(Abigail's POV)

After I bandaged Sonic's head, Sally & I helped him to the door leading outside*

Sally: Take it easy, Sonic.

Sonic: I'm fine, Sal. I'm just a little - *when we opened the doors, we were greeted by all the citizens of New Mobotropolis & Knotehole cheering for Sally's return* Exhausted?

Sonic & I turned to see Amy & Silver. Silver gave us a thumbs up & Amy waved. Sonic gave them a thumbs up & I just smiled. Then Sonic, Tails, & I hugged our families, happy to be reunited*

Sally: Thank you all for your concern. The Freedom Fighters hope to return to active field duty soon. But right now, we're just happy to be together again.

Later, after the welcome home formalities were done, Sonic, Sally, Huck, & I went to Sonic's house, hanging out in his room. Sonic lay on his bed, I sat on the edge of his bed with Huck on my lap,& Sally looked out the window. She told us everything that happened while we were gone*

Sally: And after we captured Tails Doll, we threw in into the nearest furnace & watched it disintegrate.

Sonic: Wow. Eggman's really been stepping up his game lately.

Sally*sigh* Yeah. It just shows how desperate he's getting.

Abigail: Which means we'd better do the same.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Sally: I know. We also need to disable the De-Roboticizer and hide it someplace Eggman will never find it.

Sonic: I can think of a few places.

The next day, we all gathered in the Coliseum to get ready for Sally's Welcome Home Concert*

Sally: I know we just won a big victory, but don't you think this is a little excessive?

Sonic: Yeah, but you know these guys - They'll take any excuse to party.

Abigail: Can you really blame them? After everything we've all been through.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Bunnie, Tails, & Rotor came up to us. Rotor was holding a fixed T- Pup*

Tails: Hey guys!

Sally: Tails, Rotor, it's go nice to see you both again.

Rotor: You too! And . . . Look who we fixed!

T-Pup jumped out of his arms & into Sonic's arms. He had been badly damaged during the battle against Metal Sally*

Sonic: T-Pup!

Abigail: Glad to see you're all better.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!

Sally: Heh, it's nice to see you, boy.

Sonic: So, Rotor. What's the deal with Eggman's crazy Copycat robot?

Rotor: It's still offline from the battle. We've been studying it's components, it's extremely complex. The encryption on that robot isinsane. I don't think even Nicole's handled form would've been able to decipher it all.

Tails: It's way too advanced to be an Eggman robot, so he must've found it somehow. But if he managed to reverse-engineer the design . . .

Sally: I see. Well, for now, just find out as much as you can about it and keep us all posted.

Rotor: You got it, Sal.

Tails: You can count on on.

Sally: I also want to thank Team Freedom for all their help in protecting the Kingdom of Acorn.

Bunnie: It was nothin', Sally-Girl.

Big: Your welcome.

Heavy:HAPPY WE COULD HELP.

Bomb: PING!

Cream: Cheese and I were happy to help, Princess Sally.

Cheese: Chao-Chao.

Sally: I'm glad to hear it, Cream.

Lacey hugged her*

Lacey: I'm just glad everyone's okay, Sally.

Sally: Thank you, Lacey.

The Plus Ultra Squad bowed to her*

Nathan: It was our pleasure, Your Highness.

Sally: Thank you. But please, just call me Sally. I've met you all before, but I'm very happy to see you working together as Freedom Fighters. I look forward to working with you all in the future.

Just then, Nicole appeared behind her*

Nicole:I was happy to help as well, Sally.

Sally: I know, Nicole. And thank you as always.

Nicole:I'm so happy to see that you are safe, Sally.

Silver came up to them*

Silver: Hello, Princess! Mind if I join this reunion?

Sally: Not at all . . . Silver, correct?

Silver: Yeah, that's me. I just wanted to apologize for the trouble I've caused you and the Freedom Fighters. I - I didn't mean to cause any harm. Well, uh, m - maybe at first, but I -

Sally: It's fine, really. Thank you.

Mina came up to Sally*

Mina: Hi, Sally! Just wanted to let you know the guys and I are going to give everyone a rockin' time at the party.

Sally: Thank you, Mina.

?*off-screen* Ah, Princess Sally! Just then woman I wanted to see!

We turned & saw Geoffrey coming towards us*

Geoffrey St. John (Ixis Naugus): The Royal Wizard, Ixis Naugus, offers his regards to both you and Team Fighters for your bravery, strength, and heroism. *he took her hand &kneeled in front ofher* He only wishes he could be here to thank you in person.

Sally: . . . Thank you . . . I think?

Sonic, Huck, &I got in between them*

Abigail: Oh, Sally. I think there's more people at Uncle Chuck's Diner that want to thank you for your service.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Sally: Ah . . . Yes! Let's go, guys.

Sonic: Give us a minute. Abby and I need to have a word with St. Jerk first.

Everyone started to leave, leave us with Geoffrey*

Sally: Alright, but hurry.

Sonic: Ha, remember who you're talkin' to?

We all turned to Geoffrey with glares*

Abigail: Alright, Geoffrey. Let's talk.

Huckleberry: Chao.

Geoffrey St. John (Ixis Naugus): Uh . . . Whatever you say, Luv!

Sonic: Ican't help but notice you've been acting a little stranger than usual lately. It wasn't that long ago that you were fighting Sally. What's going on?

Geoffrey St. John (Ixis Naugus): N - Nothing! Why would you think that?

Abigail: I don't know. Probably because we both thought you were having second thoughts about Naugus. To be honest, I find it hard to believe that you're still working for him after everything he's done.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Geoffrey St. John (Ixis Naugus): Our Royal Wizard has given us all far greater protection and stability than the so called "Hero of Mobius" could have ever provided. I'm proud to serve him, Mate, and you two should be too.

Sonic: Too bad I can't serve someone who only serves himself.

Abigail: Same here.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Geoffrey St. John (Ixis Naugus): You - !

Sonic: Sorry, Geoff, we've gotta go. But just for the record, Hershey would have wanted differently.

(Third-Person POV)

Geoffrey St. John: I know, Sonic . . . I know.

(Abigail's POV)

After all the thank yous were out of the way, Sally went to the castle to

Abigail*in her mind* Freedom HQ. It feels like forever since any of us were last in here. Looks like someone's been taking care of this place while we were gone. I guess they believed that we'd all be back eventually.

Suddenly, Nicole appeared on the screen of the main computer*

Nicole: Oh, Abby!

Abigail: Nicole! You scared me!

Nicole: Sorry about that, but I have someone who would like to check in on everyone.

Just then, a Warp Ring appeared & Knuckles came out of it*

Knuckles: Oh, Abby!

Abigail: Hi, Knuckles.

Knuckles: I just got word from Nicole what everyone was back. So, I just came by to check in on things.

Abigail: Everything's fine now. In fact, we're getting ready to celebrate our victory with a party. Would you and the others care to join us?

Knuckles: Sounds like fun. I'll think about it, but you know. Duty calls and all that.

Abigail: I know. I just hope you'll stop by.

Knuckles: Don't worry, we will. And don't forget, the Chaotix and I are just a call away if you need us.

I waved him goodbye as he went back through the Warp Ring*
