Chapter 4: taking off to devils bayou
All Passangers please report for flight 16-14 said an announcement over a intercom the next morning at the airport as passengers came here to either board a plane or leaving to visit there families as two certain imps are running as fast as they can go to get to their plane on time "Come on Mills Sharlia is probably at Devils bayou by now!" Moxxie said to Millie as the female imp was caring a luggage with things in it. The shorter male imp was of course not keen about taking a flight to the swamp as he has a big fear of heights due to childhood trama caused by his father "Sorry but even a farm girl like me needed to pack a few things" Millie apologized trying to catch up to Moxxie with a suit case filled with her items.
The two heros soon got to the escalator and rode on it as another announcement calls over the intercom will a report to the ticket counter please?' Asked the intercom as the escalator goes to the rooftop of the airport where helicopters and smaller planes are going and landing as Moxxie and millie came off the escalator "Flight 6-14" no departing" said the intercom as Moxxie pulled Millie out of the way before she could get crowded as a helicopter with people waiting to get on was a bout to depart as the duo carefully crawled under it as they got to the other side on time. Soon the approached a sign that that said "Flights to devils Bayou tours" that is where they were going to get to devils bayou.
After climbing up some stairs to it as they entered the place and sat there luggage on a scale nearby before looking around as it looked like a disorganized mess. As Moxxie studied the schedule for departure for Devils bayou "Lets see…the flight leaves at 6:45 *Looks at the clock and frowns* its 7:00, awww we miss the flight Mills why did you have to…" started Moxxie as Millie giggled "you really need to relax flight s are always late, you know that" she said as a voice came out of a HAM radio saying.
"Flight 13 captain speaking" said a male voice as Millie hugged Moxxie arm "See were in luck already Moxxie" said Milie as Moxie made a face "Eh Luck, Flight 13?" He asked nervous as he was minority super stitious as he was nervous while glad for the flight, not so happy about the number as he grabbed his suitcase "Err I think we should take the train" he said "Excuse me can someone pick down there say something " said a German accented voice "Love please relax I am sure someone will call" said a calm French accented voice startling Moxxie "Hay off the dime is there anyone down there? My dad is getting anxious" said the first voice "I am not anxious Blitzo!" Said the German voice as Moxxie took the microphone off the radio and speaks "Uh hay, hello?" Asked Moxxie a bit nervous "Nine nine, where are you? Speak up dont whisper" said the German voice as Moxxie yelped as he turns over to the sound speaker part of the radio to explain "We only got her sirs, my co-agent insist on packing her…" started Moxxie "Ok ok, I am sorry for my husbands rudeness its really thick here with air traffic though mostly its because we…*cue the sound of blasting as a huge blast of wind that knocks Moxxie to the ground* are in air traffic" said the French accented voice "Sorry if my papa gets anxious but how on we are coming down" said the first voice…Blitzo as the German voice as getting anxious as Moxxie knowing many languages as he turned down the radio as Millie looked out the window for the plane as she turned to the male imp asking "Um Mox what did he say?" Asked Millie. "Trust me Mill, you dont want to know" Said Moxxie blushing as he didnt want to offend Millie with what the German voiced figure said.
"Well tell him we give him permission to land" said Millie as Moxxie sighed and turned up the radio "Uh captain..you got permission to land" he said "Uggh finally, I was getting a bit nervous and anxious to get on the ground" said the German voice "Were coming down so watch out" said the French voice as Moxxie was confused "We? I guess its crew of family" wondered Moxxie "Mox look that must be him!" Said Millie pointing at something out the window as Moxxie ran over to get a better look himself. Sure enough both Moxxie and millie now saw a big red and black plain called the SOS Holy imp gotcha flying through the roof as they guess that it must be where the posit and his crew are "Ohh they flew that plane beautifully" as Millie smiled cutely to the worried Moxxie "And you want to leave the train, friary cat" said Moxxie blushed "Me a fradiy cat? Noooooo, I just like the train that's all, they serve good food and…" he then yelped in alarm seeing the plane was about to head to low away from the runway as if it was about to collide with the building "GAHHH! Pull up! Pull up!" He yelled waving his arms as luckily the pilot saw and flew up to make the landing. Apparently the fella was trying to lower the speed but it failed as the plane itself slid around as the two imps watched as the male imp cringed until the flying machine stopped.
Moxxie ran out to rush to the plane as three figures came out. One a thin almost serpent like imp dressed in a Hawaiian t-shirt and sky blue shorts and a newsboy cap. His name was Blitzo. The other was a surprise one was a ball like floating machine with one eye and a exposed brain in a dome his name was The brain and the other was a gorilla, a hell gorilla as shown by his eyes and marks with a sash and a French beret, his name was Mallah as Blitzo dusted himself off.
"Not bad papa Brain" said Blitzo "Oh it was my dear you were amazing" said Mallah patting Blitzes head as Brain floated over "I could had handled it dears I say next time let me pilot" said Brain "We belive that but those seekers were in breeding season we just anciently flew into there skys by accident" said Blitzo as Moxxie was nervous as he took Millie by the hand as the three listened the the imp "Millie I think we better take the train, nothing persona *To the piolets* nothing personal its to be safe" said Moxxie "A train safe, nine, nine, we are the best piolets and the best scientists there are, we both raised *Poitns to Blitzo* this imp into a fine young man and he has a amazing husband and 2 great children waiting at the bayou" said Brain "Agreed we will make sure you get you safe and sound there" said Malla "You are wonderful captain" said Millie "Awe your sweet, my name is Blitzo, and these are my adopted Dads Monsuoer Mallah and The brain, sorry about what Papa Brain said at times he and daddy Mallah can get excited" said Blitzo assuring the shorter male imp as he wasnt assured.
After witness the crazy landing by this imps adopted dad, getting to Devils bayou may count on him and Millie getting there alive "Fine, Blitzo its very important me and Millie get to Devils bayou as soon as possible" said Moxxie introducing themselves and explaining what was going on "We got a dangerous mission to go down there and we need to do it before its too late" said Moxxie as Blitzo hummed "So that is it, Frizzaroli told me that his daughter was kidnapepd and that poor little imp boy that they were gonna adopt and that must be where they are" said Blitzo "Then its a rescue mission to save our Niece, alright *gently pats Moxxie head* we assure you flight 13 will be ready to hit the skys in 5 minutes" said Mahalla as he and his husband and adopted son went to the storage area to get ready for the next flight.
Later the crew got the plane prepped as Moxxie and millie were climbing up the steps ramp to get into the plane itself as Moxxie counted the steps "8…11…12…yikes!" He yelled as he stops before getting on the last step looking worried as Millie was on some steps a little behind him "Is everything ok?" Aske Millie "Mills there are 13 steps on the ladder" he said nervous as Millie giggled "How about we jump on the last one?" She asked as she gently took Moxxie hand and they jumped into the plane over the last step as Blitzo guided them to there seats "Alright now, welcome aboard, please fasten your seat belts, no smoking allowed and dont worry leave the flying to me and Papa Mallah "I can fly too!" Yelled brain but he was grounded in a kiddies seat as he was buckled in by his husband "We know dear but you need a bit of a time out when you nearly blasted that poor seeker pair" said Mallah.
"Hay Millie *Fasensed his seat belt in the seat next to the female imp* I think you better fasten your seatbelt good and tight" he said nervous as Millie giggled "dont worry I will I will" she said as she bucked up tight.
"Dear son be sure to read the checklist will jah?" Asked Brain "On it pops *gets a piece of paper* hat on (Mallah: Check *Putting his pilot hat on*) Wing flaps down (Mallah: Check *Pushing a put-on as the plane flaps flew down a bit) Food?" Asked Blitzo "Its packed and ready for us and our guests" said Brain as Blitzo got into his co pilot seat "Alright we are set to take off" said Blitzo buckling up as Mallah starts up the plane as it drove off the roof as it made some noises as Moxxie was worried but Millie was excited "I still wished we could have taken the train" he said scared as the plane was lifting up a bit before landing on the roof as it lifted up and landed a bit before falling off and then taking off as Millie cheered "Wooohoo I just love take offs!" Said Millie as the plane pulled up as it begins to fly forward as the passengers held on to the chairs in excitement and a bit of fear as Mallah and Blitzo flew over the city. "Oh Mallah you and blitzo are amazing" said Millie as Moxxie exhaled trying to relax as Millie hugged and gave him a kiss on the cheek as he blushed "Try to not be so scared and stop worrying it will be ok" she said as Moxxie smiled and relaxed feeling better. Perhaps being on this flight won't be so scary…if they survive after all.
Authors note: the imps are on there way to save Mi and Oliver in the devils bayou.
Next chapter after a sweet and beautiful flight, the duo managed to make it to the swamp but as Mockingbird and Oliver tried to run away the evil former celestial dragon went on the search.
