Starts at the end of Book 3, Episode 10: Day of the Black Sun and follows the TV series to the end from Zuko's perspective. I've always felt like Aang's firebending training was rushed and cut too short. We also don't get any of the inner turmoil Zuko must be going through with leaving everything behind, so this is my retelling of the second half of season 3.

As the eldest son of the chieftain he was tasked with protecting the village & his younger siblings Sokka & Katara. After their mother's death too much changed. To keep his remaining family safe he had to close off his heart and train relentlessly. The Avatar wasn't coming back. Or at least, that's what Ayaan thought, until a bald kid with blue arrows showed up.

Kataras rejection hits Aang harder than any battle he has ever fought. This prompts him to seek a new destiny in which he strays away from her. Only then does Katara realize her mistake. They try to move on from each other as the years pass. After 3 years of being apart, a reunion is in sight but how will Katara react to a new love interest in Aangs life?

The 3 surviving nations lived together in harmony after the war ended. But all that changed when the Red Lotus rose to power when the Gaang least expected it. Follow Aang as he and his friends take the fight to them before they fulfill their 110 year old plan and win. Observe as they ally with new and old friends, and discover horrific ghosts and revelations of Aang and Zukos past.

In a world where the Avatar wasn't found, the Fire Nation took over two nations and they strive to overcome the last one. Water Tribe warrior Sokka seeks to fight for his people's rights, but he's captured by his enemies. His life is no longer in his hands as he fights as a Gladiator, and his fate will eventually depend on the Fire Nation Princess, who needs him for her own ends...
