Chapter 1: Welcome Christmas:
Story:
If you climb the mountain, and walk through the snow, this town is where you are sure to go. A town so beautiful, as it would seem, that you swear, this was only a dream. A town called Newville, and it would appear, that everyone here, loves this time of year.

Trim up the tree with Christmas stuff like bingle balls and who-floo fluff
Trim up the tree with goo-hoo guns and bizel blicks at ones
Trim every blessed window and trim every blessed door
Hang up woo boo hoo bricks, then run out and get some more
Hang pantukas on the ceiling, pile panpunas on the floor
Trim every blessed needle on the blessed Christmas tree

Everyone in Newville liked Christmas a lot, but the Grinch, who lives just north of Newville did not. What is a grinch? Is that what you wonder? No one knows. Even he would ponder. But just wait where you are, and you'll find the answer is not very far.
The Grinch has awakened and gets off his bed, really wishing that he were dead. He then rings the bell, to call for his dog, Max, for he has an important task. "Max, time for my breakfast!"

So Max has prepared the Grinch's food, for if he does not eat, the Grinch will be in a bad mood. "I am starving..." The Grinch sees something that makes him mean. "What is this depressing bean?" The Grinch searches, hoping it was a scam. "Where's my green eggs and ham? My Zook Butter Toast?" Max barks. "We can't be out of food! How much emotional eating have I been doing?"
Flashback:
Plenty. The Grinch has been eating at any time. He's been eating so much; I'm having trouble coming up with rhymes.
Present:
Max barks.
"No! No! I will not go out there during Ch... during Ch... during... Ch...rist...ma...s!" Max barks. "Fine, but I'm going to be in disguise!"
