Chapter 4: Angels in the forest

From the last chapter Frizzaroli left Bella behind as he used his mana wings to fly into the field as he passed by rows and rows of dead trees as he was confused and curious on why they were all dead. He heard rustling coming from in front of him as he saw a swarm of crows coming his way but before he could fly to hide the crows flew pass him scared of something as he quickly flew for the nearby forest to catch his breath as he placed his hand onto a tree trunk…but felt something wet as he drew his hand back and gasped seeing it was a bright red as he saw a large "X" on the tree that was the same shade as to Frizzaroli surprise he saw that every tree was painted with the same red X's confusing him.

A good ways away from Frizzaroli there was a vast clearing of trees and in the middle was a massive machine that was a cross between a bulldozer and a saw as one half of the control booth was littered with food while the other half was clean and was occupied by two angels. One female dressed in a black and grey jumpsuit and a horned grey helmet with a grey LD screen mouth and face who was operating by checking the monitors. Her name was Lute. The other was a male tubby angel with a white robe and gold wings folded back with a similar horned helmet with a yellow LD screen face snoring with a magazine on his face. His name was Adam. "Adam wake up we need to check the others clearing away the dead trees" said Lute slapping Adam as he woke up dropping his magazine "I'm awake I'm up" he said as he pressed a button turning on a monitor as he saw a fellow angel name starlight marking down dead trees "Hay Star how the markings going?" Asked Adam "Done here sir" she said as he pressed another "How about you Kennle?" Asked Adam as a Cherub looking humanoid appeared "Done here master Adam" he said "Alright how about you Tia?" Asked Adam pressing another button but the monitor showed nothing "Tia? TIa? OCTAVIA!" He yelled activating the loudspeaker.

Adams voice then reached a section of the forest Frizzaroli was at as it caught the attention of a owl demon in a pink and yellow star Bennie dressed in a gothic like outfit as she had iPod earbuds in her ears as she growled as she turned her iPod off "What's the big deal?!" She barked "Are you through marking those trees yet?" Demanded Adam "I am getting right to it honestly" she muttered marking a tree "If I didnt need the money and my dad wasnt so insistent to study what was wrong with the forest to join to see what was going on with this plague" she muttered

Back with Adam and Lute Adam turned off the monitor as he exasparated sigh "Yeesh what is up with the Ars goitia birds, always so mouthy and stubborn" said Adam "Maybe but Pidemons son paid a lot to come here to study what was going on with the trees and why they are dying plus it is her first day on the job so be nice" said Lute as a dam winned growled.

Back in the forest Frizzaroli hid behind some leaves watching Octavia spray the trees as she listened to her iPod as he watched curiously and was in awe 'I cant believe it a real Ars goitia' he remembers the bark images on Husk trees at there apperance of being humanoid birds. After sprayin voice yelled out her name

Male voice: Tia, Tia are you nearby?

Deeper voice: I see her she isnt far

Yelled the voices as two figures ran up to Octavia, one was a owl like her with grey-dark and white feathers and four red eyes dressed as a explorer with his notebook as he was taking notes. His name was Stolas, her father, the other was a bit of a rooster Ars goitia with a fluffy mane with a ram and bull skull in his mane as he was dressed in a more dark blue and red explorers outfit. His name was Asmodus, her uncle as he was taking photos of the dead trees "nice to see you two the research is picking up" said Octavia as she looked around for a new dead tree to spray. That was why they were here to remove the dead trees, no one knew why there was a increase in dead trees and that was why her dad came along with her uncle before it could spread farther to the protected land of Eden forest.

"It is and I think we are getting close to where the epicenter where the virus is, I just need to get a sample of the soil and the bark and then have it cut so I can disect it so we can find a way to prevent it from spreading" said Stolas as Asmodus looked around "Though were the core is is unknown, but I have been getting a weird feeling" said Asmodus as Octavia eyes caught on something "Dad, Uncle Ozzie I see something" she said as the two adults followed her gaze and saw something that made Ozzie feel…sick as he cluched his chest. It was a tall black tree with red bloody marks as well as green voodoo like marks that was tall and fat looking as if being a cage for something as Octavia walked forward accidently knocking some bark into Frizzaroli as Stolas and Ozzie followed.

Everything around the tree was dead and withered as if the life was sucked out of it, there weren't even any Ants or bugs around the tree nor small animals as if nothing will dare approach it… "Dad could this be what you were looking for?" Asked Octavia as Stolas studied the tree "It has to be, if it is the epecenter of the virus over the years it must had slowly spread through the root system and to the other trees slowly killing them" said Stolas as Ozzie just felt sick as if staring at the tree just made him sick "I have a bad feeling about that tree" said Ozzie as he felt something wrong with the tree as Octavia got close to it studying the tree "What type of tree is this?" She wondered as she though she saw a figure slithering in the tree bark, but before she could investigate further a bug buzzed pass her head as she yelped as she sprayed her paint on the bug making a messy X on the tree as she managed to get the bug away as she walked away to talk to her dad and uncle.

However the X began to sizzle and bubble on the tree as a voice hissed almost like static "Alastor…is…back…" it said with a cackle.

"Sorry about that I know you wanted to study that" said Octavia as Ozzie got up "I am sure its fine if your father calls Adam and tells him to not chop this tree until he is done studying it" said Ozzie as Stolas got his Vox phone "I will and then we will cut it down after I finish studying the bark and soil" he said as Octavia zoned out seeing something dart through the bushes as it was Frizzaroli as he saw Octavia approaching he took off just as she parted the leaves as she hummed as she took off after him as her father and uncle yelled at her to stop as they followed her as she tripped as her iPod fell into a stream "Shoot" she said as she got up as the little clown imp slowed down to catch his breath as she heard a loud buzz noise as something sawed a tree as he gasped scared to move which allowed Octavia to catch him as Ozzie and Stolas approached "Tia what on earth caused you to run off?" Asked Stolas as she held out a hand "I dont know but I can feel there heart beat they must be scared" she said as she slowly pried open her hands to see what she had captured as she showed Frizzaroli as he shook as Stolas and Ozzie were in awe as Asmodus called him cute as Frizzaroli blushed but none of the birds saw a tree about to fall on the family but he did.

"LOOK OUT!" He yelled as he quickly said the spell "Magic powers prove your light I give you the gift of fairy size-NO! I MEAN SIGHT!" He yelled as he zapped the three with magic right before the tree fell on the small family as they disappeared. The leveler then picked up the fallen tree and placed it on the conveyer belt as it head to a multitude of saws as Frizzaroli used his mana wings to fly around to look for them and founded them unconcus as in a web, the spell shrunk them as he flew over and tried to pull them out but he got stuck as he saw they were about to head for the saws as he closed his eyes figuring out it will get bad…

But Frizzaroli, Octavia, Stolas and Ozzie were yanked out of the web right before their doom as Frizzaroli felt his face touch a lot of fur as he saw he was on Bellas back as she had saved them "That was super close! *Flew for the forest* see?! This is why I told you to stay with me! You almost got yourself killed!" She said only to notice that she had three other passengers "who do we have here…wait A GOITIA!" She yelled panicking "Bella look out!" Yelled Frizzaroli pointing at a tree as the fox crashed into a tree as she accidently tossed Frizz and the three goitia off her back as Frizzaroli managed to land on his two feet as the two gotia males and young female crashed into a tree branch.

Seeing that they were unconcus, Frizzaroli slowly stretched his legs over as he gently studied the three seeing Octavia first as she saw she was dressed oddly as he checked her pockets finding a wallet with her license as she put it back and a pocket flashlight, then with Stolas he founded his notebook curious about what they mean as he flipped through it fast as he put it to the side and studied ozzie, but he had to blush looking at the cute bird as he then studied his items such as a camera and a blade used to cut small vines as he flipped it as Octavia opened her eyes and saw Frizzaroli with the blade as she screamed "DAD UNCLE OZZIE WAKE UP WE ARE BEING ATTACKED!" She yelled as Stolas and Ozzie did as Stolas panicked "Ahhh please take what you want just dont hurt my daughter" said Stolas as Ozzie saw it was his knife as Frizzaroli accidently pointed the knife to close "Are you alright?" Asked Frizzaroli "We are fine, just confused *Takes the knife* what is going on? And who are you?" Asked Ozzie as Frizzaroli was worried "The monster it tried to eat you!" He said as the three were confused.

"Monster?" They repeated in unison "My freind and I saved you *Looks around* Bella? Bella where are you?" Asked Frizzaroli stretched his limbs up onto the next branch as Asmodus was surprised and in awe as Frizzi saw Bella dazed on a tree branch "Are you ok?" She asked as Bella said "Interference…nightmare I thought I saw…*Looks down and sees Octavia, Stolas and Asmodus* A GOITIA!" She yelled as she slipped into her human form as she dragged Frizzaroli with her tail as Stolas pushed Octavia behind him "Dont you dare take my daughter!" He bakred as Asmodus pointed the knife pulling Frizzaroli behind him"And dont you dare touch my cousin and niece and the cute imp" he barked as Octavia gave a look as he blushed.

"My heros but Uncle Ozzie be careful" she said "I will be fine I got her scared" he said as Bella pulled out a Kunai "Watch it I have a knife I am not afraid to use it" she said as Frizzaroli broke away from Ozzie "Will you all calmdown!" Yelled Frizzaroli

"She/He is trying to kill you!" Said Stolas and Bella at the same time as they glared "I DID NOT! YOU DID!" They continue as Frizzaroli pulled Bella away from Stolas as Octavia pulled her dad away from Bella "C'mon the only thing that was trying to kill us was that horrible monster" said Frizzaroli "What monster are you talking about?" Asked Octavia confused "The one that ate the tree, it was terrible" said Frizzaroli "Tree? Wait the lever…oh no are we dead? Please tell me we are not dead?" Asked Octavia as Stolas and Ozzie were worried "No, none of you are dead you are alive" said Frizzaroli as Bella growled "I can fix that for you" she said "No no no need mame, but quite curious are you a imp fairy?" Asked Stolas "Like in the stories the previous Asmodus told me?" Asked Ozzie "And me when mom was still alive?" Asked Octavia as Frizzaroli nodded "Of course I am! Are you three really Goitias?" Asked Frizzaroli "Last time I checked we were, but its really nice to meet you but we really gotta-" started Octavia as she accidently stepped off the branch and fell onto a leaf as it broke off as she wounded up leaf surfing as Stolas panicked and jumped onto a leaf as he yelled flying down on a leaf as Frizzaroli and Ozzie panicked "Oh no! Where did they go? We gotta find him!" Said Frizzaroli "Please Stolas is smart but he lacks nature smarts as well" said Ozzie "I supposed we should Frizzaroli, do you remember the large Guzzlord you told me about?" Asked Bella "Yes why? (Asmodus: who?) He is a big pokemon who is always hungry" said Frizzaroli.

"Dont know why but I have a bad feeling that those owls are gonna be screwed, we split up and go look for them, Chicken boy (Asmodus: my name is Asmudus)) Ok Asmodus you go with Frizzaroli, I will go on one direction" she said as they quickly split up to save the father and daughter duo from the Guzzlord Lacrox.

Authors note: well Frizzaroli met his first goitias but he had to save them from a nasty fate…though he shrank them down.

Next chapter Stolas and Octavia accidently run into Lacrox who wants to eat them but the two quickly must get out of the way of the hungry predator.
