Cody was texting Tyler on his phone, asking how he was, and he finally got a reply saying: "I'm doing good. Everyone is treating me better, except for one or two kids. Some things never change, I guess."

Smiling, knowing that Tyler was getting back on his feet and brushing off a few people that still hate him. Alas; one can't please everybody, and Tyler had to be content with it.

At least Tyler had a good friend like Cody to back him up in any dire situation. Tyler was really lucky to have a good friend like Cody, whom he grew up with since kindergarten.

Loona came in the room and she was wearing a fancy short red dress and said: "so, how do I look, Cody?"

"You look beautiful, Loona." The boy got off the bed. "Did you ask Blitzo?

"Pfft, if I did that, I'd never hear the end of his compliments. He would never stop bothering me if I asked him." Loona scoffed. "And Eclipse is coming over."

"Eclipse?"

"Yeah, is there a problem, kiddo?"

"No, I like Eclispe, but I thought Blitzo would watch me."

"Eh!" She imitated a game show buzzer that blared out when a contestant answered a question incorrectly. "I was thinking that over." said Loona, "and I don't think it's the best idea for him to leave you alone with him."

"Blitzo is cool, right? He cares about me." Cody smiled, sounding enthusiastic.

"Kinda cool, but... this is Blitzo we're talking about. Remember when he got so drunk earlier? I might not have a kid to be a mother to, but I do know it's not a good idea to leave a kid alone with a drunk. Anything can happen with Blitzo. You haven't known him as long as I have."

"hehe. Good point. But I can take care of myself. I even have my axes and my gun with me."

"Yeah but, I worry about you. And you're famous in Hell, Cody. Last thing I need is for you to be kidnapped by some evil demon for ransom."

"Ok. Speaking of Blitzo, how is he?"

"had better days. He has a migraine from all that whiskey he drank, so he's in his room sleeping,"

"Good. He must be really upset about Stolas."

"Yeah but like I mentioned before, you don't have to worry about it."

"Gotcha. The front door knocked and it revealed to be Eclipse herself, wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket. "S'up, Eclispe."

"Hey Loona. You ready for your date with Johnny?"

"Yep. Don't wait up." Loona turned to face Cody and said: "you'll be ok, right?"

"Yep."

"Good. But if anything happens, just call me, ok?"

"No, I don't want to ruin your date, Loona. You just go out there and have fun without anything bad happening."

"It's no big deal, really." Loona said. She got a text from Johnny himself saying that he himself was ready for tonight. "Wup! Gotta go. See you later tonight, Cody." She got her purse and ran out of the apartment to meet up with her possible new boyfriend.

Smiling at the boy, Eclipse went into the apartment building and put her bag on the counter near the door. "So how have you been, Cody?"

"Good. Got to meet Beelzebub"

"I heard." Eclipse smiled. "Though," she then frowned. "i've heard how Loona made her cry."

"Yeah, but she apologized and they're... almost friends at least." he sat on the couch. "Look, Eclipse, Loona's had a rough childhood, so don't be mad at her."

"What do you mean?"

Cody then explained to her the troubled childhood of her own adopted sister, making her feel sorry for the moody hellhound. Sure she had known Loona can be mean and surly most of the time, but now she had understood why. "So Loona is not always mean and nasty. She is a good girl. I know she is."

"I understand." said Eclipse with a sympathetic frown.

"Just don't mention it to her though, she hates talking about it."

"Don't worry, she won't hear shit from me." Eclipse did the "lips zipped" gesture with her right hand. "I've heard you've run into some crazy shit with that crazy crocodile bounty hunter."

"Slasher? Yeah, he tried to kill me when i was on a date with Misty. But Loona came and saved me from him."

"She really is a good sister to you, Cody." Eclipse smiled again

"Yeah. She is."

it was quiet as Eclipse looked around curiously. "Where's Blitzo?"

"He's in bed. He has a very bad headache. And he got so drunk earlier."

"Oooh. Is he ok?"

"Well, i try not to worry about it." Cody looked a little uncomfortable. "It's not really my business what he does. Blitzo can't really help for who he is, and... this is Hell."

Eclipse made a chuckle before saying: "Right. "Many people do weird, crazy things down here more than people on Earth do, so you shouldn't be surprised. But putting that aside, i brought you a little something." she went to her bag and pulled out a king-sized KitKat bar for him to enjoy. "Here you go."

"Thanks Eclipse!" Cody exclaimed in excitement.

"I knew you'd like it."

Cafe Batard looked very fancy, especially by Hell standards. Loona was just waiting outside, looking a little nervous. "Loona!" said a male voice. It was Johnny, wearing a nice tuxedo over his burly torso. "Glad you can make it."

"Johnny!" Loona hugged him. "I can say the same for you." she made a nervous chuckle. They both waited in line for their reservation and they were shown to their table. A nice bench in the farthest part of the interior.

"I knew you would like it, Loona." said Johnny with a bold smile.

"Your seats, monsieur et madame." said the waiter. "Bievenue le chez Cafe Batard."

While the place looked nice, the female hellhound looked a little troubled. "You ok, baby?" asked Johnny, looking concerned.

"Oh yeah, yeah. I'm just fine." Loona chuckled. "But i worry about leaving Cody. I know Eclipse can take care of him, but after all the kid's been through. Losing his parents, almost being killed by a fucking crazy preacher, to losing his badass uncle to that fucking preacher,"

"Come on, Loona. I'm sure Cody will be fine. He's a good kid."

"Yeah... i'm worrying too much."

"You know," said Johnny with a smile. "I think you guys are kinda similar."
