At the Superstars of Wrestling arena, Curtis Hale looked at The Ultimate Warrior, seeing how things were going to turn in this story. Fighting for a chance at the Intercontinental Championship, he noticed how his wild style, while looking at all the people around the arena, seemed to be more divided than usual. Looking around, he just closed his eyes, while at the same time, began to prepare himself, mentally, seeing his greatest opportunity coming up with everything. Hearing the bell ringing, both wrestlers began the chain grapple, on which Curtis saw how The Ultimate Warrior was a wrestler, more different than he expected. Energic, unexpected, with a high charisma, making sure that the match he was going to fight now, wasn't like the other ones he dealt with. Going through a certain movement, Curtis continued the grapple, being sure that he would get the advantage. The stalemate persisted, and in the meantime, made it clear how things were going into a path, described as "unlikely", in certain means.
Suddenly, the Warrior headbutted his opponent, pushing Curtis behind, on which he ran into Curtis, landing a clothesline on his face, throwing him on the floor. Indeed, everything seemed to be going into a wild match. In silence, Curtis grabbed the ropes, getting up and with this, began to hit several punches, in a way that managed to showcase how the rising star seemed to be going with all the bets on the table to make sure that victory would come to him in this story. Seeing the Warrior going with everything in front of him, Curtis hit his opponent's face with his right leg, pushing the Warrior behind, on which both wrestlers began to hit several punches into their faces, showing how they were on equal terms in this fight.
Hitting his chest with his right hand, The Ultimate Warrior looked around, making sure that everything could go in his path. Landing a knee strike into Curtis's chest, he was pushed behind, showing how the young wrestler was struggling to keep a certain pace against one of the fastest rising stars in WWE during these last few months. Making sure on how his thoughts to get a title shot at Royal Rumble, was seeming to go all wrong, in theory, during the match. But Curtis wanted a chance at glory. His first title could be one for the ages, if he could do everything right during this story.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you're watching Superstars of Wrestling, live from Atlanta, Georgia, in what can be described as an unexpected match, no one could ever predict it would happen! Right now, Curtis Hale, one of the newest rising stars of World Wrestling Federation, is going on, toe to toe against The Ultimate Warrior, with a shot at the Intercontinental Title at line on the Royal Rumble if Curtis wins this bout!" Monsoon continued to say, becoming more and more surprised at every strike, showing how things went into a different path. Unlike the other fights, although this one had began with chain grapples, the two wrestlers were pushing themselves through a certain limit, fighting a match far more surprising than the count.
"But one thing is certain, Monsoon: Will Curtis Hale, having made this challenge to one of the greatest stars of WWF, be able to win this match and get a chance at the IC Belt? After all, winning this title, in a short period of time, could mark Curtis as something more, but right now, we're in for a wild ride!"
Hitting the Warrior in the chest with a kick, he was pushed into the ropes, on which Curtis ran into him, trying to hit a clothesline, however, in a sudden movement, Ultimate Warrior landed a kick into Curtis's face, pushing the young wrestler into the floor, in disbelief at the scene. Suddenly, the Warrior ran into Curtis, after he got up once again, managing to land several punches into his body, pushing him through the ropes, making the audience gasp at this twist during the bout. Grabbing the Warrior's head, Curtis began to land his punches onto his face, putting both of them into a situation far more unlikely than usual.
Pushing Curtis into a turnbuckle, The Ultimate Warrior let a grin in his face come up, on which he put his opponent on the top of the turnbuckle, making sure that he would get the last laugh. Getting up, he stood, face to face, looking at his opponent, with a confidence that showcased how things were going and in this situation, The Ultimate Warrior was making sure that he had the control on this bout now.
"Twists and turns indeed. Only a few minutes after the match began, The Ultimate Warrior turned the tide in his favor and he put Curtis "Thunder" Hale into a bad spot during the bout. Remember, folks: If Curtis Hale wins, he's gonna have a shot at the Intercontinental Title at the Royal Rumble, and indeed, he needs to win at all costs!" Jesse Ventura, at that moment, looked at the scene, making his doubt and surprise on his face, becoming more curious during the match.
Before the Warrior could realize a suplex on the top of the turnbuckle, suddenly, Curtis pushed his opponent behind, on which The Warrior fell on the ring, making everyone gasp in disbelief at the scene, trying to understand what could happen in this story, another twist no one could expect. Even the members in the commentary table, looked at the scene, surprised at that moment.
"What is happening? What is happening?" Monsoon asked, surprised with one more twist in the fight.
"For once, I don't know what to say here!" Ventura, on the other hand, could describe things, as a match, more taken by energy, fire, and intense feelings that managed to prove how WWF, being one of the fastest rising organizations in these points, still had some surprises that could leave a certain shock, unlike any other.
Even though he could identify himself as something more stronger, he knew he had to take a shot. With this, Curtis prepared himself and jumped from the turnbuckle, hitting a Splash on the Ultimate Warrior that showed how he would be willing to do everything to get his shot at the IC Title, proving his willpower and strength to follow ahead during the match. Suddenly, he went for the pinfall, ready to go for the "kill" and make sure that he would have a chance.
"1-"
Suddenly, The Ultimate Warrior kicked out of the pinfall, only in the 1 count, making Curtis stand in disbelief at the scene, noticing how things were going. Hitting his hands through the floor, the Warrior lifted his body, still on the floor, smiling, in a situation that showed how Curtis underestimate his opponent and with this, he stood up, making Curis do the same thing, on which he began to hit several chops on the Warrior, pushing him behind, and after throwing his opponent on the ropes, Curtis grabbed The Ultimate Warrior, hitting a suplex on his rival. Confident, for a certain minute, Curtis was seeing a wider picture, ready to grab the win.
Going for the pinfall, before the three count, The Warrior kicked out once more, and with this, he began to rise up, hitting a punch on Curtis's face, and pushing him on the floor, making Curtis roll away, getting into the ropes, and lifting himself once again. Indeed, things seemed to be going, into a path, unpredictable for both of them. But unable to give up at last. That was his willpower, being channeled once more to do what he needed to do: Win the match, no matter what. Both wrestlers began to hit one another, once more, several punches into their bodies, until things reached a stalemate, unpredictable in all ways. Curtis then, realized another suplex and with this, before The Ultimate Warrior reverted the move, throwing his opponent on the floor. With this, Curtis managed to lift himself up once again, until suddenly, his opponent landed a clothesline, leaving everyone in disbelief.
"Dingo Bomber! The Ultimate Warrior is on fire! Things are about to get more wild now! Be ready, folks!" Jesse Ventura began to talk once again, noticing how the match took a turn that showed how both wrestlers were fighting with everything in their bodies and souls.
"We said several times: When this man is in the ring, when The Ultimate Warrior enters a match, his energy is something unimaginable by any means possible! Just see how he's manhandling his opponent now!" Monsoon answered, seeing the disbelief in front of his eyes. Curtis then began to get up once more, feeling the disbelief in his mind, and with this, he ran into a rope, and went into The Ultimate Warrior, hitting a clothesline and knocking his opponent on the ground.
Hitting his right fist on the chest, Curtis began to scream, feeling a kind of euphoria, taking his body, seeing how this match turned into something surprising. A push, a rise, that proved how in only a few matches after last month, things managed to reach a new level on how Curtis was ready to do everything to prove that he could be title material. Looking at the people around, he smiled, more confident. However, as he turned around, suddenly, The Ultimate Warrior hit his face with a clothesline, seeing how distracted Curtis was at that moment.
"That's one for the ages!" Ventura said, until suddenly, Curtis got up once more, landing a headbutt on Warrior's face, pushing him behind and with this, he began to prepare himself, almost like a moment, on which he could risk everything. - "What's he doing?" Suddenly, Curtis grabbed his rival's arms, going for his finisher. - "He's going for the win!"
Before the could hit his finisher, in a swift movement, The Ultimate Warrior headbutted Curtis, and started to hit several punches on his body, pushing his opponent through the turnbuckle, however, the impact on the turnbuckle, made Curtis pass out, knocked in the ring, making things more surprising than the people around, alongside with the commentary table, could predict on this story now. The applause and cheers from the audience in the arena, things were hitting a wild turn, no one could expect. With this, The Ultimate Warrior ran into the ropes, on one side of the ring and hit his finisher, landing a splasher on Curtis, granting some cheers from the people.
"Ultimate Splash! The Ultimate Splash, my god!" Monsoon screamed, at every breath of his lungs, taken by a shock, showcasing how things became more unexpected than usual.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is not only a match, it's now a spectacle, showing the prowess and agility of two men, willing to bet all of their chips, just to grab victory, from something far more, more surprising than we can predict. Or everyone who's watching all of us now, I suggest all of the people on your couches and homes, start grabbing some more snacks, because this ride is not over, folks! You can be sure of it!" Jesse Ventura, at that moment, felt his body more nervous than he expected, only seeing a wild twist that proved how the path Curtis Hale and The Ultimate Warrior were following during the match, making sure that no matter what, victory would come at all costs.
With a grin on his face, smiling in a confident way, The Ultimate Warrior went for the pinfall, proving that his optimism and energy were overcoming Curtis, in a way no one could ever predict, but also, putting into motion, a victory, that probably, would cement once and for all, the idea that Curtis went too far in his challenge and underestimated his rival. The referee then reached near the wrestlers, ready to count the pin. Just like if things were going into a end, no one could expect.
"1! 2!-"
Suddenly, against all odds, Curtis kicked out of the pinfall, proving that he still had some energy to continue and go toe to toe against his rival, leaving The Ultimate Warrior in disbelief. It was clear that this story was far from over. On the ground, he hit a strike with his right hand, still open on the chest, and then, slapped The Ultimate Warrior, pushing him to the ground. Feeling his body trembling for a moment, Curtis got up once more, almost proving how he still had something to prove. Title material, indeed But to keep going into his plan to entertain the audience, no matter what could happen in the bout. With this, The Ultimate Warrior grabbed the ropes and stood up once again, looking into his opponent with everything he had in his body.
Two athletes, giving everything they had in their hearts and minds, proving to be willing to risk everything to prove who would get the win in this match, but to Curtis, his mind was set in this objective. Only managing to see how The Ultimate Warrior was indeed, a force to be reckoned with in all means possible on WWF. One that he wouldn't underestimate again. The two continued to land several punches in their bodies, on which suddenly, Curtis grabbed his opponent, landing a knee strike on The Ultimate Warrior, managing to throw his rival into the ropes. With this, he ran into The Warrior, however, his opponent did the same thing, hitting a clothesline on their faces, on which the two fell on the ground, completely knocked out in the middle of the ring.
One more twist that showcased how this fight had become something else. To Curtis, it was one of the greatest moments in this match, however, it was clear how things were far from over. No matter what would happen, this fight would have a winner, no matter the costs.
But how will it be the final outcome?
