Chapter 5: Pillow Problems

Saitama's Apartment*

Saitama scratched the wig that was still on his head as he looked in the mirror. He knew it was stupid but he actually liked seeing his old self again, that doctor Fusheno or whatever really had worked wonders. He couldn't even tell the difference between real hair and this.

"Oi! Genos," Saitama called from the bathroom.

"Hai sensei?" the blonde cyborg called back.

"You don't think I was too rough on Tatsubaki?"

"You mean the Tornado of Terror? No, not at all, she was a stubborn brat and you simply rejected her bullying, not many people can. No one can compare to your strength. That is why I am your disciple. To learn. And grow. I need to become…"

"Yeah yeah, thanks Genos." Saitama said. Geez, why do I ask him anything?

As he stewed over it though Saiatma couldn't help that small bit of guilt over what happened, it was awkward leaving Fubuki's party like that and everything. He didn't want Fubuki pissed at him, right?

With his mind made up Saitama changed into some casual clothes and decided to head out, as he was leaving though Genos called out to him, "Sensei! You are still wearing the Halloween wig."

Saitama turned around, showing a bit of embarrassment, "Oh am I? I forgot. Well it's a bit cold out so I'll just keep wearing it, to keep my, er, head warm." Before Genos could reply with some stupid logic about it being a nice day and the temperature being no different than normal, Saitama closed the door and made his escape.

"Whew! Ok off to the headquarters, thingy, where I think Fubuki's sister is."

The Blizzard Headquarters*

Fubuki was anxiously looking at her phone as she rocked back and forth on her couch. She was expecting a call from her sister, and it had never been this long that Tats wouldn't call after an event. She felt bad, she knew Saitama had embarrassed Tats but honestly, she kind of deserved it. It's just that no one had ever been around before that could stand up to her sister.

It was kind of awesome though. Fubuki thought, Saitama walked through my sister's attack like it wasn't even there. I knew he was strong but geez, what kind of monster is that man?" Fubuki's cheeks reddened a bit as she thought of Saitama in his ripped tank top at the party, then another thought came into her mind and she snorted with laughter, "What kind of idiot is he? Stronger than my sister and barely moving up in the hero classes at all?"

Just then a knock at the door made Fubuki jump out of her seat with a shriek, momentarily catching herself with her ESP powers.

Lily had opened the door at Lady Fubuki's shriek, "Ma'am, is everything alright?"

Fubuki nodded, "Yes, yes, everything's fine I was just staring at this phone waiting for Tatsumaki to call and she hasn't and I was thinking about the Halloween drama and then you knocked and I panicked…and…whew it's just a lot."

Lily nodded, "It was fun though, especially Genos. He had such a great costume." the young girl said with a dreamy expression. Her face then turned serious, "I hope Caped Baldy is still alive, I'm surprised your sister hasn't hunted him down by now."

Fubuki held her chin in thought, Lily had a point, it wouldn't take long for Tat's embarrassment to turn to ire towards Saitama, "Ah screw this, I'm just going to go see her before something bad happens." With a determined look in her eyes the Blizzard of Hell got up and headed straight for the door, not even asking her bodyguards to accompany her, usually it was best that she went alone to see Tats.

Hero Headquarters*

Fubuki made her way along the halls, navigating to her sister's room. Along the way she saw multiple people leaving the area with headaches. She wondered why until she got closer to her sister's room and started to feel pulses of energy coming from all directions. Fubuki gripped her head in pain and had to put up a small forcefield to block the mental assault.

Finally, she made it through the mental bombardment and knocked on her sister's door, "Tats? It's me, Fubuki." All of a sudden the mental waves stopped, then silence. Fubuki grimaced as she kept going, "Can I come in?" Nothing, "Ok I'm coming in now."

As she entered her sister's room she was treated to a sight she never thought she'd see. Tats was curled up in a blanket on the couch and crying.

"Go away," Tatsumaki said in a sad voice.

"Oh, sister!" Fubuki said, "C'mon, it's ok, what's wrong. Don't worry, no one thinks you embarrassed yourself at the party."

Tatsmumaki shot up on the couch, "They do! I was just sad that a nobody hit me with a pillow, now your groupies think I embarrassed myself!" With a little moan she began crying even louder.

Despite it, Fubuki had to keep from laughing, she had never seen her sister act this way, and it was the first time she hadn't felt so…intimidated by her, "To be fair Tats, you were being a little rude to the guests."
In an instant Tatsumaki's sadness was replaced by haughty anger, "Oh excuse me! Your guests are barely heroes at all. And who was that guy anyway! I thought you only hung out with losers! I bet he's a loser too, just a strong, dumb loser with nice hair!"

They hadn't realized that Fubuki had left the door open but a knock at the door made Fubuki turn to see Saiatma at the entrance as Tatsumaki still continued her rant, "...He looked like a deadbeat too, that tracksuit was pretty stupid too! Probably got it at the homeless shelter. I swear 'buki you don't need to be hanging out with big dumbdumbs like that moron. I bet if I ever see him again I…EEP!" Tatsumaki froze as she turned and saw Saitama in the doorway, wearing an expression halfway between a smirk and a frown. It was hard to tell if he was amused or offended, maybe a bit of both.

Tatsumaki had gone white with a bit of fear and flown behind the couch. With another second though she remembered who she was and floated up angrily to yell at the man, "What the HELL are you doing here! Come to humiliate me again?"

Saitama frowned, "No…I just came to say sorry I hurt your childish feelings the other day…so…sorry."

Tatsumaki was flabbergasted, "That's your apology?!"

"...Yeah…?"

The small ESPer glowed in rage, "How dare you intrude on my sister and I just to give a half-brained apology I oughta….!"

"Hey you manic twelve year old, relax ok!" Saitama said with some heat in his voice.

Fubuki sat in the middle, not knowing what to do, but as the voices between Saitama and her sister grew louder she could only think of one thing.

"And don't think I've forgotten about what you owe me for my track suit, I expect…MMMHMP!" Saitama was interrupted mid-sentence as Fubuki hurled a couch pillow at him and hit him square in the face.

"There!" Fubuki said, "Now he's been hit with a pillow too, now you're even."

"Fubuki, what the hell was that? I'm trying to converse with this little green crybaby…." *WOOOOMPH!* Saitama began to protest the pillow to his face when suddenly another pillow struck him at something a little past mach 20. An explosion of feathers filled the room and part of the door behind Saitama was destroyed from the pillow that had been obliterated on Saitama (who was now also covered head to toe in smoking feathers).

"Now, we're even." Tatsumaki said as she laughed at her handiwork.

Saitama's eye twitched in annoyance and while Fubuki tried to hold in her laughter pretty soon she was doubled over in mirth as well.

He wanted to be angry, he really did, but even Saitama began to chuckle as he watched Fubuki giggle on the couch."I may have deserved…some of that." He said with a smile, "But you still owe me for my tracksuit top!"

Tatsumaki huffed in annoyance, "Fine, here!" She said as she threw a small stack of yen at the man.

Saitama was a bit surprised at the money, "O…k. Thanks, that was easy."

"Anything for you Chicken man!" Tatsumaki mocked, gesturing to the feathers that still covered Saitama.

"Ha ha…very funny. Where's another pillow? It's my turn to throw a serious one." The girls both got a small look of fear in their eyes at Saitama's words but he waved them off, "Just kidding, gotcha." He joked lightly.

Fubuki smiled at him with an eye roll but Tatsumaki was red in the face again, "No you didn't! Screw you!"

Now it was Saitama's turn to laugh, "Alright, I'll leave you girls now. Thanks for clearing the air…by filling it with feathers haha. Bye Fubuki. Bye you little green devil."

He left them with a small smile and Fubuki noticed that her sister had the same anger on her face but also something else, was that…a slight blush? She didn't know why, but she couldn't help the feelings of jealousy that once again showed up. Maybe it was cuz he still had that stupid hot wig on…yeah that must be it. She thought to herself. Whatever the case, at least the danger of her sister had passed smoothly. Who would've thought that all you needed was a few pillows.
