Chapter 7: The Sleigh:
Story:
Sneak. Sneak. Sneak. The Grinch and his animal companions snuck to Mr. Bricklebaum's house. They were trying to be as quiet as a mouse. "This is the loudest snow I have ever heard," says Grinch, "Max, Fred, stay here while I get to the roof!" The Grinch attempted to get to the roof so he can steal the sleigh and then he would make Christmas go away. But as soon as he got to the house, Bricklebaum's dog came after him. The Grinch had to run, or his fate would be grim. Everywhere he went, the dog would continue to bark. He could not let his life go dark. He rang the doorbell and Bricklebaum answered. "Who taught Maybell to ring the doorbell?" Grinch then ran up faster than Prancer. Grinch attempts to take the sleigh so he can prepare it for Christmas Day. As he attempts to remove it, it ended up slipping... wait, that doesn't rhyme.
...
"I don't know what's in this cake," says Bricklebaum, "but I thought I just saw Santa! I'm gonna get some more!"
...
"We did it," says Grinch, "we were being mean, and we did it with style!" The Grinch was about to get some shut eye, but then he saw Max's puppy dog eyes. "No, you know the rules! You have your bed, and I have mine!" Then he saw Fred, who also wanted to sleep in Grinch's bed. "Did you teach him puppy dog eyes?" Grinch didn't want to, but he decided to cave in, so he gave in. He allowed Max and Fred to join him in his bed.
