Satoru Gojo walks through the halls of his new school, his gaze bored as the sound of a mosquito rings in his ears.
"And tha-... Gojo? Hey, are you listening?!" His teacher, Masamichi Yaga, asks.
Gojo hits his hand, realizing that the mosquito sound he is hearing is his teacher. "Huh? Did you say something?"
Yaga clenches his fist veins appearing on his face. "I'VE BEEN SPEAKING THIS WHOLE TIME!"
Gojo gives a carefree smile. "Nuh u-"
With zero hesitation, Yaga punches him into the floor. "PAY ATTENTION!"
Gojo jumps up, dusting himself off unharmed. "So, old man, Where's the other first years? It can't just be me, right?"
Yaga's eye twitches. 'I went over this already..' He takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "IF YOU HAD PAID ATTENTION!" He clears his throat. "You'd know they aren't here yet."
"Soooooooooo, why am I here then?" Gojo asks, adjusting his glasses.
"I.." Yaga sighs. "Kami, help me... I'm giving you a tour of the school while we wait for the other students to arrive so we may continue."
"Ohhhh! Okay!" Gojo claps his hands together, nodding that he understands. The two then stand in a small silence. "Sooo... What's that?" He points to a statue.
Yaga grinds his teeth together, Summoning all his willpower not to strangle the Gojo Clan's heir. With a deep sigh, he begins explaining stuff all over again that Gojo ignored earlier.
As Yaga talks, a girl opens the door and looks around briefly. "Sensei, have you seen Mei Mei?" The raven-haired girl asks before her eyes fall on the Gojo Heir. A look of recognition in her eyes. "Oh, it's-"
"FINALLY!" Gojo interrupts her. "Oh." He drops his glasses to get a better look at her. "Wait... Are you a first-year?"
The girl looks up at him disbelievingly. "No... No, I'm not." There was a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Mm.. Yeah, I didn't think so." Gojo says nonchalantly.
Veins appear across the girl's face as Yaga sighs, shaking his head in disappointment. "You.." She says with barely suppressed anger.
Gojo removes his glasses, and a look of confusion appears. "Uhhh? Oh," He smirks, leaning in close to the girl.
"Are you saying I looked old?!" The girl asks incredulously.
"Nah... It's the way you carry yourself. You've got this really mature look." He says, as his smile grows.
"Oh! I..." Her expression gets softer as Yaga sighs at seeing another girl fall for Gojo's charms.
"So you want an autogr-" He starts.
"YOU'RE SUCH A LIAR!" She hits his head.
"OW?! WHY?! I'd never lie!" He holds his head, not having been prepared for the hit at all.
"Yeah, right! I'm sure you were telling the truth. Don't you have any manners?! Especially when it comes to a woman's age!" The girl scolds him.
"I told you! I wasn't calling you old!" Gojo yells at the shorter girl.
"You didn't have to say it! It was on your expression!" She argues back.
Sniffling interrupts their arguing as they look back to see Yaga wiping his eyes. "I-I'm so proud.."
Gojo tilts his head, putting his glasses back on. "You alright there? Having a midlife crisis already, old timer?"
The girl calms down, looking worried. "Are you okay, Sensei?"
"Yes, " he wipes some tears from his eyes. I've never been better. You never fail to make me proud, Utahime."
"Oh... Um, thank you. But what did I do?" She asks, confused but pleased.
"You've done well. Very, very well, Utahime." He nods approvingly. 'Finally, a girl who isn't head over heels for this idiot.'
Gojo makes a gesture with his hand in a circle around his head. "Old man has finally lost i-"
Yaga uppercuts the teen into the ceiling. Utahime looks up at the hole, clapping. "A clean hit, Sensei!"
Gojo drops down from the ceiling unharmed. 'Luckily, I had Infinity up this time. In case this girl tried to hit me again.' He cracks his neck. "You're gonna pull something if you keep doing things like that old man."
"Satoru.." Yaga cracks his knuckles, leaning over the teen.
"Okay... Okay." Gojo backs off.
Utahime notices the clock. "Ah! I need to find Mei Mei before she fines me for keeping her waiting!" She hurriedly turns around and leaves.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Gojo grabs her wrist. "Your name, I never got it!"
'Oh.. He looks genuinely interested in her. Even though I've already said her name a few times now.' Yaga shakes his head, disappointed. 'He's still got a lot of growing up to do..'
"You really don't.." Her expression looks hurt before turning into disgust as she yanks her wrist out of his grasp. "You have no manners! Don't touch me so casually if you don't even know my name!"
Gojo looks surprised at how this girl scolds him. "But you were about to leave, so.."
"So? So what?! Is that your excuse? You could've said countless things to get me to stop!" She continues.
"Erm.. I.. Uh.. Sorry." Gojo stammers. "I-I don't.. really.."
Yaga watches this, completely dumbfounded. 'Is she actually scolding him?.. And making him apologize?!'
"You should be sorry!" She gets closer to him, holding her finger up as she continues. "I would think someone born from one of the three families would've been raised to be proper citizens! Or has their constant praises warped your mind into being an arrogant-"
Yaga clears his throat, regaining his composure. "Utahime. Didn't you have somewhere to be?
"Oh! Right!" She gives Gojo one more disapproving look before running out of the classroom, presumably to return to looking for her classmate.
"Utahime... Utahime. Thanks, Yaga!" He watches after her, his interest piqued. "So now what? " he looks back to his teacher.
"Let's just continue the tour. AND PAY ATTENTION THIS TIME!" He yells as Gojo turns his head, sighing.
"Yeah... Yeah..." Gojo agrees. But immediately, as his teacher starts talking, he tunes it out again. His mind is still on the girl from earlier. 'Something about her... What is it?'
After some time, Gojo finally stands before the other first years.
"Introduce yourselves to one another. I'll be back after completing the paperwork. Don't cause any more trouble, Satoru." Yaga walks out of the classroom.
"Uh-huh. Uh-huh." Gojo says absentmindedly, not paying attention and causing his teacher annoyance.
The girl looks back at the teacher before going back to Gojo. "You've already gone gray... Are you really a first-year?" She asks, her eyes on his hair.
This causes a small chuckle from the other student, who covers his mouth and looks embarrassed.
Gojo's mouth drops a bit as he touches his hair. "You've never seen someone from the Gojo clan before?" He takes off his glasses, wiping them on his uniform. "There's not a lot of us, but come on. Do you two live under a rock or something? You've gotta at least have heard of me, right?"
"Uh... What?" the girl asks, confused. "Do you know anything about a Gojo?" She looks at the other boy.
He shrugs and shakes his head. "No. Should I? Also, Why are you wearing sunglasses indoors? Do you have a condition?"
"Good, I was worried I was out of the loop or something. Maybe he's chunibyo?" She looks at Gojo a bit uneasily.
"Yeah. Probably." He looks at Gojo with a bored expression.
"Huh... What the.." He takes a better look at the pair in front of him. (No mouth symbols on either of them. And I'd know if I was working with another member of the three families. On top of that, they don't know of the Gojo clan.' He puts his glasses back on. "You two... You're not from any sorcerer families, are you?"
"You mean there's families of sorcerers? I thought we were rare?" The girl asks, lighting a cigarette before placing it in her mouth and taking a drag. "I bet the families are full of themselves for that, huh?"
Gojo smiles at her reaction and nods. "Yeaaaah, more or less."
"No. I was the only one in my family that could see and eat the curse." The boy says calmly.
The other two teens look at him disbelievingly. The boy's eyes widened as he sensed the change. "What?"
"... Did you say you ate the curse?" The girl asks.
"I'm with her. What the hell? You did what?" Gojo looks him up and down. "How are you alive?"
"Is that not normal? I beat the curse. It was fragile. And it turned into a black ball.." The boy explains, a bit embarrassed.
"And your first instinct was to eat the black ball?" The girl asks.
"Well... Yeah." The boy admits.
"Dude, that's... So weird. What if I don't know, it became normal again while you ate it?"
The boy sweat drops. "I hadn't considered that. However, it hasn't happened so far. And I've had to have done it a few dozen times."
"A few dozen times?!" The girl says.
"What do you even gain to keep doing that?! Oh! Wait. What do they even taste like?" Gojo asks.
"Uh.. Imagine the worst thing you can think of. For me. I think it's like a rag soaked in vomit." He answers. "As for what I gain. I can summon the curses afterward and make them do my bidding."
"Really?! That sounds like a great technique! If not a bit gross. Hey! What can you do?" Gojo asks the girl.
"Hold it. We got a bit sidetracked. Shouldn't we learn each other's names before all this?" She says, blowing some smoke out away from them.
"Oh yeah. The old man will be upset if we don't at least know that. My name's Satoru Gojo." He smiles while fixing his glasses.
"Shoko Ieiri. " She says calmly, taking another drag.
"Suguru Geto. It's nice to meet you two."
"Great! Now we've done the boring part! Let's see some of those cursed spirits you ate!" Gojo asks, completely forgetting about Shoko's technique.
"Is it okay to summon them on campus?" Geto asks.
"I mean… In the worst case, we say we didn't know. Right?.." She looks over at Gojo.
"That's right! So, come on. Bring out the curses!" He says excitedly.
Geto sighs as he summons the cursed spirits. Several of them of varying sizes surround the trio of students. "Don't worry. They won't attack unless I say so. Of course, I can let them roam free if I please, " he assures them.
Gojo stands atop one of the bigger ones, fascinated. "Hey, lift this one's hands up, will ya?" He asks, playing with the horns.
Geto nods. And shortly afterward, the curse lifts its hands up. "See?"
"Yeah. Totally. Hey, do you mind losing one?" Gojo asks, jumping off the curse.
"I guess not. But why?" He asks.
"I wanna show off my technique now. So which one are you okay with losing?" He looks around at all the curses.
"How about this one?" Shoko asks, holding up a small curse.
"Fine with me." Geto agrees, motioning his arm. As he does so, the curse jumps out of Shokos' grasp.
"Oh?" She tilts her head curiously, watching it run to the middle of the courtyard.
"Alright, make room! You guys watch this." He says, making a spectacle. "Lapse technique… BL-"
"SATORU!" An enraged voice yells from behind him.
"Aw.." Gojo drops his hand, the technique fading away.
"THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" He cracks his knuckles, looking between them.
Shoko is holding the cigarette behind her back. She presses the cigarette into her palm to put it out as she bites her lip from the pain.
Geto noticed this, raising an eyebrow in concern. 'Wouldn't it have been better to be caught than to do that?'
She flicks the cigarette away when Yaga isn't looking at her. She holds her hands up innocently, both of her hands completely fine. Geto notices this. 'Is it her technique?'
"We're just getting to each other like you said.." She answers calmly before dropping her hands.
"Is that so?" Yaga asks, not believing them for a second as he walks closer to Gojo.
"Uhhh.." Gojo steps back, pointing at Geto. "It's his technique."
The curses immediately fade away after Gojo says this. Geto is looking at him, annoyed. "You…"
"We were just curious about Jujutsu... It's all new to me and bangs here. Sorry.." She points at Geto.
'Bangs?' Geto touches his hair, sweat dropping. 'Is that really all she sees? I already said my name..'
Yaga sighs. "Well… I guess I can't be mad at that. I'm sure it's a lot to take in. However... That changes with you." He says as he stands in front of Gojo.
Gojo shrugs. "Uhhh.. I was curious, too?"
Yaga punches Gojo in the gut, sending him back a few feet.
Gojo holds his gut, grimacing in pain. "Ow.." He looks up at his teacher, who has already turned his back on him. 'Am I going to have to keep Infinity up whenever he's around? What kinda teacher hits his students so often?'
"Anyways, now that the rest of you are here. We can do the official tour of the school. Along with the circularium." He motions for the students to follow him. Shoko and Geto nod to each other and follow.
Gojo recovers, watching them. 'Wait.. The same tour... A THIRD TIME?!' He groans loudly. 'I'm going to die of boredom before this day is over.' He kicks a rock before following them reluctantly.
