Arkadimon's digivolution is impressive, Kaiser concedes, watching the much larger, stronger Digimon lunge after Quartzmon. The digimon barely interact before Arkadimon Perfect Mode digs his hands into Quartzmon's side, digging in deeper and deeper until something- shifts. Quartzmon stops short, staring up at Arkadimon as if he's just altered everything in that digimon's existence.
Maybe he has, Kaiser will never know. None of them will as Quartzmon turns pale, lifeless.

"What did you do?" Damian asks his partner, startling all of them out of the fugue they'd fallen into. "What..."

"He has no viral functions," Luke says suddenly, all of them turning to stare at him.

"Excuse me?" Damian asks.

"Arkadimon froze Quartzmon's data," Luke says numbly. "He... he's no longer active as a living digital creature. He... wiped him from existence. His body is still here, but it is just a shell."

Damian stares at him. "What... what the fuck?"

Luke seems as shaken as the rest of them. "Amazing," he mumbles. "Horrible, yes, but... amazing." He looks shrewdly at Arkadimon, shaking his head. "And your partner hasn't even reached his strongest form yet... if ever he should..." Luke lets the rest of his thought go unspoken, but the rest think they understand.

It's a terrifying prospect, that he could become even stronger, with even more powerful abilities. And if he should lose control, like other very powerful Digimon have in the past, well... Kaiser isn't even sure what to guess they'd do in a situation like that.
