"There. All Done." I muttered to myself before walking back to my class's campsite with the firewood in my hands. I had been tasked with collecting as much of it as possible so that me and the rest of my classmates would have light until it was time to rest. I had roughly fifty pounds of it in my hands. It wasn't as if that was my maximum limit. No. I could carry well over two hundred pounds of this.

However, it appeared that fifty pounds was the limit that my classmates could carry. And since I had no intention of blowing my cover as the hero, (Or the bunny) I had no choice but to limit myself to this much. But I didn't mind that. It was more than enough for the rest of the night. I was rather excited to get back to the campsite because we were going to roast some marshmallows.

'Yum!' I thought internally with what was surely a smile on my face as it was as if I could taste the marshmallows in my mouth. I was very much looking forward to such an exquisite delicacy. At least it was more me because it wasn't all that often that I could eat marshmallows. After all I had to maintain my physique for any threats that await. Speaking of that, I really had no idea what was waiting for me on this island…

… But when I found out, it would result in my first true battle in this world. And that time was not far away. In fact-

"Ah." I gasped as I noticed droplets of rain fall onto me as I instinctively knew that it was going to pour soon. I then began rushing back to the campsite so that the firewood wouldn't be ruined. That's right. That battle…

… was very close at hand.

"I'm back, guys!" I announced to my classmates who were all interacting with each other just as they did many times in the past. But something was off. It didn't feel like everyone was here. That feeling incurred me to check if all my classmates were present, and after counting, I realized that there were only twenty-three of them. (Twenty-four if you counted me.) This meant that someone was missing, and it didn't take me long to figure out who it was. After all, she was the very first friend I made in this world. And her name was-

"Hey, where's Horikita?" I asked as my voice was beginning to be drowned out by the rain. But I was heard by-

"Why is it that you want to know where that bitch is?" My eyes went wide upon hearing those words. I couldn't believe it as I looked around to see who said that. And to my utmost surprise, Kushida was right next to me with her usual wide smile on her face.

'T-That voice… no. I-It couldn't have come from Kushida… right?' I thought internally with what was undoubtably a perplexed look on my face. But then again, that voice… I heard it right next to me, as if it whispered those words into my ear. And the only person remotely close to me right now is Kushida. B-But that's impossible. The voice didn't even remotely resemble the one she always uses. So, it must have just been the wind.

'So what? Would you rather shower out in the open where anyone can take a peep at you? Wow. I didn't expect you were that kind of girl, Horikita~San.' Then again… is it actually impossible? Now, that I think about it, Kushida never really talked to Horikita for some reason. This was weird because Kushida was incredibly friendly even when talking to the person who was labeled the class 'egghead.' I.e. me. It didn't make much sense why she would avoid Horikita and speak to her this way…

… Unless, she has some sort of a grudge with he-

"Oh Midoriya! What is it that has you looking so confused? It's just little ol me. Everyone's best friend, Kikyo Kushida! But to answer your question, Horikita~San said she was going to the waterfall. That's all there is to it. Hahaha." Kushida explained before giggling as her laughter calmed my nerves.

"Oh, I see. Thanks, for letting me know, Kushida." I replied with a smile on my face while closing my eyes. But when I opened them, it was as if for a second Kushida's smile vanished without a trace. And then…

"Are you really that gullible?" Kushida spoke but I wasn't able to make out her words as the rain was beginning to speed up.

"Huh?" I muttered with what was certainly a confused look on my face, but Kushida flashed her usual smile at me before walking away. I was left in a daze as I genuinely had no clue what Kushida said to me during that brief interval of time but whatever it was…

… It made me feel a bit uncomfortable. But then…

"MIDORIYA! WHAT ARE YOU DOIN?! GET UNDER THE UMBRELLA!" Sudo shouted at the top of his lungs which brought me back to reality. It was then that I realized that it was pouring, and I was getting drenched. Meanwhile all of my classmates (With the exception of Horikita, of course) Were all huddled together under one big umbrella. I wasted no more time rushing over there and escaping the rain in the process.

"Thanks, for letting me know, Sudo. I owe you one." I spoke with what was surely a smile on my face.

"You should have listened to me before! Just what were you doin just standin there?!" Sudo snapped back with an agitated look on his face. I immediately recognized him slurring some of his words, as his Kansai accent kicking in. Which meant that he was worried about me. I should reassure him.

"I was- I spoke but I was interrupted before I could finish speaking.

"We were talking for just a bit. Didn't you notice? I was just explaining him where Horikita~San was. Right, Midoriya~Kun?" Kushida spoke with her usual smile as she closed her eyes. I then nodded in affirmation. Sudo clicked his tongue in response before muttering 'I see.' With nothing else to do, my classmates decided to talk amongst each other to pass the time.

"You have got to be kidding me. I just painted my nails and now of all times it rains? There goes all of my nail polish. Just down the drain." Karuizawa muttered with what was undoubtedly an annoyed look on her face. Her boyfriend, Hirata noticed this.

"Don't worry. I think you look beautiful with or without it." Hirata replied incurring several of the girls to say 'Aw!' In response with heart shaped eyes. But what Hirata said to her didn't exactly warm Karuizawa's chest.

"Thanks. I appreciate that. But that doesn't exactly get back my nail polish, now does it?" Karuizawa replied while tossing one of her bangs away from her face and looking at her now drenched fingers with a disappointed look. This incurred the wrath of the other girls as they said 'BOO!' In response but she merely muttered 'Hmph' under her breath. I noticed all of this but just as I was about to look away me and Karuizawa locked eyes with each other.

"What are you looking at?" Karuizawa asked with an unamused look on her face. I blinked my eyes a few times in response before coming up with something on the fly.

"N-Nothing in particular." I replied before averting my eyes and whistling a bit. Yeah. That was the best that I could think of at the time. Karuizawa muttered 'Really?' as I looked at some of my other classmates. Specifically-

"Wow! It's pouring! Man, what are we all doing here when we could be enjoying ourselves in the rain?!" Onodera exclaimed with a look of childish wonder on her face. It made me worry about her to an extent as she must have gotten colds all the time. But I wasn't the only one who noticed this as just a few seconds after she finished speaking-

"Okay. You first." Hasebe spoke with a mischievous grin before pushing Onodera out of the umbrella's protection and into the pouring rain.

"GAH! IT'S FREEZING!" Onodera shouted at the top of her lungs as she almost jumped out of her skin over how cold it was. She then immediately bolted back to where she was standing not even five seconds earlier.

"What's the big idea pushing me out like that?! Are you trying to abandon me like some unwanted puppy?!" Onodera snapped back as she growled like a tiger at Hasebe, the latter of which didn't react in any meaningful way to the former's complaints.

"Your words. Not mine." Hasebe replied before finger flicking Onodera right across the head as the latter muttered 'Ow.' In response. As well as 'Why you little…' Before pulling up her sleeves. But I wasn't too worried since they seemed like best friends even though they share insults with each other from time to time. Hey! Just like me and Kacchan! Just thinking about my best friend brought a smile to my face. And it was exactly that reason…

'BZZZZZZZZZZT!' That I was completely caught off guard by what came next. A loud ringing noise pierced my ears as me and my fellow classmates wasted no time in covering them. But while this sound was unfortunately familiar, it still caught me off guard for the reason that it was the middle of the afternoon and that there were still a few hours until it was 8 PM. (When the ringing noise was supposed to alert us for roll call) Then why was it ringing now? I thought all of that before my question was given an answer.

"THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THERE HAS BEEN A SIGHTING OF A BLACK BEAR. ALL STUDENTS MUST REPORT BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE ISLAND RIGHT NOW. I REPEAT… THIS IS NOT A DRILL." The voice on the loudspeaker commanded. But this didn't make any sense. This island was supposed to be uninhabited! How can a bear be here?! But before I could say a single word-

"A-A bear?! B-But how can that be?! There wasn't like anything remotely dangerous around here!" Karuizawa was the first to express her worries as Hirata comforted her shortly afterwards. Many of my classmates voiced similar feelings but one in particular wasn't feeling all that scared.

"I think you guys are overreacting. I've personally been around bears before. They are so cute and cuddly!" Wang (Or more commonly known amongst the class as Mii-Chan) Voiced her opinions on the matter with a reassuring smile on her face.

"Yeah! Maybe panda bears are but I don't think you've gotten up close and personal with a Japanese black bear before?!" Onodera snapped back while shaking Mii-Chan as the latter yelled 'EEEEP!' With a look of utter freight on her face.

"Stop it. You're scaring Mii-Chan." Hasebe spoke before finger flicking Onodera on the back of her head. Incurring another 'Ow.' From the girl known for growling like a tiger. I wanted to say some words that would make everyone calm themselves but before I could think of any I was beaten to the punch by Hirata.

"Everyone! We will all be okay if we just do as we are told! The faculty must have taken precautions in the case of such a predicament! That is why we must get to the front of the island! Then we will all be protected! Worst case scenario, we board the cruise ship and then we're home free!" Hirata yelled out before charging toward the front of the island while holding Karuizawa's hand. My classmates took notice of this and instinctively followed after him. But I couldn't help but feel impressed as Hirata's natural leadership skills were on full display.

'I tried to be a leader for my class… but I haven't been all too good at it. Will I ever be able to be a leader like him?' I thought internally as my classmates passed me by, but it was then that I had a realization as everything began to make sense. Why would a bear suddenly show itself on this island when there were no reported sightings of it beforehand?

Not only that but this island was confirmed to be uninhabited and there were no creatures in the slightest other than some small fish in the rivers. Which is to say that this bear sighting seems rather unlikely. Not only that, but there's a key word that the loudspeaker communicated to us. 'Black.' Sure, black bears were the most common in Japan, but there was something else that's skin was black…

… A 'Nomu.' Just thinking of those utter monsters made me grit my teeth out of anger. But that wasn't even the worst part. There was also the fact that Horikita wasn't here. And that spurred me into action as I began running in the opposite direction of where my classmates were headed. Only to be stopped by-

"What the hell do you think you're doin?! There's a BEAR on this island! We all need to get out of here right no- Sudo yelled out, but I interrupted him before he could finish speaking.

"And abandon Horikita?! She's at the waterfall! That's a good mile away from us! Do you know what could happen to her in the time that it could take for her to reach us?! Let alone make it back to the cruise ship?!" I snapped back as I noticed Sudo gritting his teeth and bawling up his fist. And then…

"You don't think I know that?! But what can you or I or anyone else for that matter do against a fucking bear?! Just gettin close to one of those is suicide! Don't you know that?!" Sudo snapped back at me with a voice that was even louder than mine while gripping the top part of my tracksuit. In the midst of our shouting match our classmates took note of this and stared at us. But I didn't care. After all, just like how Sudo knew what I was trying to say…

… I knew exactly what he was trying to say!

"Of course, I do! And it's for that exact reason that I must protect Horikita from that! I'm not going to let her die just to save my skin, unlike yo- I yelled out but before I could finish speaking-

'BAM!' Sudo punched me right across the face. Our classmates witnessed this and were utterly speechless. Even I didn't know how to react as I could feel the stinging sensation on my cheek where Sudo hit me. But before I could say another word-

"You think I just want to save my skin and sacrifice Horikita to some fucking bear?! HUH?! Of course I don't! But I'm fucking scared man! We're all scared! That's why no matter what we do, it's only goin to make things worse! And to top it all off, just think if anyone of us gets killed because we threw ourselves at that bear?! She's goin to blame herself for the rest of her life! Horikita's really smart! She'll think of somethin! That's why we gotta trust her an- Sudo snapped back with a shout as he gripped my arm hard but before he could finish speaking-

'BAM!' I headbutted him! Much to his surprise and everyone else's surprise for that matter! But before he or anyone else could say another word, I beat them to the punch!

"That may be true but it's better than her dying! If I can do something ANYTHING to make sure she gets to survive then I'll gladly do it! Even if it means sacrificing myself! Because you see, Sudo, that's where you're wrong! I'm not scared of some bear! No one bit! That's why I'm going to save her even if it kills me!" I finished before charging forward as fast as I could and vanished from my class's line of sight. But in the process of doing so-

"I-Is he insane?" Karuizawa muttered to herself with a dumbfounded look on her face. Hirata couldn't say a word as he was truly impressed with Midoriya's bravery to the point that he was actually a bit jealous of him. But he wasn't the only one who thought that way. Because-

"Y-You suicidal bastard. You better not get yourself killed or I'll NEVER forgive you." Sudo muttered to himself with a defeated look on his face as the pain from Midoriya slamming his forehead against his own utterly paled in comparison to his friend showcasing such manliness in the face of certain doom. Not only that but Midoriya was actually going to try and save Horikita, the girl Sudo 'secretly' had a massive crush on. That fact made him feel utterly pathetic. Sudo then bit his lip so hard to the point it bled before running away with the rest of his classmates.

"Hahaha." Kushida chuckled quietly as she too made her exit while grinning ear to ear as she genuinely believed that this would be the end for both Horikita and Midoriya. That alone brought a smile to her face. But while none of her classmates noticed this, the imposter among them took note.

'Now, let's see how you'll do against that monster… Izuku Midoriya. Or should I say, the hero, Deku?" 'Ike' thought internally while running alongside the classmates that were never his to begin with. He knew very well what Midoriya was about to fight. The imposter deduced there was but a ninety nine percent chance that the hero would be killed by the behemoth…

… But this meant that there was a one percent chance that Midoriya would find some outlandish way to prevail against all odds. The killer wouldn't be able to see the 'results' of the fight that was about to break lose until it had concluded. But even though the odds were utterly stacked against the hero Deku…

… The imposter pretending to be Kanji Ike wondered how his fight against that 'Nomu' was about to play out.

'STEP! STEP! STEP! STEP! STEP!' I leaped through the trees as I closed in on the waterfall! I was already in my hero costume and fully prepared! (To explain I was wearing it under my tracksuit so all I had to do was take off the school tracksuit along the way. Though wearing two tracksuits was a bit uncomfortable but worth it.) It took me about a minute to cover the distance, even though the distance between the campsite and the waterfall was an entire mile away. Considering my previous feat from the first day, this was far beyond what I should be capable of, and you're right. The reason why I was able to do this right now was because-

'Learning how to control Obliterator? Ha! What a joke! Kid, do you honestly think you can get a handle on my Quirk when you've only had it for a few months and only used it a single time? Remember what I told you before, if you use one hundred percent of my power without getting used to it than your brain will become mashed potatoes. But if you want to go and get yourself killed, well, remember that I warned you.' The voice of Jokata echoed throughout my mind as I didn't let his words get to me like how they did before.

"Haaah…" I took a deep breath as I recalled a lesson that an old friend taught me a long time ago. I knew full well what it meant to use one hundred percent of a Quirk's power without adapting your body to it first. I learned that time and time again with One For All. That's why I'm ever so thankful that Gran Torino gave me the perfect strategy on how to overcome that!

'You're right. Up until now, I've used Obliterator just a single time. And that wasn't even the part of the ability that's similar to One For All. But just like OFA I learned that I should turn the switch on throughout my body! Imagining the heat that used to only be in one place…' I thought internally before my mind snapped back from the past and back to reality. And then…

'WHOOOOOSH!' I leaped several feet into the air as I noticed the Nomu approaching Horikita! I then gritted my teeth as I propelled back to the earth while spreading that heat throughout my body! I had a specific name for this type of move whenever I used OFA. However, OFA isn't my Quirk anymore. That's why I'm going to take the move that I figured out long ago and apply it to my new Quirk! And I'll call it-

'OBLITERATOR: FULL COWLING!' I thought internally before colliding back onto the earth and-

"SMASH!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as my fist connected with the Nomu's face! And then…

'WHAAAAAAM!' The Nomu was sent several meters away from Horikita and collided with the trees in front of her!

'BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!' One after another the trees were utterly decimated that their trunks hit against the Nomu as it vanished from my line of sight. I then took my place right in front of Horikita as I felt her eyes staring at my back. I didn't even have to look back at her to know that her jaw must have dropped to the floor. After all, Horikita is just a normal girl who's now caught up in a battle between two superbeings from another world. And it is for that reason why-

"There's no need to worry, Horikita. Hope has arrived! Because I'm here!" I declared proudly as I was going to protect her no matter what! That's what I had decided the moment I realized what threat was here on this island. I want nothing more than to save her. However, I'm not going to die. The people in this world don't have Quirks. (Or at least the majority of them don't.) That's why it is my duty to protect them because that is…

… EXACTLY WHAT A HERO WOULD DO! AND I'M THE HERO DEKU!

"H-How did you know my name?" Horikita spoke as my eyes shot wide open as I realized my fatal mistake. I have to think of something! AND QUICK!

"M-YOUR Classmates told me that you were by this waterfall, so I had no choice but to make sure you were protected by such a foul beast! HAHAHA!" I replied before laughing like All Might.

'THERE'S NO WAY SHE'S GOING TO BELIEVE SUCH A BOLD-FACED LIE!' I screamed internally as I always have been a terrible liar. But in the midst of thinking that-

"WATCH OUT!" Horikita shouted at the top of her lungs as my eyes focused on the monster that was charging straight at me! But I was more than ready to fight this Nomu! I used Full Cowling before. But this time I'll use-

'OBLITERATOR: SHOOT STYLE!' I thought internally before I swung my right leg at the Nomu!

'BAAAAAAAAAAAAM!' The Nomu's left fist, and my right leg collided with each other all the while Horikita watched us with astonishment in her eyes!

'WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!' But our attacks landing against each other unleashed a gust of wind that knocked Horikita off her feet and into the water! I noticed this after hearing the audible 'splash!' I wanted to make sure that she was okay, but I didn't have time! This monster was staring at me right in the face as it waited for me to slip up so that it could counter me! I couldn't afford to get hit because this world's medical technology wasn't nearly as advanced as my old world.

To make matters even worse, this world had no access to Recovery Girl! Who had managed to heal many of my devastating injuries in the past! Which means if this Nomu lands a direct hit onto me then I'll need weeks of hospital time to actually recover and that's the best-case scenario. Worst case, I'll die. And if I'm being honest with myself that's probably what will happen if I'm not able to defend myself in time! But that's not the only thing I've got to deal with.

"Augh." I groaned in pain as using Obliterator made it feel like pins and needles were being pierced into my brain. That's right. Jokata said using Obliterator could turn my brain into mashed potatoes. Which means every time I use it, I'm effectively taking a bit on the brain. My body may not be hurting all that much but that isn't exactly a great trade off. But even still, I'll take it. Because that pain…

… IS JUST MAKING ME MORE FOCUSED! AND I'LL USE THAT TO BEAT THAT NOMU!

'WHOOOOOOOSH!' I then kicked my left leg to propel myself off the ground as I went several meters into the air! But even then-

'WHOOOOOOOSH!' The Nomu followed after me! But I was counting on that! I knew that this monster wanted nothing more than to kill! After all, that's what all Nomus are designed to do! That's why I was prepared for this!

"Detroit…" I muttered while clenching my fist as hard as I could as the creature performed the same action. But before it could hit me-

"… SMASH!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I sent my fist right in its jaw and in the process-

'POW!' Sent it right back to the ground! The Nomu collided with earth as I stood on top of it!

'Now I have the advantage! I can win this! If I just land a few more hits, then I can defeat i- I thought internally before my thought process trailed off the instant that I noticed something familiar about this particular Nomu.

"Ah!" That's why I couldn't help but gasp out of fear. I was so caught up in the heat of the battle that I didn't realize that there was something all too familiar about this Nomu than the rest I had fought against before. Its face was similar to the Nomu from the Hosu City Incident, but its appearance was different! Those scars! I remember seeing those scars on the… oh my god…

'It's the USJ Nomu!' I thought internally as my eyes shot wide open. I genuinely couldn't believe it. I never thought I'd be seeing 'that Nomu' ever again. After all, this is the same monster that All Might fought and beaten! But even then, it took him going above and beyond to overcome it! No! There's just no way that I can beat that monster! I just started using Obliterator! I-I-I- But while I was quaking in my boots out of an overwhelming sense of fear. The USJ Nomu took this opportunity-

'BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!' And used its fist to break the ground beneath it! This loosened my hold on him and gave it the chance to attempt a counterattack! But one hit from that and I'm dead. No doubt about it. I'll be six feet under before I can give blink! But what am I supposed to do against that monster!? How can I win even when All Might struggled against it?! I can't! There's no way I can-

'WHOOOOOOOOSH!' I then instinctively leaped away from the USJ Nomu but just like any Nomu it followed after me as it had no intention of letting me escape! I then noticed it hurtling its massive fist as me! Oh crap! I have to dodge!

'WHOOOOOOOOSH!' The result was me dodging by the skin of my teeth but in the process of doing so my line of sight focused back onto the waterfall where Horikita was standing as her eyes were wide open. I then heard her mutter a certain word as everything around me froze in an instant.

"Midoriya?" There was no mistake about it. Horikita had said my name. Which must have meant that the USJ Nomu's attack from just before made my mask fall off. My identity was revealed to Horikita. I couldn't believe it. In just the span of a few seconds, everything had gone from bad to worse. There was no way that I was going to be able to lie my way out of this one. She knows. She's seen me in action. She's seen me perform feats that humans in this world could only dream of. So, it wasn't like Sakura who had been engulfed by the Sludge Monster at the time…

… Horikita now knows without a shadow of a doubt that I'm a superhuman. What's going to happen now? Sakura may have agreed to keep my secret, but will Horikita do the same thing? After seeing all of this? If she doesn't then what's going to happen? Will she have me arrested? Will I be forced to leave AN with no hope of ever returning all the while the Doctor is lurking there in secret? Even if I survive this…

… Will I even have a future in this world now?

'Ah.' I gasped internally as I noticed the monster's fist hurtling at me once more. Is this really how it's going to end? I don't want to die. But I don't want to lose everything I gained in this world either. This school. My friends. Horikita. I don't want to lose any of that. But, even more than that, I feel the same way as you do, Sudo…

… I don't want Horikita to hate me either-

"YOU CAN DO IT! DEKU!" Horikita shouted at the top of her lungs as my eyes shot wide open once more as I noticed Horikita but, in the process, I noticed that monster twisting its body as now it was heading straight for her with the sole intention of killing her. That's right. Even if all the odds are stacked against me to the point that I'm screwed… even still… I'm going to save Horikita… not just because that's what a hero would do… but because… she is…

… MY FRIEND!

'BAM!' I then grabbed the USJ Nomu's outstretched arm! The same one that it was going to use to kill Horikita! Because-

"AS IF I'D LET YOU KILL HER!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I gripped the creature's arm as hard as I could while using the other ability of my Quirk! That's when the Nomu made some unintelligible sound as it realized that one of its Quirk was being destroyed. And there was one in mind that I had to obliterate without a trace-

'Say goodbye to your shock absorption!' I thought internally as my fingers now began tearing the skin off of the USJ Nomu. It instinctively attempted to break free. But I knew that it was going to try and escape! So, that's why before it could-

"RRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" I roared at the top of my lungs as I used all the strength that I could muster while swinging the monster into the air before-

'CRAAAAACK!' Sending it back down to the earth and cracking the ground in the process! In the midst of that Horikita was watching me with utter amazement in her eyes. It was like a battle ripped straight out of that comic book she read again and again as a kid. She couldn't help but watch in awe as she felt like a kid again. And then…

'BAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!' I wasted no time to land right back onto the earth as the USJ Nomu was propelled slightly above the ground as if it was floating in mid-air. I had to finish this fight with this one attack. And that's what I was going to do.

'Do you wish to obliterate him?' The voice of Jokata echoed throughout my mind as I clenched my fist tightly. I then responded with a-

'YES!' And not even a second later I felt an overwhelming sense of power protruding from my clenched fist. I knew that this was do or die. I wouldn't be able to use one hundred percent of Obliterator's power without there being serious repercussions. That's why this fight had to end in one final grand slam. And that's…

… Exactly what I'm going to do.

"Hey Villain. I know you've heard these words before. But let me remind you of them one more time. Go Beyond! Plus…" I spoke but paused for a second as I sent my fist hurtling right at the USJ Nomu's chest! And then…

"… ULTRA!" I finished with a shout at the top of my lungs!

'WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM! I then drove my fist deeper and deeper into the monster's chest until-

'WHOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!' It was sent flying into the sky and hit several clouds in the distance! I then completely vanished from sight! The battle was over! And…

… I WON!

"Haah… haah… haah…" I gasped for breath as I collapsed to my knees. Horikita noticed this and rushed over to me.

"I-I don't understand. W-Why would you go so far?!" Horikita muttered as she was on the verge of tears. Not out of sadness but joy of still being alive. And it was for that exact reason why I did all of this.

"A hero… can do anything he sets his mind to." I replied with a weak smile on my face as Horikita's eyes went wide as she remembered that exact line that superhero said before defeating the villain. She was so utterly surprised that she almost failed to take note of Midoriya falling to the ground. But just in the nick of time, she caught him in her arms. In that moment, the adrenaline that propelled Deku to do everything had gone out and he lost consciousness. And in the midst of that-

"Thank you… thank you…" Horikita whispered with tears in her eyes before remembering her brother's words-

'Suzune. I'm genuinely surprised to see you made a friend. Or perhaps… you've replaced me as your hero with Midoriya-San.' It was upon remembering these words that the girl named Suzune Horikita finally accepted the fact that the young man named Izuku Midoriya was her-

Chapter 20: My Hero: Part 2

"… My Hero." Horikita finished with a smile on her face as her tears fell onto Midoriya's face who also had a smile of his own. Unbeknownst to me, since I was passed out and too focused on battling the USJ Nomu, I had no clue…

… That the entire battle was being witnessed by another person.

"… W-What the hell was that?!" The man named Kakeru Ryuuen muttered to himself out of sheer disbelief while hiding behind a tree. The consequences of this would soon become apparent.
