A/N: It might have taken a long time, but we're finally heading towards the semifinals of the boys' All-Valley tournament. I've planned who I wanted to win the boys' tournament and the girls' tournament for a while, and you've already seen who the winner of the girls' tournament is. That just leaves the boy's tournament.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Karate Kid movies, Cobra Kai or anything else that I might reference.

Then There Were Two

Jason and Miguel step back on to the mat with Sensei following close behind them.

Xander stands near the head Sensei of Topanga Karate on another part of the mat.

Robby is standing alone at the far end of the mat.

Jason looks and can see that Daniel has gotten out of his seat.

Daniel is having a conversation with a tournament official. He points at Robby and the tournament official hands him some paperwork to fill in before it gets handed back.

The audience cheers and applauds.

"Let's hear it for all our competitors! I think they're all winners! We've seen some excellent fighting today, haven't we? But there can only be one winner! And that winner is standing on this mat right now!" Darryl starts.

The audience is hyped up.

Darryl points to Miguel. "Will it be Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai Karate?"

Carmen and Rosa stand up and cheer.

"Will it be Jason Kreese, also from Cobra Kai Karate?" Darryl continues.

Claire cheers loudly for Jason.

Darryl is about to say something. "Will it be Robby Keene, un…"

They watch as the official who Daniel was talking to runs onto the mat and hands Darryl the paperwork.

"I don't believe it! Daniel LaRusso's going to coach!" Darryl exclaims.

The audience cheers as Daniel steps on to the mat and walks over to where Robby is standing.

Jason looks surprised. He can see Sensei glaring at Daniel and Miguel looking slightly concerned.

Darryl continues. "There's been a slight change. Robby Keene will be fighting for Miyagi-Do Karate and former two-time All-Valley champion Daniel LaRusso will be his Sensei! So, without further ado, will it be Robby Keene from Miyagi-Do Karate?!"

Robby smiles slightly and bows.

"And last, but certainly not least, I'd like to introduce last year's champion! Xander Stone from Topanga Karate!" Darryl announces.

Xander does a flip before taking the microphone.

It sounds like he has something to say. "I love to fight and compete, but we all need to fight against hatred."

"And I pray that we will all live in peace regardless of our race, gender, religion or anything else. Please join me in a moment of silence as we strive to end intolerance in our time." Xander continues.

Sensei gives Miguel a nudge before whispering something to him. "Kick that pansy bitch in the face."

"Yes, Sensei." Miguel nods.

Darryl takes the microphone out of Xander's hand.

"Okay! The first semifinal of the boy's All-Valley tournament will be Jason Kreese from Cobra Kai Karate versus Robby Keene from Miyagi-Do Karate!" Darryl announces.

Miguel steps off the mat and Xander steps off the mat along with the head Sensei of Topanga Karate.

Jason notices Sensei looking at Robby. "You okay, Sensei?"

"Don't worry about me, Kreese. Just focus on winning the match. And don't hold back, obviously. You can do this." Sensei replies.

Jason nods. "Okay."

He steps on to the centre of the mat.

Jason sees that Daniel and Robby were having a conversation before Robby walks over to where Jason is standing.

"Face me, bow. Face each other, bow." The referee instructs.

Jason and Robby bow to the referee before bowing to each other.

The referee calls for the match to begin. "Ready! Fight!"

"You know, I wasn't sure if I was going to get to the semifinals by myself. But I got there. And now, I might be able to beat you. With Mr LaRusso's help, of course." Robby says.

Jason smiles. "Don't get too confident. Because there's no way I'm going to lose."

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see who wins." Robby retorts.

They both get into a fighting stance.

Jason circles around Robby looking for an opening in his defences.

He darts in and tries to land a punch on Robby.

Robby blocks the punch and counterattacks.

Jason manages to get out of the way of Robby's counterattack.

He throws some more punches along with some kicks in attempt to break through Robby's defence.

Robby manages to block the punches and kicks or just gets out of the way.

Jason puts some distance between himself and Robby in an attempt to bait Robby into going on the offensive.

Robby is smart enough to see through the attempt and refuses to take the bait.

Jason takes another step back and makes sure that he's not out of bounds.

He's seen Robby's fighting style in the quarterfinals and knows that Robby is almost expecting him to make a move so he can block it and counterattack.

Jason tries to go for a leg sweep on Robby, only for Robby to take a couple of steps back.

He switches to a low sweeping kick and almost manages to trip Robby up.

Jason follows this up with a jumping kick.

Robby gets out of the way of the jumping kick and counterattacks.

Jason manages to block the counterattack before hitting Robby with an elbow strike to his chest.

The referee calls a halt to the match. "Point! 1 – 0!"

Robby was more surprised by the elbow strike than he was hurt by it.

"Jason Kreese takes the first point with an elbow strike to the chest! He's shown that he's not afraid to mix things up a little! And, I know that Robby Keene wouldn't have expected that elbow strike!" Darryl announces.

Jason and Robby go back to their lines.

The referee calls for the match to resume. "Ready! Fight!"

Jason closes the distance between himself and Robby.

He throws punches and kicks at Robby, who counters every punch and kick.

Jason tries to land a spinning kick.

Robby takes a step back, so Jason is only kicking air.

Jason lands on both feet and tries to land a front kick on Robby.

Robby blocks the kick and goes for a hook kick.

Jason manages to avoid it.

They go back to trading punches and kicks in the centre of the mat.

Jason pushes Robby backwards until he is out of bounds.

"Out of bounds! No point!" The referee exclaims.

Jason and Robby return to their lines.

The referee makes the call. "Ready! Fight!"

Jason charges at Robby.

He throws punches and kicks at Robby.

Robby blocks the punches and kicks and counterattacks.

Jason blocks a punch from Robby and manages to grab the collar of Robby's gi.

He's about to throw Robby to the mat before Robby breaks out of his grip.

They go back to trading punches and kicks in the centre of the mat.

Jason drops down and tries to hit Robby with an uppercut.

Robby takes a step back and hits Jason with a kick as he comes back up.

He manages to kick Jason in the face.

"Point! 1 – 1!" The referee exclaims.

Robby takes a few steps back and lets Jason get back to his feet.

Darryl is quick to hype up the crowd. "Robby Keene and Miyagi-Do manage to tie things up with a kick to the face! This fight is far from over! In fact, it's only just getting started!"

Jason and Robby get back on their lines.

"Are you okay?" Robby asks.

Jason shrugs. "I'm fine. I've been kicked in the face before. You can try and score another point all you want, but I'm not going to make it easy for you."

"And I'm not going to make it easy for you, either." Robby says.

Jason smiles. "Alright. Just so we're clear. You better get ready to lose."

"We'll see." Robby retorts.

The referee calls for the match to resume. "Ready! Fight!"

Jason and Robby can hear their respective Senseis shouting instructions at them.

The fight continues much like it had been before.

Jason and Robby trade punches and kicks in the centre of the mat.

Neither of them wants to back down.

Jason moves forward and tries to land a front kick on Robby.

Robby moves out of the way and tries to chop Jason's chest.

Jason blocks the chop and attempts a wheel kick.

Robby manages to get out of the way.

Even if Jason pushes him backwards.

Jason drops down and does a manoeuvre similar to a baseball slide.

He manages to clip Robby's left leg, causing him to fall to the mat.

Jason lands a punch on Robby.

"Point! 2 – 1!" The referee calls a halt to the round.

Jason gets to his feet and helps Robby get to his feet.

They get back on their lines.

Darryl is quick to hype up the crowd. "Jason Kreese moves into the lead! But Robby Keene has shown a lot of courage and is refusing to give up! Who will win and move on to the finals?!"

"Ready! Fight!" The referee gives the signal.

Jason charges at Robby, who gets out of the way.

Robby tries to land a hook kick on Jason, but Jason blocks it.

Jason does a side kick, but Robby manages to block the kick.

Robby closes the distance between them by doing a forward roll.

What he does next is a surprise to Jason and everybody watching the match.

Robby does a handstand with one arm and kicks his legs out.

He manages to catch Jason in the chin.

The impact of the kick sends Jason falling backwards.

The referee calls a halt to the match. "Point! 2 – 2!"

Jason is slow to get to his feet.

He checks his jaw.

Luckily, everything seemed to be fine.

"That was an amazing kick from Robby Keene! This match is tied at 2 – 2! They're both great fighters, but only one of them can make it to the finals! Will it be Jason Kreese? Or will it Robby Keene?" Darryl announces.

Sensei and Daniel both call for a timeout. "Time!"

Robby walks over to Daniel while Jason walks over to Sensei.

"You're doing good, but you got hit with that last move. He's had to come from behind twice, which means that the pressure might be getting to him. Just keep on him and you'll eventually break through. And don't get hit again, obviously. I believe in you." Sensei gives Jason a pat on the shoulder.

Jason nods. "I'm not going to let you down, Sensei."

"Win, lose, it doesn't matter. I'm going to be proud of you no matter what. But fight to win, okay?" Sensei says.

Jason smiles. "Of course."

He walks back to his line.

Jason sees that Robby's conversation with Daniel has finished up and the other teenager is walking back to his line.

They get into fighting stances.

"Ready! Fight!" The referee shouts.

Jason and Robby charge at each other.

Robby tries to land a flying kick on Jason, but Jason manages to dodge it.

Jason blocks another kick from Robby and tries to land a kick.

Robby blocks the kick and tries to grab Jason's leg.

Jason breaks free from Robby's grip and tries to kick Robby in the face.

Robby blocks the kick.

Jason blocks a kick from Robby with an elbow.

He tries to punch Robby.

Robby blocks the punch and tries to counter with a spinning backfist.

Jason blocks it and darts in before trying to land a punch of his own.

Robby blocks the punch yet again.

They're almost in a stalemate.

Until Jason takes a couple of steps back and runs forward.

He manages to hit Robby with a dropkick that sends him backwards.

The referee calls a halt to the round. "Point! 3 – 2! Winner!"

Jason gets back to his feet.

"That was one hell of a fight! Jason Kreese is the first Cobra Kai student to make it to the finals!" Darryl yells.

Jason walks to the centre of the ring, as does Robby.

They bow to each other before shaking hands.

Jason walks back over to where the other Cobra Kai students are standing while Robby walks back over to where Daniel is standing.

He watches as Robby and Daniel go to find somewhere to watch the second semifinal match.

Sensei stays on the mat.

Jason walks up to Miguel. "Good luck. Hopefully you'll win your semifinal and we'll face each other in the finals."

"Thanks." Miguel says.

Jason gives Miguel a pat on the back. "You're welcome."

He watches as Miguel walks on to the mat.

Xander walks onto the mat as well.

"This is the second semi-final of the boys' All-Valley tournament! It will be Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai Karate versus last year's champion Xander Stone from Topanga Karate! The winner of this match goes to the finals and will be facing Jason Kreese from Cobra Kai Karate! Let's go!" Darryl hypes up the crowd.

The referee quickly gives Miguel and Xander instructions. "Face me, bow. Face each other, bow."

Miguel and Xander face the referee and bow before they face each other and bow.

"Ready! Fight!" The referee calls out.

Miguel and Xander get into fighting stances.

They circle around each other looking for an opening to strike.

Miguel is the first one to break the deadlock.

He aims a punch at Xander that gets blocked relatively easily before he decides to start throwing punches and seeing if they land or not.

Miguel manages to get Xander to back up slightly.

Xander counterattacks with punches and Miguel blocks the counters.

He puts some distance between them before he goes for a flying kick.

Miguel manages to kick Xander in the stomach, causing him to double over.

The referee calls a halt to the round. "Point! 1 – 0!"

Miguel watches as Xander stands back up again.

They both get on their lines.

"Ready! Fight!" The referee exclaims.

Xander starts flipping around Miguel, but Miguel manages to keep his nerve and lands a spinning hook kick to Xander's ribs when he gets close enough.

Which causes him to fall to the mat.

The referee makes the call. "Point! 2 – 0!"

Miguel watches as Xander gets back on his feet.

They walk back to their lines.

"Ready! Fight!" The referee shouts.

Miguel knows that he has Xander on the ropes and goes on the offensive.

He tries to land a kick on Xander, but Xander manages to get out of the way.

Miguel aims more kicks at Xander, but those kicks get blocked pretty quickly.

Xander tries to flip around Miguel again, but Miguel manages to catch him with another kick.

The referee stops the match. "Point! 3 – 0! Winner!"

"Miguel Diaz has completely swept away last year's champion and has earned a spot in the finals! He'll be facing Jason Kreese for the chance to win the boys' All-Valley tournament! We're just going to have a short break before the finals!" Darryl announces.

Miguel watches as Xander storms off the mat.

He walks over to Sensei.

Sensei has a proud look on his face. "You did a really good job out there! And I'm proud of you."

"Thanks, Sensei." Miguel says.

Sensei looks happy. "You're welcome. The final match is going to be starting soon, so you might want to talk things over with Jason and get a drink of water or something."

"I'll do that. I think Jason could probably use a break as well." Miguel replies.

Sensei nods. "Don't take too long."

Miguel walks over to where Jason is standing with the other Cobras.

"Well, I won. Which means that we're facing each other in the finals." Miguel addresses Jason directly.

Jason nods. "Yeah."

"Only one of us can win. But we're still going to be friends no matter what happens." Miguel says.

Jason smiles. "Exactly."

"Those were two awesome semifinals." Hawk interjects.

Leonard agrees. "Hell yes! Two Cobra Kai students are going to be in the finals!"

"I'm sure that you guys are going to give it your all." Claire says.

Aisha joins in the conversation. "Miguel and Jason might be friends, but they're going to be opponents for the final."

"Well, I guess we'd better leave you to it." Claire interjects.

Miguel nods. "Thanks."

They let Jason and Miguel go and get water.

There was still plenty of time before the final match started.

The students and Senseis of the other dojos were standing in different parts of the All-Valley Sports Arena waiting for the final match to start.

Sensei was standing on the mat.

Jason and Miguel weren't sure if he'd either pick one of them to coach or if he would just observe the match as it unfolded.

Then again, it probably didn't matter either way.
