Right now, we were battling our way through the Dark Legion's base, ready to rescue our friend Lupe*
Sonic: That's the way to do it! We'll punch right through the middle! *Tails &T-Pup went withLyco& Queen Hathor*The way is clear! Tails, take your squad and do your thing! We'll keep them busy out here.*Huck & I went with Amy & Leeta* Ladies first!
Abigail: What a gentleman.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Sonic: This "Leadership" thing is fun! Heh-heh - Squad.
I hooked a Legionar by his wrist & slammed him into a tree& Huck flew around another one, making him dizzy*
Abigail: Don't get too used to it. When this is all over, you'll be back to De-Facto Leader.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Leeta took a gun of one of the Legionars, & slammed it into his stomach*
Leeta: Traitors! The Doctor scattered our people to the winds, and now you serve him?
Amy knocked away one with her hammer*
Amy: Raztionalize later, Leeta. Just keep them busy for now!
Sonic was giving one a noogiewhen we heard a familiar voice*
Razorklaw*off-screen* You again! *weall turned towards him* Twice you've made a fool of me. As GrandMaster of this chapter, my honor and my pride demand a re-match!
Sonic: Sure, if you don't want me to kick your butt again. I'm game. Seems like fighting lynxes in duels of honor is a new occupational hazard.
He & Razorklaw charged towards each other. A few minutes later, Sonic hit Razorklaw with a spin dash. Tails, T-Pup, Lyco, Queen Hathor (wearing her robes), & Lupe all ran out of the base*
Lyco: Looks like everyone is still standing!
Lupe: But we'll have to fight through an army to escape!
Tails: We should be fine if we -
Queen Hathor: Sonic! The Queen of the Felidae demands your attention!
Sonic: Uh-huh. This better be good, lady.
Razorklaw:Wait! We're not - OOMPH!
He hit Razorklaw in the chin with a bicyclekick,then picked up the Queen bridal style & ran into the jungle*
Queen Hathor: Into the jungle! I will be needed there.
Sonic: You better be right about that, Queenie.
While Sonic was helping the Queen, the rest of us were escorting Lupe to safety*
Amy: Oooh, that Hathor! She thinks she's so important!
Abigail: Well, she is royalty.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Tails: Amy, we need to cover Lupe escape back to her territory. On three, we'll double-back and -
Suddenly, we all heard a wolf howl. We looked ahead &saw Sonic & the Queen with an army, Wolves & Felidae combined*
Sonic: Sup?
Queen Hathor: Let fang and claw rule here, not species! Drive the traitorsback!
Sonic walked up to us while the battle was going on*
Sonic: Remember when Hathor told those cats they needed to ally with the wolves? Turns out both sides were willing to listen than we thought.
Amy: And you got Hathor to them just in time to lead the counter attack!
Abigail: Very clever.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Tails: And I got the tracker on the Death Egg! Eggman can't hide from us now.
Sonic: Awesome!
Next to us, Lupe & Queen Hathor were shaking hands*
Queen Hathor: Once our warriors return, you will have free passage back to your lands.
Lupe: Thank you, Your Majesty. Both for maintaining our truce, and for the sacrifices you made today.
Queen Hathor: Don't mention it. *her grip tightened around Lupe's hand*Ever. To anyone.
Lupe: Of course.*she then turned to us* I had hoped to see you all again on better terms. Can you stay to rest at all?
Sonic: Sorry, Lupe. Team Fighters is all about keeping the pressure on Eggy. We've gotta juice.
Lupe: I understand. We'll ensure no one slows you down.
We then waved goodbye & ran towards the Tornado, ready for our next adventure*
