Drinks had never been so abundant at the Last Drop. Thieram and Chuck were both working hard to fill the demands of Silco's followers, brave Firelights, and Zaunite revilers. Though the space was already crowded, a small but devoted local band was playing. The song they were on was called "Warriors."
Here we are, don't turn away now
Jinx strolled to the bar with V, though her mug was already full. "My cup and drink, Thieram. My straw, Chuck."

"You finally got our names right," the two bartenders said in unison
Jinx smiled. "Hmm? Oh, I just thought it would be funny if I started calling you two by the opposite name from now on."
Vi looked at her confused; Jinx just shrugged. "So, Cait will still have one of the keys to let her cross through the AT Field if it needs to stay up, but she won't have much of an opportunity to visit," Vi noted.
Her sister's eyebrows lowered. "Well, between the hoverboards and your shimmer ability, I think you should be able to make a long distance relationship work. You could send her love pneumas too."
Vi glared at her. "I thought you and Ekko said you'd tease us less now that we're official."
Jinx blinked. "I'm not. You know her better than I do, but I imagine Caitlyn would be over the moon for something like that."
"I'm not a poet, Jinx. It would come across as cliche, as drivel… or just randy." Vi shook her head.
Averting her eyes briefly, Jinx then met Vi's gaze. "She'll have reasonable expectations. And after being busy or having a bad day, a short flirty message from you would probably perk her up."
Vi's lips twitched, but she nodded. "I'll give it a try. I guess I can always hope for a lot of extradition cases for us to meet on duty."

From dust
The sisters moved back to their table but found Ekko had vanished. They soon found him speaking with Silco near the stairs.
After the clapping from the song finished, Sevika stood and bellowed. "A toast to those we've all lost."
There was a chorus of cheers. Silco and Ekko raised their glasses, crossed their arms, and drank first and the rest followed.
Ekko joined them at the table and they shared mostly chaste kisses on their cheeks. "Silco would like to discuss something with you. You can say no, I can come with you, whatever you decide."
Jinx looked away a moment and closed her eyes, but then opened them and nodded. "If it won't take long. And yes, please stay with me."
Ekko brought his forehead to hers in a short nuzzle. "I always want to be," he told her in a soft voice.
Vi grinned and clasped her hands together and looked up with her eyes as wide as possible. Turnaround is fair play.
"Surprised you could put them together like that, Fat Hands," Jinx tried to parry.
"Maybe it's only possible because of the wuv between the adowabwiest, cuddwiest, and snuggwiest couple in all of Runeterra," she lisped.
Jinx got up rolling her eyes. Ekko had already signaled and Silco approached the table.
"Jinx. Would you be willing to serve as a liaison between my organization and the Firelights?" Silco asked bluntly.
Jinx frowned. She was probably expecting more artistry from her ex-guardian. "Wouldn't Warwick be better at that? He already knows the Firelights hideout location and is the fastest person in Zaun."
"Debatable," Vi whispered. Don't attract attention to your eavesdropping.
"Warwick and Vi will be too busy deterring the many would-be militant dissenters and resistors to peace with the Firelights, peace with Piltover, and dismantling of the chembaronies. Also, he is not as close to the Firelights as you have become. He does not yet know if someone does a crime if they were a Sludgerunner or Scrap Hacker. Likewise, you could tell me if someone is doing a false flag attack with a fake Ionian mask and stolen hoverboard. You can update if there are places the Armadillo needs to be kept open for a time so I can have muscle guard it."
In spite of herself, Jinx's frown went away. "I thought you would have a strong pitch." She squeezed Ekko's hand. "Counter-offer?"
Silco tilted his head a handful of degrees. Jinx took a second to phrase it. "For about an hour, unless there is an emergency or other cause to stay longer. I prefer there be someone else with us during it too, at least for the start." She glanced at Ekko, as if checking with him for permission. He simply covered the hand she was holding with his other.
Silco waited a second. "Who would someone else need to be?"
"Just someone I already know. It's not that I'm worried about you or me breaking the oath but keeping either of us failing into bad patterns. Anyone from your delegation would work."
"Accepted," Silco confirmed.
"Okay. If nothing else, it gives me an excuse to use the hoverboard."
He actually smiled at that. "Perhaps, you could show me how it works."
You should've said no, Jinx, but at least you seem aware of the pitfalls.
The band was starting up again. Vi recognized the song as "Enemy." Before the first lyric could be said though, Scar rushed into the already crowded bar. He was agile enough to evade collisions, but he still stole attention. "ZAUNITES! Important News!"
The band stopped and all attention was on the Chirean man. "For failure to deliver shipments; for the murder of a Noxian-aligned scientist; for threatening the balance of power; for militarizing hextech; and for the unjustified imprisonment of a member of House Medarda; the Empire of Noxus declares war on Piltover and Zaun."
