notice she said that out loud.

"What do you mean?" Billy asks her.

'Shit!' Bec quickly thinks of something. "This place isn't normal. So whatever they were doing here originally, must not have been good. What if there were experiments going on here? Assuming that is what happened." Bec said.

The two stare at her but share a look that says they'll talk later.

They leave to head back to the main hall, when Billy takes notice of a door they haven't gone through yet. Billy moves over to it, the girls follow him, but when he tries it, it was locked.

They head back on the third floor, making their way to the clock room. Rebecca puts the hand where it goes and has it say 8:15. When it was set, the bongs.

Nothing seems to have happened so they head back to the main hall, but this time Bec goes over to the door that Billy tried. When she tries it, it opened.

"How did you know that the clock unlocked that?" Billy asked.

"The sign above the door." Bec said.

Sure enough, a clock symbol was above the door. They arm themselves and head in, taking out the zombies that were roaming the room. They find a piece of paper that has poetry on it, on the table.

The Moon bows to the Earth

The Earth swears loyalty to the Sun

And the great Law of the Sun Governs all things.

This itself is the keystone,

The pointer to glory

All our hands

Cannot open the door to the heaven.

After they read it, Billy asks, "What does it mean?"

"Don't know but we'll figure it out." Rebecca said.

Bec then 'finds' another microfilm, it was called 'B'. "What do you think these are for?" Bec asks, putting it away.

"They must go into a projector, maybe we'll find one." Rebecca said, putting the paper in the bag.

"By the way, we should go to the dining room. There's a door with a fire symbol on it." Bec said.

"All right, we have our plan. Let's go." Billy said.

They head back to the dining room, they find two zombies wandering and get rid of them. Bec uses the fire key on the door leading to the kitchen.

They look over the room. "This place is a mess. It looks like they were in the middle of a war." Rebecca said, looking at all the pots, pans and glasses.

Billy sees a can of lighter fluid. "Hey, my lighter can use this." Billy said. He uses the flammable chemical to fill his lighter.

Bec grabs empty wine bottle, before turning to face them. "Can we go back to the storage room? There is a gas can in there." she said.

"Why would you want that?" Billy asks.

Rebecca then realizes what Bec did with the bottle on the train. "You can make a Molotov Cocktail?" she asked.

"Yes, I remember that leeches don't like anything hot. So, I figured if we run into anymore monsters that are made of leeches, we can take care of them more effectively." Bec explains.

"That would make sense, ok, let's go there." Billy said.

They get back to the storage room and Bec makes the weapon. Then she brings out the map, "I think we should try the west side of the first floor, if we can." Bec said.

"I see why, on the map it states projection room." Rebecca said.

Billy readies his gun, "All right, let's be prepared. Most likely there are monsters there."

Once they were ready, they get back to the main floor and go through the door on the west side. As they go along the corridor, they find a door on their left. They look at each other. "I think we should check it out." Bec said.

They head in, finding more herbs which Rebecca makes into medicine and Bec makes another Molotov Cocktail. Then leeches come into the room and form a mimicry. They quickly escape to they don't waste ammo on it.

Only after they left the bathroom, there was another mimicry waiting for them in the corridor. Bec throws a cocktail at it and sure, enough it was weakened that it took only three shots from Rebecca and Billy, to get rid of it.

They continue down the corridor and find another door, with a clock symbol above it. Going in, they see two zombies which they quickly dispatch, before checking over the projector.

Billy finds some ammo for them as Bec digs the microfilms out of her back pack. When she had them, she gives them to Rebecca, who puts them into the projector.

They see the lecture hall on film, but it had letters and numbers on the desks. They hear something pop out of the projector, look and see a disk. Rebecca grabs it and the image it prints out.

"This is an MO disk, the lecture hall has a working terminal. Most likely that's where it goes." Rebecca said.

"So it can disable some security. I wonder what it can do to help?" Bec questions.

"Only one way to find out, let's get back there." Billy said.

They arrive back at the lecture hall, going to the podium and Rebecca inserts the disk. The computer acknowledges the disk but says it needs a code. There were no buttons on the podium.

"Hey, the computers on the desks have buttons. Let's check the micro film again." Bec said, reminding them of the numbers on it.

Bec and Rebecca, go over to the desks that match the code and press the buttons. A noise is heard and they look toward the set of double doors that had knights guarding it.

The knights bring their swords to an upright position, which then allows the doors to be used.

"We can go in now, the other doors that are guarded by the knights should've also moved." Bec said.

"Probably so, let's check out what's behind these doors before we head to the other locations." Rebecca said.

They pass through the doors and hear moaning, Billy and Bec get rid of them. They then find another set of double doors and head in, finding Marcus's office.

Billy checks the westside of the room, "Hey, found some napalm grenades." he said, holding them up.

"That will help with the leeches." Rebecca said.

Bec was 'checking out' the small chess board. "The pieces on this chess board, match the life size ones. Let's have it match." she shows them.

"Are you sure Bec? Seems far fetched that something might happen." Billy said, unsure.

"What do we have to lose?" Bec asked. Billy and Rebecca share a look but realize that there could be something.

They move the pieces to match up the ones on the smaller board, and the board on the desk moves. They take a look to find a book called the book of evil.

"The scales in the hall talked about good and evil, this is probably something that- Bec? What are you doing?" Rebecca asks, watching her shake the book.

As Bec opens the book to find a black wing. She then puts the backpack on the ground and digs through it to bring out the black statue, she combines the two.

"Fits good, the white statue is also missing a piece. We now need to find that piece." she said to them.

".. Sure, that way we can get out of here. Hopefully." Billy said.

"Wait, there's something else." Rebecca said looking back at the desk.

Billy bring out part of a diary, they read it.

December 4th

We finally did it... the new virus!
We have called it the "Progenitor."
I want to carry it back and start detailed investigations immediately.
March 23rd
Spencer says he's going to start a company.
Well, I don't care, as long as I can continue my research into "Progenitor."
He can do what he likes...

August 19th
Spencer keeps asking me to be the director of his new training facility.
Maybe it's because of the business, but he's becoming intolerably pushy.
But, maybe I can turn this to my advantage. I need a special facility to properly explore all this virus' secrets.
A place where no one will get in the way...

November 30th
Damn that Spencer... He came to complain to me again today.
He thinks of "Progenitor" as nothing more than a money-spinning tool. Fool!
But if his influence continues to grow, it can only be bad for my research.
If I'm to properly develop "Progenitor," I must strengthen my own position too.

September 19th
At last...
I've discovered a way to build a new virus type with "Progenitor" as a base.
Mixing it with leech DNA was the breakthrough I needed...
I call this new virus "T," for "tyrant."

October 23rd
It's no good!
I can't hope for real progress by experimenting on mere rodents.
Only humans can be a proper mammalian subject for the experiments.
Otherwise, I'll never make any real progress...

November 15th
Someone seems to suspect something about my experiments...
...but, perhaps its just my imagination.
Well, if anyone does get too close, they may find themselves unexpectedly "assisting" in my research!

January 13th
At last, they are ready. My wonderful leeches!
Those of low intelligence, they will never have the privilege of tasting this sense of joy and satisfaction!
Now, finally, I can move against Spencer. Soon I will control everything...

January 31st
The devices I set to protect my work have been disturbed.
It appears someone came looking for "T" and the leeches. Fool.
No doubt the work of Spencer's group.

February 11th
Today, I again found evidence of tampering around the entrance to the labs.
If that is what they're after, I must find a suitable way to deal with them.
Perhaps I should have William and Albert smoke out the pests...
Those two are the only ones I trust.
Apart from my beloved leeches, of course.
But Spencer... It wouldn't end there, would it? I will announce "T" at the next directors meeting, and collect my just rewards...

"That's where it ends." Billy said, giving the diary to Bec.

'He was as crazy as Spencer was.' Bec puts away everything they find, before putting on the backpack again. 'He trusted Birkin and Wesker and he was betrayed.'

"Bec, wake up!" Billy says, "There's a medicine room across the hall. There maybe medical supplies for us."

"Ok." Bec said.

They head across the hall and take care of the two zombies that were inside. Rebecca gets the blues herbs and mixes them with other herbs before grabbing a first aid spray.

They then check out a kit in the northeast corner. Bec looks around to 'find' a paper on a bed. It reads..

First Investigation Unit Notes

We are searching the facilities, and it looks like a lot of chemicals survived.

Fortunately, the storage tanks are still full.

We have just started and there is still a lot we don't know, but it appears that the chemicals can be mixed to produce new substances.

The chemicals are scattered all about. Not because of the accident, more a result of a plain mismanagement.

When we re-open the facilities, we will have to develop a system for dealing with these chemicals.

"Ok, so this chemical over here can be used for something." Rebecca said. Bec flips the paper around to find more writing.

Red Blue = Sulfuric Acid

Green Red = Stripping Agent

"So that's what they're used for. Let's take one of these." Bec said.

Rebecca grabs a green chemical and puts it on her hip. "These seem to have the same properties as the herbs, but they have fused with chemicals. We're done in this aera, where to?" she asks them.

Bec thinks 'Time to go back to the library.'

"We should try the library again. There was one door we couldn't get through." Bec suggests.

"What about the main entrance? There might be a way out." Billy said.

"He has a point Bec, maybe we'll be able to leave this place." Rebecca said.

"Sounds fine." Bec said, even though she knew they can't escape from there. 'I can't say no without explaining myself.'

They head back into the main hall and head out the double doors on the first floor. They see a bridge in ruins, with no way to get to the other side. They check but can find no way to escape.

"This was a bust." Bec said.

"Yeah, but what about the last door guarded by knights?" Rebecca asked.

"Like here, it might be too good to be true." Bec said.

Billy came over to them, after checking out the lift. "A battery is needed to operate this machine. If we find one, we'll come back. Let's try the library." he said.

They head back to the second floor, Bec looks a 'look' at the painting near the locked door. "Billy, your lighter." she said.

"What about it?" he asks.

"Light the candle, like this old man in the painting." she said.

Billy looks at it and lights the candle, they hear the door unlock. Going they find two zombies eating a body and quickly take them out, while they were still distracted. They find grenade shells on a self, before going up a big step. They check the selves when Billy sees that one of them can move and moves it.

They find the book call 'Book of Good'. "We found it." Rebecca said taking it and opening it, finding angel wings.

"Back to the main hall." Billy said.

They do just that, going up to the statue holding the scales. Rebecca rummages through the back pack, grabbing the evil statue and the white statue from it.

She places the angels wings on the white statue, then place both statues on either side of the scale.

They hear a noise beneath them and go down the stairs to see the portrait of Marcus gone. In it's place was a set of stairs.

"Not what we were hoping for, but we must go foreword." Bec said.

"Yeah, there's nothing more we can do here." Rebecca said.

They head downstairs and see a new creature, giant spiders, they were on the ceiling. "Great, what are we to-?" Billy tries to say but hears something behind him.

He turns to see that Bec had a grenade launcher and was putting regular grenade shells in it. "Bec give me that." Billy said.

She gives it to him and takes care of three spiders. "Good thinking, Bec." he said giving it back to her.

"But you don't know how to work that. Why were trying to do that?" he asks her.

"I know but we had to get pass them." Bec said.

Rebecca sighs, "Bec, next time, just tell us your plan. Billy is right, while you have picked up handgun and shotgun quite well, the launcher is another story." she tells her.

"Different mechanics?" Bec asks.

"Yes, don't bother with the launcher." Rebecca said. "I agree." Billy said.

"Ok, no more launcher." Bec said.

They head down the corridor to the observation room. They get herbs and a map, "There is three floors that make up the basement, but it seems like the first floor isn't connected with the second." Billy said, looking it over.

"Then, if we get stuck here, we'll have to find a way to the second and third floors." Rebecca said, after she mixes the herbs.

Bec had brought out the map of the facility. "Say, remember when we encountered steam in this place." Bec said, pointing at the boiler room on the map.

"You think that's where we can reach the second and third floors?" Billy asks.

"If we have to." Bec said.

"Hey you two I found this list." Rebecca said, showing them it to read it.

Correctional Institute Inmates List

Mathews, K. Deceased, Disposal Complete.

Midge, D. Deceased, Disposal Complete.

Keith, W. Preserved as specimen.

Savage, C. Transported to research facilities.

Royce, M. Transported to research facilities.

Davids, A. Preserved as specimen.

Clarke, A. Transported to research facilities.

Ellens, J. Transported to research facilities.

Terrence, O. Deceased. Disposal Complete.

Kait, A. Transported to Arklay laboratory.

Gerry, O. Deceased, Disposal Complete.

Scott, S. Transported to research facilities.

Mitchel, F. Transported to research facilities.

Kerry, T. Transported to Arklay laboratory.

Roberts, A. Transported to research facilities.

"They experimented on their own students? Why?" Billy asks.

"... Marcus sounds like a person who wants nothing but the best. Maybe this list are those who didn't make the cut." Bec said.

"Sadly, that sounds like it's right. Real creep." Rebecca said.

They head into the torture room, "What they use this place for?" Rebecca asks.

"Well, they did experiment on their students. Maybe those with potential were put here, when they failed expectations." Billy said.

"Yeah, pain would be an incentive to do better." Bec said,

Rebecca then sees an open vent, but it was out of reach. "Say Billy can you give me a boost?" she asks him.

Both Bec and Billy see why she asked that question. "Sure." he said.

"Bec, your staying with Billy." Rebecca tells her.

Bec was worried for what will happen next, but Rebecca clearly doesn't want her to go with her and Billy seems to agree. "Ok, just be careful." Bec said.

"I will. Billy watch over her." Rebecca said. With Billy's help, she reaches the vent and crawls through to the other side.

Rebecca gasped, for this torture room was worse then the other one. There were needle chairs, iron maidens and other torture devices that you hear about from the middle ages.

She goes over to room to find a regulator and a paper. The paper talks about fixing the regulator.

About the Power Regulator

Due to the recent lightning strike, the power regulator continues to be inoperative.

It wouldn't really matter about the power, except for the fact that the boiler room equipment is on the same grid.

The equipment is so run down. I'll probably have to have it fixed up all the time.

If you wish to exit rapidly set the indicator to 70.

Check first though that everything is connected to the chain.

"Ok." Rebecca says going over to the regulator, "If I flip these switches right.."

Rebecca was able to fix the regulator, she hears the door in the room unlock. 'So we had no why of getting in here expect the vent.'

Unbeknownst to Rebecca and Billy, they were still being watched by the Leech Queen. He was not happy.

"Your wasting your time." he says, "I have claimed this facility for my own. You all are trespassing and I'm quite territorial."

He then pushes a few buttons to release a new creature and sends it after Rebecca, laughing all the while.

As Rebecca was walking over to the door that would take her back to Bec and Billy, something jumps on her. "Ah!" she said in surprise.

The creature takes a bite out of her, before she gets it off. She looks at it, to see an infected monkey. It tries to jump on her again, but she moves out of the way.

Once she gets back on her feet, she reaches for her gun to shoot at it, when the ground fell beneath her.

As this was happening, somewhere else Wesker and Birkin were going over what they have learned, "This doesn't make sense." Birkin said going over some papers.

They were walking along one of the halls, "That young man can't be Dr. Marcus. Surely even you don't believe his claim?" Birkin asks.

"No, there should be no way that the young man and Dr. Marcus are the same person." Wesker said.

"Exactly, however.. If this gets out then Umbrella is done." Birkin said.

"That is true. If the old conspiracy gets out, then Mr. Spencer's career will be done. Which will include ours." Wesker said, coming to a stop and pressing the elevator button.

"The time is now." Wesker said, surprising Birkin.

"What is your plan?" he asks.

"I will simply say goodbye to Umbrella. The biological weapon utilizing the t-virus is almost complete. It only needs combat data now." Wesker said as the elevator arrive on the floor where they are.

"Are you serious?!" Birkin could not believe what he was saying.

"I have finished the work on the t-virus, but my g-virus needs more work! I can't leave it!" Birkin nearly shouts at Wesker.

"Do what you wish, Will. I will go with the initial plan, luring STARS into the mansion. Thanks to the superior combat training, they will provide excellent test results." Wesker says, chuckling at the end. He steps into the elevator and presses the up button.

"Fine. Do what you wish, Al. However something needs to be done about the mad man here. In the basement of this place, there should be a device that can destroy this place. I'll find it, set it off and make this place nothing more then a pile of rubble." Birkin said as the elevator doors close.

Back to Rebecca, she had grabbed an iron bar on the second floor to prevent herself from falling into hole completely, but it had been a couple of minutes. Her arms were getting tired.

"I can't hold on." Rebecca said. She takes a risk, removes one hand from the bar and grabs her radio.

"Billy! Bec! Help!" she shouts into it.

"Shit!" Billy said after hearing Rebecca. "Let's go." he said to Bec and they make their way back to the basement entrance hall. They see a infected monkey, but go passed it.

"Bec, I'll take care of the enemies." Billy tells her as he opens the door to the monitor room. He shoots at the zombie moving before grabbing all the ammo and gas can in the room.

"Billy! I see a hole in the floor! I see monkeys! But no Rebecca!" she quickly shouts to him after 'peeking' around the door.

"Damn! She must be in the hole! However I can't risk your safety in there! Let's get back to the boiler room!" Billy shouts, concerned as to how to deal with the monkeys and saving Rebecca.

They run back upstairs, going to the boiler room and going pass the area where steam had once been. As they go down the steps, "Bec you are not to stop running. Get to the room Rebecca is in." Billy said to her.

"All right." Bec said.

As they open the door, Bec runs in front of Billy, who shoots at the eliminators who try to jump on them. They reach the storage room and head in.

Rebecca's arms were just about done, she braces herself for death as one hand let's go of the bar. As the other hand let's go, someone grabs it. "Rebecca!" it was Billy.

She looks up to see him and Bec, who reaches out with her hand. Rebecca was able to bring her other hand to her and they pull her up.

They breath heavily at what had happened. "Thank you both." Rebecca thanks them.

"Don't mention it, keeping my word." Billy said.

"It was no trouble." Bec said.

Rebecca's radio comes to life, "This is Rebecca. Over." she said, bringing it to her face.

"Rebecca? This is Enrico. Have you located Coen yet? Over." Enrico asks.

Rebecca is hesitant. "Rebecca, please answer. Over." Enrico orders her. Billy resigns himself that Rebecca will tell Enrico about him.

".. No, sir. I haven't found him yet. I'll continue to keep an eye out. Over." Rebecca said. Billy was surprised that she did that.

"All right. How is your charge doing? Over." Enrico then asks about Bec.

"She's doing fine. We're trying to get out of a training facility. Over." Rebecca said.

"Ok, keep her safe as well as yourself. Over and out." Enrico said. Rebecca puts her radio back on her hip.

"Rebecca.." Billy said, he was stunned that Rebecca didn't tell Enrico about him.

"My first mission and I'm already disobeying orders. So much for my career in law enforcement. If I make it out of here, I'll be concerned then." she said.

"Billy.. Tell me the truth. Did you kill twenty-three people? I'm not going to judge you. I just want to know the truth." Rebecca tells him, seriously.

Billy is silent for a moment. "It was about this same time last year..." Billy starts to say.

"My unit was deployed to intervene a civil war. We we're told that there was a hideout deep in the jungle, that there was where the rebels were hiding. However, it was quite far from the entry point. Some men died as a result of the heat. Others, by the enemy. By the time we got to the hideout, only four of us were left." Billy said

"Only it wasn't a hideout." Billy then said, which surprised Rebecca.

"What do you mean?" she asks. Bec is silent, she brought out herbs from her bag and applies them to Rebecca's injured shoulder, Rebecca let's her.

"The ones in charge were idiots. They had us going in, based on falsified information, to a hideout that didn't exist." he explains.

"Instead, we found a village at peace. However, the leader of our unit, didn't want to go home empty handed. So, our leader ordered us to attack innocent people. Sadly, the other two went along with it." Billy said, remembering what happened.

"So, did you help them kill those innocent people?" Rebecca asks, Bec was done treating her.

"Forget about it. It's in the past and it doesn't matter now." Billy said.

"I think it does. You didn't kill any of the villagers did you?" Bec asked looking at him.

"You said your teammates went along with the decision, yet you never mentioned yourself." Bec points out. Billy is silent.

"Bec is right, Billy. Right now, my teammates think you killed those MPs in the forest, but you didn't kill them either, did you?" Rebecca asks, but it was more of a statement.

"The zombie dogs, they attacked the van and killed them. You then were able to escape." Rebecca said firmly.

"You two don't get it, I only have two choices. Report back to the marines and live out my sentence or keep on running. That's all." Billy said, turning away.

Both Bec and Rebecca could see they can't get Billy to say what happened.

".. We should get back into the pervious room. To see what's there." Bec said, after a moment passes.

"Let's go." Billy said.

Billy cautiously opens the door, "I think there was three of them, but I'm sure I got them all. Just in case, stay on your guard." he tells them.

They move slowly through the room, finding handgun ammo and some statues in the center of the room. They see all three monkeys were dead and Rebecca checks the door.

"It would appear, that the statues are the key to unlocking the door. We need to find six essences, whatever they are." Rebecca informs them.

Bec opens her mouth to speak when Billy shouts, "Bec!" and he tackles her. Another monkey had gotten in the room and nearly had her, Rebecca quickly gets rid of it.

"Nice shot Rebecca." Billy said, looking at her.

"Billy.." Bec growls out, angry.

"What?" he asks turning to her.

"Your hand maybe why." Rebecca said, trying not to laugh.

Billy looks and sees his left hand on Bec's breast. "How did-?" Billy didn't finish his sentence, before a slap rings in the room.

"Ow!" Billy said getting off Bec and holding his cheek.

"It was an accident!" Billy shouts, nursing his cheek.

"That's what they all say!" Bec shouts back, getting up.

"Ok, ok. Billy touched something he shouldn't have and got punished. It's over." Rebecca said, calming herself down.

"Your lucky were in this situation." Bec said.

"Yeah, yeah. We should head downstairs. There is nothing more we can do on this floor." Billy said, removing his hand from his face.

They go to the door that will take them downstairs. As they go down, they hear spiders moving, "Bec," Billy whispers, holding out his hands, "Give me the grenade launcher."
Bec gives it to him and when the spiders are in sight, he gets rid them. The three of them go in the door on their right and find two crawlers eating one of their kind. They shoot at them until they are dead.

They explore the room and find a key. 'For the control room. In there, we will encounter hunters and get more ammo.' Bec thinks about it.

They put stuff away, making sure it can fit into the backpack, before leaving the room.

They head through the only set of double doors and see two ways that they can go. "Let's check out, what's the right, before trying upstairs." Rebecca said.

They head to the right and go into the room, but see that bars are blocking the way foreword. "Maybe we can get through upstairs." Bec said.

"We'll have to check it out." Rebecca said.

They head for the stairs, upon reaching the top, find a control panel. They find a various ammo, handgun, shotgun, magnum and machine gun. They put away what ammo can't or shouldn't be used.

'Noticing' the locker, Bec uses the key and opens it to find not one, but two duralumin cases. She opens one, "Hey! I found parts for guns." Bec tells them.

Billy grabs the other one and applies the parts to his gun, Rebecca does the same for hers. Bec was a little disappointed but she knows she's a civilian, is under age, and that both Billy and Rebecca were protecting her.

'Well, actually people in the 90's were allowed to own handguns by the time their eighteen.' Bec remembers her history.

"Bec how did you know the combination?" Billy asks.

"This case right here." Bec said, showing the numbers on it. 'Thankfully, I grabbed the right one.'

Rebecca goes over to the control panel itself and checks it over. She presses a button and down below, some bars disappear while new ones appear.

"Ok, now that we see know how it works, I'll go down and see what is useful." Billy said, going to the stairs.

"Be careful Billy." Rebecca said.

"Yeah, stay safe." Bec said.

Billy enters the caged room, grabs acid grenade shells, and gets to another set of bars. "Press a button." he said into the radio.

Rebecca presses another button and he moves and was able to see something at the end of the path. He couldn't get it but takes notice of a red button on machinery.

'Might be a bad idea, but whatever is in that hole in the wall, could be something we need.' Billy thinks, he then presses it.

An automated voice said, "Initiating battle sequence."

"Locking door." it said. The way out is blocked but the bars in the room disappear leaving new creatures that they haven't yet faced.

"Fuck!" Billy said readying his shotgun at seeing the reptilian creature in front of him, right where the object is.

From where the girls are, they watch as two hunters come out of their cells. "Billy!" Rebecca cried out in concern.

"We can't help him." Bec said sadly, pointing at the entrance, which was barred.

Billy gets rid of one before the other one lands a surprising hit on his back. "Ugh!" he said in pain.

He was able to get rid of it, once he did, the voice said, "Battle sequence complete." and the bars blocking the way out are removed.

Rebecca and Bec go downstairs to check on him, he then checks out the hole in the wall and finds a key.

The girls get into the room and go over to him. "Are you all right?" Bec asks, concern for his injury.

"Yeah, but I do need the doctor's touch now." he said. Rebecca then treats him and he shows them what he found.

"This key has a water symbol, if I remember right the door in the art room, had it." Bec said.

"Yeah, we can't do anymore down here until we figure out what those souls are for the statues are." Rebecca said.

"Hmm.. actually I've been thinking about that." Bec said, she knows what needs to be done.

"What do you think?" Rebecca asks, done with treating Billy.

"The statues had plaques underneath them, we didn't read any of them. Not to mention, there are places to put flames." Bec said.

"Huh, so the answer might be right front of our noses." Billy said bringing out his lighter.

"Let's check it out." Rebecca said.

They head back up and look at the statues again. "The deer, snake and horse are prey, while the tiger, eagle and wolf are predators." Bec said.

"The note on the door.. Billy light them like this." Rebecca tells Billy where to light.

Once they were lit, the bar door raises up, granting them access to what's behind it. They go down to the door on their right, the room was dirty and the beds were against the wall.

"Hey, Bec, there is an empty wine bottle here." Billy said, he still had the gas can from the monitor room.

"I'll take care of it." Bec makes another cocktail.

Rebecca sees something in the fire place, she grabs it and finds that it was a tablet. "It says 'Unity'." she tells them.

"That is one of the principles of the school. There should be two others then." Bec said.

"Let's check out the last room, before the art room." Billy was talking about the other bunk room.

'There is nothing in there but zombies and evidence.' Bec goes along with due to the evidence inside.

They head into the other bunk, taking care of the zombies. "There was nothing here." Rebecca said, disappointed.

"No, here's something." Bec 'finds' a diary. It was a student and it briefly mentions unspeakable horrors.

What is that Director Marcus is researching all the time?

And what's with his weird interest in leeches?

Interest...? Seems more like love at times...

Rumor has it that there's something dangerous about those leeches.

It is true that when Dennis just touched one he got ill with a fever.

Again today...

There were those horrible moans beyond that door.

"Let sleeping dogs..."

No way I'll go near them.

Even if the Director ordered me. I don't want to end up like Dennis.

That poor bastard.

Scratching and scratching. Makes me itch just watching him.

Must maybe go

IF can but hwo

Dennis gone. I go

Hungry...

Help

Mom.

After they read it Rebecca says, "It looks like the trainees were never told about the virus."

"Yeah, looks like this one and his friend fell victim to it." Bec said.

"All right, back upstairs." Billy said.

They head back up the second floor of the facility and enter the art room. Billy takes the water key, unlocks the door and hears a mimicry.

Bec brings out a cocktail, when they get in the hall, they see it as they peek around the corner. Billy and Rebecca ready their guns and Bec throws the cocktail at it. As it was in pain, it was gunned down.

They then head into the first room on their right and see film reels on everywhere. They head down an aisle that had them on all sides but found nothing interesting. As they backtrack to go to the main part of the room, Bec stops before she turns the corner.

"What do you see?" Billy asks, whispering, as she rummages through her bag.

She brings out another cocktail, "It's another one of those leech monsters." she whispers back.

They ambush it as Bec throws the bottle at it. Once the threat was gone, they look around. They see TVs and computers all online. "Somebody has been using this place, quite recently." Rebecca said.

Bec then 'finds' a vise handle, "Wonder what you do?" she asks, rhetorically, putting it away.

"Nothing more here." Rebecca said.

They leave this room and head into the next door on the right in the hall. They find themselves in a bar with a piano, Billy and Rebecca check over the room, while Bec goes over to the piano.

"Well, this room is a bust. Let's move on." Billy said.

"Wait.. Can I play?" Bec asks. She knew it would reveal a hidden room, but she just want to hear music again.

"I guess." Rebecca said.

Bec plays the score on the piano, both Rebecca and Billy are memorized by her playing. 'She's good.' Rebecca thinks as she listens.

'I wonder if she's a professional?" Billy wonders.

When the song Bec was playing was done, they hear a noise. The wall with a painting on it goes up, revealing a secret room.

"I'll go and check it out, you two stay here." Rebecca going inside.

"How long have you played piano?" Billy asks her.

"Since I was small. What about you?" Bec asks.

".. Since I was a boy. How did you know that I can play the piano?" he then questions her.

Bec turns white, 'Why did I ask that?'

In the games, there is nothing about Billy playing a piano until this room. Same thing throughout this place, Billy never mentioned it.

"W-well I-" before Bec could finish whatever she was thinking, the wall comes down on the hidden room. "Rebecca!" they both yell.

Billy goes over to it, while Bec plays the piano again and the wall goes back up. "Thank you Bec. Here's what I found." Rebecca shows them the items.

An empty bottle, magnum ammo, and a battery. "The battery was the reason that the wall came back down." she tells them.

"This battery looks like it can fit into that lift by the entrance." Billy said, looking at it.

"We'll stop there, once were done here." Rebecca said.

They gather up everything and sort it in Bec's backpack. They leave this room to take the last door out of the hall and into another one where a mimicry is waiting.

Rebecca and Billy shoot at it, while Bec gets her last cocktail ready and throws it at it. When it was gone they go into the maintenance room.

They get rid of zombies in there, and find more shotgun shells. To Bec's surprise, they find another duralumin case. Using the same code the others had in opens to reveal another set of parts for a handgun.

"Bec, your gun?" Rebecca asks for her gun. Bec gives it to her and Rebecca puts the parts on it, before giving it back.

"Hey, Bec." Billy calls from a corner.

The girls go over to him, "That handle you've found in the recording room? It should fit here." he said.

Bec gives it to him and he uses it to free the stone tablet from the vise. This one is called 'Obedience'.

"Now we need one more, but where are we going to take them?" Rebecca asks.

"Maybe the observation tower. It's the only room on the third floor we haven't been in." Bec said.

"True, we saw nothing in the basement that uses these." Billy said.

"Let's go to the last room, maybe the last tablet is in there." Rebecca said.

They go to the last room on the second floor, they find it to be an old laboratory. They find ammo, healing items and a bottle, sadly that wasn't it.

"Are those human bones?" Bec asks about the bones in the container part of the room.

"Don't know for sure, but it wouldn't be surprising. Considering everything we're learning." Rebecca said.

They then leave to go back outside on the first floor. Billy puts the battery in the slot it's suppose to go, turn it on and brings down the lift.

The lift comes down with a crate, they work together to push it off the lift. "I don't see anything useful about this crate." Rebecca said looking over, now that it was off the lift.

"Say.. what about that pillar on the bridge? The one that's not broken?" Bec asks. They stare at her.

"There.. there might be something on top of it." Bec said. She hadn't wanted to say it like that, however she can see no other way to tell them how to use the crate.

"Let's try it." Billy said, surprising the girls.

They push the crate over to it and Rebecca gets up on it. Using her hands, she feels the top on the pillar and feels a rough piece of stone. She brings it closer and grabs it firmly. Once she gets it down she see the was the 'Discipline' tablet.

"This is the last tablet. We should get back to the third floor." she said getting off the crate.

They head all the way back to the hall that can take them to the large hall. As the reach the final set of steps they hear something. "Great, those bugs have taken over." Rebecca whispers to them.

".. Bec maybe you should know how to work that grenade launcher." Billy whispers to her.

"What?!" Rebecca asks loudly.

The crawlers upstairs stop, trying to make out where they heard the voice. The three of them quickly disappear into the art room.

"Rebecca.." Billy said her name unimpressed.

"I wasn't trying to be that loud.. but teaching Bec how to use the launcher?" she asks.

"I don't think there's a choice anymore. We can't say for sure that once we get out of the observation room, that we'll be home free." Billy said.

"..Ok." Rebecca reluctantly agrees.

Billy brings the launcher out of the backpack and shows Bec what to do, "... and the kick back, is a little strong but you'll get use to it." Billy finishes telling her about handling the weapon.

"Thank you." Bec said.

"Now remember the plan." Billy said. Aside from showing Bec how to use the launcher, they decided that one of them gets the door open while the other two distract or get rid of them. The once the door was open, they rush in and shout the door.

"Right." Bec would be the one to open the door, Rebecca and Billy would distract them.

They leave the room and go up the stairs. Rebecca and Billy enter first and shoot at the nearest one and move. The others follow them and Bec gets to the door. When she gets it open, she calls to them, "Let's go!"

They circle back and they all enter the room, shutting the doors behind them.

They check out the room, seeing the other pair of double doors and look down in the pit to see indentations where the tablets go.

Going down the ladder, they insert all three tablets and wait. The tower then moves, startling Billy and Rebecca, and it sinks.

'The path to the laboratory is formed.' Bec then thinks about what is going to happen. The tower stops moving and the double doors unlock.

"Let's go." Rebecca said climbing up the ladder, the other two follow her to the double doors.

Is Billy really now, onto her? Find out next time!

Feedback would be great.
