AU! Having rejected Ganondorf's offer of an alliance, Zelda is the target of an attack led by Link, a Hylian swordsman loyal to Ganondorf. Link has been instructed to capture the princess and escort her to the Gerudo Desert where Ganondorf intends to marry her. However as the journey progresses, Link finds himself developing feelings for the princess and vows to protect her.

Woe! The wrath of the goddesses have been moved against Hyrule! After generations of evil rulers and moral depravity, the goddesses have chosen to let Hyrule be purged. But with the promise of doom comes the promise of hope. Two guiding lights have been given to the people, but will they be able to save Hyrule?

Link comes across an unconscious Kafei just minutes before Termina's destruction. This anachronism disrupts the flow of time and its preceding events. Kafei had no purpose to be at Clock Tower the third night, or so Link thought. He is left to pick up the pieces. The Hero comes to find out he truly understands "grown-up" matters after all.
