Chapter 8: Dog-Copter:
Story:
The Grinch prepared for his plan, but to do it, he must observe every lady and man. "Max, I must figure out how many houses are in Newville, so you are going to fly around and spy on the town for me!"
...
Max then flew around the town of Newville and because it was cold, Max was getting a cold. "And the sleigh was stolen right off my roof," says Bricklebaum.
"I wonder how that happened," Grinch says, sarcastically.
Max then saw sausages and lost his focus and wanted to eat them during the Grinch's plan to steal Christmas. "Max," says Grinch. The sausages messed with the propeller and Max was flying around, nearly hitting the fellers. He then hit the Grinch, who couldn't get out of the way, not even an inch.
...
"Now, I know how many houses there are," says Grinch, "let's get to work!"
