Hello everyone. Here is my first Zootopia story. I hope that you will enjoy it. :)

Disclaimer: Zootopia and it's characters belong to Disney, but Judy Hopp's OC Uncle is entirely my own.

It is a bright sunny day in countryside community of Bunnyburrow, where a young female Rabbit is busy performing a play. She is being watched by an audience, which involves her family consisting of her parents, siblings and a proud smiling uncle in the front row. The uncle is a 29 year-old Rabbit, who is lithe build along with having a round face with light brown eyes as well as Brown fur with lighter shade on his underbelly. It extends up to his muzzle and paws, he also has long attentive ears.

He is a European Rabbit like the parents and rest of his whole family, he is wearing a dark brown tweed suit with a light red tie. He wears a dark brown Fedora hat, which he'd gently placed upon his head as he continues to sit comfortably in his seat in front of the stage. He is sitting next to his older brother Stu, who is joined by his sister-in-law and his wife Bonnie with Stu holding up a cam recorder to record the play happening in front of them.

While he is sitting watching the play with his brother and sister-in-law, he has a young female rabbit sitting happily on his lap. He holds her tenderly in his two arms, they are currently enjoying what they are seeing on the stage as they both look forward to what comes next. He places a gentle kiss to her head, before he turns to look lovingly at his wife with the two exchanging looks of love before sharing a kiss until they return their attention to the stage.

His wife is a female European Rabbit with Grey fur with a darker shade, she has blue eyes along with having tall attentive ears. She wears a light brown trench-coat, including a dark purple shirt along with light blue jeans with a light brown Bowler hat gently placed on her head. She silently giggles at her husband, who shares the moment until they watch the lights turn dark until the uncle's niece makes her long-awaited appearance in the talent show itself.

Young Judy Hopps: [initially hushed, her voice gradually increasing in volume] "Fear, treachery, blood lust. Thousands of years ago, these were the forces that ruled our world. A world where prey were scared of predators. And predators had an uncontrollable, biological urge to maim and maul, and-".

[The rabbit drinks from the water hole, notices, and turns around just when the tiger pounces towards it. Cut to reality. It is revealed that the "jungle" is really a stage in an auditorium, and as for the hunting, Jaguar, in a tiger costume, is pretending to pounce on a young Judy Hopps, who is wearing gray and white clothes that match her fur.]

Young Judy Hopps: "Ahh! [she draws out long, red ribbons from her costume] Blood, blood, blood! [Judy falls on her back, making choking noises. She reaches for a hidden ketchup bottle and, while still laying on her back, places it upright under her arm and squeezes its contents all over her body while pretending to convulse.] And... death!".

[Judy squeezes the bottle one last time, much to the horror and disgust of the audience and her parents, Bonnie and Stu Hopps, the latter of whom is recording the play with a camcorder with his mouth agape, and the former, who is facepalming. Bobby Catmull bangs dramatically on a timpani drum. Judy stands up.]

Young Judy Hopps: "Back then, the world was divided in two - vicious predators [Jaguar hisses] and meek prey. [Judy gives an innocent look as her ears droop. Boxes, labeled "Viscous [sic] Predator" and "Meek Prey" lower down and cover them. The "sc" in "Viscous" is crossed out and replaced with "ci," proving it was corrected to being spelled "vicious." Bobby plays bass notes on the hammered dulcimer heavily, then plays a light harp glissando, when Sharla the sheep in white robe-like clothing tosses confetti from a basket over the bags and prances around.] But over time, we evolved and looked beyond our primitive savage ways. [The boxes pull up and Judy and Jaguar are in white robes as well. Sharla pops a noisemaker and Judy and Jaguar hold paws] Now, predator and prey live in harmony and every young mammal has multitudinous opportunities."

Sharla: "Yeah, I don't have to cower in a herd anymore. [takes off white clothing, revealing an astronaut outfit and puts on a helmet] Instead, I can be an astronaut!" [The crowd applauds as Bobby plays a slide whistle indicating alien music.]

Jaguar: [slightly monotone from nervousness] "I don't have to be a lonely hunter anymore. [takes off robe-clothing, revealing a nice suit and tie, and takes out a pen, his voice becomes more confident.] Today, I can hunt for tax exemptions; I'm gonna be an actuary!". [The crowd applauds again as Bobby plays the piano.]

Young Judy Hopps: "And I can make the world a better place, I am going to be... [Bobby turns on a radio and moves his head side to side with the beat of the police music that is heard, and Judy tears off the clothing revealing a police officer's uniform] ...a police officer!".

[Bonnie and Stu look shocked and glance at each other in worry. Some of the smaller rabbits are clapping.]

The uncle smiles at his niece's desire to be a Police Officer, which earns him incredulous looks from Bonnie and Stu. He briefly becomes confused by this, until he soon realizes they are surprised by the fact he is actually supporting Judy's hopes of achieving her heart's desire. The silent argument is broken, when he hears the sound of cruel laughter coming from a male fox in dark blue overalls mocking the idea of a bunny being a Police Officer.

Young Gideon Grey: [laughs and slaps his knee, nudging Travis, who is eating peanuts] "Bunny cop! That is the most stupidest thing I ever heard."

Young Judy Hopps: [puts on a police officer's hat] "It may seem impossible to small minds - I'm looking at you, Gideon Grey - [Gideon glares at her; the jungle backdrop curtain on the stage rises, revealing a colorful painted mural of Zootopia behind it. Sharla and Jaguar hold up a banner reading "where anyone can be anything"; Bobby plays the piano in the background.] ...but, just two-hundred and eleven miles away stands the great city of Zootopia, where our ancestors first joined together in peace and declared that anyone can be anything! [Judy bows. Bobby plays the final notes on a keyboard and turns to the audience with a grin. The audience applauds. Stu closes the camcorder and he and Bonnie look at each other in concern] Thank you and good night!."

The Uncle claps loudly along with the rest of the audience, before he picks up the young female rabbit in his arms. He is quickly spotted by Judy from the stage, who has a big smile on her face as she waves at him until she quickly leaves the stage in order to see her family. Her uncle smiles at his niece, before his wife grabs his attention in hopes of telling him something important as he listens to his wife until he nods his head in understanding.

The couple share a loving passionate kiss between them, before they slowly disconnected their lips from each other. After letting go of their brief passionate kiss, his wife now gently takes the young female rabbit from his arms as the uncle places a small kiss on her forehead. While watching them leave, his attention is caught by the sound of Travis laughing along with Gideon about something until they too make their way out of the talent show tent.

The mere sight of them causes the uncle to roll his eyes, knowing he always finds himself in situations involving them. It wasn't exactly the first time either, due to the fact he had refused to let them hurt his niece until they forced his paw by trying to attack him together. Unfortunately for Gideon and Travis, Judy's uncle manages to defeat them by remaining on the defensive in their fight until he skillfully got the two bullies to knock each other out.

He shakes his head at the memory of that important event, knowing Gideon and Travis aren't the smartest pair of kids. He constantly keeps a close eye on them, so he makes sure to keep them out of anymore trouble than they have got themselves into in the past already. Today was a surprising day for him, due to the fact the duo have manage to stay out of trouble for the most part although the uncle is fully aware of them getting into more mischief.

Despite keeping a close on them ever since that incident, the uncle turns round to see Judy making her way towards him. She runs at him with a lot of speed, though he does catch her in his arms as they share a hug together while he takes the time to briefly spin her around. When they stopped spinning, he gently puts her back down with her feet on the ground as they hold each other's paws all the while taking the time to share bright smiles of happiness.

"I'm glad you was able to come and see this, uncle Josh!" Judy said, smiling warmly at her uncle. "I was worried, that you wouldn't be able to come see it".

"It's ok Judy, I'm glad that I was able to come see all of it" Josh said, returning the smile. "Also, a Police Officer?, you're sure you're up for it, kiddo?".

"You bet I am, Uncle Josh."

"I'm glad to hear that, Judy."

"I'm going to make the world a better place, for both Predators and Prey, I just know it."

"I'm sure you will, kiddo, if anyone can do it, it's you Judy!" Josh said, he tenderly strokes his niece's paws. "Plus, your aunt Ellie decided to take Susie home early."

"I understand, Uncle Josh, I'm just happy she is here too" Judy said, she hugs her uncle for a second time. "I'm happy that you all came, that's all I care about."

"Thank you, Judy, we are really happy to see you say that" Josh said, reciprocating the hug with his niece. "Plus, I think your mom and dad want to see you too, Judy."

Judy, at the mere mention of her parents, spots them before rushing over to hug both of them with the two reciprocating it. When they have finished hugging, all three of the bunnies held paws as they begin to follow the crowd towards the entrance/exit of the stage tent. While Judy is skipping with joy, her parents are looking at each other in deep concern at the thought of their daughter becoming a Police Officer with the thought only scaring them more.

Well, well, well, Judy wants to be a Police Officer and her parents are concerned about it. It's clear parents and child will need to discuss some things.

Also, I have decided to give Judy an uncle in this story, considering we didn't get much of her Uncle Terry. The Uncle she has in this story, he is an Indiana Jones like character with the attire and cover job though the main difference between the two is their personality. Plus since we all know the movie is about Judy and her journey, this story will focus on her uncle's side of that story in the film as he too investigates the missing Predators case.

I'll try to make sure that the characters connect with each other, though there will be a few OC's in this story. The main story involving Josh Hopps, that will start after Judy goes to Zootopia with this story's events kicking off from there. Also I realized there was an issue in making my OC the brother of Bonnie, it has to do with the fact they wouldn't share the same surname after Bonnie married Stu. So I have decided, that Josh Hopps will be Stu's brother instead.

I hope you all enjoyed this first chapter :)
