Chapter 1

The town of Hargeon bustled with life, though it wasn't the sort of magic I'd hoped to find. I brushed past merchants shouting about their wares, my eyes scanning the streets for the magic shop I'd heard about. One shop in this whole town? Ridiculous.

Finally, I found a quaint little place tucked between two larger buildings. Stepping inside, I wrinkled my nose at the cluttered shelves and dusty air. The shopkeeper greeted me, eager to sell me some Magic Item called ColorS. I wasn't interested in cheap tricks. My eyes fell on something far more intriguing—a silver key glinting on a velvet cloth.

"The Key of Nikora, Canis Minor," the shopkeeper announced.

I picked it up, admiring its craftsmanship. "How much?"

"20,000 Jewel," he replied with a smirk.

I smiled sweetly, trying to haggle with a little charm, but all I managed was a measly 1,000 Jewel discount. My irritation bubbled over as I stormed out of the shop, key in hand. Is my sex appeal really worth so little?

Before I could dwell on the injustice, the sound of a crowd caught my attention. People were gathering in the square, murmuring excitedly.

"Salamander?" I whispered, my curiosity piqued. Fire Magic was rare and powerful. If this Salamander was as impressive as they said, maybe he could teach me something.

I rushed toward the crowd, pushing my way through. The moment I laid eyes on him, though, I froze. He was charming, yes, but something about him felt off. The way the girls swooned, as if under a spell... it wasn't natural.

Then I saw a pink-haired boy with a blue cat appearing from a crowd looking at Salamander. He looked at him for a few seconds. His excited smile changed to disappointment.

"He is not Igneel," Annoyingly said the boy as he turned away.

"How dare you act so disrespectfully toward him." Said the crowd, while they were beating the boy.

"Don't need to do this, ladies," Charmingly said Salamander at the same time posing. "I do believe he wasn't trying to be mean."

"OOUUHH, Salalmander-sama!" The crowd cheered. "You are so noble."

Lucy was standing, feeling that she was charmed in not a normal way by Salamander. The brown-haired boy, who was eating the apple, stood near her.

"It's so nice to be with you ladies," Salamander said, as he started to move away from a crowd. "But I need to go, see you at my party on my ship."

"SEE YOU, SALAMANDER-SAMA!" - Said

"Who's that?" Boy asked after taking the bite.

"Salamander, what I heard, he's a famous fire wizard." Said Lucy without looking at the boy.

"I see, fire," Said the boy after taking another bite. "Not interesting."

The boy turned away and started to move away from the crow. On the way, the kid threw an apple away. Lucy noticed that.

"Hey, don't loiter here. Huh?" Lucy took a look at the boy.

It was a young kid, age 10, approximately, with brown hair. His clothes looked dirty with a few scratches. And he had a weird watch on his wrist. It looked massive for his hand. Also, the watch was emitting a weird feeling, similar to magic, but it was not.

"Wait, I just want to talk—" Lucy's voice faltered as the boy glanced back. His piercing gaze wasn't one of fear but something else entirely—cold, distant. Before she could move, he bolted, disappearing into the bustling crowd like a shadow.

Who is he? she thought, but her attention was pulled away by the sound of someone groaning nearby.

"Want... to... eat..." Said the boy out of his hunger.

Lucy turned back to look at the kid, but he already disappeared.

"That kid." Worryingly said Lucy.

Lucy got back to Pinky boy. She felt she had to help him as he helped her snap from Salamander's charm.

"I want to thank so let's go." Said Lucy to Pinky.

"What ta-?" Said Lucy, seeing how the boy was devouring food like crazy. Eating almost like 10 ten people.

"NOM, NOM, NOM, THAWK YOU." Said boy, while pushing the food up to his throat. "MINE NAMOM IS NOMTSU."

"Nomwho?" Said Lucy not understanding what Pinky boy was saying.

"He said his name is Natsu." Said blue cat. "My name is Happy."

"Otherwise, thanks, guys." Thanked Lucy. "Salamander looks like was using 'charm' magic. It allows its users to influence people to forcefully like them. That magic was outlawed. And using such magic to get the appeal of girls... It's disgusting."

"I zee." Said Natsu, while chewing a chicken thigh.

"I may not look like this, but I am a mage, too, " Lucy said with a confident smile. And I dream of joining the guild."

"Oooh." Natsu was slurping a spaghetti.

"There are so many great guilds, and there is the one I want to get into," Dreamily said Lucy.

"Mmm" Natsu was looking at Lucy.

"Ah sorry, you wouldn't understand the world of mages, would you?" Said Lucy.

"I... I see." Said Natsu with steak in his mouth.

"You talk too much." Stated Happy.

"By the way, you looked like you looking for someone." Said Lucy.

"Yeah, Igneel." Said Natsu, then he turned disappointed. "I heard Salamander will be here, so I thought it would be Igneel. But it was some dude."

"Salamander didn't look like salamander." Stated Happy.

"How could a human look like a salamander?" Lucy felt weird from their talk.

"Because he's not a human." Stated Natsu. "Igneel is a dragon."

"A DRAGON?!" Lucy exclaimed, her voice echoing in disbelief. "NO WAY something like that would show up in a town like this!"

"Yeah, like I didn't figure that out," Natsu replied, crossing his arms and looking slightly annoyed. "Anyway, what's up with that kid?"

"Huh?" Lucy blinked, caught off guard. "Oh, you noticed him too?"

"Yeah. He smelled... weird," Natsu said, frowning slightly. "Especially his wrist."

"His wrist?" Lucy echoed, thinking back to the strange device. "Oh, you mean that watch? Yeah, it looked bizarre. I was going to stop him and ask a few questions."

Lucy glanced down at the receipt in her hand, her irritation bubbling to the surface.

"ONLY IF YOU WEREN'T HUNGRY LIKE A WHOLE BAND OF MARCHING SOLDIERS!" Lucy shouted, her voice full of aggressive surprise.

Natsu just stuffed the last bite of his meal into his mouth.

"I guess I better get going," Lucy said, leaving money on the table. "Wish you good luck with your Igneel."

Natsu and Happy looked at her. Their eyes were slowly filling with tears.

"Thank you!" Said Natsu and Happy in unison and fell to their knees.

"Kyaa, there is no need to act like that." Said Lucy, she felt embarrassed. "I just paid back for help."

"See you!" Said Natsu and Happy in unison again as Lucy left the building.

Lucy wandered through the bustling streets of Hargeon, her thoughts still fixed on the strange boy with the peculiar watch. She couldn't shake the nagging curiosity that had gripped her since their brief encounter. Who was he? What was that watch on his wrist? And why did he seem so intent on staying out of sight?

Determined to get some answers, Lucy decided to start asking around. She approached a cheerful fruit vendor near the docks, flashing her warmest smile. "Excuse me, have you seen a kid about ten years old? He's got messy brown hair and this… really strange watch on his wrist."

The vendor tilted his head in thought, then shook it. "Can't say I've seen anyone like that. But now that you mention it, some folks have been talking about strange things happening around town lately. You wouldn't believe the stories."

Lucy perked up. "Strange things? Like what?"

"Well, just the other day, someone claimed they saw a creature made of fire stomping through the docks," he said, leaning in conspiratorially. "Said it looked like some kind of flaming golem. And last week, there were reports of a huge, four-armed red troll chasing off a bunch of thieves near the market."

Lucy blinked, her mind racing. Fire golems? Four-armed trolls? That's weird. She thanked the vendor and moved on, her search becoming more focused.

As she made her way through Hargeon, Lucy heard even more bizarre tales from the locals. A group of fishermen swore they'd been chased by a giant insect-like creature near the shoreline, while an elderly woman spoke of a blind hound prowling the alleys late at night. Each story was stranger than the last, but they all had one thing in common—they described creatures unlike anything Lucy had ever heard of.

Could all of these sightings be connected to that boy? Lucy couldn't ignore the possibility.

Hours passed as she scoured the town, following every lead and questioning anyone who might have seen something unusual. But the more she searched, the more elusive her quarry seemed. Finally, as the sun dipped lower in the sky, Lucy found herself in a small park on the edge of town. She sank onto a bench with a tired sigh, her shoulders slumping.

"This is impossible," she muttered, running a hand through her hair. "How am I supposed to find one kid in a place this big?"

For a moment, Lucy let her gaze drift to the children playing nearby. Their laughter filled the air, a reminder of simpler days when magic and adventure were just distant dreams. She clutched her mage magazine tightly, her resolve wavering.

Maybe she was chasing a fantasy. Maybe the boy wasn't even real—just another one of Hargeon's strange rumors. But something deep inside her refused to give up. There was a connection between him and the stories, she was sure of it. And if she could find him, maybe—just maybe—she'd find some answers, not just about him but about herself, too.

Lucy leaned back on the bench.

"Where are you, kid?" she whispered, determined not to leave empty-handed.

Lucy decided to start reading her Sorcerer magazine. There was a lot of news about the guild's doings, including Fairy Tail. The last they did was one of their mages destroyed a few houses while stopping Devon Thief's family. Sounds in their style. She sees a photoshoot of Mirajane Strauss, a Mage of Fairy Tail.

"Well, I guess if I was in the guild." Said Lucy with a sad face. "My search would go easier."

"THAT'S MONSTER, RUN." Some punks shouted while parallel to Lucy.

"HUH?!" Lucy looked at the running punks.

The red spark appeared on the opposite side of them. Lucy turned to see what it was. And Salamander stood near her.

"No need to worry, young lady." Said he with a charming voice. "Those were just some pity robbers that got their lesson learned."

"I see," Said Lucy, while slowly moving to the corner of the bench to be far away from the guy.

"And the thing happened: I was looking for you." Salamander said that with his flashing smile. "I'd love for you to join our party on the ship,"

"Huh?!" Lucy stood up. "Let me tell you first. Your 'charm' doesn't work on me anymore. That's their prime weakness."

"I knew it! I thought you were a mage when our eyes first time met." Salamander wasn't giving up. "It's okay, you can just come to the party."

"Pass." Said Lucy, moving away from him.

"W.. Wait?!" Said Salamander."I heard you wanted to join Fairy Tail guild."

Lucy stopped and looked back.

"Have you ever heard of Salamander of Fairy Tail?" Said with a smile Salamander.

"I have." Lucy nodded. "Are you mages from Fairy Tail?"

"Yes, I am. If you want to join, I could speak with the master on your behalf," Said Salamander.

Lucy could hardly believe her ears. A chance to join Fairy Tail? Her heart practically leaped out of her chest.

"That would be wonderful!" she exclaimed, stepping closer to him.

Salamander chuckled, his tone oozing charm. "You're easy to read, aren't you? Well, why don't you join me at my party tonight? It'll be on my ship—exclusive for special guests, of course."

"Well, of course." Lucy leaned closer to Salamander, twirling a lock of her hair as she giggled.

Of course!" Lucy agreed, her voice almost singsong. She clasped her hands together, trying to contain her excitement.

After giving her the details of the party, Salamander excused himself and strolled off, his charming smile fading the moment Lucy was out of sight.

Out of the shadows, two disheveled punks stumbled toward him, their faces pale. "Boss!" one of them blurted. "We tried, but—"

"What now?" Salamander snapped, his friendly facade completely gone. His eyes narrowed as pinkish flames flickered around his hands.

"There was... there was something!" the other punk stammered. "A ghost or something—just appeared outta nowhere!"

"A ghost?" Salamander's voice dripped with disdain. Without warning, he lashed out, sending a wave of fire crashing into one of the punks. The man yelped, stumbling backward as the flames dissipated.

"No more excuses!" Salamander growled. "We're almost done here. Get everything ready for the party. I don't want any more screw-ups."

The punks scurried off, terrified. Salamander shook his head, muttering to himself. "Ghosts... What a joke."

As he turned to leave, a rustling sound from the bushes caught his attention. For a moment, he paused, scanning the area, but saw nothing. Shrugging, he walked away.

Hidden among the foliage, a boy sat cross-legged, an apple in one hand and a watch glowing faintly on his wrist. He took a slow bite, his green eyes narrowing as he watched Salamander retreat.

"So you're the bad guy, huh?" the boy murmured to himself, a smirk tugging at his lips. His gaze flicked to the watch, the glowing faceplate flashing red. "Well, I guess it's your lucky hour."

He stood up, stretching lazily before disappearing into the shadows with the same quiet grace.

It was a dark, quiet night. Natsu and Happy wandered along the upper layers of the city, their stomachs full from their latest meal. The city below was a maze of flickering lights and distant sounds, while the sea beyond its borders shimmered faintly under the starlit sky.

"And we still didn't find him," Natsu grumbled, his hands tucked behind his head. Then, despite his words, a wide grin spread across his face. "At least the food was awesome."

"Aye, sir!" Happy chirped, fluttering beside him.

As they moved along, Happy's gaze drifted to the horizon. Through a gap between the buildings, he spotted a large ship anchored offshore. Its glowing lights sparkled like a floating festival, visible even from their vantage point.

"Oh yeah, Salamander said he was throwing a party on a ship," Happy said. "Maybe that's it."

Natsu froze mid-step, his face turning pale. "I... feel... sick," he groaned weakly, clutching his stomach.

Happy let out a snicker. "Don't get motion sickness just by looking at it!"

The girls standing nearby chatted excitedly, their voices cutting through the quiet night.

"Look, look! That's Salamander's ship!" one of them squealed, practically bouncing with excitement. "Aww, I wish I was at that party!"

"Salamander?" the other asked, tilting her head.

"You don't know him? He's that amazing mage that came into town now!" the first girl said, her voice filled with admiration. "I heard he's from Fairy Tail!"

At the mention of Fairy Tail, Natsu froze. His expression shifted, eyes narrowing in sudden focus.

"Fairy Tail?" he muttered, glancing toward the ship. But as soon as his eyes locked on it, his face turned green, and he wobbled unsteadily. "Ugh... I feel... sick..."

As Natsu tried to steady himself, a small figure stepped out of the shadows nearby—a brown-haired boy wearing slightly dirty clothes and a strange, glowing watch. He stared at the ship in the distance, a thoughtful smile on his face.

"Nice view," the boy said casually. "Perfect spot to crash the party."

Natsu blinked at him, confused. "Huh? What are you talking about?"

The boy didn't answer directly. Instead, he tapped his watch, and with a click, the faceplate popped up, glowing faintly. He started turning it, the holographic images on it spinning rapidly.

"Yeah, that will work," the boy murmured, locking in his choice. Then, glancing at Natsu, he added, "You might want to step back."

"Step back? Why—"

Before Natsu could finish, the boy slammed his hand down on the watch. A flash of green light erupted around him. Rocks began to form over his small frame, growing and shifting until he towered like a slightly bigger grown-up man. Molten lava cracked through the surface, and fire ignited on his head, blazing brightly.

"Whoa!" Natsu yelped, his motion sickness forgotten.

"Is that a... golem?!" Happy gasped, wide-eyed.

The fiery creature grinned, his voice booming with energy. "It's Hero Time!"

With a roar, he thrust his hands downward, using them to fire blasting him into the air. The heat rippled through the night as he shot toward the ship like a comet, leaving Natsu and Happy staring after him in stunned silence.

Natsu stared after the fiery figure streaking toward the ship. His jaw tightened, and his eyes burned with a fierce determination.

"Happy, we're going too!" he said, his voice steady but laced with intensity. He clenched his fist, flames flickering to life around it.

Happy fluttered in place, concern etched on his face. "Are you sure, Natsu? You don't look so—"

"I've never been more sure, Happy!" Natsu snapped, cutting him off. The heat from his fist intensified, the flames dancing wildly.

Happy hesitated for a moment longer before nodding. "Aye, sir!"

With that, the two launched into action, Natsu's fiery resolve lighting their path.

Lucy sat uneasily, fidgeting with the hem of her red dress. Salamander was pouring wine into glasses, his smile all charm but his eyes calculating.

"Shouldn't you be with everyone else?" Lucy asked, forcing politeness into her tone. "They came to see you, after all."

"Why would I waste this night on them," Salamander said smoothly, sending a few drops of wine floating toward her with his magic, "when I could spend it with a beauty like you, Lucy?"

Lucy's smile faltered. She leaned back as the drops hovered closer. How annoying, she thought. But for Fairy Tail, she endured.

The drops were inches away when her patience snapped. With a swift motion, she smacked them aside and stood, her gaze hardening.

"This is a sleeping drug, isn't it?" she accused, her voice steady despite her racing heart.

Salamander's smile wavered for a moment before returning, colder this time. "Clever girl. And here I thought you'd make this easy."

Two men grabbed her arms from behind, holding her in place. Lucy struggled, but their grip was iron.

"What's happening?" she demanded, panic rising.

Salamander stepped closer, his charming mask gone. He grabbed her chin roughly, forcing her to meet his cruel smile. "Welcome to our slave ship, darling. Once we get to Bosco, you'll fetch quite the price."

Lucy's blood ran cold. "Bosco? But... what about Fairy Tail?"

Salamander laughed. "Fairy Tail? You actually believed that? You're more naïve than I thought."

He yanked the ring of keys from her waist, inspecting them. "A celestial spirit mage, huh? Too bad these are useless to me."

Before Lucy could protest, Salamander tossed the keys out the window.

"No!" Lucy cried, despair overwhelming her. So this is what Fairy Tail stands for?

Her thoughts were interrupted as Salamander heated a branding rod, his twisted smile widening.

"Time to mark you as a slave," he said. "Don't worry. The pain won't last forever."

Lucy closed her eyes, trembling with anger and fear. "You're the worst mage I've ever met."

Suddenly, the roof exploded. Debris and smoke filled the room as something heavy landed with a crash. Heat radiated from the figure standing in the wreckage.

As the dust cleared, everyone saw a massive golem-like being with glowing lava veins and a head wreathed in flames.

"Well," the creature rumbled, "looks like I finally found the right ship. Took me three tries, though." He chuckled, flames crackling around him.

Lucy stared, noticing something. The golem's chest bore a symbol—a green hourglass.

One of the thugs pointed, trembling. "It's him! That monster who stopped one of our heists!"

"Actually," the golem said, his voice light despite the tension, "I stopped all of them. You guys really need to diversify."

Salamander narrowed his eyes. "And who, exactly, are you supposed to be?"

The golem bowed dramatically, embers dancing in the air. "I'm Heatblast—the hottest superhero you'll ever meet!"

For a moment, the room was silent. Then the thugs and Salamander burst into laughter.

"Superhero?" Salamander said between guffaws. "What a joke!"

"You know know what is gonna be a joke?" Said flustered Heatblast. "It's gonna be your burning b..."

Before he could finish, something heavy crashed into him, sending both tumbling to the ground in a cloud of smoke and debris. The ship shuddered from the impact, splintered wood scattering across the room.

"What now?" Salamander growled, his composure slipping as the dust began to settle.

From the haze, a pink-haired boy emerged, wobbling unsteadily. Natsu clutched his stomach, his face pale. "I... hate... transportation..." he muttered, dropping to his knees.

Heatblast pushed himself off the ground, flames sputtering from his rocky body. He turned toward the newcomer, his fiery gaze narrowing. "What are you doing here?" he barked, swiping at the dust on his lava-crusted arms.

"I should be asking you that, Firehead!" Natsu snapped back, struggling to his feet despite his motion sickness. His glare faltered, replaced by a grimace. "Ugh... stupid ship."

"What did you say, pinkie?" Said Heatblast, leaning his head toward Natsu's.

"Hhhhrrrr..." Both were greeting their teeth and their head were pushing each other.

Lucy, watching from the sidelines, felt a mix of relief and disbelief. "These two are unbelievable," she muttered, shaking her head.

A familiar voice broke through the chaos. "Lucy! Are you okay?"

Lucy looked up to see Happy flying toward her, his blue wings shimmering in the dim light. "Happy!" she exclaimed, a wave of relief washing over her. "I was tricked into joining this ship, and now—wait." She squinted at him. "Since when do you have wings?"

"Not important right now!" Happy said, grabbing Lucy under her arms. "We're getting out of here!"

"Wait! What about Natsu?" Lucy cried, glancing back at the chaotic scene.

Happy flapped harder, his little body straining to lift her. "I can only carry one person!" he shouted.

"Oh dear." Quietly said Lucy.

Salamander's eyes narrowed as he spotted the escaping pair. "Don't let them get away!" he barked at his crew.

The punks scrambled into action, manning the ship's cannons. Boom! A cannonball roared past, narrowly missing Lucy and Happy as they soared into the sky.

A few more cannons shot, still missing a flying cat. Happy aimed to the shore to drop Lucy. While trying to avoid cannonballs and keep away from the ship, Happy felt how he was losing his magic power to keep flying.

"I'm sorry, Lucy." Happy's wings disappeared, and they started to fall. "I can't do this anymore."

"Damn cat." Shouted Lucy.

It took a few seconds as Lucy dived into the sea. Lucy immediately looked around. She tried to see where she was, and she noticed her ring with celestial spirit keys on corals. Lucy swam towards them and picked up it. She was scrolling, choosing the right key. Lucy then emerged from the water.

"Here I come." Shouted Lucy, as she put the key into the water. "OPEN! A DOOR TO THE VASE PALACE! AQUARIUS!"

From the water emerged a big chunk of the light. A creature manifested from it. It was a woman with a lower body of the fish. She held a vase in her hands.

"Aquarius! Please help us." Lucy begged for help.

Aquarius looked at Lucy and turned away

"Tch." The only sound went from her mouth.

"DID YOU JUST SAY 'TCH'?!" Shouted Lucy in frustration.

"You such a noisy kid." Aquarius looked annoyed. "Let me tell you one thing."

Water started to rise around the Celestial Spirit.

"If you again drop my key, I'll kill you."

"I'm sorry." Quietly said Lucy.

"ORAHH!" Shouted Aquarius as she swung with her vase.

The swing created a huge wave that was going to the Hargeon. The ship was pushed by the wave. Everything inside was flying from one corner to another. Punks were holding themselves in belief to survive. Heatblast was trying to fly away, but the water that got inside faded him. Natsu experienced his worst motion sickness.

Lucy and Happy happened not to be a special case. They were flushed with the ship together.

In the end, the ship ended at the port. The punks mostly ended up being beaten hard. Salamander was unconscious. Natsu was also unconscious. The same could be said about Heatblast, but he was covered in rubble. Lucy and Happy were flushed on the top of the ship.

Salamander woke up dizzy, stepped to the window, and that he was back at Hargeon.

"WE'RE STORMED TO THE PORT!" Shouted Salamander, as his dizziness evaporated.

"It stopped..."

"Huh!?" Salamander and others who woke up looked at Natsu.

"The rocking stopped." Said Natsu, who seemed to start to feel better.

He stood up and started massaging his shoulder. Salamander with punks stood up on the opposite side from the Pink-haired boy.

The doors opened into the room and Lucy entered.

"Natsu!" Lucy was breathing with struggle. "You okay?"

"Brats... You shouldn't have entered the parties, you were not invited." Salamander was full of himself in the belief of advantage in numbers.

Natsu was quiet. His sight was focused on bad guys. He slowly took off his coat. Boom! Behind him, an explosion happened. From the explosion, Heatblast emerged, fully fired up.

"That was rough." Golem was moving his jaw.

"Hey, Salamander!" Natsu was ignoring everything around him. "Are you really a mage of Fairy Tail?"

"What about it?" Salamander then gave the order to his goons. "Take care of them."

"Yes, boss." Goons ran into Natsu and Heatblast.

"Let me look closely at ya!" Said Natsu, not reacting to other enemies.

One of the goons attacked with a punch at Natsu. Natsu grabbed his fist with the right hand and slammed into the others. They scattered around the room, and two of them flew at Heatblast.

"Could you be careful?" Heatblast caught them and threw them away.

After the swing, everyone could clearly see Natsu's right hand. On his shoulder was seen a red emblem of Fairy Tail guild. Everyone, besides Heatblast, had their jaws dropped. Either it was from the fact that Natsu is a Fairy Tail member or the fact that he swang a person with one hand.

"I'm Natsu from Fairy Tail." The veins appeared on his head from anger. "And never heard of you!"

"What-" Salamander was scared like he never does.

"Fairy Tail." Shocked was Lucy.

"What?" Heatblast stood still, having no idea what pink hair talking about.

"He's real..." Said one of the punks spoke to Salamander. "Bora, he's real."

"Don't call me by real name, idiot!" Said Bora as he punched one of his thugs.

"Bora? Bora of Prominence? The one who was kicked up from Titan Nose guild several years ago?" Said curiously Happy.

"Yeah, I heard he did some thefts while being a member," Lucy remembered what she was reading about that.

"I don't care if you are a bad guy or a saint." Natsu's face was pumping with rage. "I don't forgive anyone for using that name."

"Alright, buddy." Heatblast stepped up to Natsu. "Now move away for a hero to do his job."

Natsu turned to Heatblast and punched him into the floor. Everyone again was shocked by Natsu's monstrous strength.

"Don't stand in my way" Natsu turned back to Bora.

He wanted to make a step forward, but someone ticked on his shoulder. Natsu turned back, and the first thing he saw was a burning rock fist launched at his face. Natsu rammed a floor from that punch.

"Maybe you staying on my way." Golem was not happy with not being taken seriously.

"Can you guys maybe work together?" Lucy showed signs of slight embarrassment.

Bora didn't want to wait how the conflict between two hot-headed persons gonna end. He fired a fire spell at them. A large stream of pink fire emitted from his palm and flew exactly the pair. All they could do in a short time was just to watch as flames covered them.

"Eat this, annoying brats." Bora was laughing at his triumph.

"Natsu!" Shouted Lucy in worry.

"Heatblast!" Shouted Happy too.

"In what team you are?" Curiously asked Lucy.

The fire was passionately burning. It was burning so strongly that no normal human would survive.

"Awful!" Were heard voices from the flame.

"Huh?!" Bora with his thugs looked shocked again.

One-half of the flame was becoming smaller. The smaller it was, the more clearly the figure of unharmed Heatblast appeared. He looked slightly annoyed while holding Bora's flame in a small ball.

The other half was also becoming smaller. From a silhouette, it looked like Natsu was literally eating the fire. As he finished, the Fairy Tail mage looked disappointed.

"That looked weird." Stated Heatblast while throwing the ball from one hand to the other.

"If he is really fire mage," Said Natsu. "How is his flame so untasteful?"

Everyone, besides our fire duo, how far their shock gonna go that night.

"But anyway, thanks for the food!" Said Natsu as he was wiping his mouth.

"Are you really a human?" Heatblast was really curious.

"Fire can't take Natsu." Stated Happy.

"Anyway, let's go!" Natsu took a deep breath in.

Suddenly everything started to feel hot. It was early feeling hot, but now becoming hot as hell. Heatblast felt that whatever pink gonna do, it's gonna go powerful. He noticed Lucy and Happy. Golem ran as fast as possible towards them.

"It's gonna go hot!" Said Heatblast as he stood right in front of them.

As everyone started to run, Natsu was breathing out. And he breathed out a powerful flame. It was so powerful that it exploded a ship with nearly few buildings, completely leveling them. On their places was nothing left but trash and dust.

Lucy squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself against the intense heat.

"Everything good now." A calm voice spoke to her.

Lucy opened her eyes and she saw how Heatblast used Bora's fire with his to cover her with Happy. Even though they felt the heat it did no damage to them. Besides probably making Happy's hair straight.

"His flame feels so different," Heatblast stated his feelings from manipulating Bora's fire. "I never felt anything similar. And the way he fires them. From a palm. That's new for me!"

Lucy looked curiously at the golem. The way he speaks and acts, even by looks. It speaks about being not from Magnolia. Well, maybe even Earthland. She felt like a creature was in some way reminding her of the boy she had tried to find earlier. The hourglass symbol was emitting similar energy as his watch.

Now, in Lucy's head were just two thoughts. What is this thing, and how is it connected to the boy? Maybe he is possessed or has a shapeshifting magic.

"I guess everything is good." Heatblast took off the fire cover.

Lucy, Heatblast, and Happy looked at the aftermath of Natsu's fire. The ship was turned into ash. The thugs were lying everywhere. The neighboring buildings were also destroyed. Bora was also lying unconscious. There was only one figure standing in the center. It was Natsu.

"What was that?" Lucy couldn't understand what exactly is Natsu's magic.

"That's ancient magic that converts the body to dragon's imitation." Happy was speaking like he was citing the history book. "Dragon's lungs spew the fire. Its scales can melt fire, and its claws are covered in fire."

Heatblast was not listening and was stepping towards Natsu. His flames were getting hotter.

Natsu saw him coming. He took a step towards the golem.

"Erm, sorry for what I did earlier." Natsu tried to apologize. "On the other hand, can you spare some fire? I feel I'm hun-"

Natsu was interrupted by a Heatblast fist. He then flew a meter away from him. Heatblast was walking towards him.

"Did you see the damage you caused?!" Shouted Heatblast, as he was furious. "I can be okay with taking from me a chance of beating a bad guy. But it is really reckless to use your powers."

"Well, I'm sorry." Said Natsu while standing up from the fall. He squatted and then jumped, while covered in fire, at the golem. "BUT YOU COULD JUST SAY IT."

Natsu struck Heatblast and pushed him through the building. Heatblast grabbed him and threw him into the sky. Natsu used his legs to thrust him back to the ground. Natsu flew at the golem like a meteor, but Heatblast emitted an explosion that pushed the mage away. The monster then fired a flame at him, and Natsu ate it. Natsu bursts the flame from his mouth. The flame was the size of the monster. The moment of the hit. Heatblast was holding, trying to control the flame.

"It's hard to control that flame." Heatblast tries to understand Natsu's fire. "That fire goes so strong and intensive. Like it's not me dealing with flame. It feels like alive."

From the stream of the fire, Natsu was going forward, preparing his fire fist. Heatblast saw this and decided to prepare his fist, too. Both of their fists were accumulating lots of heat. Natsu lunged forward, his fist blazing.

'Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!' he roared, as his fist started to cover with more fire.

"You go down." Said his prediction Heatblast.

The collision erupted in a fiery explosion, shaking the ground beneath them. The explosion was powerful enough to level a few more buildings. Everything was covered in smoke.

Lucy and Happy were walking around the place of the explosion. She had a hard time comprehending such a level of destruction. She walked closer to the center of the kaboom. The smoke was intense. Nothing was possible to see.

"Where are the... AHHH!" Lucy fell after stepping on something. "OUCH!"

Lucy looked closely at what she had stepped at. Lucy narrowed her sight and saw what it was. It was an unconscious kid, the same one I was looking for. She looked at his watch closely; it had the same sign as on the fire golem.

"So, all those rumors..." Lucy was looking shockingly. "All of it. It was you."

"LUCY!" Shouted Happy. "I found Natsu."

"I found another one." Said back, Lucy.

Happy looked at Natsu.

"There are tasty fire." Said Happy.

"Where?" Immediately Natsu woke up.

"He's alive Lucy." Stated Happy to Lucy.

"That's good, I guess," Lucy said while checking the kid. It looked like a kid just fell asleep.

Natsu stood up and stepped up to the kid. He was a little bit dizzy from the explosion.

"You are strong, dude." Said Natsu with childish fascination. "Even though I don't feel any magic in you."

"If he has no magic, as you saying..." Lucy didn't understand. "How does he turn into that golem?"

"Probably because of those fancy watches." Said Natsu as he was holding the kid's hand.

"HEY, WHO CAUSED ALL OF THIS?!" The voice was heard from far away.

Natsu looked narrowly at the side of the voice. The guards were on the way to deal with the mess.

The kid started to wake up.

"What... what is happe-" Kid didn't finish himself, as he was grabbed by Natsu.

Natsu also took Lucy with him. They both were like dolls in his hands. And Mage ran as fast as he could.

"Crap, they are here!" Natsu was annoyed by the fact that guards appeared.

"WHY ME?!" Lucy was swinging with tears.

"You wanted to join the Fairy Tail, right?" Said Natsu with a warm smile.

Lucy looked shocked. It looks like her dream about joining the guild will come true. She smiled back at Natsu.

"Then let's go!" Said Natsu.

"What's happening?!" Shouted the kid.

"We on the run." Said Lucy. "It would be good for you to go with us. The guards might catch you if you stay here."

"I don't really want to hang out with anyone here." Said the kid as he tried to free himself.

"Man, Lucy is right." Natsu had a strong grip on the kid's hand. "At least go with us to Magnolia. Maybe you won't join to guild, but at least let us help you."

The kid was looking at Natsu and Lucy. He really preferred to still be at solo. But probably a chance to have something more than taking food from farms doesn't sound really that bad. Plus new clothes might be good. Well, I will just stick with them, if they ask about myself too much, I will just run.

"Okay." Said kid. "I'm going with you, but I'm not joining your 'guilds'."

"That's nice to hear." Said Lucy with happiness. "Oh, by the way. My name is Lucy. The pink troublemaker is Natsu."

"Hey!" Natsu was annoyed by her.

"What about you? What's your name?" Lucy asked with a friendly smile.

The kid was hesitant about that. Should he really say his name or lie? But the kid wasn't sure about a lie. They looked like they were nice people in some ways. At least they don't look like they have a big interest in his watch. The kid chose to say the truth but in small portions.

"My name is Ben." Revealed the kid his name to the duo.

"It's nice to meet you, Ben." Lucy greeted him with a smile.

Ben smiled back but with slight nervousness.

"And I'm Happy." Happy flying near Natsu with others.

"Talking cat!" Ben was shocked.

Everyone was laughing while running away from the city. Towards the new adventures. To the Fairy Tail.
