Chapter 16: "Girl's Night Gone Wild"

Ruby grinned, practically bouncing in her seat. "Alright, ladies," she declared, "tonight's adventure is something special. No boys allowed! This one's for Team RWBY and Nora only! We're going on a Girl's Night Out!"

The girls exchanged excited glances, and even Nora couldn't help but let out a cheer. It sounded like the perfect adventure, and everyone was ready for some fun.

Ruby continued, "Here's how it's going to go. You're all going to find the perfect outfits for the occasion. You know, something fun, stylish, and perfect for a night of celebration! Then, you're going to head to the village of Shady Lake to find the best spot for your Girl's Night. There's only one problem—when you arrive, things are not going to go as smoothly as you might expect. But that's part of the fun!"

The girls immediately began to play along with their characters, fully embracing the adventure ahead.

Yang's Character (Mira Stormstrike): Yang was the first to speak up. "I'm going bold. I need something that screams power and confidence—something that says, 'I'm ready to party, but don't mess with me.'"

Ruby grinned. "You find a sleek, leather dress—tight in all the right places, and with a dramatic cape that flares out when you move. It's tough and stylish, just like you."

Weiss's Character (Seraphina Frost): Weiss took her turn. "I want something elegant, but with a little edge. You know, I can't just blend in!"

Ruby smiled. "You pick out a shimmering, ice-blue gown with delicate silver accents. It's graceful and sophisticated, but there's a regal aura to it. The hemline is cut just right, hinting at your confidence."

Blake's Character (Selene Nightshade): Blake leaned forward, her expression serious. "I need something that reflects my inner mystery. Something that says, 'I'm here… but I'm also not.'"

Ruby nodded. "You find the perfect dress—black, sleek, and form-fitting, with silver stitching that glints in the light. It's dark, but with just enough shimmer to catch people's attention. You know how to make a quiet entrance."

Nora's Character (Thalassa): Nora jumped up, grinning. "I need something fun, something that screams 'I'm ready to dance and have a good time!' Maybe with a touch of power, though!"

Ruby laughed. "You find a fiery red tunic, magical runes sewn into the fabric. It's both energetic and bold, with a lively glow to it that's perfect for someone as exuberant as you."

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha smiled thoughtfully. "For me… I want something that combines elegance and strength. It should be both beautiful and practical, like a warrior who's ready to have a little fun."

Ruby grinned. "You find a perfect green gown—elegant and shimmering as you move, but with slits on the sides for mobility. It's the perfect balance between grace and strength."

With their outfits chosen, Ruby continued, "You all look amazing! Now it's time to head to Shady Lake to find the best place to celebrate. You've heard rumors of a village nearby that's perfect for a night out. On your way there, however, something strange happens."

Ruby paused, building the suspense. "As you're walking along the road, Elysia—Pyrrha's character—stumbles upon something strange hidden under some leaves."

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha, looking intrigued, bent down to investigate. "What's this? A glowing vial? What's it doing here?"

Ruby's voice dropped into a whisper. "It's a small, glowing vial with a note attached that says, 'Drink at your own risk.'"

The group stared at each other. "Who's going to drink it?" Ruby asked.

Yang's Character (Mira Stormstrike): Yang raised an eyebrow. "I'll drink it. I'm not afraid of a little potion."

Blake's Character (Selene Nightshade): Blake smirked. "I'm good. I've learned to be suspicious of strange vials."

Nora's Character (Thalassa): Nora pouted. "I'll pass. I'm not risking getting turned into a frog again."

Pyrrha, eager to dive into the adventure, quickly took the plunge. "I'll drink it," she said with a grin, fully embracing her character. "What's the worst that could happen?"

Ruby raised her eyebrows. "Alright then, Pyrrha. You drink the potion. But first, roll a luck check."

Pyrrha grabbed her dice, giving them a good shake before letting them fly. The dice clattered to a stop. Ruby's face fell as she read the result. "Uh… you rolled a Natural 1, Pyrrha."

The room went dead silent for a moment before everyone burst out laughing.

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha's face dropped as she put on an exaggerated, old woman's voice. "Wait—what?! I did what?!" She immediately hunched over, groaning and clutching her back. "I feel… so old!"

Ruby, still laughing, couldn't resist. "Well, Pyrrha, congratulations. You've aged 67 years in the blink of an eye. You're now 85 years old."

The group howled with laughter as Pyrrha's character let out an exaggerated groan. "Oh, my legs! These damn things! I've been walking for five minutes and I already feel like I need a walker! This is bullshit—this whole Girl's Night is gone to shit!"

Pyrrha's voice cracked as she cursed about her aching joints, and the group was in absolute stitches.

Yang's Character (Mira Stormstrike): Yang gasped for breath between giggles. "Wait, didn't this happen to Jaune once?"

Ruby nodded, still laughing. "Yeah. It's a recurring theme. But now, there's a new twist to this potion: You can't lie. At all."

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha, unable to stop herself, grinned mischievously. "You know what's nice about being 85? You don't have to lie. And you can say whatever the hell you want. My knees are killing me!"

The group laughed even harder, loving the absurdity of the moment.

Suddenly, Ruby paused, describing something else. "But wait! Just as you're all laughing at Pyrrha's new-old age, you're hit by a bright flash of light. It's almost blinding, but it doesn't seem to have any immediate effect. That is, until Pyrrha looks down at her boots."

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha groaned dramatically. "What now?! What the hell is happening?!"

Ruby's voice grew more serious. "Elysia, your boots are now stuck to your feet. You can't take them off."

The room erupted into laughter again as Pyrrha's character looked down at her boots in horror.

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha, fully embracing the situation, threw her hands up. "Yang! Get these boots off me! NOW!"

Yang's Character (Mira Stormstrike): Yang laughed, but her face lit up with determination. "I got this!" She made an attempt to perform a strength check and rolled the dice. The result was… not good. "Well, that didn't work."

Pyrrha, in-character, yelped in frustration. "Oh, for the love of the gods—my feet! Yang, I'm begging you, get the grease from my bag and use it on my boots!"

Yang looked skeptical. "Wait, bacon grease? Are you serious? That's your solution?"

Pyrrha, now in full-on panic mode, screamed, "Yes! Just do it!"

With a resigned sigh, Yang grabbed the bacon grease and began to rub it into Pyrrha's boots.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Yang asked, clearly uncomfortable.

Pyrrha's voice remained firm. "Just do it, please! My feet are dying!"

Ruby, still laughing, decided to skip the luck check. "Okay. You know what? Forget it. The bacon grease works. The boots come off."

Yang looked at her hands in disgust. "This… this is the worst thing I've ever had to do in this campaign."

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha sighed in relief. "Oh, thank you, Yang. I can finally breathe again."

Yang gagged, wiping her hands on her shirt. "Yeah, don't mention it. As much as I want to help, I never want to do that again."

Pyrrha, still unable to lie, smiled. "You know what? That actually felt amazing. Weirdly painful, but amazing."

Yang looked at her, completely horrified. "Elysia is… disturbing. Very disturbing."

Pyrrha grinned mischievously. "And I can't lie about it."

That sent the group into another round of uncontrollable laughter.

Ruby smiled, trying to calm down. "Okay, okay. The potion's effects wear off. Elysia's now back to normal, but she's still got her 85-year-old wisdom—at least for the moment."

Pyrrha's Character (Elysia): Pyrrha let out a deep sigh of relief. "At least I still have my strength… even if my back is killing me."

Everyone continued to laugh, knowing they would never forget the chaos of this particular Girl's Night Out.
