Species:

Human

Sex:

Male

Age:

77

Height:

1.75(ish) meters (around 5' 9")

Hair:

Short well combed white (it was black when he was young) hair.

Combed, short beard, no moustache.

Dark Blue.

Skin:

Peach color.

Particularities:

Grizzly veteran from the Spanish Legion.

Has a lot of battle scars, though none other like the shrapnel wound to his chest and a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

Old, but still muscular like an anime grandpa. Is not adverse to roughhousing play and believes you aren't ever old enough to NOT get spanked.

Offers respect until disrespected. Once disrespected you are dis-qualified for life, if you piss him off that is.

Gaming grandpa, specially when it comes to the Diablo franchise, Resident Evil and generally either Horror or Adventure genre.

Interests:

Horror and Adventure games.

Habid reader that has a huge collection of books (A small library in fact) of almost all genres.

Handyman at heart, he likes to learn the 'how to' of many things, though he is not the best at it.

Politics. He may get very pissy and very fired up, though. Engage at your own risk.

Helping others and guiding youngsters… though he may appear like a drill sergeant while doing so.

Magic Affinity (If Applicable):

N/A?

Attire:

Nothing fancy. He grew up mostly poor and is used to whatever is simple and utilitarian.

Has no problem with formal clothing when necessary, but will not use it on the regular.

Looks very dapper in uniform.

But has great aversion to military ones after his time in the military.

Physical:

A strong man with a chiseled chin, muscular build, powerful, almost mean expression at first glance and a grizzly visage of various old (and generally non threatening) wounds that coat his body. While unimpressive of height he more than makes it up with physical form and toughness that can easily be seen at a simple glance. Has calloused hands and general marks of hard work, not just wounds, all over his body to show a life of duty and sacrifice.

Personality:

Gruff, strict, respectful and very harsh when needed as well as oathbound to do the right thing, he is nonetheless a loving grandfather to most people, but incredibly dangerous, even hateful, to those that even slightly threaten his family. He is also incredibly pigheaded in his ways and doesn't fear death should it come to him.

Incredibly approachable and friendly if talked to right, Manuel is the kind of person you could trust your life to in almost any situation so long as you are straightforward with him in all things. Manuel is the kind of man that would take you under his wing with few worries on his side, but that also means he is also one of the few old men that would have absolutely zero regret beating the shit out of you if you disrespected, or worse, attacked him or his family in any way. He loves sharing his experience and wisdom, but tolerates no bullshit.

Despite all this he is incredibly gentle most of the time and has a very doting, perhaps even permissive, relationship with his children, though he tempers it (slightly) with his grandchildren. That is not to say that he allows any of them to do as they please, but his strict handling of things takes a small step back. Fan of video games as he is, he finds ways to connect with the young generation, even if only a little bit. His lack of fear of the grim reaper also gave him a very dark sense of entertainment that only comes out when enjoying grizzly games and movies…

Has developed an extremely pigheaded persona over the years. Engaging in politics after the dictatorship of his country, only to retire and engage in other work after he was constantly blindsided or outright betrayed, Manuel ended up settling down in his ideals like a rock. As such he has studied politics and loves discussing the topic, but is greatly biased to the point of becoming enraged sometimes if proven that what he believes in is wrong in any capacity. Sticking to his guns in this and many other areas has become a problem, but it is a trait that won't go away.

What song or music would fit:

Warriors of the World Unite. Between battle experience, life under tyranny and harsh past events, a message of unity against adversity and the harsh melody itself fits his determination perfectly.

Visual Aid (if any):

None Yet!
