I don't own MHA. I only own OC's.
Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.
EternalEmperorDmitri: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter :)
1. Don't worry. You didn't spoil anything to me as I was already aware of what would happen to Toga.
2. You'll have to wait and see what will happen in the final war with the villains :)
Emily StarLover: Thank you for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter :)
1. Yup. Gareth is slowly overcoming his guilt as Tesla's words had a bigger effect on him than Alice as Tesla, unlike Alice, had no reason to comfort him like this due to what happened in the past at the USJ.
2. Yup. Gareth will make sure to apologize to the country for what his actions caused and will continue to fight for his goal with him making sure to fix the mess he had created with them. Now it will up for time to show what will people make of this.
3. All the videos will be shown to Japan when the time is right for it.
4. I already have everything planned out for Bakugo. You'll have to wait and see how things will go with him from here :)
5. You'll find out Aoyama's thoughts on everything once his arc will come up :)
Kingdom Kin Rool: Thank you once again for leaving a review :)
1. Yeah. I can see why you find the pacer and us being so close to the end of this arc weird due to the stuff which happened in it but I wanted to use it to set up the characters for this and the last chapter of this arc. However, I'm also a bit suprised it wasn't made obvious with the Izuku stuff brought up in the last chapter.
2. Yeah. I know what you're saying here. I had to check the wiki when I was planning out their appearance in the story as I only remembered Tesla from them. When it came to the characters I went along with in the end, I choose the ones which stood out the most aside from Steel Bulwark as I realized I had only chosen women for Tesla's crew and I didn't want Tesla to be the lone guy in his crew, lol.
3. Glad you liked the part with the Shiketsu crew. The thought of what could have been if they handled things differently are really hitting characters like Gareth, Izuku, All Might, Bakugo and Nagamasa. Too bad there's nothing they can do about it now.
4. The furious five, huh? I must say. It's a pretty good name for the Shiketsu crew, lol.
5. I have plans for Nagamasa in the Final War. You'll have to wait and see what it will be :)
6. Alright. Thank you for the critique of this scene. I'll try to avoid stuff like this in the future.
7. Alright. Looking forwad to see your theories and headcanon regarding this in the future :)
8. Glad you liked the interaction between Bakugo and Akihiko as I knew how much you've been waiting for the interaction between them. I wanted to use it to show how much Grace's breakdown over Sandra affected Akihiko beyond his conversation with Hatsume a few chapters back.
9. Yup. Akihiko is lucky to have Hatsume here. Who knows how he would be handling everything if he didn't have his new friend by his side.
10. I hope you'll like what will happen with the scene with Izuku :)
11. Glad you liked the part with Gareth having his crisis regarding All For One. All Might's words hit him like a speeding truck and all the doubts he was starting to have regarding AFO after the prison break only grew because of it.
12. I already have everything planned out regarding what will happen between Gareth and AFO. You'll have to wait and see what will be :)
13. Glad you liked the part with Tesla. Tesla's backstory was a mixture of my Suicide AU idea and a mixture of one of the reviews one of the readers left a few chapters away. It fit what I had planned for Tesla perfectly so I mixed both of those stuff into one.
14. Glad you liked the part with Tesla pointing out to Gareth how he is still a teen. Some people really tend to forget about it, after all.
15. Thank you for the critique of this part. However, I have a reason why I had this moment between Gareth and Tesla. Tesla's words would have a bigger effect on him than Alice as Tesla, unlike Alice, had no reason to comfort him like this due to what happened in the past at the USJ.
16. You and me both. I don't want to wait for the next year for the final season. The fact that MHA, Nier and Oshi No Ko all ended now makes it worse as I don't have anything to watch now. Here's hoping the third season of Arknights will be out soon...
17. I haven't seen the movie so I don't have an opinion on it. Curse of living in a small town as my town barely puts on the movies that I'm interested in. Having two movies a month like Beetlejuice and Joker (even if the latter was crap) is a rarity.
Haruto: Thank you once again for leaving a review :)

1. You'll have to wait and see what will happen with Nagamasa. I have plans for him :)
2. You'll have to wait and see wha will happenw with Bakugo from here :)
3. Past Gareth is a manifestation of Gareth's self hatred. His purpose is to torment him.
4. Whether Tesla's friend was Quirkless or not will be left for reader's interpretation.
5. Glad you liked the part with Tesla. Tesla's backstory was a mixture of my Suicide AU idea and a mixture of one of the reviews one of the readers left a few chapters away. It fit what I had planned for Tesla perfectly so I mixed both of those stuff into one.
6. Yup. Gareth will make sure to apologize to the country for what his actions caused and will continue to fight for his goal with him making sure to fix the mess he had created with them.
makerboy10: I can see why you think like this but you need to look at things from Akihiko's POV as well. For him, his parents are suffering because of his cousin's actions and he wants him to be stopped because of it.
NEWTON RYBACK: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. Yup.
2-3. You'll have to wait and see what will happen between Gareth and AFO. I already have everything planned out for them.
4-6. It was said in the chapter Gareth was okay with Nomus since he thought they were made out of heroes and villains only due to AFO and the Doctor hiding this from him. He was disgusted after looking at Cyborg as he saw all the civilians which were used to make those in his place.
7. You'll have to wait and see what will go down between Gareth and Shiketsu.
8. The same as in canon.
9. I already have everything planned out for this.
11. You're welcome. I liked this character at the USJ as well as he was the only character which really stood out from me there among the USJ villains.
13. She will appear when she will appear.
14-15. You need to look at things from Akihiko's POV as well. For him, his parents are suffering because of his cousin's actions and he wants him to be stopped because of it.
16. Maybe.
17. You'll have to wait and see what will happen with Bakugo.
18. Whether Tesla's friend was Quirkless or not will be left for reader's interpretation.
20. Yup.
21. Yup. It will definitely come in handy when he and the League will make their next move.
22. See ya.
23. I already answered it. It will be revealed when it will be revealed.
24. No spoilers.
25-29. I already have everything planned out when it comes to Gareth.
Alaster Hemlock: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. Yup. Only two chapters left if you count this one.
2. Yup. All Might's words hit him like a speeding truck and all the doubts he was starting to have regarding AFO after the prison break only grew because of it.
3. You'll have to wait and see how that will happen.
4. Out of curiosity. What were you expecting in their conversation to happen?
5. You need to look at things from Akihiko's POV as well. For him, his parents are suffering because of his cousin's actions and he wants him to be stopped because of it.
6. Glad you liked the part with Tesla. Tesla's backstory was a mixture of my Suicide AU idea and a mixture of one of the reviews one of the readers left a few chapters away. It fit what I had planned for Tesla perfectly so I mixed both of those stuff into one.
THE-Twilight-BlazeKnight: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. Glad you liked the opening with the USJ villains. I figured out the USJ villains wouldn't be exactly welcoming Gareth with open arms after the USJ.
2. Glad you liked the moment between the Shiketsu crew as I hinted something like this happening when Nagamasa began to have second thoughts about everything in the Consequences chapters.
3. Yup. Nagamasa is really having second thoughts about everything and is starting to see how things really are. But can you blame Camie and Shishikura seeing themselves as victims, though? After what happened to them because of the League.
4. You'll have to wait and see what will happen with Nagamasa. I have plans for him :)
5. Glad you liked the part with Tomohito thinking about the past and his friendship with Inasa. I wanted to add more depth with it and how it would hurt Tomohito if Inasa ended their friendship because of his past.
6. Hmm. An interesting idea. I'll make sure to consider it.
7. Glad you liked the scene with the USJ villains. Who knows what would happen if Tesla wasn't with them.
8. Yeah. What you brought up about Tesla fit with what I had planned out for him so I mixed both mine and yours ideas into idea and this is what it came out of it.
9. Interesting ideas regarding their backstories. Let's see how correct you are about them :)
10. Yup. More videos from the League will cause more damage to the already heavily damaged hero society.
11. Hmm. This can be the case when it comes to HPSC. After all, neither AFO or Shigaraki can win people over like Gareth can. One of my wattpad readers put this perfectly by saying "Shigaraki inherited All For One's power while Gareth inherited his persuasion skills".
12. Yup. The sympathy Akihiko had for his cousin is gone now. You need to look at things from his POV as well. For him, his parents are suffering because of his cousin's actions and he wants him to be stopped because of it.
13. You'll have to wait and see how this will go down. :)
14. Yup. All Might's words hit Gareth like a speeding truck and all the doubts he was starting to have regarding AFO after the prison break only grew because of it.
15. I have plans to mention it sometime in the future.

freakingname13: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. Yup. You pretty much nailed the faults of the two sides. Looking back at the first part of this arc, I really wish I had fleshes out the League parts of them earlier in this arc until the stuff with the bee hetermorph came up.
2. Yup. All of the members of the League are too far into their goals to give up on them. Gareth didn't meant only himself when he said to All Might how all the hopes of talking things out with them are gone. He unintentionally brought up the rest of the League as well.
3. Yup. Everyone in Gareth's past played part in him becoming the villain he is today.
4. You'll have to wait and see what will happen with Gareth in this story. I already have everything planned out for him :)
5. Thank you for the compliment. It always makes me so happy to see people appreciating my writing like this :)
6. I hope you'll like this chapter and all the chapters to come after this :)
Jakobin: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. Yup. Gareth will make sure to apologize to the country for what his actions caused and will continue to fight for his goal with him making sure to fix the mess he had created with them. Now it will up for time to show what will people make of this.
2. Once again, some interesting ideas on how this story can go from where. You'll have to wait and see how many of your ideas/predictions will be correct in the end :)
Lcor: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. It would be hard for them to watch Terrifier now as Mustard is locked up in prison and they will be soon heading for the final war with the heroes. Who knows what will happen after the war, though. If they will survive of course :)
2. I haven't seen the movies. I haven't seen the first two movies as well. I only read and watched the reviews and I thought it would be the perfect movie for Toga to like so I put in the Four Teens chapters.
3. The videos will be shown to Japan when the time is right. Even if Gareth wanted to show them now, he doesn't have how to do it as he should have to come back to Skeptic and Curious.
Saltif: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)
1. No. I won't be adding this movie to the story because it a) came out when I was far too deep into this story planning and adding more new stuff would just complicate my plans and b) this story is already long enough as we're looking at potential 70 chapters here and I don't want to extend it more.
TheGreatGodzilla: Thank you once again for leaving a review and I'm glad you liked the chapter! :)

4. Maybe. Only time will tell.
5. Yup. This episode made me like Kinger a lot.
6. It was a scene from Halo Infinite where Master Chief says "We all fail. We all make mistakes".
It was night in Tokyo City. The darkness washed over the city, having completely descended over it. Stars slowly popped up on the sky one by one, filling the sky in the process and becoming one of the view sources of light in the night. Small sources of light which would barely help anyone with dealing with the darkness, but sources neverthless. The moon, a pale crescent, hung low in the sky, casting a glow on the empty and currently abandoned streets and helping the street lights in illuminating them.
The world around the streets of Tokyo was asleep, covered in the deep silence only the darkest hours could give and it didn't seem like anything would disturb it anytime soon. Everyone kept themselves locked up in their houses, allowing themselves to take some well deserved sleep after keeping themselves awake throughout the day and doing whatever they had to do in their daily lives such as doing their job to keep themselves and their families in many cases feed or going to school to give themselves a promising future.
However, there was one commotion going on in the city right now which was cutting the silence in the city short and it was happening in an apartament of a certain Pro-Hero. While the rest of the world slumbered, this space was filled with tension and screams. The muffled sounds of raised voices slipped through the walls, shattering the stillness of the night. If it wasn't for this apartament taking up the whole floor, then it would definitely wake up the neighbours.
Minato Yoshida pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out a frustated sigh as he stared at the black haired woman with glasses over her nose ranting to him right now. Words couldn't describe how annoyed he was with her right now. All he wanted to do was to go to sleep but she just had to come to his apartament and start off her rant. The way how he seemed to ignore her throughout her rant appeared just to make things worse and more angry with him.
He cut her off a second later with frustation evident in his voice, "You finished?"
"You finished?" The black haired woman looked on the verge of emotional breakdown, "This is all you have to say for yourself?"
Minato rolled his eyes, "What else do you want me to say?"
"I don't know? 'I'm sorry' maybe?" The black haired woman asked him, "I gave you a second chance after the last time as I thought you will change and yet, you threw it all away. You lied to me again. You kept seeing other women behind my back and badmouthed me to them. AGAIN! You just keep humiliating me when I'm not around. I thought you loved me..."
"God fucking dammit..." Minato muttered under his breath, growing more irritated with the woman in front of him as he felt himself reaching his limit of patience, "Chie. Can't you just leave me alone? I had a long fucking day at work today and I'll be finally having a day off tommorow and I want to use it the best I can."
The black haired woman now named Chie clenched her hand, "This is what happens to you more? Your day off? Not our relationship? Not the way you keep hurting me with your behavior?"
Minato let out an exasperated sigh, running a hand through his hair as he gave Chie a cold indifferent glance, "Look, Chie. I don't really have the energy for this. You always make everything such a big deal. I'm not going to keep apologizing for the same stuff you always tell me off about. I'm tired, I want to sleep, and I honestly don't have time for your drama right now Get over it, or don't. I really don't care either way."
"What happened to you?" Chie asked him with her voice filled with disbelief and hurt. She knew Minato brought up her being Quirkless to hurt her. She knew how insecure she could get about it. Especially when she compared it to his strong power, "I can't recognize you anymore. You're not the man who saved me from that robber..."
"What? You think you're someone special because I saved you once?" Minato asked while looked at her as if she was an idiot, "It's my job as a hero to save other people. Not my fault you latched onto me like a leech. If anything, you should be grateful I gave you my attention. I could have settle down for any woman and yet I choose someone who doesn't even have her own power."
"Your job as a hero, huh?" Chie asked with his tone shifting into a spiteful tone. She knew what she would say next would hurt Minato. She didn't care about it, though. He deserved it in her mind for what he put her through. She will hurt him just like he hurt her with his constant betrayals and bringing up her being Quirkless, "You dare to call yourself and hero and yet, you act like this. You can only call yourself that, because you have the right papers for it. You're a joke. Not a hero."
"For fucks sake! I already told you! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Minato screamed angrily, feeling his patience with Chie reaching it's limit as he didn't think in the moment and released a ball of red energy at her in order to take out his anger and frustation with her. Chie's eyes widened, feeling herself getting knocked backwards and her falling down was followed by a loud bang of something hitting itself against the side of the table. Minato felt all the air leave his lungs a second later, having just realized what he had done and having calmed down in an instant, because of it. His terrible realization was followed by a weak and quiet, "...Chie?"
Gareth's eyes widened, having just woken up from his slumber by whatever dream he just had as he sat up on his sleeping spot in the more isolated part of Tesla's hideout. Following his conversation with Tesla and him doing his videos where he explained his part of the heroes attack on his home, he left for a moment to get a nap to make himself calm down a bit more and have a more fresh mind to help himself think through everything plan out his next moves.
The others didn't mind him going to sleep with Alice and Tesla telling him that they'll take care of everything while he'll be asleep as they agreed they shouldn't stop with just Gareth and should make more videos during their stay here. Tesla and Kasai volunteered to make their own videos explaining what drew them to villainy as well. From what Gareth saw before heading off to have his nap, he saw Tesla trying to convince the rest of his crew to make their own videos as well.
The black haired boy stretched his arms above his head, trying to make himself feel less sleepy after his nap as he found himself thinking back to the dream he just had of the Scarlet Hero. He wasn't weirded out by him having this. It wasn't the first time he had a dream like this. In fact, It was far from the first time. It became something reccuring to him after having this dream for the first time before waking up in Alice's apartament.
Even if never mentioned his dreams directly to anyone he had came into contact with, he found himself thinking about them every now and them during his mission. Mostly when he was alone or when everyone else was busy with their own stuff. He often tried to make sense out of his dreams and why he was having them in the first place. He could ask All For One about it. However, he wasn't sure if he would believe anything he would say to him about it.
His dreams were mostly centered about Minato Yoshida who he knew was the Scarlet Hero. The person who originally had his main Quirk. They were centered about a woman named Chie Terasaka as well. She knew who this woman was as well, despite his dream being the first time he had ever heard about her. She was the woman who was saved by Minato while she was working her shift behind the cash register in his first dream. From what he knew, he knew their relationship grew from there but it eventually fell apart. He didn't know why, though. Minato's arrogant attitude in his dreams gave him a few hints why. However, he didn't have the full confirmation to them.
There was nothing else he could say about them as his dreams involving Minato and Chie were always short. It didn't mean he wasn't curious to know about them, though. He never brought this up to anyone, though or never researched it in any way as All For One's words of the Scarlet Hero not being revelant remained in the back of Gareth's mind. After learning what he learned from All Might, however, he was willing to ignore those words.
He just wished he had a way to learn more about them, though. He knew he needed a working internet connection and a device he could browse the internet on for it and he was nowhere close either of those things right now. He intended to keep his eyes open for either of those things once he will move out with the rest again. He knew he wanted to do this before he'll return to the rest, not wanting All For One to know about him going against his word.
"Gareth. Are you there? Answer quickly if you can." Skeptic's voice rang through his ears a second later, taking him out of his thoughts as Gareth shifted his gaze to this earpiece which was laying nearby, having taken it off before his nap.
Gareth looked at his earpiece with interest as he grabbed it and placed it in the right place. He made himself known to Skeptic a second later by placing his hand on his earpiece, "Yeah. I'm here. Skeptic. Did you and Curious found more people from the PLF?
"No. It's about something else. Tell me your location." Skeptic replied as Gareth's raised his brow, feeling his interest growing and gave him his location. Skeptic let out what appeared to be a pleased hum as he added, "You're there? Perfect. Just in the time I hoped you would be. You're not far away from the job I have for you. I want you to go somewhere."
'Where?" Gareth wanted to know.
Skeptic gave him his answer, "Blackgate prison."
"Blackgate prison?" Gareth wanted to be sure if he heard him correctly.
"Yes." Skeptic gave him his confirmation and started to explain everything right after, "We have been doing our work towards our next move while you were coming into contact with the PLF members and..."
"You don't need to explain this to me. I already know about my followers moving towards the Blackgate prison." Gareth cut him off, "I stumbled upon a villain while taking care of my business and he recongized me and explained everything to me. Why didn't you tell me about this?"
"All For One didn't want you to know." Skeptic explained, "He thought it will take your mind off your mission and he wanted you to focus on it."
"...I see." Gareth voiced his understanding of it after a few seconds of staying silent, doing his best to make himself sound natural right now. He changed the subject of the conversation back to the Blackgate Prison a second later, not wanting to go more into this topic for now, "Why do you want me to go Blackgate? Does it have something to do with whatever you've been planning?"
Skeptic confirmed it to him right away, "Yes. I want you to go there and scour the prison on your Nomu. You should equip yourself with a video camera, before this, though. We want to get a good view of how everything looks like in this prison from up close, before we'll finish planning everything out for our next move."
"Alright. I'll take care of it straight away." Gareth replied in understanding, not knowing how else to reply to this.
"Good. I'll be awaiting your results once you'll come back. If you'll need to know anything else, then I'll inform you about it straight away." Skeptic replied in a pleased tone, ending his conversation with Gareth as Gareth once again nodded in understanding.
Having no further need to keep his hand on his earpiece, Gareth pulled his hand away from it and looked ahead of himself towards the exit from this part of the building. Knowing he should go regroup with the others after his nap, he got up from the floor and pushed himself into walk. Upon walking out of the room, he glanced to his side and saw Cyborg standing right next the entrance to it to make sure it was guarded and Gareth won't be interrupted by anyone.
Gareth waved his hand at Cyborg right after walking past the Nomu, signalling him to get moving and Cyborg obeyed him right away and followed him. The two walked further into the building, making their way to the others and found them in the main part of the building where Gareth saw them for the last time, before heading off to have his nap. Everyone were split up around the room when he walked into it, having their own conversations and everything died down as soon as they noticed his presence.
"Gareth." Alice smiled at the view of him as she stepped closer to him with Kasai and Tesla following her and keeping themselves close to her.
"Hey." Gareth greeted her, acknowleding her and the rest as Alice stopped in front of him with Kasai and Tesla by her sides.
Alice looked at him questioningly, "Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah. I feel a bit better now. Just had a strange dream." Gareth gave her an honest answer and voiced his question a second later, "What about you? Did you get everything done?"
Alice smiled at him and nodded in confirmation, "Yes. I got everything done while you were asleep. Like I said I would."
"Great. Good job." Gareth smiled back at her as Alice's smile grew at this. He shifted his attention to Tesla and Kasai a second later, "Thank you for letting Alice film your stories."
Tesla nodded at him, "No problem. Thank you for making sure what happened to Hikaru-kun will be heard by the world and won't be forgotten and swept under the rug like they wanted to do."
"I'm glad my story will be heard by the world. Hopefully it will help the other heteromorphs. Like Spinner and Chimera's stories did." Kasai added with a smile on his face. He wished he'd see be there to see Mt. Lady and Death Arms's face when they will see this video. It was a shame Kamui Woods was killed when the heroes attacked the PLF, though. He wished he would be around to see this as well.
Gareth nodded at them, keeping his smile on his face and shifted his gaze to Tesla and pointed the other USJ villains, "What about them? I overheard you talking with them about making their own videos when I was leaving to have my nap. "
"They did." Tesla nodded in confirmation, "We wrapped up filming Yumikura-san's story like a minute before you came here."
"Alright. Good." Gareth said in understanding as he shifted his gaze to Tesla's crew. He'll have to express his gratitude to them for this later. They didn't have any reason to help him because of what happened in the past and yet, they still did this. He knew all the additional videos to Lady Nagant's videos will be the final nail in the coffin of the hero society. He shifted his gaze back to Alice a second later, "Alice. We'll pack our stuff quickly. I was contacted by Skeptic shortly after I woke up. Wa have a new job."
Alice looked at him questioningly, "What is it? Did he and the others found more PLF members?"
Gareth shook his head, "No. It's more about the Blackgate prison."
"What about it?" Alice asked with curiosity evident in her voice as Tesla and Kasai looked curious to know the answer as well.
"They want to scour the prison on Cyborg and film it. Luckilly, we already have a camera so we won't have to search for one." Gareth explained and shifted his gaze to Kasai when he added, "If I were to guess, it has something to do with what you told me when he met again."
"It has something to do with it." Kasai nodded at him, "Otherwise I doubt you'd be asked to scour the prison."
Gareth nodded in agreement, "Yeah. It's hard to disagree here as I was thinking the same."
Tesla crossed his arms with a thoughtful look on his face, "Blackgate prison, huh? It probably has something to do with the heteromorph march towards this one hospital."
Gareth raised his brow at him, "You know about as well?"
"Yes. It would be hard not to with Steel Bulwark and Gorilla with me." Tesla nodded in confirmation. Even if they thought about joining the march upon first finding out about it, they ultimately decided to stay with him and the rest, "We even managed to find out Sickle Claw, Invisible Wall and Minotaurus joined the march towards the hospital." Gareth kept his brow eyes, not knowing who these two were as Alice and Kasai looked at him questioningly, "Two of the USJ villains."
"I see." Gareth replied in understanding.
Tesla kept his arms crossed, letting out a thoughtful and knowing hum as Gareth, Kasai and Alice all looked at him questioningly, looking at him like they wanted to know more which didn't went unnoticed by him. He set his eyes on Gareth and told him, "If you'll be heaidng towards the Blackgate Prison, I can take you there if you want to. I know the shortest route to it."
Gareth raised his brow at him, "You do?"
"Yeah. I was raised around here and I know the area around him like my own pocket." Tesla nodded in confirmation, "Why did you think I choose this place to lay low with the rest of the USJ villains? It's always the safest to be around in the area you know well."
"Alright. Makes sense to me." Alice said in understanding as Kasai silently nodded in agreement.
"It would be great if you showed us the fastest way there." Gareth added, smilling at him as he was more than into the idea of Tesla tagging along with them for it. Having Tesla go with him could give him a chance to ask him if he knew any places with the working internet connection around here.
"Okay. I'll get to it, then." Tesla nodded at him and shifted his gaze to his crew, "Give me a moment to tell the others that we're moving out soon and to pack all the stuff we had stored here."
"Alright." Gareth replied in understanding as Tesla shifted his gaze from him to his crew. Just as he was about to push himself into walk towards them, he stopped what he was doing when Gareth called out to him, "Can I ask you something before you'll go to talk with them, though?"
Tesla turned back to him, "What is it?"
"Do you know if any places around here would allow me to browse the internet?" Gareth voiced his question to him.
Tesla looked at him thoughtfully for a second and gave him a nod, "Yes. I think there's one place with a working connection not too far from here. I can be wrong, though as I wasn't there in a few days."
"Alright." Gareth said with a look of understanding on his face, "Can you take us there once we'll move out of here? There's something I need to do and I'm gonna need the internet connection for it.
"I can." Tesla nodded at him.
Gareth looked at him gratefully, "Great. Thanks."
"We'll have to watch out, though." Tesla added. There was something else he had to say to Gareth, though. He filled him in a second later, "There's a safe zone located about ten or fifteen minutes from there and I saw some teens sneaking out of there for one reason or another the last time when I passed through that area. I was almost spotted by two boys your age when I was there recently."
"Don't worry. We'll watch out there as it won't take long." Gareth reassured him as Tesla nodded at him and turned away from him. He made his way to his group, informing them about moving out as Kasai and Alice looked at Gareth with questioning looks on their faces, wondering what Gareth wanted to check on the internet.
Overhaul laid down on the bed, looking up with a blank look on his face as he focused himself on what was happening right now. This was it. It was the moment he would receive his hands back with the help of Eri's blood which was stored in the hidden safehouse by Kurono. He and Kuruno had prepared everything for this moment and now they had to put everything in action, making sure it would work in the end.
The days following their arrival at this safehouse were busy for all of them. As they prepared themselves for the procedure of applying the blood into Overhaul's system in a way it won't kill him by erasing him from existance, they put themselves on another mission during it and the said mission consisted of them coming into contact with the remaining members of the Shie Hassaikai as they wanted to have as many people as possible for their future confrontation with the League. More notably Mimic and the remaining members of the Eight Preceps of Death.
Mimic was the easiest membe of the Shie Hassaikai for to them. Kuruno expected Mimic would return to the old heaquarters of their yakuza and he was not wrong. It was exactly where Mimic was found by them and brought into their safehouse. After exchanging some words with them and talking about the old boss death because of the League, Mimic agreed to work them due to him wanting to get revenge on the League for everything as much as Overhaul and Kurono did.
Their cooperation with Mimic was a jackpot hit for them as he was a major help in helping them get into contact with the remaining members of the Eight Preceps of Death. He happened to be placed in the same prison as them following the destruction of the Shie Hassaikai and Overhaul and Kurono ending up in Tartarus, leading to him knowing where they went following their escape and took Overhaul and Kurono straight to them.
It was only a matter of time before Shin Nemoto, Rikiya Katsukame, Toya Setsuno, Yu Hojo, Soramitsu Tabe and Deidoro Sakaki found themselves back in contact with their old boss and joined him, Kuruno and Mimic in Kurono's emergency safehouse, waiting for Overhaul to regain his arms which would allow them to make their next move which would be going against the free League and making things even with them for what happened at Shie Hassaikai. Rappa was not their concern right now because of him being locked up in Blackgate. They would sort this manner sooner.
Overhaul looked up from his hospital bed and saw Mimic, Nemoto, Katsukame, Setsuno, Hojo, Tabe and Sakaki watching him from behind the glass window. Kurono's safehouse had one more suprise hidden in it's basement. The said suprise was a laboratory similiar to the one they had back in the Shie Hassaikai when they were testing out Eri's blood. The basement was hidden as well with Kurono having to knock a hole in the floor in order to reach the entrance to it, having hidden it as a way of making this safehouse look like a normal house more.
The yakuza leader shifted his gaze to Kurono and saw standing in standing in front of the counter with his back facing him where he saw him putting on the final touches on the prodecure he was about to perform on him. The laboratory had everything they needed to perform this prodecure as well with Kurono having taken care of everything in the past, allowing them to perform it without Overhaul getting erased from the existance in the first place.
The procedure of applying Eri's blood started a second later when Kurono injected the blood into him and Overhaul felt the red liquid filling his system. Overhaul's heart raced the moment he felt the blood going through his veins, but he kept his face as expressionless as ever as he found himself thinking about what him regaining his hands and the ability to use his Quirk will mean for him. This was the moment that would change everything. It had to work. There was no room for error.
Kurono looked down at him with his face showing nothing but determnation, "This is it, Kai. I've calculated every possible outcome while preparing for this moment. You'll get your arms back."
Overhaul silently nodded at him, not flinching. He was certain he wouldn't flinch even if he was in pain. All that mattered was regaining the power he lost. He had been reduced to nothing without his Quirk and hands. But soon, that would all be turned back and he would regain everything he once again aside from his former boss. However, he would make sure to avenge him by killing the people who got him killed. This in his mind was close enough to getting him back.
Kurono remained by Overhaul's bedside, preparing himself to act if the procedure will go wrong even if he highly doubted it will happen as he had gone through everything while preparing for this moment. He kept his eyes set on his boss as Overhaul's breathing quickened a second later, becoming less steady as he felt a massive pressure begin to build inside him. His stumps where his hands once were started to twitch.
The room was tense. Behind the glass, the rest of the Shie Hassaikai watched in silence, their eyes wide with a mix of anticipation and worry. Mimic, in particular, seemed to show those emotions the most with his small form showing nervousness. For all he knew, it was their chance at getting back at the League for everything and they couldn't blew it. He couldn't wait to see the little bastard who thought he could mess with them and make fun of them on his knees.
Seconds passed and the prodecure continued with each second making everyone in the room more tense. Overhaul felt something happening within him as if his very blood cells around his stumps were being rewritten. He gritted his teeth, knowing exactly what it meant and his assumptions were confirmed a second later. It was when he could feel something aroud his stumps. He knew what it was. It was somethng he hadn't felt in a while. His hands.
Kurono watched everything with anticipation evident on his face as the prodecure took the next step in the form of the actual regeneration of the hands. Overhaul's hands began to slowly take their form with fingers forming and bones hardening, making themselves visible to everyone who had their eyes on the yakuza leader right now. By the time everything came to an end, the hands were fully formed and Overhaul didn't look someone who had arm stumps for his hands like ten minutes ago.
"It's done." Kurono remarked with relief evident in his voice. He worked. It actually worked. Overhaul wanted to test out his new limbs and lifted up his fully formed hands. He moved them in front of his face, doing various things with it. He flexed his fingers, clenching and unclenching his fists. He did all of that while feeling the strength return to him. Kurono asked him a cautious question a second later, "How do you feel?"
Overhaul sat up on the bed, letting out a deep breath as he glanced at Kurono. There was something evident in his eyes. It was determination and rage, "Great. It worked."
"I know. The League won't see us coming." Kurono smiled as Overhaul got up from the bed and shifted his gaze to the other members of the Shie Hassaikai. All of them expressed similiar emotions to Kurono right now. He turned away from them a second later and set his eyes on something else which was placed in this room before the blood procedure.
The said something was a body of the homeless man which had been found by him and Kuruno when they first entered this safehouse. He had asked everyone to take this body here as he wanted to test his newly regained hands on it if the prodecure will work. With the prodecure having worked now, he touched it upon finding himself directly in front of it and within seconds, the homeless' man body exploded into pieces and only his legs were the only thing left of him.
"Perfect." Overhaul muttered under his breath in a dark pleased tone. He didn't even care about the mess he had made in the room by having this body exolode. Him finally having the means of getting back at the League is what mattered to him right now.
Kurono stepped closer to Overhaul and stopped directly behind him with a pleased look on his face after seeing Overhaul's Quirk worked the way it was supposed to, "With this having been taken care of, we don't have to stay in the hiding for any longer. We can move out."
Overhaul looked over his shoulder at him, "Do you know where to go?"
Kuruno nodded in confirmation, "Yes. The Blackgate prison. We all know Takemura and Shigaraki value their comrades and I don't think they would left them there to rot. By the time they will find themselves close enough to it, we will ambush them and make them pay."
Overhaul nodded in return at him, showing his understanding and shifted his gaze to the other members of the Shie Hassaikai. He voiced his order a second later with his voice cold, "Prepare everyone. We leave towards the Blackgate prison soon."
Gareth sat himself down in front of a barely working computer, having found himself inside of a rundown internet cafe where he was taken by Tesla. Following his conversation with Alice, Tesla and Kasai and taking whatever supplies they would need to have something to either drink or eat on their way to the Blackgate prison, everyone left Tesla's hideout and began to make their way towards their new destination.
However, they didn't take everything with them and left some supplies in the hideout as Tesla and his group intended to return to their hideout once they'll be done with their business with Gareth and their group and wait there for the time the Paranormal Liberation Front will make their next move. Gareth understood it perfectly and didn't mind this. Having so many people travel together for a longer period of time probably wouldn't have been the best idea right now.
Cyborg's back would probably appreciate it as well as it wouldn't be possible for him to carry all of them on his back as well. It was already hard to fit three people on him and four people was definitely his limit. Fitting five extra people on him wouldn't be possible. It was why they had to move on their feet to the Blackgate Prison. If the shortcut would cut their journey as much as Tesla claimed it would, then Gareth didn't mind this.
Tesla followed his words as well and took Gareth to the place with a working internet connection. Or at least the place which he thought would still have a working internet connection. Upon arriving at the place and checking if it really had a working internet connection, everyone split up around the building. Gareth, Kasai and Alice went to look for a working computer while Cyborg and Tesla with his crew stayed on guard just in sure some people who sneaked out of the nearby civilian safe zone won't stumble upon them.
The search for the working computer didn't last long and Gareth, Alice and Kasai found themselves in front of a working computer soon enough. Gareth wasted no time and sat down on a chair in front of it, intending to be quick with his search not to waste his or Tesla's crew time while Alice and Kasai stood on his sides with both of them feeling curious on what Gareth wanted to search on the internet so much.
"Yoshida Minato: The Scarlet Hero. Let's see what they have to say about you..." He thought to himself with curiosity regarding him finally finding out more as clicked on the browser, making the weeb search pop up on the monitor. He placed his hands on the keyboard a second later, pressing the letters and soon enough the name of the Scarlet Hero showed up on the screen.
"Yoshida Minato..." Kasai raised his brow in interest. Realization hit him like a ton o bricks a second later, "...Wait a second. Are you trying to search up the Scarlet Hero?"
"Yes." Gareth confirmed it to him, pressing enter on the keyboard while keeping his eyes on the monitor and waiting for the results to pop up.
Alice looked at him questioningly, "Why?"
"I think you already know why Alice." Gareth replied as he raised his hand in the air with his red energy slowly beginning to cover it.
Alice quickly connected the dots as she looked at him with a look of understanding, "Let me guess. Your Quirk originally belonged to him, right?"
Gareth nodded in confimation, "Yes. All For One brought him up to me shortly before he gave me my power. He explained him as some kind of arrogant fool who was wasting this power's potential or something. Can't remember his eaxct words, because of how long ago it was. I felt curious about him before, but I never searched him up until now, because All For One told me it wasn't important to my training with his Quirk and took his words seriously. However, now after everything, I don't think I need to follow whatever he said to me back then."
"I see." Alice voiced her understanding of his words.
"Couldn't you ask us about this?" Kasai began to say to him as the page on the monitor in front of them continued to load, "We would have..."
"To be honest I wouldn't really say much about him as I didn't pay much attention to the hero scene when he was around..." Alice cut him off, rubbing the back of her head. She had too much on her plate to deal with heroes back then. The cigarette bub scars on her forehead were the best example of this.
Kasai continued where he left off and made sure to correct himself, "I would have told you some of the stuff that I remember about him from the TV from a few years ago. I remember a few stuff about him from it as he used to be a big talk in the media related to the heroes back when he was still around."
"I know. I would have asked you about this if Tesla didn't told us about this." Gareth explained as he looked over his shoulder at Kasai with an interested look on his face, "Now that you brought this up, though, is there anything I should know about him, before I'll start looking through the information about him on the internet?"
"You can see for yourself." Kasai replied, pointing at the screen in front of them due to the page having completely loaded up a second after Gareth turned to look at him as Alice's eyes widened a bit in suprise upon seeing whatever was shown there. Gareth instantly felt himself grow intrigued by this and glanced back at the monitor.
"...No way." His eyes widened a bit with suprise growing on his face the moment he laid his eyes back on the on it and saw the first pic displayed on it right now,.
Minato won one of U.A's sports festivals...
Gareth had to blink a few times to get rid of his suprise upon seeing this. He had a hard time believing this at first. but it was the truth, right there on his screen. The picture of Minato, taken during celebration more than confirmed it to him. The Scarlet Hero was shown standing on the podium, holding his main prize out for the world to see with a massive near smug smile on his face as it was his way of announcing to the world he was going to be the next big hero.
The black haired boy instantly felt himself growing intrigued and more hungry to know more about him as he browsed the internet further and stumble upon more articles regarding Minato. The articles were quite something to say the least. All of them felt like a praise card for Minato as they talked about his accomplishment. He was apparently a top student at U.A, having graduated with the biggest honors, which didn't suprise Gareth. He already suspected this would be the case after seeing the picture of Minato winning the Sports Festival.
All the praise just continued from there. Each article which Gareth had gone through with Alice and Kasai talked about how great Minato was. If it wasn't for Gareth being around Bakugo for most of his life, then he was certain he would have no idea this many praises even were in the dictionary. It reminded him so much of the way Bakugo was praised for everything he did back in the day and this comparison honestly annoyed him, because how much it took him back to those days.
He browsed through more articles as the minutes passed and all of them talked how Minato showed himself to be an extremely efficient hero the moment he left the gates of U.A, catching various criminals all over the country and saving people as if it was nothing and quickly climbed up the ranks of popularity in the country with the articles theorizing he would climb to become one of the top 10 heroes if in the country in no time if he kept such a pace.
The perfect image of Minato the internet was trying to build in his mind was destroyed the further he dug and found out about all the scandals he had gotten himself into while raising in popularity. Everything started off with him beginning to get greedy with his sponsors, demanding more money from them from using his face to promote their products and there were rumors of his commercial sponsors complaining about his increasing levels arrogance and irritability.
It wasn't over, though as it was just the tip of the iceberg. His relationship with Chie apparently wasn't as perfect as it was in the first articles which showed this to him. There were rumors of the apparent cheating on his part. It wasn't only a one time thing as well. It was apparently happening all the time behind the scenes of his relationship with Chie to the point people on the internet were starting to make theories of Minato dating Chie for publicity.
The worst rumor out of all of them was something related to domestic abuse. Gareth found an interview involving an anonymous neighbour of Minato who explained how they often heard the screams of arguing and crying from Minato and Chie and even heard the stuff of things being smashed around the place. It was unfortunely never confirmed as those were just words of someone who didn't have anything but their words to confirm this.
Everything ended with the death of Minato and the vanishing of Chie. Minato was found deceased near to the docks of Tokyo one morning and cause of death of whoever caused it remaining unknown to this day and Chie was never seen again. She just vanished without a trace and was never found or seen again. Even if there was a massive search party going on for her back in the day as her being found could have finally revealed to what happened to the raising promising young hero. There were even rumors of her killing Minato as a way of punishing him for all the scandals he had found himself involved with.
Gareth stayed silent upon seeing all of this, knowing he had just reached the bottom of the iceberg regading the Scarlet Hero. The bottom of the iceberg of the information which was a public knowledge at least. He had no idea what kind of stuff could have been going on with him behind his back and he didn't want to know if he was honest with himself. He had learned more than enough about him.
The black haired boy shook his head, hating how he wasn't even suprised by all of this as he knew he wouldn't be suprised by this even if he didn't have his dreams. All For One had already described the Scarlet Hero to be an arrogant fool. He didn't describe him to be all of this, though. Gareth really should be suprised by the other revelations about the Scarlet Heroa and yet, he wasn't. It must have been because of everything he had learned about the hero society for the past year. Stuff probably wasn't suprising him anymore unless it was something as terrible as what the HPSC was doing.
He couldn't help but feel angry as well. The Scarlet Hero was everything he had hated about the hero society put in one bag. An arrogant asshole like Bakugo and an abuser like Endeavor. He knew the rumors regarding the domestic abuse were true. Whatever he saw in his dream earlier today more than proved it to him. The worst part about it was the fact that he knew the hero society would brush everything about him aside if a bigger scandal came out of this due to them viewing despicable actions of heroes as alright in their books. Like they did with Endeavor after his abuse of his family was revealed by Dabi.
He didn't even feel bad about the Scarlet's Hero death. He deserved it in his mind. He still deserved more if Gareth was honest with himself. An abuser like him always deserved more. The only person he felt about in all of this was Chie. This poor woman didn't deserve any of it. He knew how it felt like to be abused by someone who was supposed to love you and take care of you and he wouldn't wish this on most people. The fact that the articles brought up her being Quirkless made this worse for him.
He hated some of the comments he was under the articles regarding the Scarlet Hero's cheating and the abuse of his partner. All of them were calling Chie out for being an idiot for staying with him with some of them calling it obvious fake rumors due to the part of her staying with him. He always hated people like this. Calling out people for staying in their abusive enviroments while they never experienced how it feels like to be abused and how it messes you up in the head.
The worst part about it was him knowing what happened to Chie. The way Minato reacted after pushing her was more than enough to make him certain he had killed her. He couldn't help but ask himself what happened to her body, though due to it never being found. Whatever Minato did to get rid of it must have done wonders. He couldn't help but feel angry at all the people who were saying Chie killed Minato while it was literally the opposite.
"...Holy shit." Kasai stated with his eyes widened from everything he had just learned about the Scarlet Hero. Even if he had heard about him in the past and heard about some of the controversies he had gotten himself into, he didn't know everything was so bad.
"This guy was such an asshole." Alice commented with a suprised look on her face. She couldn't help but feel bad for Chie and everything this poor woman must have been gone through because of Minato of all the cheating scandals were true. She couldn't help but ask herself why she stayed with him even after all of this, though. This is what being in love and being an abuse victim must have done to her...
"Yeah." Kasai nodded in agreement with anger beginning to show up in his voice, "Even if some of the stuff we read about them is not true like the domestic abuse stuff due to there not being any evidence aside from one interview, then it doesn't make him look any better..."
"No. It's true. Everything." Gareth told him, referring to the domestic abuse part. From the tone of his voice, Alice and Kasai could tell Gareth was utterly serious and certain about it.
Kasai looked at him questioningly, "What makes you just sure?"
"I just know it. Trust me." Gareth replied, not wanting to tell them how he knew about this as he didn't know how to explain it. How was he supposed to tell them he saw in it one one of the dreams he was having over the course of the last several days. His words seemed to be understood by Alice and Kasai, though. Both of them could tell Gareth was completely serious about it being the truth and they knew he wouldn't be so insistent about it being having the knowledge.
Kasai shook his head at this confirmation, "Shit..."
"To think a person like this was supposed a hero." Alice shook her head in disgust. She hated how much she found herself asking such question nowadays. It started off when the tapes of the League were revealed to the world and the truth about Endeavor and Bakugo became a known knowledge and went all the way to where she was right now.
"Yeah. I'm getting the same thoughts here. Makes you wonder how many others like him slipped under the radar and weren't exposed like Endeavor and Bakugo. Especially in the past when saying something bad about heroes would make us the enemy number one in some places. They'd have let him keep getting away with it—just like they did with Endeavor and Kazari." Gareth agreed with her, letting out as he got up from the chair without bothering to close the tab by pushing it back with a dull scrape against the cracked tile floor.
Kasai shook his head bitterly, "I hate how this is the world we live in."
"This is what we fight for, right Gareth?" Alice asked as Gareth turned around to face her and Kasai.
Gareth shifted his gaze between them and nodded, "Yes. This is exactly what we fight for. if the system wasn't broken, someone like him wouldn't have been a hero. Stuff like this won't be happening by the time we'll be done and this rotten society will completely fall." He raised his hand with red energy circling around it as he added, "The Scarlet Hero might have wasted his power by being who he was, but I won't."
"I know." Alice smiled at Gareth with a hopeful smile on her face, showing the faith she had in him. She smiled for some other reason as well. It was the way Gareth was acting right now. His behavior had improved after his conversation with Tesla. Whatever Tesla said to him did wonders on him. It worked on him better than whatever she and Lady Nagant told him.
"We should get going. I know everything I wanted to know about him. We shouldn't keep Tesla and his crew waiting..." Gareth began to say. He was cut off a second later.
"Glad to see you thought about me and the rest." All three of them shifted their to the source of the voice and saw Tesla standing in the doorway to the room, "We've been here long enough. Any luck on your search?"
"Yeah, I found what I needed. Let's go." Gareth nodded in confirmation, his gaze shifting briefly back to the screen before locking onto Tesla.
"Good. Come on. Let's not risk staying out here any longer than we have to. Everyone's waiting." Tesla nodded back at him as he turned away from Gareth, Alice and Kasai and walked out of the room.
Gareth, Alice, and Kasai followed Tesla out of the room in the crumbling internet cafe. Upon walking out of the room, they saw Tesla's crew and Cyborg standing in front of the exit from the place as Tesla made his way to them. All of them seemed to be on guard for some reason as well. Gareth, Alice and Kasai exchanged questioning glances with each other, all of them wondering what got them acting like this.
Tesla had the same question in his mind as he placed his hand on Martial Hair's shoulder and asked her, "What's going on?"
"We'll have to stay here for a few more minutes. We have some people passing by." Martial Hair explained to him, pointing outside of the internet cafe as Tesla looked ahead of him and saw two teenage boys around Gareth's age passing through the street.
"Those are the same kids I saw the last time I was around here." He sighed, having recongized the two boys straight away as Gareth, Alice and Kasai made their way to him and the rest and set their eyes on the two teenagers. Gareth's eyes widened in shock and disbelief the moment he laid his eyes on them, having recognized the two boys straight away even if he hadn't seen them in about two years now.
He recognized them straight away, because they were Taiga and Ryoyu. Tomohito's friends and two of his former bullies from Aldera. Gareth kept his eyes on them, refusing to look away from them as shock continued to fill his body. If he was honest with himself, he never thought he'd see Taiga and Ryoyu again due everyone from Aldera going dark following the reveal of the part this school had on him becoming the Mask and them not having anything to do with heroics like Bakugo and Tomohito.
Gareth clenched his hand with his eyes still on Taiga and Ryoyu, feeling anger hitting him like a wave the further he found himself think about this two. He didn't went after them like he went after Bakugo and Tomohito because they weren't attending any hero schools for all he knew. He doubted they would become heroes with their Quirks as well due to their Quirks being less than useful in the hero work. It was probably why they clung into Tomohito as much as they did.
He knew what they would get from everyone due to them being from Aldera as well. Them being so far away from their hometown right now seemed to have confirm this to him. They and their familes were probably too afraid of whatever they may face due to Taiga and Ryoyu being from Aldera and them being around when the Mask was created. He couldn't think of any other reason why they would distance themselves from their hometown so much.
He clenched his hand tighter, feeling anger filling him more and more. Even if he left them out to be guilty by association of being from Aldera earlier, he knew he couldn't just let them walk off without confronting them now that he was he actually had his eyes set on them. He knew couldn't kill them, though. He didn't want to kill people who wronged him in the past. He wanted to live and experience the consequences of their actions.
The black haired boy knew he had to come up with something fast, knowing Taiga and Ryoyu will vanish from his view if he won't be fast enough. He came up with something a second later. He knew it would be perfect. It wouldn't kill them, but it would leave them terrified. Just like he was terrified of them back in Aldera. With him having such a big group with him right now, he knew it would make his plan work even more.
"No way..." He blurted out loud upon coming up what he wanted to do with them, not bothering to keep everything in his head due to how suprised he was and everyone slowly turned to look at him with intrigued and suprised looks on their faces
Bakugo kept himself in the background, watching everything happening in front of him as his former classmates fought with Izuku as a way to force him back to U.A and have him talk with them. Everything started off after they found Izuku just in time when he found himself buried in the civilians who were wielding various weapons and who were being controlled by one of the villains who escaped from Tartarus. The blond haired boy knew his name. It was Dictator.
Izuku's classmates had no idea whether Izuku didn't fought back due to exhaustion or because he didn't want to hurt the civilians even if they were being controlled by Dictator. Knowing him, however, they knew it must have been a mixture of both. By the time they arrived at this place, they knew Izuku would probably get caught by the villain due to him not fighting back, but all of them made sure it wouldn't happen.
Shinso came extremely handy to them here. The new member of Class A used his Quirk to take control of the civilians, ordering them to stop attacking Izuku which saved him from suffering any major damage by their hands and it left Dictator completely defensless against them. Upon making sure the villain would no longer possess any threat to them or anyone else, they shifted their attention to Izuku and began to voice to him what they wanted from him.
However, Izuku was having none of it and ordered them to move out of the way even if he could barely keep himself on his feet. His classmates were having none of it either, intending to bring him back to U.A today no matter what and their fight with him started shortly after. Izuku's classmates went through him one by one, doing their best to try to stop him from escaping the place and trying to get them to listen to them and trust them with his responsibility by bringing up all the times he had helped them and explaining to him what they thought about him.
Everything hit it's climax when Iida and Izuku confronted each other after Iida was thrown into the air by the combined efforts of his classmates. Bakugo really wished he had his Quirk here. It would have helped them greatly in catching up with him. Upon catching up with Izuku, Iida instantly grabbed him by his hand and made him look directly into his eyes. Izuku pleased Iida to let go off him. Iida, however, knew he had the perfect retort to this.
"Did you forget that my name is Ingenium? Meddling when you don't need to is the essence of being a hero, right?"
Everything ended right after as Izuku tried to free himself from Iida's grasp to no avail. He simply had no power left in him. After falling limp in the air, Iida grabbed him and called out for Ochaco who wasted no time and disactivated her Quirk. Just as the two began to descend to the ground with Iida beginning to worry about their landing, Kirishima showed up and caught them. The impact of it was massive with Kirishima struggling a bit upon catching him, sliding backwards.
The red haired boy didn't care about his struggles, though as he cared more about having Izuku come back to U.A with them. He used this as a chance to say what he had to say to Izuku as well, making sure to be completely honest with him. He stopped a second after he stopped voicing what he had to say to him, leaving himself in a crouched position with Izuku resting against him and Iida landing safely next to them.
"Please stop running." Mina said, panting heavily from all the running as she and her classmates arrived at the place where Izuku landed with Iida as as they could. She looked up at him, keeping her hands on her knees as she told him between deep breath, "I don't think I can lose another person I care about! Let's stick together!"
Shinso stepped forward from his new classmates. He had something to say to him and he intended to make sure Izuku would hear all of this, "Midoriya. I need you to listen. You probably don't realize it, but you've done more for me than anyone else. When we were facing off in the Sports Festival, you didn't just see me as a rival; you treated me like a real competitor. You pushed me to find my own strength, to believe in myself. Watching you fight for everyone, always trying to save others no matter the odds. That's what inspired me. You've shown me what it means to be a hero, and it made me want to be better, too. So please, come back. We need you."
"It's time for you to come back to our class!" Hagakure nodded in agreement as Izuku slowly got himself into a standing position, paying no attention to the worried words directed towards him by Iida and Kirishima.
Izuku turned towards his classmates, facing all of them and spoke up to them in a weak tired tone, "I-I wish I could, but I'm too scared. There are a lot of people who sought refuge at UA, and I don't want to cause them any trouble. I already failed someone once badly. I don't want to do this again. You guys must get it. Things can't go back to the way they were before..."
"Do you remember what I said when Shigaraki stabbed me through the gut?" Bakugo's voice caught everyone's attention. Everyone shifted their attention to his voice and saw him walking out of the background he had kept himself in during everything. Bakugo felt the way his former classmates felt about him from the way they were looking at him right now. However, he didn't care about it. He cared more about making everything right.
Izuku looked at him with a slightly suprised look on his face, "Bakugo..."
"The reason I got impaled is 'cause my body moved on its own..." Bakugo went further into what he had to say to Izuku as he stopped directly in front of him. He bowed his head in front of hima second later in an apologetic, "I just want you to know how sorry I am for everything I've done. I know my apology won't fix anything. It won't undo the harm I've done to you or Takemura. It won't turn him back from being the villain he had become because of me. But I still want you to know how sorry I am for everything."
He looked up at Izuku a second later and went further into what he had to say to him, "I can't believe how hard it must have been for you fo the last ten years. The way I treated you because of how stupid I was. I made you feel terrible like you couldn't be a hero and constantly attacked you when you expressed your dreams. I made Takemura feel utterly hopeless and made him believe killing himself will be the only way of escaping everything. You never deserved any of it, and I'm sorry for that. It took losing so much for me and so much destruction to see that..."
The blonde haired boy continued everything from there, "You've made the right calls ever since you inherited One For All. Followed the best path, acted like a real symbol. But I can see that you're lost right now. You've hit a wall that you can't overcome with ideals alone. So we'll handle the things you can't take care of yourself. In order to be our best selves, we'll save you, the refugees at UA, and everyone else. Even if you don't want around for it which is something I will completely understand because of what I did and since I'm not in a hero course anymore, you still have your classmates for this..."
Izuku stared at him silently with his small suprise staying on his face. He didn't give Bakugo answer straight away, looking like he needed to think about what he had to say in his weakened and tired state. He pushed himself out of his silence a second late and gave Bakugo an honest reply to everything, "Apology accepted and I forgive you for what you did to me. However, I won't forgive for what happened with Gakkun, especially on the last day we saw him before All For One got his hands on him, and I won't make any excuses for you. Not anymore."
Bakugo nodded at him with his face not showing any suprise by Izuku's asnwer. He wasn't expecting forgiveness in the first place, "I know. I didn't come here expecting you to forgive me or to excuse my past actions. I'm not asking for any of it. I know how terrible all of it was..."
"Midoriya. Why didn't you tell us about him treating you like this?" Iida asked, having just showed up on Bakugo's side as he referred to all the bullying he had suffered by his hands and hid it away from them.
Ochaco nodded in agreement with a worried look on her face, "You know you can tell me, no, us everything. We would have helped you. We would have been there for you..."
"Because I was stupid and delusional." Izuku gave them an honest answer with tears beginning to stream down his face, letting out as sigh as words couldn't describe how much he regretted it. If he wasn't so delusional, then things could have been so much different right now. So much better than they were right now, "I lived in a fantasy where I thought everything will be fine and a fantasy where I thought we will be able to move forward from everything as if nothing happened. I thought only of myself and how I can save Gakkun by talking with him. I never took how he would feel about everything, including how he would feel about Bakugo and it ruined everything..."
"..." Everyone stared at him silently with saddened look on their faces. All of them could see how much regret and guilt Izuku had in him and all of them hated to see him like this. It was when his legs finally gave up on him and he started falling forward towards the ground. However, he was caught in the last second by Bakugo who held him as tightly as he could to stop him from hitting the ground.
He pushed himself out of his silent state a second later, "I'm sorry for saying that you couldn't keep up."
"We know. We understand it as well." Ochaco told him with a mixture of sadness and understanding in her tone. She shifted her gaze to Bakugo a second later and nodded at him. Even if she doubted she will ever forgive him for treating Izuku the way he did and doubted she will ever like him, she appreciated him catching Izuku. Bakugo nodded back at her, keeping himself silent.
Taiga Nakamura and Ryoyu Shintaro were far from having good time right now as they walked into an abandoned building to destress each other over a cigarette they managed to sneak in with them into the safe zone both of them were currently staying at with their families. They didn't want to do this back at the safe zone due to them being worried about their parents catching them in the act and going through whatever punishment they would put them through. They didn't have the energy to deal with this.
Words couldn't describe how much they hated the past year. Everything just fell apart during it and their lives weren't going like they were supposed to, because of this. All of it because of one person in the form of Gareth. The two didn't even want to think about him as both of them were getting angry just thinking about him. They knew if there was one person responsible for ruining their lives, then it was him.
Neither of them couldn't believe the audacity of him. To think he could have been so petty and decided to become a terrorist just, because they pulled of a few pranks on him back in junior high. Stuff like this happens all the time between schoolmates to the point even their teacher knew about it and let it slide and, yet he decided he should make an exception out of himself and justify becoming a vile piece of filth and ruin their lives, because of it.
The two boys felt anger rising up in their bodies the more they found themselves thinking about it, wishing Gareth was right in front of them right and give him a piece of their mind. If he had only known how tough it was for them and their familes to find a safe zone in this country. Back in their hometown, everyone knew Taiga and Ryoyu attended Aldera around the time the Mask attended this and no one wanted them in their safe zone, because of it.
They and their families had to move across the villain infested country until finally managing to find a safe zone where people didn't know them and didn't know about Taiga and Ryoyu being from Aldera or "The Villain Factory" like the rest of the country called it now. Their parents were angry at them because of all of this, knowing about them hanging out with Tomohito and questioned them if they knew about this. Something Taiga and Ryoyu denied, refusing to admit this.
What did they do to deserve this? They never forced Tomohito to do any of the things he did to Gareth and just laughed along whenever they would do their pranks on him. All the rage should be directed at him and Bakugo. Not them. It shouldn't be directed at anyone else from their school as well. From what they knew, all of them were having a rough time as well as no one wanted to associate themselves with the schoolmates of the Mask.
The principal of Aldera was ostracized by everyone, having been threatened to be lynched by every safe zone he had wanted to move into and having been chased out of the city. Neither Taiga or Ryoyu knew what happened with him afterwards. They had no idea what happened with their teachers and schoolmates as well due to them not having any way of keeping contact with them. All they knew was that they were dealing with a similair situation as them right now.
Bakugo and Tomohito were the only people from their school who they what was going on with and all of them made sure to keep themselves distanced from them. It was easy with Bakugo as they never hung out much with him back in Aldera. It was a bit harder with Tomohito. Tomohito constantly trying to get into contact with them at first when Gareth's video was shown to the world didn't make it any easier for them.
They couldn't understand why would Tomohito contact them about it in the first place. It must have been, because he wanted to make the heat he was facing right now lighter and get them involved with this. They knew it had to be the reason and they weren't going to get themselves involved with it. He made his bed by doing something they never asked him to and now he had to lie in it without getting them involved.
Taiga walked into a room in a rundown building and looked around himself to get to know this part of it a bit better, "Is this the good place?"
"Yeah. We won't be seen here." Ryoyu nodded in agreement, having just walked into this place himself as he and Taiga stepped closer to the window to give themselves a view outside while they will have their smokes.
"I doubt we would be seen by anyone here in the first place." Taiga pointed out, pulling out his pack of cigarettes and opening it. He frowned. He was slowly running out of them. How was he going to kill the stress of his situation without them?"
Ryoyu made his way to the window and pointed out in return to his friend, "Hey. Better safe than sorry, right?"
"Yeah. You're right." Taiga nodded in agreement, catching up to him as he pulled out a cigarette and placed it between his teeth. He shot him a questioning look a second later, "Do you have the light?"
Ryoyu pulled out a lighter and held it out to him, "Right here, man."
"Do you have anything to share?" A modified voice rang through their ears a second later, taking both of them by suprise with a wave of fear of someone walking in on them hitting them like a ton of bricks. Taiga and Ryoyu instantly forgot about what they were going to do and shifted their attenton towards the source of the voice. Their hearts almost stopped upon seeing who had just walked in on them and was walking towards them.
It was Gareth.
Even if his face was covered with his mask, they would recognize him straight away eveywhere as they saw enough of him in the news to know how he looked like when he wasn't showing his face. Taiga's cigarette flew out of his mouth in shock with anger slowly beginning to show on his face and Ryoyu dropped his lighter on the floor with his expression growing more nervous and fearful with each step Gareth took towards them.
He looked over his shoulder, looking at the distance between the window and the ground as he began to consider jumping through it to escape Gareth. He gave up on it after seeing the distance between them, though. Eithe way. He was screwed and he knew it. He hid behind Taiga with a fearful look on his face as Taiga reached into his pocket and pulled out a small knife he had kept close to himself whenever he and Ryoyu would sneak out of the safe zone.
"Don't move!" Taiga screamed at Gareth with a mixture of shock and anger on his face.
Gareth stopped in his tracks and looked at the knife pointed towards him with the eyelids of his mask showing two question marks. He looked up at Taiga a second later, "Nakamura. If we're gonna go that way, you'll need a bigger knife. I'm not alone here as well."
Taiga raised his brow at him, wondering what Gareth meant with his words and he got his answer a second later as Alice, Cyborg, Kasai, Tesla, Needle Hair and Steel Bulwark walked into the room and surrounded Taiga and Ryoyu with all of them looking like they were ready for a fight. Ryoyu placed his hand on Taiga's hands, lowering his friends hand as Taiga reluctantly dropped his knife on the floor, knowing there was nothing he could do right now.
"What do you want?" He glared at Gareth with a questioning look on his face.
"I'm just here to talk." Gareth explained, taking off his mask to reveal his face to them as he stepped closer to his former schoolmates and used his red energy to shove Taiga's knife down the floor. Taiga kept his glare on his face, refusing to look away from Gareth as Ryoyu let out a deep nervous breath. He stopped directly in front of them, "I saw you two walking past the street several minutes ago and got a sudden need of catching up for the old times sake with you."
"We have nothing to say to you." Taiga replied as Ryoyu togged on his clothes a bit, telling him to be calm and not to try his luck with Gareth.
"Really? Because I think we have a lot to talk about." Gareth replied with his eyes slowly movng towards Ryoyu who felt a cold chill go down his spine, "You know. I read a lot of comments underneath by confession video the morning after it was revealed and one comment caught my attention. Shintaro JA. Shintaro is your last name isn't it? What did you say to be in your comment? That I should jump off the roof and saved everyone trouble?"
Ryoyu's face turned pale, and his breath caught in his throat as Gareth's words landed like a heavy punch. He mind raced, desperately trying to come up with an answer which won't end bad for him, "T-That... that wasn't me."
"Really? Because I'm certain it's just not a coincidence." Gareth replied, his voice calm which left Ryoyu more scared. Taiga, on the other hand, stood rigid, his glare unwavering, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white. The villain kept his eyes on Ryoyu when he asked, "But let's say it wasn't you. Let's say it was just some random person hiding behind a screen. What I want to know is do you agree with it?"
Ryoyu's mouth opened, but no sound came out as his mind went completely blank. The fear going through his body right now was paralyzing. He didn't want to admit anything, didn't want to provoke Gareth any further, but the silence between them continued on uncomfortably. The tension in the room was palpable, leaving everyone from Gareth's group staring at them like sentinels and looking like they were ready to act.
"What do you want?" Taiga demanded to know from Gareth in a shaky tone. He tried not to make himself sound like this. It was to no avail, though.
"Like I said, I'm just here to talk." Gareth shifted his gaze to him as Alice and Cyborg looked like they were ready to attack Taiga for the way he spoke with Gareth with the young blonde haired woman holding her pistol.
Taiga continued to glare at him, "About what? About you becoming a vile piece of shit because you couldn't take a few pranks we had pulled off on you? Many people would move on from like normal people. You, on the other hand, decided it was a perfect way to justify yourself becoming whatever the fuck you are right now."
"A few pranks? That's what you call this?" Gareth raised his brow. His tone didn't have any anger in it. It was just blank...
Taiga didn't bother to even try to deny this, "Yes. Whatever we did to you does not justify anything you did. It does not justify ruining our lives. We did nothing to you. We just wanted to have some fun and were just being boys around our age..."
"You really think it was just some harmless fun, then." Gareth shook his head as Tesla glared at Taiga and Ryoyu. The way they talked right now really reminded him of people who bullied Hikaru to suicide, "Let me remind you what those jokes led to. They weren't just some harmless pranks to me. You broke me down, piece by piece and then you watched and laughed while the others did the same to me. And now, you're hiding everything out. avoiding the consequences of what you helped create."
Taiga clenched his hand, "We didn't tell Kazari or Bakugo to do any of that. If there's anyone you should focus on, then it should be them. This is why you brought them out of everyone in your video, right? Because they were the worst. We didn't make you do anything either. You're the one who chose to go down this road..."
"You're right about one thing, Nakamura. I made my choices." Gareth admitted as Taiga felt satisfaction hitting him at this. It was short lived, though as Gareth added, "The same way you made your own choices. You pushed me. You laughed when everyone turned on me. You sat there and let it happen because it was fun for you. But now that the world's turned on you, it's suddenly unfair?"
"W-We didn't think it would go this far. We never wanted this to happen." Ryoyu told him in a shaky tone. Gareth could tell Ryoyu wasn't sorry, because he truly felt sorry about this. He felt sorry, because he knew what could have happen to him right now.
"Didn't you, though?" Gareth shifted his gaze from Taiga to Ryoyu, "All the times you called me a sub-human in many ways, stole my food and hit me. It wasn't supposed to go this far according to you? When you all treated me like garbage, like I was nothing, you were planting the seeds for all of this. The difference between you and me is because I know who I am."
"W-What?" Ryoyu asked as Taiga looked at him questioningly.
"You heard me right." Gareth gave him a nod of confirmation, "If believe there's Hell, I don't know if you're into that. I know I'm pretty much going there for everything I did and all the people I killed and hurt with my actions as a way of accomplishing my goal of a better world were shitheads like you won't be born. Even if I will fix the mess I had created with my actions."
Taiga scowled at his words, "Fix your mess? You know the only reason you can fix this is getting yourself locked up."
Gareth shook his head, "No. This isn't the only reason."
"What is it, then? Enlighten me, you piece of shit." Taiga glared at him.
"Do you think I'm give you all the details of whatever I am planning to do now? Do you really take me for an idiot?" Gareth looked at him like he was an idiot, paying no attention to the insults. He already had come up with some plans of how to proceeded from here following this conversation with Tesla. He just to do a few things to be certain whatever he wanted to do. He'd have to regroup with the rest of the League for this, though, "All I can tell you right now is that I'm going to fix everything as I actually know what I did was wrong. Unlike you, who are still trying to deny it and shift blame."
Gareth pointed at himself as he went further into his words, "Look at me now. I'm the monster you helped create with your pas actions. I'm the living consequences of your actions and I'm going to become your legacy. Not only your legacy. I'll be legacy of everyone who wronged me in the past. My family aside from my aunt and uncle and everyone from Aldera. All of you will always be in my shadow and will be remembered as people who had their role in the creation of the Mask."
"I want you to understand something else as well and understand it well." Gareth continued as Taiga and Ryoyu exchanged a glance, both of them knowing they were trapped, "The world has changed from the way it used to be two years ago and nothing will bring it back to the way it was. Trust in the old system will be forever broken by the time we'll be done. Even if the Liberation Front will lose which I will make sure won't happen even if it kills me, nothing will be the same anymore. You're all going to live in this new world. And you're going to see exactly what comes from the choices you made."
The tense atmosphere in the room weighed down on Taiga and Ryoyu as Gareth's words settled in their minds and were processed by them. His voice was steady and cold with such calmless that it left both of them unsettled. Both now stood paralyzed in their fear with Taiga not showing any anger anymore. Gareth's words pierced through his anger, leaving him grappling with a deep fear inside of hm. If they were honest with themselves, they would have preferred if Gareth showed genuine anger in his tone as it would probably be less unnerving to them than his cold calm tone.
Taiga pushed himself out of his silent state a second later, "I-I see."
"D-Do you have something else to say to us?" Ryoyu asked, internally hoping Gareth was done with them. He couldn't remember the last time he was so scared. He had to stop himself from breaking down into tears right here right now as he didn't want to give Gareth the satisfaction of making him cry."
Gareth shook his head, "No. That's everything."
"Does that mean you will leave us alone?" Ryoyo asked with hope beginning to show in his tone.
Gareth looked at him questioningly, "Did you really think I would just let you walk away? For all I know, you two can tell everyone in your safe zone about our encounter and this place will become flooded with heroes and the police."
"D-Don't worry." Ryoyu started to grow nervous again, "W-We won't tell anyone about this."
Taiga nodded, "Y-Yeah. You have our word."
"Your word? I can't trust your word." Gareth pointed out to him.
"Yes. Absolutely you can..." Taiga reassured him with Ryoyu nodding in agreement.
Gareth shook his head, "I wish I could believe you, but I don't. Don't worry, though. I have no plans of killing you. I want people who wronged me in the past to stay alive and live with the consequences of their actions. If it was up to me, then my parents would still be alive."
Taiga grew confused by his words, "What do you plan to do, then?"
"I'm gonna give you a chance to keep yourself alive. Just do as I say. Okay?" Gareth asked, getting nods out of both of them as he shifted his attention away from them and looked out of the window in front of them. He pointed ahead of them a second late when he added, "Look out of the window at the building ahead of us. Right now."
"A-Alright." Ryoyu voiced his understanding of it and slowly turned around to look out of the window at the building ahead of them.
Taiga followed his example and asked, "What now?"
"You see. I made quite a name for myself all over the country and many villains are willing to work for me." Gareth began to explain, pointing towards the nearby window and Taiga and Ryoyu looked ahead of them. It was when two red dots showed up on Taiga and Ryoyu's chest, getting a starled reaction out of both of them as they jumped where they stood, "Don't move. Don't make them think you are planning something. One wrong move and you'll be dead. Upon finding out you two are located nearby, I contacted two assassins from Tartarus and I made a deal with them."
Taiga's eyes widened in horror, "W-What?"
"W-What you talking about?" Ryoyu stuttered out with a terrified look on his face.
Gareth wasted no time and quickly explained everything to them. His tone was utterly serious, showing them he meant everything he had to say to them, "I had to make sure you won't tell anyone about encountering me when you two sneaked out. If you won't tell anyone about this, then you will be left alone. If you will, however, tell anyone about this, then you will be punished them. You won't be able to hide from them as well. They will follow you for the rest of your lives. Even after I'll die or be captured. They will never stop. They will always be two steps behind you and will be ready to pull the trigger in a moment you will least suspect it. One day you will be having a walk in the town, going around your day without care in the world and having completely forgotten about it and then suddenly bang!"
He placed his hands on Taiga and Ryoyu's backs upon uttering those words, making sure to make it rough and sudden to clarify his point of a sudden gunshot and Taiga and Ryoyu reacted to this immediately. They flinched heavily, placing their hands over their faces as if to defend themselves from the upcoming shot with Ryoyu letting out a terrified shriek. They let out deep unsteady breaths, looking utterly terrified right now as Gareth wrapped his arms around them in what he wanted to be a gentle and near comforting grip.
"Cheer up my dear schoolmates." He said after wrapping his arms around them, "I'm certain you are smart enough to know you're not stupid enough to make my friends take care of you. Right?"
Taiga nodded at him shakily, "Y-Yeah..."
"W-We promise that we won't tell anyone about this." Ryoyu promised in a shaky and nervous tone.
"Alright. We'll see if you can keep your word." Gareth nodded in a satisfied manner as he pulled away from Taiga and Ryoyu. He pushed himself into walk a second later, walking past them as he faced them with his back when he waved at them as a way of bidding them goodbye. Alice, Kasai, Tesla, Cyborg, Needle Hair and Steel Bulwark followed Gareth and the group of villains slowly began to leave the place, "That's all I had to say to you. We probably won't see each other ever again. If I'm wrong, however, then until next time."
Ryoyu clenched his hand, "W-Why are you doing this? Don't you have any sympathy in yourself?"
"I do have it. In fact, I have it for many people. Why do you think I have all those people around me? I treat them as human when nobody else would." Gareth stopped in his tracks for a second, gesturing to his comrades and looked over his shoulder at them. His group stopped in their tracks as well and glanced at him, wondering what he would say to them. His eyes narrowed at his former schoolates a second later, "You're one of the exceptions, though."
"..." Ryoyu stayed nothing, having nothing to say to him after this.
The black haired boy turned away from his former schoolmates again a second later, pushing himself into walk again while his group exchanged glances and nods with each other and followed him. Taiga and Ryoyu stayed silent, watching the villains walk away from them with horrified looks on their faces as they couldn't bring themselves to do anything right now while Gareth and his group slowly walked out of their view. Upon seeing the villains vanish from his view, Ryoyu couldn't take it anymore and finally broke down with tears of distress beginning to stream down his cheeks.
Gareth looked over his shoulder upon leaving the building, leaving his former schoolmates behind and felt a wave of satisfaction hitting him. Even if Taiga and Ryoyu were not exposed by him like Bakugo and Tomohito due to them not having anything to do with heroics, he knew he left a lasting effect on them as they will definitely look over their shoulders and live in fear of the assassins getting them for the rest of their lives. They will live in fear, just like he lived in fear back in Aldera when he was afraid each of them being in the mood of messing with them.
Alice, Cyborg, Kasai, Tesla, Needle Hair and Steel Bulwark followed him out of the building and the group soon regrouped with Martial Hair and Gorilla who were waiting for them outside with red lasers in their hands, having played the roles of the assassins in the little show Gareth put up for Taiga and Ryoyu. He expressed their gratitude for them for playing their part in his plan and the two told him it was no problem and explained how it was kind of fun for them.
Tesla took the led of the group of villains a second later, beginning to led them towards the Blackgate prison with everyone following him due to trusting him with his shortcut. As the group walked through the desolate streets towards Blackgate Prison, Gareth glaned at his hand and the red energy circling around it as he found himself thinking back about Minato and his downfall in the form of him lies, betrayals and his eventual death.
He kept his eyes on his hand, seeing the red energy slowly fading away from his hand. He clenched his hand a second later. He wasn't Minato. He wasn't Bakugo. He wasn't Endeavor. By the time he'll be done with everything, he was going to make sure the world knew about it...
The next chapter will be the last chapter in this arc and will wrap this arc up with the fight of this arc and I suspect all of you have figured out what this fight will be.
Funfact: In the very early stages of this story, the final scene of this chapter would happen between Gareth and his parents before I decided they would be killed by Gareth's followers to add more to Gareth Takemura becoming Gareth Shigaraki. I liked the idea of this scene and the dialogue I had in mind for it so much, however, that I decided to do this scene anyway with Taiga and Ryoyu replacing Gareth's parents in it.
Season 7 ended and it was a fun ride. Hard to believe it's over as it feels like it had just started to me. Overally it did well adapting the manga and I loved seeing all the moment animated. The moment with Iron Might was pure hype for me. I don't want to wait for the next year for the final season. The fact that MHA, Nier and Oshi No Ko all ended now makes it worse as I don't have anything to watch now. Here's hoping the third season of Arknights will be out soon.
As for the new movie, I haven't seen it so I don't have an opinion on it. Curse of living in a small town as my town barely puts on the movies that I'm interested in. Having two movies which I want to watch in a single month like Beetlejuice and Joker (even if the latter was crap) is a rarity.
We got the teaser for the next episode of the Fedora Chronices and I'm so excited to watch this, whenever it will come out. The teaser left me wanting more and honestly I lost the count of how many times I watched. To be honest I'm more excited for this movie than most movies. No matter what happens, however, I hope the Birdcage Pyro will survive.
The second season of Oshi no Ko came to an end and I can say I liked what we got in this season. Seeing the theater arc animated was fun even if it was a bit slow. I can't wait to see season 3. Especially since Hikaru entered the picture.
Watched the Wild Robot and I absolutely loved it. Go watch it now. The pattern of Dreamwork releasing masterpieces after releasing mild crap will never cease to amaze me, lol.
Hope it wasn't so bad. See you in another chapter.
