~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 7: The Cartographer's Genome ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

*Camera pans out and zooms in on large, empty enclosure exactly thirty yards away from the power station. The location is back on Isla Sorna, both during the daytime and at night. A large whirring sound is heard in the distance, belonging to a Geothermal power generator. And inside the silent enclosure, is a set of carnivorous Dinosaurs as well as a very large aquatic specimen from the Mesozoic age. These are the types of Dinosaurs you would not normally expect to meet, as they thrash about…staring out into the wild pastures beyond. They continue to growl and make introductory hunting noises, as if trying to communicate some kind of distant message. It is a quiet evening as the rain continues to pour down. Each of the trees sway and blow with the wind, as though something is expected yet nothing comes. In the peak of the mountainous hillside, you see smaller Dinosaurs grazing and running through a routine that takes them back and forth between the various tribal formations. And standing nearby is Owen Grady, who is watching the animals frolic back and forth…wondering what lies beyond the bend./

Owen Grady: "My my, this is just like I remember it. So peaceful and quiet, yet mysterious…There's something in there calling out my name. I just don't know what it is."

Claire Dearing: "….Uh Owen, are you sure it isn't the Indominus Rex?"

Owen Grady: "No it's definitely not that….that much I'm sure of…I feel like ever since the events of Dominion, something strange has been calling to me..Yet I just don't know what it is yet…It's one of those hunches."

Owen: "It's like this Island knows me better than I know myself…Like there's some mystery tied to Dinosaurs in some other herd somewhere, and it's got my name on it….But I can't see it yet.."

Blue: "Hissss! RAAWRRREERRR! GRRRWR!"

Owen: "That's probably it, girl…..It might be a new type of civilization…just can't see it yet."

/The wind howled through the open green plains of Isla Sorna, as a sudden burst of Nature's algorithm began to settle in to the underbrush. It nestled itself into the massive world, content with knowing there was no other place like it on earth. Each of the turbines would rotate in a clockwise fashion, as the sky began to turn a crystal clear aqua blue under the mid-day sun.*

/Fade to Isla Sorna on the interior of the perimeter fences. There is a large carnivore stalking about the long grass known as the Acrocanthosaurus which has a amazing glare in its eyes. The Wind Turbine rotates at a swift and steady speed nearby, that begins to bring power to the Grid and the farms which cover the landscape in this area of Isla Sorna at night. In some time, the land which graces this backdrop has not been tended to and it shows as the lab's late night activities hum and beam at night. There is a tranquil ambience to the design as the animals especially the Acrocanthosaurus roar and roam nearby. The nest within the decontamination center is worn and well used. It is absolutely silent, as Robert Muldoon and his party approach the Operations building.*

A.I. VOICE: "HELLO DR. ARNOLD. WELCOME TO THE INCUBATION CENTER. WHAT IS THE PASSWORD TO ENTER THE ISLA SORNA ARCHIPELAGO?"

Muldoon: "It's been a long time since I've been to this place, so it beats me…Maybe it is "GENARRO."

A.I. VOICE: "BZZT, THAT IS INCORRECT." (((The voice shouts, as suddenly large drones activate nearby and the Acrocanthosaurus begins to move steadily towards the large containment shed. Each of the drones are armed with a semi-automatic carbine pistol which shoots of dozens of rounds in the direction of the hunters. The massive Dinosaur begins to move into the enclosure, as it gets further hungered by the disturbances created nearby.))

Diego: "Oh no, Hermano it's going to come through the gate! Andele, help….Someone changed the passwords! Hey, look at that notepad on the ground…maybe it has a clue."

Muldoon: "I'm aware of that Diego, don't rush me…..Hmmm Bloody…the actual radio frequency says 589.98 HZ….That must be the station to contact. Let me try it."

(((Muldoon punches the frequency into the Radio, which automatically stirs to life and announces a password.)) "TODAY'S PASSWORD FOR THE DECONTAMINATION CENTER IS: "NOBLE SQUAD." ((Surprisingly it works, as he enters it in the front door. Both doors swing open wide…and inside is a big surprise to both hunters. More than nine separate Incubation rooms…each one containing a possible link to the Dinosaur embryos they had heard so many stories about.)))

Muldoon: "Look at that….The assembled embryos in each chamber show case a clear example of Amalgamation in species….Which means an attempted mixture of species.."

Diego: "Yes, but which one is the correct species Hermano….It looks like each one is missing from its container right now. That must mean the embryos are outside the area."

A.I. VOICE: "ARNOLD, PLEASE APPROACH TO START DECONTAMINATION PROCESS. YOU CANNOT ENTER THE MAIN INCUBATION ROOMS WITHOUT GOING THROUGH DECONTAMINATION FIRST." (((The showers activate and begin to shoot out more than 10 liters of water, which cover the area and main passage. Both hunters are drenched in excess water and appropriate compounds to bring the residue down.)))

/Just then, Muldoon quietly enters through the decontamination passage as water sprays out and covers the hunting party. The next leg up is to enter the Incubation centers, and begin going through each room to find the samples. Generators quietly whir in the background, as the computer display roars to life with small test tubes scattered across each of the InGen desks. They are using integrated gene technology, which is the combination of various genomes together to create one species. Each time this is done it makes the current genre of Dinosaurs more sophisticated, and when it is to be done in order the only way to turn on the lighting chamber which warms the chamber is to turn on each of the Electric Turbines that line the room for the accelerator glyph. As Muldoon begins the process, he searches for a panel to repair the current Wind propeller that belongs to the geothermal power center. Unfortunately for the team, the only one which can successfully up link to the Radio broadcast and turn the power on is outside in Paddock 5…which is on the opposite side of the Acrocanthosaurus sector.*

Diego: "What is it, amigo?..."

Muldoon: "Oh, you mean is there a problem? No, no there's no problem…Just a hitch I ran into…Diego, you see the opening over there? That leads to Acrocanthosaurs paddock….And the only way to turn the Turbines back on, is to either sedate or neutralize the beast somehow. As you can tell, we need to turn on the bloody Turbines first in order...I've got one card key here...There's one other on the other side of the Paddock near the Jeep. Leave it to Hammond to give us an "Isolation" style theater on his stage.."

Diego: "I got it, Robert…So we need some type of distraction first I presume…"

Muldoon: "You got it…Step into the enclosure, and act like you're bloody there for feeding time….Hopefully we can get it to move out of the area slowly…Then run to the other side of the runway and into the shed to flip the switch….Also in the shed should be a Radio frequency to open the safe inside….And inside the safe is the Tyrannosaur's embryo genome, the one we need to take back indoors to destroy it plus delete the disk.."

Muldoon: "You up for this? It's not going to be a quick trip, should be straight forward."
Diego: "I'm as ready as I'll be amigo…"

*Diego and Muldoon quietly enter the East paddock and make a motion to move the cylinder conduit to the other side, which causes the Dinosaur to quickly move to the right side. A loud buzzing sound comes out of the Megaphone as the first part of the power station roars to life. This stirs the territorial Dinosaur to begin reacting to the commotion. Suddenly, Acrocanthosaurus bellows loudly and snaps its jaws around Diego's left leg, as it drags him to the north side of the paddock. Its mouth locks tightly around his ankle which makes it highly difficult to be mobile./

Diego: "Ahhhhhghhh…Muldoon, you better have a great plan pronto!"

Acrocanthosaurus: "RRAAAAAAAAWRR! GRWAAAARR ROAAAARRR!" ((The beast thrashes in the cool air of the green maze that surrounds the paddock. It recoils its head back all a sudden, and springs down chasing after Diego as it attempts to scoop him up in one fell swoop.))

Muldoon: "Take a moment to enjoy the scenery Diego….Almost done here!" ((Muldoon quickly springs to action, and takes out a two-barrel rocket launcher as he shoots both projectiles into the Dinosaur's boiling neck. The Acrocanthosaurus knocks off two of the large chamber houses above the canopy, forcing them to crash into the enormous Dome that's near the outside perimeter. As the Dome cracks in the middle, it begins to separate in 2 halves which come thundering down to the jungle floor.))

*Suddenly without warning, the towering tree between the Acrocanthosaurus and the upper habitat begins to split and falls over in a arching overture towards the massive dinosaur. It crushes the beast under its branches, and explodes in large puffs of smoke as the Acrocanthosaurus is properly sedated and brought to heel. The underbrush surrounding the outside territory and key foliage burst into a darkened mist as Muldoon runs forward and reaches the other side of the resource center./

Muldoon: "There it is, just like Roland said it would be…." ((Muldoon points to a large bronze switch, which is attached to the power conduits that dart along both sides of the walls. He strikes keys on the keyboard as the large computer panel comes to life, and a integrated gateway screen pops up. "Enter the correct image in the box to proceed to reboot the mainframe.")) "Bloody…Diego, this is a puzzle box rebooting sequence….Hammond must have originally set it up to protect the mainframe…" ((A series of 4 squares appear on screen, each with a number and power tube switch. He re-arranges the 4 icons, with the East power switch first….the West power switch coming 2nd…and the south power switch 3rd, with the north switch hitting last. This stands for the green active Relay switch as the power switches on and whirs to life.))

Diego: "You did it Hermano…Why do I not feel safe though?"

Muldoon: "Well, the key element is in these Radio broadcasts. If we turn on the right broadcast by tuning into the right station, the answer will quickly show up. On the other hand if we tune into the first radio station, it will dial into a voice-over. So part of this involves getting the sequence to precisely match and that way no time is wasted."

Diego: "I'm on it, amigo!"

*All a sudden, Diego turns the radio broadcast to station 489.50 in which they hear a familiar voice playing on the other end. Billy Brennan's Voice: "That was Isla Nublar, this is Isla Sorna. Site B. Dr. Grant has never been on this Island." Well that wasted all our time, Diego thinks. Muldoon grimaces and then proceeds to turn the channel./

*Meanwhile, standing just outside the clearing near the lakebed. A person strolls along the path and enters the area where the 2 towering trees overshadow the field. She goes past the perimeter of the fence and walks along the water's edge, where a slow audible hum can be heard. She cannot truly make out what is causing the noise, yet it Is quite loud and busy. The young woman takes off her long, dark jacket and relaxes by the water's edge to quietly wash her long red dreadlocks. The water is still and quiet, as it ripples outward near the noon day Sun. Claire Dearing begins to wash out her hair, but is stirred by the sound of rippling water crashing against the lakebed. It seems like something large is outside near the outskirts of the lake, but yet there is nothing visible./

Claire Dearing: "Hello?.*She exhales*...Who is there….What is that?"

*As the silence continues to permeate the lake, an audible growl can be caught in the distance./

*Camera zooms back in on Isla Sorna in the Jungle region, exactly 20 kilometers north of the lake. Muldoon and Diego continue to turn on the massive generator, as each of the power conduits roar back to life. There is an unsettling unease in the air, yet at that time no one has any clue what it points to./

Muldoon: "Here we go, Diego…" ((Muldoon switches stations to 199.99 FM. It shows a quick hologram pop up of Mr. DNA describing the type of projects that InGen does. The whirring sound clicks into place, unlocking the safe that's on the far side of the room under the Acrocanthosaurus paddock.))

Diego: "They won't ever have that in the park, I bet…"

Muldoon: "This isn't a park anyways, Diego…It's a nature preserve supposedly filled with the most articulate and gentle creatures on Earth. ((He grimaces.)) Provided you don't let a bunch of them be 'those raptors everyone & their brother wants to pet…."

*Both hunters have a quick chuckle about that issue and then continue into the Power Turbine rooms underground. They look at the cob-webs that are laced across each machine panel, and quietly study the instructions to the right to see how to bring each of the key components back online. By twisting the generator tab on the right 3 times, this should open up the outer canister so you can easily click in the individual power keys. The lever on the left also needs to be primed up and down to get the standby auxiliary to start humming for startup. Turning the knob in the middle will wind up each Turbine to click into place, and quietly begin powering up the tunnel array into position./

Robert Muldoon: "That should do it….Open sesame…"

Diego: "Great work, Roberto! Mucho gracias."

/Suddenly, a familiar face graces the hall. He is disheveled but open and ready to take on the world. Owen Grady is kind of chuckling to himself, watching the hunters work their magic. He has a very studious expression on his face, as curiosity has caught the itch on his nose by surprise.*

Owen Grady: "Open sesame, huh? Nothing to it? Whatcha guys up to?"

Muldoon: "Ahhh, Owen. I was wondering when we would run into you again. How are you? I was wondering where you ran off to after all the Dominion fallout. We're not doing much here, you might say it's a secret mission…You see, we need to get the panels up and running right now. As this is supposed to be the only way to find the Dino embryos...then, supposedly just like Roland told us….it should be just as easy as moving them into the Laser Red Light Micro machine and flipping the switch to blast them all into a thousand pieces. ((He chuckles.) And hopefully, be done with that grande problem."

Diego: "Mucho, grande problemo Robert…Mucho Grande!"

Owen: "Well, you do have a great way of putting that Robert….But I mean after what I was able to do with Blue, I don't think we should destroy them all. You know, with the right training…and with me working with them…Some of these Dinosaurs can really be of great benefit to society."

Muldoon: "Sure, Owen…Of course my friend. Keep that optimism…We'll all have it come in handy out here for certain. Isla Sorna is an atrium for large extinct beasts who simply don't get it about humans, nor do they care too much to try to figure it out."

Owen: "I'm just saying…..By the way I thought Roland had passed? How is he nowadays?"

Muldoon: "Ahh, yeah. Roland Tembo is still as strong as an Ox. He managed to grace the way of that pack of large Tyrannosaurs, and my gawd did it change that man. He no longer thinks about things in terms of metrics….He wishes to make his mark in the world, and that's all. To lead a long, prosperous life and get rid of those dangerous Dinosaurs from the mainland way before Global warming…"

Owen: "Oh yeah, I figured as much. I think we can all agree on that one. What's wrong girl? Do you smell something fishy?"

/Owen is pointing to Blue, who is now heavily sniffing the air and reacting in a fairly impulsive manner. Blue smells something outside, about 40 kilometers away….a large specimen of some type. The Raptor begins pacing back and forth with a certain un-ease…As neither Muldoon, Diego or Owen are quite aware of what is truly going on here.*

Blue: "RAAWWR! GROWWL! ROOOOARR! HISS ROOOAR!" ((Blue suddenly lights up like a Christmas tree, as something unsettling has certainly startled the creature. A thunderous roar is heard as a Baryonyx suddenly emerges from the lakebed nearby. Meanwhile, Claire is staring at the water…unaware of what sort of animal it is. Her fingers are trembling as they meet the water, while she continues to wash her hair.))

Claire Dearing: "Uhhh…Owen, I think we better move…And get out of here, if you found what was causing the power turbines to cause such a ruckus…"

Diego: "What is it? What is the problem….I don't see anything."

Chizo Baryonyx: "RAAWWWRR! ROOOOOOAR GRAAAAAARR!" ((Suddenly, the massive hybrid Baryonyx roars to life and emerges from the watery depths of the lake. It shatters the silent summer air, and maneuvers its massive tail into the threads of the shore. It strikes out in a rageful dance, tossing Claire into the air and onto the embankment near the landfall. Then the Baryonyx aims its jaws at Blue, and begins attacking the Dinosaur and trying to swallow Owen and Diego whole down its throat.))

Owen: "Oh Geez….Boy, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed or what?!" ((Owen gasps, as he rushes to the other side of the lake and attempts to avoid its massive jaws. Part of his leg gets caught in the mouth of the massive Baryonyx, as suddenly it pulls Owen underwater with it within moments. The Dinosaur thrashes with Owen in its mouth, and also reaches out and bites Diego taking out a large part of his knee. It splashes Claire, who makes a beeline for the jeep sitting about 10 kilometers away.))

Claire: "Owen! Hang on Owen, I got a major idea here…." ((Claire sprints to the jeep as fast as she can and scrambles for the keys, putting them in the ignition to quietly start the ascent. The massive slope of the river's shore continues to thump against the bottom and sides of the jeep. She plows the jeep down the river bed towards the lake, with small dinosaurs and animals flying in all directions.))

Diego: "Ahhh…..Roberto, help! Get me out of here, it's going to eat me left leg I think paco!"

Robert Muldoon: "Hold on Diego…..Oh Geezuz, bloody hell….There's a second one…"

Blue: "RAOOOOORR!" (Blue flies against the side of the second Chizo Baryonyx, which angrily bites down on the raptor's neck and starts to drag it underwater. Unfortunately for the 4 survivors, the Chizo Baryonyx is built like a boat. This means it can slide in and out of the water, or the swamp….very quickly due to its super sensitive hearing. The main enhanced feature which makes this Baryonyx so dangerous, is it can hear you breathe from under water and above water….And also has the capacity to glide over the water by long-jumping…which allows it to stay air-born for up to 4 minutes.))

((This variant of the Baryonyx has no sight, making it partly blind in its right eye. Yet it can hear you anywhere you travel to, no matter where you are….whether you are above ground or below ground. So, because of the terrible way Dr. Wu engineered this…..Regardless of where you run to, this version of the Baryonyx can hear where you are by way of your breathing…And it can find you, whether in the water or buried deep in the Earth. Which means that anyway you slice it, this Baryonyx is a real tough client.))

Chizo Baryonyx: "RRAAAAAAAAWRR! GRAAWWWRRR!" ((The second Baryonyx locks its jaws around Muldoon after tossing the raptor across the lake with its tail. It starts to lock its jaws all the way down Muldoon's right shoulder, causing him to scream out in agony. He quickly wriggles free of the Dinosaur and flies as fast as he can to the shore, locking onto it with his two-barreled electric cannon. Muldoon shoots it with a blinding laser blast, in which pieces of the arena fly off in all directions.))

Owen: "Owww….My god that hurt, what have you done!" ((Owen angrily responds by shooting his harpoon into the side of the Baryonyx. Suddenly, Claire's jeep crashes through the underbrush and into the massive Baryonyx, tipping it over backwards into the lake.))

Claire: "Owen! I came as soon as the jeep could catch up! Watch out…" ((She runs the jeep parallel to the lake, and shoves the giant Baryonyx Dinosaur into the lake so it stumbles backwards to fall in. She's pushing it into the lake, but the Baryonyx is fighting back….And all a sudden the Dinosaur's tail flips the Jeep on its side as it begins to fly air born over the water towards where Owen is standing.))

Owen: "Oh….That's not good at all.."

*The giant Baryonyx suddenly is right on top of Owen, as it booms loudly and crashes into the side of the riverbed. Huge sections of the river break off and fly in all directions, dislodging the soil which ruptures and falls into the water's outflow…..moving quickly downstream as it slowly glides across the water. Its enormous jaws come clamping down right above Owen and Diego, as it attempts to swallow both hunters whole by picking them up inside its mouth in mid-air./

Chizo Baryonyx: "RAAAOOOOARR! ROOOOOAR!"

Muldoon: "That's bloody it…I am done playing with you, you massive hell beast. Let him go! Now, time to chew on something of your own size for a change of pace!"

/At that moment, Muldoon springs upward and gets out of his survival pack the Rail gun cannon. He mounts it with proper power couplings on both sides, and aims it at the 2nd massive mobile Dinosaur. The gigantic Baryonyx suddenly falls backwards, stumbling to find its footing near the lakebed. It crashes into the giant rocks which stick out of the top of its surface, in a large open umbrella pattern. The Dinosaur is caught off guard by the rail gun blast, with large sections of its fin and its forearms blowing apart as it begins to retreat into the darkened abyss of the lake.*

Chizo Baryonyx: "ROOOOARR! GRAAWWRRRR! ROARRRR!" ((The massive Baryonyx then flips Muldoon into the air with its tail, attempting to stomp on Claire and toss the hunter into the lake. Its massive legs are beginning to give out under the strain of the multiple blasts from the Rail cannon. Muldoon then aims the rail gun towards the beast again, this time aiming directly towards the back of its head.))

Muldoon: "Take this, you monster of nature…" ((Muldoon shoots off the rail from both cylinders which plunge straight into the monster's massive jaws. It is shot from behind four times, causing the Baryonyx's head to explode in each direction…as it stumbles backward and falls directly into the massive lake where it will surely meet a watery grave.))

Owen: "Thanks Robert, I owe you my life on that one…" ((Owen scans the area for signs of the other beast.)

Claire: "I'm….I'm done with this Owen. This is too much, it was supposed to be a quiet evening." ((Claire loudly shouts as she stomps off in the other direction.)) "I'll meet you near the refueling station by the Water Tower….I thought we were here to study them a bit and then leave." She shouts.

Diego: "….Mucho gracias, Amigo!"

Muldoon: "Don't mention it. Now, listen up and listen good here. The communications to the Helipad is out, because the only power active right now is for the Wind Turbines. That gives us back up power for just under 4 hours. This means we can't contact the mainland, or find an Airplane to get out of here for a minimum of 6 hours. So we're stuck here for now, thanks to your little rendezvous and the Baryonyx.."

/Owen suddenly stands at attention, alert and ready to hear what the hunter has to say as he motions for Claire to quiet down for a moment.*

Muldoon: "So listen up, and listen well. We are stuck here, on the interior of Isla Sorna for now. There's a power generator about 100 kilometers from here, which will open the safe to find the Raptor embryos. We need to open all the embryo chambers first, just to be able to get rid of them all. We have about 4 hours to destroy the key embryos on this Island, after of which things get darker here….And other Dinosaurs will likely be scouting the perimeter of the Island. They'll be looking for other sources of food and water, which makes us the top item on the menu. That means you need to listen loud and clear, if you want to get off this Island alive during this little venture."

Diego: "Sounds about right to me! I will help you."

Owen: "You're the boss, Muldoon. Me and Blue will do what we can here…Yet I'll need to tell Claire of course. And…do you think maybe I can keep one of the key Dinosaurs?"

Robert Muldoon: "…Bloody….In this type of environment?! We'll talk about whether or not, someone can keep one of these Reptiles as a house pet much later on….First thing's first, that is we need to get each of the Wind Generators running…Turn on all the Power cores and restore Electric Power to the station east of here which lights up the Radio tower. That will get us closer to the water the fastest, so we can discover how to escape this Island and likely not return."

Diego: "And then…then we get rid of the Utah-raptor after Amigo? Then we go to Site C?"

Muldoon: "Then we bloody well get rid of the last Raptor, and travel to Site C to rescue the others Diego, yes…..If they made it out in one piece."

Claire: "What about me!? What am I supposed to do, there's no showers…."

Owen: "Claire, quiet for a moment! O.k champ I got it. It gives me a good idea here….Maybe if we power up the Radio tower, that'll allow us to contact someone important on the mainland…Someone who knows aquatic Dinosaurs the best if we can't reach Malcolm or Roland anyway…."

Muldoon: "Roland knows less about aquatic Dinosaurs than I do, compadre…But yes, that should allow us to do that and get help. Are you thinking of running into one of those beasts again?"

Owen: "Not quite….(He grins.) I'm thinking of doing a bit of diving to lure one of those large animals out…..And then at that point, maybe it could help the rest of us figure out Site C…)

Diego: "You want to capture….One of those fish eating reptiles, like the Mosasaurus?!"

Owen: "No, well….Not exactly…I want to use it as bait to catch a bigger fish."

Muldoon: "Oh, that explains it all then….Well as long as none of us need to run into anymore labs belonging to that ol' fossil John Hammond, at this point…I wouldn't care any less than I do now."

Claire: "I think I know what he's going to try to do.. (Claire smiles) Problem is, these prehistoric animals were extinct for more than 20 million years….What makes any of you think we'll have answers here?"

Blue: "RRRAAWWR! HISSGRAAAWWRRR!" ((Blue motions towards the plains that are 70 miles from the plateau. She appears to be very agitated by one of the key reptiles that wasn't discovered.))

Owen: "Good point, Blue….But a proper trap, and the proper bait….will definitely give us the type of Motorcycle trifecta we've been looking for…"

Muldoon: "Just what is your plan anyway, Steve Irwin? We've never been on this Island in our careers.."

Owen: "You haven't….But I was, I mean once…..A trap is a trap…And Dinosaurs like food just like we do. Heh, the nice part is once it works…We may have the answer for rescuing the others that we need here."

Muldoon: "I hope you're right about that….Alright folks, let's move out. Next destination is the Waterfall Terrace. It's supposed to be a Lagoon that hasn't been disturbed for decades….That is also where we find the Dinosaur embryos for Tylosaurus, one of the key underwater animals we got to dispose of. Look alive, folks. Let's get this train in motion."

*The face of Muldoon lights up as he steps forward in the glistening Sun, realizing the important leadership role he is undertaking. He stares at the scribbled notepad in his hands, which contain different Radio station frequencies. "Atlantic Shipping?..." he ponders aloud. What could it mean? There's no time to find out, as the larger Dinosaurs will be hunting soon. And they need to get both the Power restored, and the Turbines turned on…including the Underwater Turbine…within less than 4 hours if they are to leave off this Island alive. To top it off, they need to do it all before a storm hits./

/Camera pans out to the exterior of a large set of Incan ruins. Steingarten, Arby and Kelly quietly enter a chamber that has 2 channels of water running on both sides. There is chiseled land above each foyer, yet beneath the canopy is nothing but deep water. They both run along the side of 2 large aquatic tanks in the center of the chamber. This appears to be another puzzle room, and as the 3 emerge from the murky depths they hear the whirring of a large underwater Propeller. It is pumping huge vats of liquid back and forth, across a long, winding waterworks system. Little are they aware, that it is actually pumping oil and sediment through both sides of a cylindrical mixing center.*

Steingarten: "I hear the sound of that…What is that?...Oh my god, that is unbelievable…"

Kelly: "What, what's the issue?"

Steingarten: "This is a giant Oil compiling silo station. (He pauses.) My company…Biosyn, is turning these Dinosaurs and animals into Oil for fuel and power generation. I had no idea….."

Arby: "Huh? They're turning them into crude oil!?"

Steingarten: "Yes, that is correct…they are turning these Dinosaurs into fertilizer. Believe me, I didn't know the truth here….I thought we were only conducting experiments, to further our cancer cure research. See, Dodgson's big goal this whole time has been making a new species…"

Steingarten: "And after this species is created, he would combine it with the right ingredients….to construct a serum that would make humans age less. The ageless Miracle cure he would call it."

Steingarten: "….The Dinosaurs would be controlled, yet a lot of humans would…you know, be ageless as a result and no longer contract things like cancer or polio. That's what I thought….but this isn't that.."

Kelly: "You mean, this entire time…Biosyn has been doing nothing but a very badly run commercial for Mascara and Maybelline, and you thought this was a good idea in the end?!"

Kelly: "THAT is what you're telling me?!"

Arby: "Yeah, what gives Steingarten! I thought you said it benefits science….That it was going to benefit humanity and create a new breakthrough for science in New York."

Steingarten: "It does….but not in that way…I apologize to you kids, I uh…I stretched the truth. But I didn't know Biosyn was doing this, please believe me here. I didn't know my company was turning them into Oil products to fuel our power plants and nature preserves."

Arby: "But they are….So that hardly helps things now right!?"

Steingarten: "I didn't mean to lie to you….I swear, I was….in the dark about what Dodgson really meant when he said it would benefit all major science. But this is too much…I am astonished here…"

/Suddenly, the water trembles and ripples outward. A large, bellowing growl comes from beneath the surface. The 3 explorers stare out carefully scanning the area. A massive, shadowed head ripples beneath the waves and begins to come into view. It is none other than Dunkleosteus a massive ancient reptile fish from the Mesozoic era. Plainly drawn across the sides of the cavern walls, are murals of each of the fishes with one giant Shark-like specimen displayed in the middle. The Dunkleosteus is revered and highly esteemed by this ancient tribe, and in Incan tradition they always keep one for festivals./

/Appearing just on the surface, is a large tiger fin belonging to the massive aquatic fish. The Dunkleosteus begins to zoom back and forth in the water, beneath these huge Mesozoic era ruins. It ripples in and out, with them only able to see a tail feather at first sticking out of the water. Suddenly though as if out of a horror film, it crashes through this large rock structure under the ledge and yanks the hunter Steingarten beneath the waves…tearing off long sections of his right leg within its jaws./

Keso Dunkleosteus: "ROOOOOAR! RAAAWWR! GRRAAAR!" (((The hybrid Dunkleosteus is a slight variant of the regular, sail-backed fish which can swim in both pitch darkness as well as broad daylight. It is also able to swim at least twice as fast, and much like the Megalodon can capsize entire ships. The capabilities of this Dunkleosteus are heightened by the fact it can also burrow inside the tunnels like a giant Eel, and jump long distances beneath the water as well. In several novels including 20,000 leagues under the Sea, Arby remembers the fact that the Dunkleosteus can swim upside down and swallow giant sharks whole while it fights with beasts such as the Megalodon. It also has the capability of dodging large Octopus arms, and avoiding jellyfishes every single time with its spiny frills standing at attention.))

Keso Dunkleosteus: "RAAAWWRR!" ((It bellows loudly as it continues to clamp down on Steingarten's leg, as Bill attempts to writhe back and forth to wrestle himself free. Arby and Kelly dive under the water with the harpoon gun, to see if they can aim the sights properly and nail the massive shark-fish. *KABOOM* A large explosion takes out a third of the Dunkleosteus as it shoots back in the dark and opens its mouth wide to go head first for Arby who is swimming towards the tunnel.))

Arby: "Ahhhh! Kelly, it's got a hold of my foot!" ((Arby screams as the large reptile pulls on his foot and continues to try to drag Arby into the underwater cave thirty feet down.))

Kelly: "Arby, hold on!" (((Kelly dives down beneath the water, her dark moccasin arms dangling against the older rugged waves. She takes out the arc Pistol and loads it up with a right chamber explosive round. Kelly aims, steadies the laser sight on the massive fish and fires…..*KABOOM!* Whole sections of the fish creature suddenly fly off in all directions. A large part of the fish's jaws now come for her left thigh and attempt to drag Kelly under, when she realizes its time to get out of here. She summersaults downward 10 feet, and finds a hidden supply cache closet in the corner. She springs it open and grabs the signal flare, then shoots it straight into the mouth of the massive fish-like beast.)))

Keso Dunkleosteus: "RAAAWWRR! GRAAWWL!" ((It snarls and snaps, as it lets go of Arby and drags Steingarten in his wet suit into the Eastern air-pocket where it sounds like it is swallowing him alive. Kelly then aims and shoots another signal flare into its mouth, blasting it apart as it begins to lose steam in the middle of its swim. Suddenly a trap is triggered from the right side of the tank. It spears straight out into the water like a missile, going directly through the massive Dunkleosteus and destroying its fin. Both the kids believe that it is dead, yet it rears back and starts swimming for something sharp in the center of the underwater tank they are inside of.))

Steingarten: "Help…Oh my gawd…my leg.." ((Steingarten screams. Out of nowhere, the large cylindrical drum that pumps the Oil through the pipes of the Oil refining machine begins to erupt. It shoots out large pockets of Oil in each direction, turning the water into a murky darker color…Almost black in origin and substance. Both Kelly and Arby are shocked by the sight of the rotating gears, as water closes in around them & Oil pours in turning everything into a toxic liquid mess. They are barely able to breathe."

Arby: "What…are we going to do now?!" ((Arby franticly points at the water turning a dark black color….And the gears from the refining machine are spinning off, with one narrowly missing Arby's own neck and ricocheting off the side of the tank. It splinters in half, flying at top speed towards where Kelly was swimming and breaks open part of her wet diver's suit.))

Kelly: "Oh geez….This is crazy! That thing almost killed us, the Oil machine is shooting off in each direction…..I thought I heard Steingarten unless he was eaten. Quick, Arby follow me…..We have to get out of this room now! *Kelly points at the ceiling with the dark Oil beginning to fill the room up* We won't be able to breathe in here that much longer…"

Arby: "Gawwd…I think the Dunkleosteus swam deeper under the water….Hey, there's symbols here on the wall. It says "Those who light the path through darkness, will find the only route to the Shore." What could it mean? Arby thinks. Wait…I've got it. (Arby shouts) The torches in that huge mechanism at the basin of this Incan tower….it needs to have all 4 of the torches lit. With either this flashlight, or this fire torch I found in the supply cache." ((Arby takes out the torch and carefully makes a mad dash for the underwater structure…he has never done this before…yet remembers from watching Discovery channel, that you have to light the ones closest to the ceiling first for the underwater portion to work.))

*They, the torches glow eerily in the midnight sun that peers in from the large, circular portholes on the left and right side. Arby and Kelly swim in and out of a huge keyhole like opening in the structure that is towards the south side of the 2nd tank. The huge, grizzled and agitated Dunkleosteus begins swimming at top speed towards the large lanyard looking machine underwater…and Arby notices the faint glow of another head nearby. There is a 2nd one of those things in the tank now!? He moves fast, and zooms to the center of this tank bowl as fast as his scuba dive gear carries him. As Arby jets in and out of a hole, the massive prehistoric fish follows him…snapping at his heels like a great white shark./

Kelly: "Oh my…gawd….Arby watch out, it's right behind you!"

*The Dunkleosteus suddenly spears its huge head through the hole, narrowly missing Arby's legs. He swims around in a circle, looping back to the massive underwater trap and shoots down the East side cavern this time. Just like shooting down a giant water tube, he enters and exits the chamber. The huge prehistoric fish is right behind him at his heels, when it suddenly spins into the center of the mechanism. The massive structure shakes and rattles, as the huge fish is speared straight through by around 100 spikes that come shooting out from the walls. The structure, as Arby had guessed, was a giant Incan trap. And when he had led the massive fish through, it instantly activated the switch….killing the fish by shooting hundreds of spikes out of the walls. It would have never been killed had Arby not discovered this hidden trap. Arby then makes his way back to Kelly, who is franticly swimming away from the other Dunkleosteus who is now in hot pursuit. It snarls and takes out part of her ankle, while following the 2 novice swimmers back to the giant mechanism beneath the water that is much older than them both. Clearly there is only one way out of the basin of this tank, and it first involves the Dunkleosteus being removed from the equation. /

Arby: "Oh wow, it narrowly touched my feet…It's right behind me! Ahhhh!"

Kelly: "Hold on, Arby…I'm going to shoot it!" ((Kelly shouts as she arms the harpoon launcher. Taking a careful notice of the speed of the current, she aims the device directly at the Shark Fish's massive jaws. Within 3 minutes it will be launched like a harpoon straight through the stomach of the Dunkleosteus, as it blows large chunks of it apart and the entire chamber erupts in a chorus. Next, the Dunkleosteus swims as fast as it can towards the middle ventricle…which is the East side of the locking mechanism. Arby repeats his plan, and swims back through the keyhole on the other side…this time heading west. It works as suddenly the contraption roars to life, and catches the massive fish in its metal jaws of death.))

Keso Dunkleosteus: "RAAAAWWRRG! GRAAAWW!" ((It snaps angrily, while sawing the outside portion of the mechanism in half with its sharp jagged teeth. Then the trap jettisons a set of saw blades which sling out in each direction, slaying the beast once and for all….and cutting it into 100 pieces.))

Arby: "We did it Kelly! Quick, now that the torches are lit….That large cavern at the bottom down there just opened. Dive and follow me…that's got to be the only way to exit this death trap."

Kelly: "I see it!" (((Arby points to the third circular opening, that opens under the water ninety kilometers away from the device they were swimming around. The 2 explorers both swim as fast as they can for the exit…realizing this small 5 foot hole is the only way in and out of this particular arena.)))

/Meanwhile, Steingarten is left behind and presumed dead. A small, blurry frame of muscle mass moves beneath the waves and slowly approaches the surface. The water ripples out and quietly has its silence broken by a large stirring body breaking through the surface. Bill Steingarten is there, covered in scars…barely alive…as he drags himself and his wetsuit into a large hole 50 meters down. He has no idea where the hole leads, and closes his eyes as he forces himself through. It takes him a very hot, nearly boiling chamber…..More than 100 kilometers away from the room. In this room he can see a huge assortment of glowing yellow eyes, which dart back and forth across the veranda.*

Steingarten: "Oh no, bloody hell where am I! Those are….those are Troodons for sure.."

Genexis Troodon: "GROOOARR! HISSS..SNARRRL! ROAAWR!" ((The Troodons begin to maneuver around the room in a circle…..Staring at Steingarten with hungry baited breath, as they leap into the water one after the other…))

Steingarten: "Agggh!" ((Steingarten then rolls to the side to avoid the 2 Genexis Troodons who suddenly try to leap on top of him, and tear out large sections of his face and neck.))

Genexis Troodon: "GRAAAAWWRR! ROOOOAR!" ((It snaps its jaws right onto Steingarten's leg, and keeps gnawing in attempting to saw off part of his calves. It bites down hard, snapping and snarling as the 2 Troodons begin to float over the water and try to fly towards him diagonally across the river. They cut a hold of his tendon, which causes him to stumble back when he tries to walk.))

Steingarten: "No, no! Get away now! ((He shoots off 2 rocket projectiles towards the Troodons, blowing them backward into the red hot craters. They begin to get stuck in the sides of the cavern, unable to move as the temperature continues to rise.))

Steingarten: "That was close...This must be a melting pot room of some kind…There's all these gears moving around, and air is above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the interior…It must be where they melt these components together, and build new security machines or something.." ((He stares at the metal.))

/The huge, swirling cavern is full of extremely hot pits of Lava. It clearly looks like the inside of a Volcano that had gone dormant. Large predator drones and flying drones buzz in the backdrop, as what appear to be Dinosaurs are moved across these huge escalators that cross for hundreds of meters. They flow in both directions, making it appear to be some type of factory. A machine with keycards buzzes above Steingarten's head, yet he can't see anything. It is too dark to see what type of machine is processing these Dinosaurs. A tablet that has a lot of words written on it falls out into his hands./

Steingarten: "Shipping manifest…? What….Where am I? Could this be the secret chamber Dodgson always wondered about….The area where the machines for the CRAY are found?"

Steingarten: "This…this might be the same room Dodgson has been searching ages for. Why did he truly want the CRAY? Did he lie to me, when they all said...it was for cancer research…Wow…I am speechless."

/Camera zooms out of this large, cavernous chamber to the other side. The room spills out to an area where Kelly and Arby are presently located, attempting to find an answer to the puzzle.*

Arby: "Whoa, where are we?" ((He stares around at the large, crystalline covered cave. In the center of the room is a single terminal and along the sides of each end of the stair case are hidden key cards. They turn on the processing machine lying in the center. High above on the wall is a set of ancient letters that carefully transcribe a word. The word and phrase says "Genome Processing Center: Site C" They appear to now be inside a fully dormant "Genome" processing database, which is designed to process and filter the hybrid Dinosaurs. Somehow, they have ended up in one of Dr. Henry Wu's underground labs without knowing how. It is in this large, circular egg-like chamber where monstrous creations like the septio Spinosaurus and Indominus Rex were first designed.))

/Presumably, they were spliced together by locating specific gene biomes and patterns within mosquitos that come off Dinosaur DNA….But then they were clearly mixed in a large mixing-like bowl so they could perfectly blend the beasts into one specimen. In this particular case, the younger Spinosaurus as well as Xelius Plesiosaurus were probably merged together and designed here. Although this couldn't be the only Genome processing center, that's all Kelly and Arby knew. It was almost like a Frankenstein stage in the middle of Transylvania with how many lights, and beams were show cased across the rotunda. In each direction you looked, you could clearly see patterns for other possible Dinosaurs.*

Kelly: "Wow…I think we are inside a giant DNA processing factory of some kind! Hey Arby, check that terminal in the center of the room….Maybe it will provide more answers."

Arby: "You got it sis, something 'bout this place….Just seems off to me." ((Arby checks the front panel, and the computer prompt initiates an A.I. voice. "Welcome, Ray Arnold. Please enter the key card and type in your monitor's password here at the prompt:" Hmm….It needs a password. Well according to this tube looking thing near the right column, this is probably it. Arby types in "ATLANTIC REGINA." "Thank you Dr. Arnold, Access Has Been Granted. Proceed to view the Genome display window, and alert us if there are any further questions." Wow….this is complicated sis…."

Kelly: "How did you know the password?"

Arby: "Simple…It's because of what is written on this scribbled note pad." ((The pad's contents are revealed: 2 Packages left. Contact Regina at Atlantic Shipping to ship the parcel through the docks.))

Kelly: "Ok, you really are a genius…What's that thing, that is popping up in the viewfinder?"

Arby: "That…uhh….I have no idea.." ((Suddenly the viewfinder springs open, showing a large, curved cylinder. On the top of it are the words: "TOP SECRET: JURASSIC PARK SPECIMEN ZERO FOUR EIGHT. Enter label 03 to view the full contents. Welcome, Dr. Arnold. You have discovered: Cartographer's Genome. Are you interested in bringing this Dinosaur to life?")) Wow that was odd….I wonder what species of Dinosaur this is…..I've never seen anything out there like it before…."

/Quasi ancient native music begins playing in the background of the room.*

Arby: "I dunno Kelly, maybe we should get out of here…((Arby stares through the window at the specimen. It appears to be a typical pterosaur flying reptile, only it has the face of a fire-red Triceratops. The listed included genes for this Hybrid Dinosaur indicated are A) Part Triceratops, B) Part Pachycephalosaurus C) Part Spinosaurus egypticus D) Part Pterosaur E) Part Great White Shark. F) Part South American Sea Tortoise. Arby realizes this is a new species of Dinosaur that's not ever existed.))

Kelly: "What the….What is it? What prehistoric era does that come from.."

Arby: "I don't have a clue, yet don't wake it up…"

/Suddenly the large tank containing the massive hybrid pterosaur like animal shatters. The giant flying reptile breaks free, shrieking with a high pitched scream; as it silently aims its enormous horned head towards the platform the kids are standing on.*

Cartographer's Zylo-Pterosaur: "RRAAAWWR! SNAARRL! ROOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWAAARR!" ((The huge, roundly shaped Dinosaur begins to roar loudly as it swoops around the arena. It reaches out with its enormous horned head, and breaks the glass container they are standing within. It begins to swoop around the arena like a missile, firing off in each direction as it flies in the air making rapid whirring noises that shake the entire cave. Arby realizes the terrifying situation they are in, so he dives head first in his diving suit to go 90 kilometers below water to lose the creature. It of course doesn't work, as the massive Pterosaur flies directly underwater….trapping the 2 kids inside a closed off cave.))

Arby: "Oh my gawd, it was nice knowing you sis…This is crazy, that creature is right outside!"

Kelly: "Wow…Look at the huge claws this beast has, man I have no idea what we're going to do!"

Cartographer's Zylo-Pterosaur: "RAAAWWRR! GROOAWWRRR!" ((The dinosaur snaps its massive jaws shut to try to bite down on both kids, as electric shockwaves resonate across the chamber.))

/Camera pans out to the exterior of the Incan ruins, at least three screens out. You witness the huge Dinosaurs moving to and fro through the chambers, especially the Carnotaurus hybrid. Fade out to a quiet scene in Greenland. Both Anne Jones Carter and Sara Harding are back-stopped in the edge of a grove behind John Hammond's massive cabin./

Sara Harding: "So that's the key….Hammond is hiding part of the samples, to whatever that genome project is….And you said it's behind this Cabin?"

Anne Jones Carter: "No, Hammond is too studious for that…I bet it's directly beneath our feet. I think it's under the house in some sort of laboratory.."

/The pair of explorers are quietly strolling out down the road towards the jeep, when suddenly a very large hooting sound breaks their concentration. Something has followed them from the woods.*

Zeta Dilophosaurus: "HOOT! HISSSSSS! SPIIT! ROOOOOAAAWWRR!" ((The towering hybrid Dilophosaurus stands at least 10 feet in height, snarling and spitting in all directions towards the two of them. It growls with ferocious intensity, clearly intent on marking its prey and devouring it. Both Harding and Anne Carter know there will be no escape from this vicious Dinosaur as it begins to corner them on each side. A total of 2 Zeta Dilophosaurus', which are a slightly more vicious Hybrid version of the normal Dilo are following them no more than 4 paces behind.))

Anne Jones Carter: "Quick..! Harding, get behind that bush….I think I hear the other one creeping up on us. I have an idea. (((Anne shouts as she pulls back the trigger on her revolver. She takes 3 paces to the left and out into the clearing, while aiming the weapon directly at the incoming Dilophosaurus pair. Large hails of bullets rain down on both Dilos, as the one furthest away begins to corner Harding.)))

Sara Harding: "Ahhhh get it away! ((Harding dives behind a huge tree just in time. The massive pair of Dilos instantly begin hooting and jumping into the air behind them, spitting off large balls of venom quietly saturate both of their outfits. The black spitter venom covers each side of their legs, making it more difficult to walk and move through the long grass near the lodge. Suddenly Anne realizes the predicament they are in, and decides to dive-roll to the right to distract the pair of Dilos.))

Anne Jones Carter: "Hold on Sara, I told you this wasn't gonna be a stroll through the park!" ((She shouts, as Anne quietly flips off to the side and shoots both handguns at the Zeta Dilophosaurus who is flying through the air right at her. Huge explosions go off in a winding, wavy pattern *KABOOOM!* as all a sudden both Dilophosaurus blow apart in a wave of body appendages across the hillside.))

Anne Jones Carter: "Hang on Sara, we're not out of the woods yet…" ((She shouts, as she bolts it down the path and jumps in mid-air to shoot her Bola Snare bullets at the 2 Dilophosaurus' which had snuck up on them along the dirt covered path up ahead while the other pair exploded. Then, as if giving an answer to prophecy she stares up at the sky and brings out a bazooka 2 round launcher…firing off five rockets into both massive Dinosaurs. They are all destroyed except 1 final Dinosaur, which watches them from the field and decides not to approach.))

Sara Harding: "That was close….Man, those Dilo-saurs are getting especially vicious lately! Anything else Hammond kept a secret from us? What gives?"

Anne Jones Carter: "Oh, there's plenty more Sara…Try Dinosaurs that can spit balls of fire. Pretty unique, right? Anyway…if we aren't going to be stir-fried here…We need to get inside the secret science lab. Follow me and keep up." ((Anne whips out 2 key cards, and unlocks the computer terminal under the stairs. Suddenly the pair of them appear in a rectangle room with metal cages along the side. It appears to be a giant underground base of some sort. Dr. Harding approaches cautiously, looking through the glass at the young Spinosaurus looking animal with a curious look. Its tiny head bares its fangs and begins to stare right back at Sara and Anne, catching the pair off guard by surprise.))

Anne Jones Carter: "There, you see that Star Chart there on the wall? …That's part of the Map that John Hammond made of his entire Island and the lab. Right there, that's the Worker Village…And that's…"

Sara Harding: "I feel like I'm back at school here. What is that?"

Anne Jones Carter: "That's the Incubation center….A total of 7 embryos for the various Dinosaurs, with one rumored to be a type of ancient fish. It is where all the stories of the Megalodon come from. And so Hammond's lodge here, called the Composers Cabin…Contains a secret Incubation experiment site."

Anne Jones Carter: "That means, the Spinosaurus they were working on in the test tubes….Remember that Genome project InGen tried to cover up? Well, yeah…It didn't go anywhere…"

Anne Jones Carter: "The research has been ongoing this whole time, right underneath Hammond's own cabin in Greenland….It's been ongoing this whole time Sara, right beneath everyone else's noses…"

Sara Harding: "That's unbelievable….but the scientists and researchers from Green Peace.."

Anne Jones Carter: "It's been going on this whole time right underneath all their noses….No one knew….Just like no one knew about Site C…."

/Camera pans out for aerial view of the hunting lodge and Composers Cabin along with a hidden science center. The real Dark Secrets of Jurassic Park had been found…to be continued./
