Getting to Paris was not an easy task from where Tommy and Celeste live. No, the town they live near, which was Nemours, was a little south of France' capital and they all had to look for a good taxi to get to the city of lovers. While waiting, a pervert of a man with a lanky appearance came up to Loona, trying to flirt with her. "Bonjour, ma cherie." he said in a sultry voice. "Tu es très belle. Je t'aime." he bounced his eyebrows three times as he gently held Loona's right hand, then he motioned his face trying to kiss her.

Clearly unamused, Loona rolled her eyes with a scowl and promptly punched the creep in the face with a fist, knocking him out cold. "Je deteste." she said flatly to the pervert.

At last, when the taxi came, Tommy told the driver that he and the others wanted to go to Paris, and the driver happily drove them there. It was going to take about an hour to get there, but everyone has their phones so it wouldn't be that big of a deal in this sixty-minute drive to one of the greatest cities in the world. "So what are we going to see in Paris?" Asked Cody curiously.

"Take a look at a few old-fashioned meat shops, bakeries, those things. The Louvre, like I mentioned," said Tommy, "takes a whole week to complete, so we can save that for another day."

"Isn't that where that shitty painting is?" Loona pointed. "Can't remember her name, but how she has her hands on her lap."

"Ze Mona Lisa?" Asked Celeste. "It's not shitty, it's created by one of ze greatest artists and inventors of all time. But yes."

"I thought so." Loona didn't bother looking at Celeste. "Just don't see why many people love that painting so much. It's just a woman getting a screenshot in a time where cameras didn't even exist."

"Yeah, the days before smartphones." Tommy smiled. "The painting there is supposed to be the main attraction for the Louvre."

"But when you see zat, you will be disappointed." Celeste pointed. "the reason is because, the Mona Lisa is not as big as many people expect it to be. Plus, it is a big tourist trap."

"How?" asked the human boy

"countless people from across the world come to see the Mona Lisa." said Tommy.

"And since its ze main attraction, it gets crowded in front of the line that is the barrier for the painting, and you can easily bump into many people."

"That can get annoying very quickly." Cody's brother rolled his eyes. "No one likes being stuck in a crows. Just a bunch of people shoving one another to get a perfect picture or snapshot of the most famous painting in the whole world. But the Louvre has many things. So many exhibits as far as the eye can see. Medieval weapons, taxidermy, African artifacts, you name it. But like i said before; we'll go there another time."

"What else is there in Paris?"

"Oh many things," said the taxi driver. "Napoleon's tomb, the Notre-Dame cathedral if you have seen the Disney movie."

"I have seen the movie." Cody smiled.

"Of course, there is its most famous landmark: the Eiffel Tower." The cab driver continued on. "The Arc De Triumph, Grand Palais, many other things. There even used to be a large prison a little bit before ze Revolution, ze Bastille."

"Right. Bastille day." Celeste smiled. "Similar to America's Independence Day."

"Where do we go first?" Asked Loona flatly.

"How about Napoleon's tomb?" Asked Tommy. "The place is called Hôtel des Invalides. It's home to many French military heroes throughout history, Napoleon, his family, and others."

"But I thought Napoleon died on that island." Cody pointed.

"St. Helena?" Said his big brother. "Yes, but the French brought his body back from the island, and buried him this place in his honor. So when we get there, we'll just start with the most famous ones, and you can come back another day."

"Sounds good". Cody smiled.

When they finally made it to Paris and after Tommy paid the cab driver for getting them all the way here, Cody was amazed to see the capital city of France. It was even bigger than he thought it would be.

"So how do we get to Napoleon from here?" Asked Loona as she was looking around. "There's so many scents from many people around here, I can't fucking tell which smell is which."

"Don't worry, we've been here countless times before." Said Celeste. "We know Paris like the back of our hands"

"Yeah, just follow us. It's not far from here."

As they were walking, Cody was astounded to see many wondrous things. The cafes, the meat shops, and many other places that American cities don't have. Of course, Paris had many restaurants like Burger King, McDonald's, Five Guys, Subways, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and other similar restaurants like that, since those are global chains. So it should not be surprised if there are restaurants in other western countries.

Sure Cody had French food before, but he bet that the food like the frog legs and escargot would be better since it would be more authentic to eat food in its homeland.

Les Invalides was even bigger than Cody had imagined. In the courtyard, he saw a statue of Napoleon on one of the balconies. If there is a statue of France's great emperor, then what Tommy and Celeste said to him before is true.

"So is he that loved?" Asked Loona

"Of course." Celeste said. "Many people perceived him as a dictator before. But most of it is just western stereotypes or propaganda against Napoleon. He helped France in many ways with his rule and created the Napoleonic Code."

"And the Code is still relevant in many countries today." Tommy smiled. "Besides, he wasn't evil like Hitler, Stalin, or Mussolini."

"Heh, yeah. Explains why Napoleon isn't in the torture chambers like those three like you mentioned."

"And the only big enemy Napoleon had in his life was Britain."

"Right, the Battle of Waterloo and all that." Loona smirked.

When the four made it, there it was. The sarcophagus of Napoleon himself, looking big and majestic. The human boy looked amazed and gazed at the resting place. He even wondered what his remains looked like on the inside.

"Hmmm, I wonder what kind of treasure I can loot from that." Loona had a thinking face

"Loona!" Tommy scolded her.

"Oh I'm just fucking with you." Loona smiled

"not funny."

"I wish I had flowers to pay tribute." Cody said. "Is this we can get to him?"

"Sadly, yeah." Tommy sighed. "Napoleon is a beloved man in France and it would make everyone angry if you accidentally leave a scratch or a mark on it. Since many people can be very... sensitive about their cultures."

"True. I hear you can't really joke about anything anymore these days."

"You are definitely not wrong, Cody." Said Celeste. "More people are becoming more aware of their cultures and their history."

"I thought so."

Later on, Cody was back home in Hell, and Loona teleported Tommy and Celeste back to Cody's hometown as they were still staying there for a few more days.

Sitting on the couch, Cody got a souvenir for himself that Tommy bought, which was a replica of Bapoleon's signature bicorn hat.

He couldn't help but pose regally in front of his mirror many times, flaunting at his handsomeness.

Loona laughed, and asked: "feel like ruling the world, your majesty?"

"No. being an emperor can be a hard job."

"Hey, true. Everyone will just hate you if you suddenly become a president or a country's leader. Always people that hate leaders."

"Including you, Loony?" Asked Blitzo.

"Yep. Fuck politicians."

Putting his new hat on Patrick, Cody asked: "what did you think of Paris, Loona?"

"very big and very noisy, but it did have some beautiful scenery. Though a lot of human men were hitting on me. I'm not even that sexy!"

"You could have just said something, Loona."

"No, No, I didn't have a bad time. The suits of armor in that place looked very cool. If you're happy, then I'm happy, Cody." She hugged him again. "And I think it's cool your brother's getting married. I always had a feeling that the human versions of Moxxie and Millie would get married one of these days."

"I know! I can't believe I'm going to be Tommy's best man!"

"Why couldn't I have been the fucking best man! I am the greatest man in the whole world, bitch!" Blitzo taunted.

"Yeah, the greatest man to screw over relationships." Said Loona in a sarcastic voice.

"Well for your information, me and Fizz' relationship is fully repaired."
