Revenge
Five years after the Sasuke retrieval mission. Konohagakure. Jonin exams, Konoha stadium.
Naruto sat in the Kage booth besides his fellow Kages. To his right sat the newly appointed Raikage, Yugito Nii while to his left sat the Kazekage Sabaku no Gaara, both of them fellow Jinchuriki and good friends of Naruto. Naruto himself had become the Yondaime Tsuchikage after marrying the granddaughter of Onoki, Kurotsuchi. Although most of the elemental nations didn't know his real name. Tsunade Senju, the Godaime Hokage sat next to Gaara, while Mei Terumi, the Godaime Mizukage sat next to Yugito.
After he managed to defeat Sasuke Uchiha in the valley of the end, he dragged the last Uchiha back to Konoha, while nearly dying in the process. When he reached the gates of Konoha the last thing he saw was the worried look on one Sakura Haruno, as she rushed towards them. When he next woke up it was in a dark cell, his chakra being sealed off and bound in chains. He didn't know how long he spent in the cell before someone finally visited him. When the door to his cell opened, he got temporarily blinded by the light entering the room. When his eyes adjusted to the light a lone figure stood before him.
Flashback.
"Baa-Chan? Why am I in this cell? What happened?"
Tsunade strolled towards Naruto and instead of answering, she delivered a bone breaking punch into Narutos gut, before withdrawing again and speaking up.
"You damned demon! I send you to take back the Uchiha unharmed and what do you do? You punch a Rasengan into his gut! We should be thankful that Sasuke is a skilled Shinobi or else you would've killed him."
"What? But…I held back!"
"As if a failure like you could do anything of that magnitude. You used the Kyubis power and lost control over yourself."
"I didn't, I-"
Another punch, but this time to his face silenced Naruto. The force of the punch destroyed his left eye, and he started screaming in pain.
"Don't worry brat, we still have a purpose for you. We announced your heritage to the world and as expected, Iwa immediately sent an ambassador with the demand to hand you over. Konoha has finally achieved peace with Iwa. But don't get too full of yourself. Your father and mother would surely be disappointed in you, but it won't matter anymore. You damned demon. You have killed them!"
Tsunade continued to punch Naruto within an inch of his life, before healing him to a state where he would at least survive.
"Iwa asked for you to be unharmed, probably so they could break you themselves, but we will just tell them that all your permanent injuries came from your fight with Sasuke. There are quite a few people that want to take a shot at you, so do your job once in your life and don't die!"
With this Tsunade turned around and left the cell.
Flashback end.
What followed was the worst time of Narutos life. The first to enter his cell again was Anko Mitarashi. She had been told that the village would finally drop judging her for her past dealings with Orochimaru if she tortured Naruto, they would even remove her curse seal, and torture him she did. Grinning sadistically, she ripped into Narutos flesh, carving him up, tearing the skin from his bones and leaving him a bloody mess. When he had healed up again, he was visited by people he would've called friends in the past. First was Shikamaru who blamed him for the near death of Choji and he beat up Naruto. He was followed by Shino who repeatedly drained Naruto via his bugs, bringing Naruto into a deathlike state multiple times. He was followed by Kiba who clawed viciously at Naruto telling him that this was for his humiliation in the Chunin exams. Kiba was followed by Sakura, Ino and Tenten who used a combination of mind Jutsu, weapons and fists to mess him up. Sasuke, when his time came, proceeded to rape Naruto multiple times, telling him that he wished the demon could become his own personal toy for daring to strike at an Uchiha elite. When Hinata visited him, she told him that a no one would ever love a demon like him, and that she wished that she could castrate him, but they weren't allowed to do so, probably because Iwa wanted to breed a new generation of Uzumakis. She just left him without doing any physical harm, but her words cut deep. The last to visit were Neji, Lee and Choji. All three of them just stood before him, throwing insults at him and laughing at what had happened. The last words Naruto heard was Lee telling him that he at least brought Tsunade back to heal him, but that he would never be indebted to an un-youthful demon like him. After the rookies took their rage out on him every Jonin continued to make his life a living hell. All except Inoichi. The Yamanaka clan head accidently dove too deep into Narutos mind and found himself before the Kyubi. Kurama was the only one that gave Naruto a chance to breath, as he came to respect the young Shinobi for his efforts against Gaara and Sasuke. When Inoichi stood before the large fox, Naruto charged at him and kicked him inside of Kyubis cage, who proceeded to feast on the Yamanakas soul. Tsunade decided that they needed to cut their losses and went to the meeting with Iwa in wave country.
The people of wave, seeing their hero in chains, barely alive and with an empty stare, they immediately protested in an uproar. They started to gather, weapons in hand and had the Iwa delegation not arrived, the crowd would've engaged the Konoha Shinobi to free their hero. It was only when the Jinchuriki Han gave Tazuna a letter from the Tsuchikage personally did the crowd begin to disperse. Tazuna told Tsunade personally that they would let the world know what Konoha did to the young Uzumaki, and that wave would never again allow Konoha Shinobi on their territory. When the Konoha Shinobi left, Tazuna told Han that wave would be interested in trading with Iwa and that they would send any mission request to their village. Naruto was to far gone at this point to even realize what had happened but when Han entered Narutos mindscape, he explained everything to Naruto and that he was safe now. Of course, Naruto didn't really believe him, but Kurama told him that he should at least try to have some hope left. Han then injected an anaesthetic into Naruto and the delegation went to Iwa.
When Naruto awoke again, he was greeted by the Sandaime Tsuchikage Onoki and his granddaughter Kurotsuchi. They explained to him how he had been a friend of Kushina Uzumaki and her husband Minato Namikaze, even though the Yondaime killed many Shinobi. He went on to explain that he had publicly declared Naruto as dead and that he would get a new identity along with some changes they made to his body. They used a permanent DNA altering dye to change Narutos hair colour to a crimson red, while changing it from spiky to straight. They got help from a Kiri Ninja who used a Jutsu to turn Narutos teeth shark like, while regrowing the ones he had lost. They had even removed multiple seals that were on his body and had the purpose of hampering the Uzumakis growth, power, intellect and even his libido. Naruto then told them everything that had happened to him while in Konoha, including his time in the cell, he then told them that he wanted revenge, but would not force them to help, which got quickly shot down by the pair who told him that Konoha, and all its residents would have hell to pay. All aside from five specific people. They told Naruto that Ayame and Teuchi had left Konoha and were escorted to Iwa to setup their stall in Narutos new village. Then there was the Konohamaru corps who heard what happened to their boss and left Konoha in disguise to go to wave country, where they were escorted to Iwa once they met up with the local ambassador Han. Onoki told Naruto that there were only a few people left that knew Narutos true identity. The Konohamaru corps, Ayame and Teuchi, Onoki, Kurotsuchi, Han, Tazuna, Inari and Tsunami, Gaara and princess Koyuki. Only these people would know the true name of the now named Haku of Stone.
A few months passed that Naruto spent in the hospital, going through rehabilitation. He was visited most of the time by Kurotsuchi, who, despite her loudmouthed nature, became a close friend of Naruto. She was with him through the whole process and was the one person that Naruto told everything. He trusted her, despite his believes that he could never trust again. She was there for him when he went through long sessions with psychologists and the times he fell into deep depressions. When she was in the village, she shared a bed with him, because they quickly realized that his night terrors would haunt him for the rest of his life, and Kurotsuchi was able to comfort him when he woke up screaming in the middle of the night. Over time these terrors occurred less and less when she slept besides him, but they never truly vanished.
Konoha on the other hand went through dire times. It started with wave, who embargoed the whole of fire nation and forbade anyone that originated from Konoha to ever step foot on wave country. A month after Naruto entered Iwa, Sasuke once again went rogue, but this time the retrieval mission ended in failure, leading to the brutal death of Kurenai Yuhi after Sasuke beat her down, raped her and put a Chidori through her chest. Naruto was sad that he wasn't the one to kill her, never forgetting when the Jonin tested new Genjutsu on him as well as the torture she delivered when he was in the cell. Sasuke spent the next year with Orochimaru before killing him and going after his brother. By the time Konoha learned of the death of Kurenai, the village also got more bad news. Suna officially ended their alliance with Konoha, stating that a village that tortures its heroes and honours its traitors is no ally to them. They were quickly followed by snow country and even Takigakure ended their alliance with Konoha after their Jinchuriki became the new leader of the village.
Two years after Naruto entered Iwa a lone figure entered the village and asked the Tsuchikage for one Naruto Uzumaki. Onoki, who couldn't risk this to come out, imprisoned him and it was quickly revealed that the figure was Itachi Uchiha. Naruto, who was by then a Jonin of Iwa and got trained to be the next Tsuchikage, visited Itachi together with Onoki and Kurotsuchi to ask him how he found out about his identity and why he went to Iwa. Itachi went on to explain that Akatsuki fell apart the moment Narutos death was announced. The true leader, one Obito Uchiha, was attacked by Pein and Konan and all three of them perished in the battle. Next came Kakuzu, who got granted amnesty by the leader of Takigakure, Fu. He managed to kill Hidan by ripping out his heart and taking it as his own, with Itachi burning the body with his black flames. Kisame returned to Kirigakure after the rebels won the civil war with the help of Iwa and Kumo, while Deidara killed himself through a large explosion after losing his fight with Itachi, which somewhat saddened Kurotsuchi. Zetsu got caught up in the fighting and when he was occupied by Kisame, Itachi burned him. Itachi then told Naruto that he got his information about Naruto from Gaara and revealed two scrolls. One of the scrolls was a letter written by the young Kazekage in which he explained why he told Itachi about Naruto. The second scroll was a stasis scroll meant for prisoners, and it revealed a battered and eyeless but still alive Sasuke who quickly got shoved into a cell until Naruto decided what he would do to him. Itachi then explained how he had a second gift for Naruto and that gift was his eternal Mangekyo Sharingan as well as the Rinnegan. Itachi told Naruto how to combine these two which would grant Naruto the Rinne-Sharingan and allows him to finally see on both eyes again. When the operation was done, Itachi thanked Naruto and told him how sorry he was about what happened between him and Sasuke. He told him how Sasuke boasted about how he awoke his Mangekyo Sharingan by raping Naruto and Itachi was so furious with him that he decided it was time for the Uchiha clan to end. He explained everything about the Uchiha clan massacre to Naruto and asked him to become one of Narutos paths after he kills him. Naruto quickly complied, killing Itachi in a quick manner and he then proceeded to make Itachi his Naraka path. Naruto then made his path kill Sasuke by ripping out his manhood and slicing open his stomach, making Sasuke die in extreme pain.
Even now Naruto couldn't help but chuckle while thinking back to that day as it marked the beginning of Narutos revenge.
Currently his cousin, Karin Uzumaki was fighting against one of the rookies, Ino Yamanaka. After her father lost his mind to Kurama, she tried to become a Jonin in order to assume her position as clan head, but these thoughts quickly vanished when Karin started to go all out against her. Ino tried to use a mind shatter Jutsu on her only to miss and in a matter of seconds, Karin shot her chains towards Ino, piercing her stomach and taking her out of the fight. When the proctor announced Karin to be the winner, Shizune quickly came with her medics to save the young heiress. Karin bowed once towards Naruto and then left the arena. After a short while the next match was announced to be between Hanabi Hyuga and Matsuri of Sunagakure.
Naruto once again chuckles when he heard the name Hyuga, thinking back to his days as an Iwa special forces Jonin together with Kurotsuchi. The two of them formed a special cell a few months after Itachi came to Iwa and their only purpose was to weaken Konoha. They always travelled while masked and without show of allegiance, with Naruto using a fox mask and Kurotsuchi using a bear mask. Their first target was team 9, who went to rice country, to negotiate the annexation into fire country. The two of them ambushed the team by launching an all-out assault against Guy, killing him without having to fight the green beast of Konoha. Lee was so stunned by the sudden death of his mentor that he realized to late that Naruto targeted him next, stabbing Lee in the neck, severing his spinal cord and paralyzing the Taijutsu expert. Naruto twisted the blade to do as much damage as possible so Tsunade would be unable to heal him. While this was going on, Kurotsuchi caught Tenten in her lava, burning the girl while she screamed for Neji to save her. Before Neji could react, Naruto used Tsukiyomi and Kotoamatsukami on him quickly breaking him and giving him a command for when he returns to Konoha. A few weeks later news travelled across the elemental nations of another clan massacre in Konoha. Neji Hyuga had slaughtered most of the Hyuga clan except for Hanabi Hyuga and a few branch members. It was said that he killed Hinata Hyuga by shattering her womb and the girl died through the internal bleeding. Neji would later be executed by fire.
Now the ever-arrogant Hanabi got hit by multiple Kunai in the head, chest and stomach, dying immediately with Matsuri being declared the winner by death, effectively wiping out the whole Hyuga family due to the recent deaths of the other surviving branch members. Tsunade was beyond pissed and snapped at her fellow Kages.
"What the fuck, these are meant to be competitions, not battles to the death!"
Gaara immediately answered her allegation: "Wasn't it Hanabi Hyuga who killed one of my Chunin in the preliminaries? It is quite hypocritical of you Hokage-Sama."
Tsunade wanted to punch the young Kazekage, but she knew that he was right. The next match came, and it was a battle between Karui and Sakura Haruno, apprentice to Tsunade and the Hokage in waiting. Naruto wanted to laugh, because he had gotten Sakura a year ago and had her under full control, which would come in handy as soon as the invasion started. Karui knew her job was to heavily injure the pink haired banshee, so Tsunade would go to heal her personally, which would mark the beginning of the invasion. When Karui started beating the crap out of Sakura, the Hokage once again tensed up, hoping she would survive.
After Karui was done with Sakura, she was bleeding all over her body, but none of her injuries were life threatening, but this didn't matter to Tsunade, who jumped down from the Kage booth and ran up to Sakura. Naruto nodded to his fellow Kages, giving them the signal that the battle had started.
When Tsunade had healed Sakura the two of them stood up and Tsunade turned to the proctor, no doubt to instruct him on something, when it happened. Sakura drew a Kunai, rushed towards Tsunade and plunged the Kunai into her skull, which shocked the whole crowd. Anbu quickly rushed to apprehend Sakura, while the observers screamed and ran in horror. Up in the Kage booth, the four Kages stood up and went to their designated targets.
Konoha council chamber, 10 minutes later.
The council had quickly gathered after the attack on Tsunade and the room was in uproar. No one knew what drove Sakura towards the attack on Tsunade and they weren't even sure if the Godaime Hokage even died. While everyone argued, the door to the chamber opened, revealing Tsunade, unharmed. She quickly went to the Hokages seat and sat down.
"ORDER!"
Everyone turned to look at her in shock, quickly gathering themselves, the various clan heads, Jonin and civilians took their seats and waited for someone to speak. That someone was the mother of a certain banshee.
"How are you alive Hokage-Sama? Was this all a trick on your part? Surely my daughter wouldn't just attack you."
Tsunade smirked.
"Don't worry, the attack on me wasn't your daughter's doing."
Suddenly a barrier went up, trapping everyone in the room. Tsunade then dropped her disguise and revealed herself to be none other than Naruto.
"Tsuchikage-Sama? What are you-"
The civilian couldn't finish his sentence before he was blasted into million pieces, when Naruto revealed his Rinne-Sharingan. The Jonin and clan heads quickly went out of their seats to engage Naruto, while the civilians as well as the advisor council tried to flee the scene, only to be unable to open the doors. Naruto summoned his Susanoo and started slaughtering the occupants in the room, throwing black flames all around him.
Konoha.
While the leadership of Konoha was unable to respond, the village was attack from all sides. Gaara started slaughtering the people in the streets by transforming into his full Biju form. Kurotsuchi started coating the streets in Lava while Yugito transformed into her cat form and going through hundreds of Konoha Ninja. Mei had been revealed to have been a Shadow Clone, while the real Mei was outside of Konoha with a combined army of Kumo, Kiri, Iwa and Suna Shinobi. Giving the command to attack, they quickly broke through the walls thanks to the toad summons Naruto provided. One year ago, Naruto had managed to catch Jiraiya on Mt. Myoboku after he had informed the Toads of his past. They agreed to trap Jiraiya once he enters their realm and Naruto proceeded to burn him alive, while the perverted sage rambled about the prophecy and how Naruto was the chosen one. Before the life faded from Jiraiya, Pa came up to him and told him that prophecies are never to be taken seriously, and that the old toad probably had the vision because of his immense opium consumption.
Once the walls came down, mayhem broke loose in Konoha. All around the streets lay dead civilians and Shinobi. The hospital got bombed into the ground by Iwas destruction corps, lead by none other than Konohamaru Sarutobi. Kakashi could be seen fighting against Kisame, quickly losing ground and Chakra, while being cut up all over his body. In the arena was a lone figure left, one Sakura Haruno, crying over the body of her Sensei, asking herself why she killed her. Her mind had been broken and it didn't take long until a clone of Naruto came up to her. Sakura looked at the Tsuchikage with fear and remorse in her eyes and asked a single question: "Why?" Naruto answered her with a question on his own: "Why wouldn't I destroy this shithole of a village?" Before Sakura could even answer, Naruto drew his sword and stabbed Sakura through her heart, leaving her on the ground to die in her own blood.
When the real Naruto left the Hokage tower, he could see carnage and death all around him. Taking a deep breath, he summoned his paths before zeroing in on the Hokage mountain.
"Goodbye, Konoha. Time to end you. Shinra Tensei!" The explosion rocketed through the village, parts of the stone faces flying all around it, crushing the academy and the Hokage tower. Naruto had to summon his Susanoo to shield himself and his paths from the rubble coming from the explosion. He then started to walk through the blood-filled village, being attacked occasionally by Konoha Shinobi, including Shikamaru and Choji. Naruto proceeded to draw Choji towards him, catching him in his Susanoos fist. Shikamaru could only scream when it closed its fist, crushing Choji into a million pieces, before swiping his other hand towards Shikamaru, crushing his body. Along the way, Naruto met up with the love of his life, Kurotsuchi, who practically jumped into his arms, drowning him in kisses.
It happened when both of them were out on their revenge spree. While snuggling together in a sleeping bag, watching the flames of their campfire while being guarded by Narutos paths. Kurotsuchi looked Naruto in his eyes and whispered three simple words: "I love you!" Narutos eyes went wide, he had developed feelings for her long ago, but he knew how damaged he was and that no one could love a demon.
"Do…do you really mean it…I mean…I am just a broken demon…"
Kurotsuchi proceeded to kiss Naruto and answered all his questions: "Yes you Baka…I love you!"
"I…I love you too."
While some tears flowed out of his eyes, the pair spent the rest of the night kissing and further snuggling into each other.
A year after they started their relationship Naruto proposed to Kurotsuchi and she accepted, marrying a few months later. The reception was large and included people from all around the elemental countries. Gaara was Narutos best man, while Koyuki got the honours of wedding the two. Yugito was the chosen maid of honour. After the wedding, Onoki officially announced his retirement, declaring Naruto the Yondaime Tsuchikage. There was only one big problem for the couple. Because of his past experience, Naruto had a hard time when it came to intercourse. They had never gone very far before being wed; their sessions being interrupted most of the time by flashbacks. It was in their wedding night that they had sex for the first time, and while it still left Naruto with another night of terror, he felt it was worth it. After the wedding night, he became more and more stable when it came to intercourse, and by the time before the invasion, he had no more problems with it aside from occasional nights without much sleep, but no matter how taxing, Kurotsuchi was there for him and he took extra care to make it up to her, even though she always told him that he didn't need to worry.
Now they walked the bloody streets of Konoha hand in hand.
"You know, sweetheart…I really love you. Thank you for everything."
Naruto proceeded to kiss his wife, while a large wave of sand washed through Konoha, and explosions went off in the background.
