Currently, we were just outside Feral Forest, dealing with a few straggling Egg Swats. Sonic destroyed them with his spin dashes & I was slicing off limbs with my hook swords. Amy was currently talking to T-Pup for some reason*
Amy: Amy Rose to Royal Military HQ. Calling fromFeral Forest to New Mobotropolis. Copy? *she then turned & started waving her arms like crazy* Tails! I need a down here! I don't think the transmission is sending!
Tails landed on the ground next to her*
Tails: What's up, Amy?
Amy: We've for Feral Forest under control for the most part. I want to send a warning to the others that the Death Egg is on the way.
Abigail: Good idea.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Sonic: Think you can boost the signal or something, Tails?
Tails: I can try. Eggman might be jamming in-bound transmissions though.
Amy: So . . . How does this work . . .?

Amy: This is Amy Rose. Do you read me? The Death Egg is coming. I repeat, the Death Egg is coming.

Me & the rest of Team Freedom stood in the park as the Death Egg hovered over New Mobotropolis*
Heavy:ORDERS, MA'AM? THIS IS A "FAMILY REUNION" I WOULD PREFER TO AVOID.
Sally: Stand by for now, Heavy. If Nicole were still online, I would've done this , I'm glad we have a force field.
Zeke: Same here.
She pressed a button on her wristwatch & the forced field went up around the city. Suddenly, the force field went back down & Egg Pods were dropped into the city. As soon as they landed, Egg Swats came out. We thenleaped into action*
Rotor: Team Freedom! Push them out of the city!
Rotor punched to the robots with his fists, Sally sliced with her Ring Blades, Bunnie fired her laser cannon, & the Plus Ultra Squad & I went back to back, destroying any Robot that came close to us. Suddenly, a Egg Swat fired a laserat Cream, but it missed. Cream screamed & covered her eyes. Big destroyed the robot with on punch, with Froggy on his head*
Big: That's not nice!
Cream: Thank you, Mister Big!
Big: You're welcome.
Bunnie: Cream, Ah think this is gettin' to be too much for you, Sugar.
Cream: I'm sorry for being scared! I still want to help!
Sally: And you can! I want you to start guiding citizens to the center of the city where the military is setting up defenses.
Cream: Yes, Princess! Right away! Come on, Cheese!
As soon as she was gone, Naugus decided to show his ugly mug*
Rotor: Can we help you, Naugus?
Ixis Naugus: Quite the opposite. I'm here to save you. *he then used a spell that turned two Egg Swats into green crystal* Behold the magical might of your Royal Wizard! Bow before the power of Ixis Naugus!*he laughed his creepy laugh. just then, he started talking to himself* Peh. Your petty taunts cannot distract me from my moment of victory. *Suddenly, he looked like he was in pain* Wh - AUGH! How are you doing this?
Suddenly, he collapsed*
Bunnie: Naugus! You made yer point. You're great against the Badniks. If yer waiting for us to say it, fine - we could use your help!
Naugus looked up, foaming at the mouth*
Ixis Naugus: It's . . . It's . . . The doctor! He must be sending some kind of . . . Wave . . . To vex me!
Rotor punched two more Egg Swats*
Rotor: I guess not saving you would be treason . . . Fall back to me, Team *we all ran up to Rotor* Big, get Naugus to the military perimeter, then come back here.
Big: Okay.
Heavy:SHOULD WE NOT FALL BACK AS WELL? OUR NUMBERS DWINDLE WHILE THE ENEMY'S DO NOT.
Sally: I want Eggman to fight for every inch he gains in our , you were with the Chaotix. Where's that take-all-challengers attitude?
Heavy threw Bomb at one of the Egg Swats*
Heavy:MY APOLOGIES, BUT AFTER FACING TOTAL DESTRUCTION TWICE, I FEAR THAT - AS THE EXPRESSION GOES - THE THIRD TIME MAY BE THE CHARM.
Bunnie fired her laser cannon*
Bunnie: Not on my watch. Ah've got yer back!
Heavy:ILLOGICALLY, THAT PLATITUDE IS REASSURING.*he sprung forward on his spring legs & landed on an Egg Swats as Bomb exploded one behind him*ONCE MORE INTO THE FRAY, THEN!
While the battlewas going on, me,Cream, & Cheesewere leading citizens to safety*
Cream: This way, everyone!
Lacey: Please follow us!
We led them to the perimeter*
Cream: Right in here, please!
Meanwhile, the Plus Ultra Squad was surrounded by Egg Swats*
Zeke: Rotor! A little help over here!
Travis: We're surrounded!
Rotorpunched one in the face*
Rotor: That's what they think!
Bunnie: Big should be back any minute!
Big then came running in, ramming all the robots in his way*
Big: Sorry. That was a long way to run. Long way to run back, too!
Suddenly, 3 new robots came out of the Death Egg. One of them was Metal Sonic, & the other 2 looked like Tails & Amy*
Heavy:NEW ENEMY CONTACTS INBOUND!
Bomb:PING!
Bunnie: Oh mah stars . . . Those are from the Metal Series . . .
Sally: Rotor to team- Focus on the Metal Series! They're the biggest threat!
Heavy:AFFIRMATIVE. BUT WHAT OF THE EGG SWATS?
Rotor: We held them off as long as we could. It's up to the military now.
Bunnie flew up & started fighting Metal Tails*
Bunnie: AUGH! Two are headed yer way, Team! Ah've got one up here!
Big grabbed Metal Amy by face as she flew towards him*
Big: I stopped one! *suddenly, it'sarms turned into hammers & it hit Big in the face* That hurt! You're mean!
He punched her away. Heavy prepared to throw Bomb at Metal Sonic*
Heavy:PREPARE TO ENGAGE METAL SONIC. JUST LIKE OLD TIMES.
Bomb:PING!
Suddenly, a black & yellow streak grabbed Metal Sonic & flew away from the city*
Heavy:SOMETHING INTERCEPTED OUR TARGET. MY SENSORS COULD NOT REGISTER IT FAST ENOUGH. WHAT WAS THAT?
Bomb:PING - PING!
Heavy:WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE WHILE WE'RE ON THE JOB.
All over the city, strange things were happening during the battle. It almost looked like someone was helping us from behind the scenes. Soon, all the Egg Swats & the Metal Series were called back to the Death Egg*
Cream: The Death Egg and the Egg Swats are leaving!
Lacey: We won! Hooray!
Bunnie: We did it!
The Plus Ultra Squad did a high-five*
Zeke: Way to go, Team!
Sally: It's weird, though. It seems like someone else was helping to take out the ground forces. But who . . .?
Big: Don't worry. Be happy!
Rotor: . . . Yeah, guess that works, too.
Lacey: Well, if there is someone helping us. I would like to meet them so I can say thank you.
