Kim Possible Bonnie's Secret Crush

Chapter 8 Graduation And More

It's graduation day, and Bonnie was sitting on the couch in the living room. She was reading a Cuddler Clive book. She loved action adventure novels. She was reading when she started thinking about all the things she can't do anymore. Like running, gymnastics, and dancing. She thought "what if I get married and I can't dance on my wedding day?" Which then lead to another thought. "Who am I kidding, I'll never get married like this. Disabled, one legged, pathetic person."

Kim was coming down stairs after taking a shower. She wanted to make sure Bonnie was ok on the sofa. As she reached the end of the stairs, she saw Bonnie, book in hand, looking off into the distance. She could only think that the brunette was thinking about something that was depressing her again.

The hero walked up to Bonnie, slowly, as to not startle her. She reached out and put a hand on her shoulder. "Sweety, what's wrong?" She asked her girlfriend, softly, concern in her voice. She knew that there were going to be days, that Bonnie would be dealing with depression since losing her leg. She could only be there for her, cause she didn't know how to make her feel better about it.

"It's nothing" the brunette told her red head girlfriend. Still she looked extremely sad. "It's just that, I used to be able to dance and do gymnastics. But know, I don't know what to do." She said, trying not to tear up.

Kim only looked sad in return. "I know this has to be hard for you. I can't say I know what your going through, but I will always be here for you." Kim held Bonnie's hand, bringing it up to her mouth and kissed the back of her hand.

"Kim, how can you stay with me? I'm broken, I'm missing a leg, and I have to depend on others to help me. It's not fair to you that I can't take care of myself now. I can't stand and dance with you anymore. I can't run. I can't do anything." And she starts crying.

At this Kim throws her arms around Bonnie and lets her cry into her shoulder. "Bonnie, I'm so sorry this happened to you. It should have been me. I'm the one he always wanted to destroy. I should have surrendered when he first took you. That way, you could have kept your leg."

The brown eyed girl pulled up to look at Kim, "What? No. He would have killed you. And I wouldn't have you anymore. I love you. I'm glad you didn't give in to him. Cause your still here with me. Even though you don't have too."

"I love you too Bonnie. And I'm not leaving you. We will find away to get you a prosthetic leg. I'll help you learn to walk again so you can have some freedom from the chair." She said in reassurance.

There was a knock on the door, and Mrs. Possible called through. "I've got it." As she made her way to the door, she looked over to see her daughter holding Bonnie. Know the brunette must have had another episode of depression.

Anne opened the door to see Shego standing there, with two bouquets of flowers for the young lovers, and soon to be graduates. "Hi Anne, how are you?" She said smiling. Waiting to be let in.

"Shego. It's so nice to see you again. Come in come in. The girls are over on the sofa." She said moving away from the door so the pale woman could enter.

"What brings you buy today? Anne asked the green and black clothed woman.

"Well, I though because it's graduation day, I though I would come by and watch the event with you guys. If that's ok with everyone." She asked with trepidation in her voice.

"Well I don't know about the girls, but I don't mind. They are on the sofa. Bonnie is having another episode of depression. Which I can't blame her. She's been through quite the ordeal." She told Shego. Whose smile suddenly turn into a from.

"She has Kimmie with her. That should cheer her up. And maybe these flowers too. You know, for their graduation." She said as she held up two bouquets of roses to match the mad dog colors.

"Awe, I think they will love those. Why don't you go over there and hand them to them. I bet that will help Bonnie feel better I'm sure." Said Anne. Pointing to the sofa were the girls are holding each other close.

"Good. Thanks Anne." the raven haired woman started walking to the sofa where the girls were sitting.

As soon as Shego got to the sofa, she reached over and handed the two love birds their flowers. Seeing the flowers suddenly in front of their eyes, they both looked to see who had delivered them, only to see Shego standing over them with a smile on her face. "Hey princess and Duchess. These are for the two of you for your graduation. Hope yoh lime them." She said hand each one bouquet of roses.

Bonnie was the first to say something. "Shego, there absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much."

Then Kim joined in. "Yes Shego, I love them. Thank you. You helped put a smile on our faces today. I'm glad you came for graduation."

Shego bent down to Bonnie. "How are you doing? How you holding up? I know it's hard but you have the best support team anyone could ask for."

Bonnie smiled to Shego as she hugged her. "I feel better now thanks. But I just feel like a burden to everyone here." She said hanging her head low.

"Ok you stop that right now. I know there is not one person in this house who sees you that way. Does anyone here think of Bonnie as a burden to them!?" The ex villain yelled out, causing everyone to stop what their doing and run into the living room.

Of course Kim spoke first. "Not one big. I love Bonnie and will do anything in my power to help her anyway I can." Said the hero.

Anne was next. "Bonnie is not a burden here. We love her just as much as Kimmie Cub. That's why we remodeled the house so quickly for her to come live we us." The red head dr. said.

Then it was James turn. "Ah there is nothing we wouldn't do to help our Kimmies girlfriend. What happened to her was very traumatic. Only place I can think of for her best recovery."

Then it was the tweebs turn. Jim first. "No way. She's a lot of fun."

Then Tim. "Yeah she gives us wheel chair rides. And she has a pretty smile."

"There ya go. No one thinks your a burden." Shego had made a hard point to Bonnie. No-one thought of her as a burden too their lives.

With that everyone came to Bonnie in a family hug. Which tugged at her heart strings. "Okay okay, I get the point. I'm not a burden. I get it now. She said hugging as many as she could while being surrounded.

While Kim had helped Bonnie get into the shower, Kim was waiting in her room with Shego. Kim had a surprise for Bonnie at the ceremony at the school. She had giving the raven haired woman a mission to go get her something specific that she wanted to give to her girlfriend.

"So, did you get it?" She asked the ex villain.

"I sure did. Here." Shego handed the red head a little box. "I have to ask again, are you sure this is what you want to do? I mean, it's only been a couple months since you guys started dating." She pointed out to the hero girl.

"I have never been more sure of anything. I love her so much and she needs me. I can't let her think its only about feeling pity for her. She was a strong independent person. We will figure out how she can be that way again. But until then, I'm going to be here for her. And I want her to know how much she means to me." Kim said to the pale woman. Knowing that this must be tearing Shego up inside, since she may never be able to explore her feelings for the red head.

Suddenly there is a voice from the shower, "Kimmie, I'm ready now." Bonnie was signaling she has finished doing what can to bathe herself. Kim helped her with what she couldn't do from a sitting position.

Once out of the shower, Kim helped her dry off and helped her dress for the ceremony this afternoon. Once done, Bonnie, rolled herself over to Kim's vanity to brush her hair and do her make up. Today, after the group meeting in the living room, she was really feeling good about her current situation. She new for sure now that she wasn't a burden to anyone in the house. Everyone was being so nice to her. But she wanted to do more but couldn't with out being able to stand up.

It wasn't long after that that everyone piled into the family van to go to the school. Kim and Bonnie took Kim's car. Not wanting to be squished in the van by everyone sitting so close together. Kim got out of her car and opened the trunk to retrieve Bonnie's wheelchair. Helping Bonnie into the chair, Kim had a smile on her face.

Bonnie notice the smile and asked, "What are you smiling for? Does helping into my chair make you happy?" She asked with a smile of her own.

"Well to be honest, every time I get to hold you in my arms, it just brings a smile to my face. It's because I love holding you close to me." She finished. Starting to push Bonnie towards the gym.

"Oh really." She said in a mocking tone. "So everyday you can't wait to put your hands on me huh?" She pointed out to Kim, which brought a smile to Kim's face.

As they were getting ready to head for the field, Ron came up to say hi to the two girls with Monique in tow. "Hey Kp, BonBon. Are you guys ready for today to be over? To finally be rid of this place?" He asked.

Monique looked at Bonnie, and then to Kim. "I heard a rumor that you two are an item now. You sure you can trust queen b here?"

Bonnie sneered to Monique. "Not that it's any of your business, but yes we are an item. Because we love each other. Not to please you, or satisfy the rumor mill." She spat out like venom. Irritated that she could come over here with her disrespect.

"Monique, that's a terrible thing to say to someone whose been through so much. I'm almost disgusted by it." She said with anger in her voice at her friend.

"Now calm down everyone, this is supposed to be a great day." Said Ron. Stepping in between to three arguing women.

"Sorry, I forgot about all that had happened. But in my defence, I was left out of the loop here." No said, trying to defuse what she started.

"Oh look, their getting us in lined up boy girl boy girl. Shall we Mo?" Ron said sticking his arm out for her to grab it.

"So, who are you too walking with?" Mo asked.

"Bonnie and I are walking together. That way I can push her up to get her diploma." Kim said, keeping her plan for that time a secret for now.

Kim was planning to purpose to Bonnie's she received her diploma. Her family didn't even know. Cause she figured they would just try to talk her out of it, being so young and all. But Kim was sure they could make it work. She loved her Bonnie enough though, that she thought they would be able to stand the the test of time.

After that, they started making their way to the track and football field to take their seats on the field. No sat next to Ron, while Kim and Bonnie sat together. When it was Kim's turn, she went up and got her diploma. After she waited for Bonnie's turn. When her name was called, Kim pushed her up to the podium to get her diploma when Kim decided it was now or never. As soon as the pictures were taken, Kim dropped down on one knee and pulled out the little box.

The crowd was stunned at what was happening now. Bonnie's eyes when wide with shock as Kim was handed a microphone. "Bonnie, I know that life hadn't been great to you lately, but I want to make it better. And before anyone one says anything to the contrary, I love you. And I want to be married to you. Not out of pity, but because of the love I have for you. Will you Marry me?"

With that, the crowd was instantly silent. Waiting for for Bonnie's answer. "Kim, you've forgave me for all the torment I cause you out of jealousy. You saved me from a mad man who tried to kill me. You took me in after my moms murder. For that, I love you. Yes I'll marry you."

As soon as Bonnie finished, the crowd went wild with cheers. Even Kim's family wad cheering. They understood what was happening. But they were not upset about it. Oh, of course they knew that they were to young, but if anyone could pull it off, it was their Kimmie Cub.

Just when Bonnie didn't think she couldn't be any happier, there was another voice over the the P.A. that sounded familiar to Kim. It was Betty Director.

"First of all, I'm Betty Director from GJ. And I would like to congratulate miss Kim Possible, and miss Bonnie Rockwaller on their graduation and engagement. Now for why I'm here." She said as she cleared her throat. "Because of what happened to miss Rockwaller during her ordeal, I have decided that, if you would like miss Rockwaller, to offer you a chance to come to GJ, and let our r and d department to help you design and build yourself, a brand new leg."

Bonnie's eyes lit up in surprise as she shook her head yes. Kim giving her a big hug from behind at the news that Bonnie was going to receive a prosthetic leg from GJ. Bonnie couldn't believe the day she was having. First the Possible's had shown her she wasn't a burden to them or their house hold. Then she graduated from high school, and got engaged at the same time to the woman she loves. Now she was getting a new leg. What else could happen.

Betty Director then continued to speak. "Now to miss Possible, we would like to extend our hand to you to join us at GJ as a full time employee. This will help you to help us take care of the super villains that would do any crime of this nature from happening to anyone else. Are you with us miss Possible?"

With that as a job offer, who could refuse. Of course she will join GJ. If only to help support her future wife. This is the best day ever. And with a nod of her head, the crowd cheered and called out Kim's name in happiness for the two young women, who now had part of their future off to a great start.

Back at home Shego was sitting on the sofa with Kim and Bonnie. Bonnie was laying her head against Kim's, as she held out her hand and admired her new engagement ring. Smiling from ear to ear, so happy that another one of her fears, was proven to be totally false. At first she didn't think anyone would marry her with a missing leg, but Kim proved her wrong on that.

Next was the excitement of getting a new leg, and learning to walk again. She knew she had an up hill fight to win, but with her fiancee by her side, she knew that anything was possible. She pulled her head ofc of Kim's and looked into het beautiful olive green eyes, tears of joy welling up in her brown eyes. "I love you so much Kimmie. I can't c wait till we can walk down the isle. And I do mean walk. I don't want to sit in that chair on our wedding day."

"You won't BonBon. I'll be there waiting for you to join me." Kim said with reassurance that she could have a new leg and learn to walk again by the time they tied the not.

Shego could only smile at how happy they are together. Yes she wanted Kim for herself, but she was just as content to let Bonnie have her, especially after what Bonnie had been through this year. She just hope they could all be friends when it was all over. That would make her content. But then she had an idea. One that the two women beside her would be over the moon about. But she could wait to tell them as soon as the time was right. But for today, they had enough surprises.

Anne came out of the kitchen to tell everyone that dinner was ready. The all moved to the dinning table to enjoy this special meal with everyone who was there for the graduation. Kim rolled Bonnie to a spot next to her. Shego was on Kim's other side. When everyone wad seated and ready to eat. Dr. James Possible took a knife and clinched it on the glass her was holding.

"A toast, too two very special people her today. First to our daughter, may your future bring happiness and joy. May you never want for anything, and get what you deserve. And to Bonnie, our future daughter in law, we welcome you with open arms, and all the love you can stand. You have had the worst year of your life, may the future bring you closure and joy, as you and our Kimmie Cub transition into your new lives together. We love you as much as if you were one of our own. And now, with that out of the way, lets enjoy this wonderful meal that my wonderful wife has prepared for us on this great occasion.

After that they all began to load their plates and began to eat together. Love filling the whole house today, as the future of the Possible family, was looking brighter today than it had just a few weeks ago.
