Chapter 3: Colors Rising
Nighttime
(It starts at a prison outside of Tarabiscoville where the Red, Green and Blue bandits inside a cell sleeping on their own bunks with a prison guard patrolling the halls, but when the prison guard passed the bandits' cell, the Red Bandit opened one of his eyes showing he was pretending to sleep, he then stood up and looked out the window to see a truck stopping next to the wall below the cell. Without warning, a harpoon gun rose out of the back of the truck and aimed at the cell window the Red Bandit is looking out from and shot a stick of dynamite at the window, below it and stuck it on with glue that looked yellow, the Red Bandit slowly moved back a bit then laid back down on his bunk and closed his eyes to pretend to sleep as a prison guard came over, but when the guard did, the dynamite blew up knocking down the wall with one of the bricks hitting the guard in the head, knocking him out as the Green and Blue bandits woke up in fright from it and looked to see the wall is down while the Red Bandit got back up and looked out the hole, happy to see their free.)
"We got our escape boys!" the Red Bandit said
(Just then, a metal harpoon flew in and grappled onto the cell bars locking it in place, the three bandits then grabbed the pillows and used the covering to slide down the rope and safely onto the ground. The three bandits then ran towards the truck and climbed in as the harpoon gun detached the rope and descended back into the back of the truck, after that, the truck drove off as the prison guards came out too late to catch them. Inside the truck, the Red, Green and Blue bandits were laughing at the guards' failed attempt to stop them.)
"We actually got away." the Green Bandit said
"They didn't even expect it, we didn't expect it either though." the Blue Bandit said
"Don't ruin the moment boys, but our escape wouldn't have happened without the escape artist here." the Red Bandit said (moves a divider over revealing a masked female adult with the same design as the other three bandits, but yellow.)
"Call me the Yellow Bandit." the Yellow Bandit said
"Wow, that escape plan you did was awesome." the Green Bandit said
"Each of us has a skill." the Blue Bandit said
"Hey, maybe you can join us to steal some things and sell them for money." the Red Bandit said
"That's small time bandit stuff, the team I'm with is much more." the Yellow Bandit said
"Super stealing?" the Green Bandit asked
"I don't think that's what she's thinking." the Blue Bandit said
"That's right, the team I'm with do more than that." the Yellow Bandit said
"As in super rich missions?" the Red Bandit asked
"Oh, ultra stealing." the Green Bandit asked
"NO!" the Red, Yellow and Blue Bandits shouted (causes the Green Bandit to sit back in fright from their yell.)
"The team I'm with have certain equipment that works for each of us." the Yellow Bandit said
"Equipment?" the Blue Bandit asked
"What kind of equipment?" the Red Bandit asked
(looks at a divider behind him and moves it to see some weaponry in the back of the truck.) I think she means this." the Green Bandit said
(The Red and Blue Bandits look back to see what the Green Bandit was talking about and saw what the Yellow Bandit meant about equipment.)
Daytime
(Later, Amaya was walking down the sidewalk looking over the pages of her notebook about the things she encountered from when she first got the Owlarion book as Connor and Greg were walking next to her while looking at them as well.)
"That new power of yours will come in handy for nighttime missions." Connor said
"Yeah, the nighttime villains will have to watchout when they come across your Super Owl Screech." Greg said
"That they would, but I'm only gonna use my Owlarion powers for emergencies, it wouldn't be right if I misuse them." Amaya said
"That's probably right, you'll need practice to control it and any other powers you find." Connor said
(The three continue on until they reach the school where they see Ivan in his wheelchair looking through the closed gate with a sad look on his face.)
"Hey Ivan, is something wrong?" Amaya asked
"The school is closed." (points at the school for Amaya, Connor and Greg to see the school was covered in a bunch of paint.) "The police came earlier today and said it was done by some bandits with colorful clothes." Ivan said
"The bandits from the night I faced them? You mean they escaped from prison?" Amaya asked
"You know them?" Greg asked
"She stopped them from stealing the Owlarion book in which she now holds." Connor said
(covers Connor's mouth in panic. whispers.) "You know!?" Amaya asked in panic
(moves Amaya's hands off.) "Yeah, I saw you hold the book in your hands without trying." Connor said
"Whoa! It's like you're stronger than me." Greg said
"That was only with the book, I haven't found anything about Owlarions having the ability of strength yet." Amaya said
"I was wondering how you did that screech." Ivan said
"Yeah, but I'll be practicing it before I can actually use it. PJ Masks, we're on our way." Amaya said (holds her fist out for Connor, Greg and Ivan to hold theirs against hers.)
"Into the night, to save the day!" Amaya, Connor, Greg and Ivan said
Nighttime
(Later that night, Owlette flew to the school with An Yu and Lilyfay following behind until they landed close to the playground.)
"Keep your eyes open, criminals always return to the scene of the crime." Owlette said
"Many villains do that." An Yu said
"How would you know that though?" Lilyfay asked
"The villains we faced before we found out about my kind do this sort of thing all the time." Owlette said
(appears from a puff of smoke on top of the playground set with the Blue and Green bandits next to him.) "You got that right." the Red Bandit said
(steps forward as An Yu and Lilyfay jumped in fright.) "I knew you three would be here." Owlette said
"Three you say?" (counts Blue, Green and himself and pretends not to know about something.) "Oh yeah, guess that means it's an even battle." the Red Bandit said
"I sense something off about them." An Yu said
"Me too, what are you bandits planning?" Owlette asked
"It's something really special." the Green Bandit said
"And very tough." the Blue Bandit said
"But we'll let our new friend tell you about it." the Red Bandit said
"New friend?" Lilyfay asked
"Thank you," (startles Owlette, An Yu and Lilyfay from behind.) "I heard all about you, and so a team was formed, with each of us having certain…" (extends her arm forward for a metal bo-staff to extend from her hand and twirl it around in a fighting stance.) "abilities." the Yellow Bandit said
"The first three I fought only had a dagger, sword and gun." Owlette said
"Not this time!" (jumps down from the playground set and holds his arms out for a plasma blade to form in both hands and begins swinging them at the heroes until Lilyfay blasted a star blast at him and started chasing after her.) "Come here you!" the Green Bandit said
"That's not like the first time you encountered them, is it?" An Yu asked (jumps back a bit from the Yellow Bandit swinging her bo-staff at her and begins dueling her.)
"This is new to me as well!" Owlette said
"Now then, which one of us should face her?" the Red Bandit asked
"Why don't I handle her first, your's can be a surprise." the Blue Bandit said (jumps down with his arms stretched out for a foldable sword to form in one hand and shield to form in the other.)
"Definitely new to me!" Owlette said
"Take this!" the Blue Bandit said
(The Blue Bandit began to swing his sword at Owlette as she dodged it until she flew into the air to get away, but without warning, the Blue Bandit tapped his feet together for flames to appear under them revealing to be jet boots and flew after Owlette. The battle between the two groups went on for a few minutes until Owlette used her Owl Wing Wind on the Blue Bandit, knocking him towards the ground and into the Yellow and Green bandits, saving An Yu and Lilyfay in the nick of time. But when Owlette was about to fly back to the ground only to be hit by an electric shock and fell to the ground, breaking a school picnic table in the process as An Yu and Lilyfay were shocked from what happened until they heard the Red Bandit laughing and saw he was holding a rifle with electric shots.)
"You were right, Yellow. This equipment works well, not even the Owlarion princess can hold against them." the Red Bandit said
"That is what they are meant for." the Yellow Bandit said
(Struggles to stand up) "A Yellow Bandit?" Owlette asked
"Oops, we forgot to introduce Yellow to her." the Green Bandit said
"We've been over this, we don't always start a battle with an introduction." the Blue Bandit said
"My parents told me to be nice when it comes to introducing someone." the Green Bandit said
"That explains the photos and positive attitude." the Red Bandit said
"We will make sure you go back to jail." An Yu said
"How did you guys even escape?" Lilyfay asked
"That would be me, you see the team I'm part of is bigger than you think." the Yellow Bandit said
(stands back up and struggles to keep her stance.) "If you think we'll let you get away with painting all over the school, you have another thing coming." Owlette said (groans and falls to her knees causing An Yu and Lilyfay to run over to her in panic.)
"Wow! These weapons are stronger than they look!" the Green Bandit said
"That is because they are strong enough to fight an Owlarion, even the princess herself." the Yellow Bandit said
"Just that one blast was able to knock her onto her knees." the Blue Bandit said
"And that leaves us the chance to do some dirty deeds." the Green Bandit said
"There's the Green we know." the Red Bandit said
"And it's the right time for a job, we are to head to the museum and take as a base and collect every valuable item in there and sell them for millions of dollars, or should I say, billions?" the Yellow Bandit asked (turns the Red, Blue and Green bandits while saying it to see the look on their faces.)
"Now you're speaking our language, the Color Bandits are in business!" the Red Bandit said
(The Color Bandits then left the school and headed for the museum as An Yu and Lilyfay helped Owlette back onto her feet.)
"This isn't good, with those weapons, they could take on the whole team." An Yu said
"I don't know how it would get worse." Lilyfay said
"I think I know." (stumbles a bit, groaning.) "With those weapons, they can take on the whole police force of the city." Owlette said
"How are we gonna take on the Color Bandits without exposing ourselves to the police?" An Yu asked
"We don't have to worry about that." Owlette said
"What do you mean?" Lilyfay asked
"Cause it's time to be a hero." Owlette said
(At the museum, the Color Bandits were looking through the building to find anything very valuable, the Red and Yellow Bandits were looking in the space exhibit while the Blue and Green Bandits were looking in the Egypt exhibit, the Blue Bandit was checking out the vases until he heard a "whooping" sound and saw the Green Bandit on the back of the Sphinx statue.)
"Green! Get down from there! We're suppose to find valuable items in the museum! Not to mess around!" the Blue Bandit shouted
"But look at it, it's very valuable!" the Green Bandit said
"Not if you're on it!" the Blue Bandit said
"Oh, sorry." the Green Bandit said (moves back a bit to clean the Sphinx with a cloth, keeps going until he falls off the back of it, making Blue annoyed by his antics.)
"I can't with this guy, why do we even bother having him part of the group?" (about to grab the vase only for a blue stripe to wrap around his arm.) "Hey!" the Blue Bandit shouted
(But as the Blue Bandit pulled the stripe down, Catboy jumped over the second floor railing and landed behind him with Gekko, Newton Star and Bastet landing around the Blue Bandit surrounding him while the Green Bandit got up and readied himself with a laser rifle only for Armadylan to roll in and cause him to stumble and fall onto the ground close to the Blue Bandit. Before the two bandits could fight back, a bunch of Police Officers appeared from different places of the exhibit and aimed their guns at the two bandits to raise their hands into the air.)
"Red is not gonna like this." the Green Bandit said
"You think?" (stops the Green Bandit from answering by slapping his mouth shut.) "Don't answer it!" the Blue Bandit shouted
(In the space exhibit, the Red and Yellow Bandits heard the sound and readied themselves for any heroes that could be in the exhibit with them. Without warning, Owlette flew in shooting her owl feathers at them as they held up plasma shields to defend against them, but when they were about to make a run for it, An Yu and Lilyfay flew through the doors and used their powers to blow them back with Ice Cub sliding in on his snowboard and throwing snowballs at the two, but the Yellow Bandit was able to reflect each of them in different directions An Yu, Ice Cub, Lilyfay and the Police Officers to get hit by them and stuck in blocks of ice as Owlette and the Police Chief avoided them. The Yellow Bandit then activated her jet boots and flew after Owlette while the Police Chief pulled out his baton and began dueling against the Red Bandit's bo-staff. Owlette flew around the exhibit with the Yellow Bandit flying after her while shooting her owl feathers to try and lose the Yellow Bandit, the Police Chief continued to duel with the Red Bandit until he backed up into a wall with the Red Bandit ready to strike but the Chief rolled out of the way in time for the Red Bandit to swing his bo-staff into the wall, getting it stuck. The Police Chief then ran over to An Yu, Ice Cub and Lilyfay and held his baton over Ice Cub's icy state for it to warm up and melt the ice real quick, releasing Ice Cub leaving him surprised.)
"How did you do that?" Ice Cub asked
"Talk later, I'll keep the Red Bandit busy while you free the others." the Police Chief said
(The Police Chief continues to fight the Red Bandit as Ice Cub freed An Yu and Lilyfay from their icy states, but when Ice Cub freed them, An Yu looked up at the clock above the doors to see it was almost dawn.)
"We have to go!" An Yu said
"Owlette!" (ducks from Owlette and the Yellow Bandit flying over him and Lilyfay.) "She's too focused on stopping them!" Ice Cub said
"We can't stay here, there isn't even any starlight power in the day." Lilyfay said
(Just then, the three jumped out of the way from the Chief backing up from deflecting the Red Bandit's attacks and ran out of the space exhibit. Owlette continued to fly from the Yellow Bandit until the Yellow Bandit shot a laser out of her bo-staff at Owlette, knocking her off balance and sending her spiraling until she crashed through the window and landed onto the ground outside the museum. Owlette slowly stood up to get back in, only to see the other PJ Masks Power Heroes running out of the museum in panic and past her.)
"Guys! Where are you going!?" Owlette asked in panic
"Dawn is almost upon us!" Bastet said
"We have to come back tomorrow night to stop them!" Newton Star said
"Not even my Power Armor can stop them!" Armadylan said
"They were able to knock us back with those weapons!" Gekko said
"Those Bandits aren't like any other nighttime villain we faced!" Lilyfay said
"The yellow one was able to deflect all of my snowballs!" Ice Cub said
"They are more prepared than we thought!" An Yu said
"Sorry Owlette, but we have to rethink our plan to stop them." Catboy said
(Catboy and the others then ran off leaving Owlette by herself as she was shocked from what happened as the Color Bandits came out of the museum while pushing the frozen Police Officers out onto the ground and slid them onto the street while the Police Chief was tied up and dragged by the Red Bandit.)
"Will you look at that, her friends abandoned her." the Red Bandit said
"That is because they can only be out at night, same for her." the Yellow Bandit said
"Looks like we'll be doing our jobs in the daytime without worrying about her or her friends stopping us." the Blue Bandit said
"And more cash!" the Green Bandit said
"Now you're thinking like us." the Red Bandit said
"Don't think you'll get away with this." the Police Chief said
"I think we will." the Yellow Bandit said
"And there's no one to help you!" the Red Bandit said
(The Color Bandits began to laugh until they and the Police Chief looked towards Owlette in shock when they heard her starting to speak in a different language they don't know about, but when Owlette turned towards the Color Bandits, her eyes are revealed to be glowing red as dawn has came and Owlette's powers were still active leaving the Color Bandits shocked by what their seeing.)
"This can't be." the Yellow Bandit said
"The Owlarion Princess has embraced her inner owl, she can now use her powers in the daytime." the Police Chief said
"What!?" (pushes the Chief to ground and readies his sword to fight.) "alright kid, show us what you're made of!" the Red Bandit said
(Without warning, Owlette let out a huge screech at the Color Bandits, knocking them back from the red wave which also destroyed their multi-weapons in the process, the Color Bandits were shocked from what happened and were about to make their escape only for Owlette to shoot her owl feathers at the Color Bandits and trapping them.)
"Okay, this did not go well." the Blue Bandit said
"At least I got a close look at the Sphinx." the Green Bandit said
(feels her anger go down and becomes calm.) "Phew, let this be a lesson to you, bandits." Owlette said
"Well done, princess. You can now use your powers in the day and night." the Police Chief said
"You mean…" Owlette was gonna ask
"That's right, you can now fight villains in the day and the night." the Police Chief said
"Wow, I didn't know I could do that." Owlette said
"In the law of the Owlarions, one can only use their powers in both day and night once they embrace their inner owl." the Police Chief said
"Inner Owl." Owlette said (places a hand near the emblem on her chest, proud to have the powers of her ancient ancestors.)
(A few hours later, the Police Officers were escorting the Color Bandits into a police van as a group of news reporters were asking Owlette and the Police Chief some questions about Owlette's powers, the Color Bandits' capture and Owlette's journey to stopping the great disaster.)
"Settle down, settle down! We appreciate all the questions, but with the Owlarion Princess here, she will be able to help us from any villain that does anything bad in Tarabiscoville, day or night. Without her, the Color Bandits wouldn't have been stopped from stealing the valuable artifacts in the museum. From this day forward, Owlette will…" the Police Chief didn't finish
"Look! It's him!" a News Reporter shouted
(The camera men turned to a purple limousine pulling over near the museum gate entrance for the rear door to open revealing an adult man in a purple tuxedo suit, black hair in a ponytail with a mustache goatee combo and holding a black cane with a purple diamond on top, the man stepped out of the limo and starts walking towards Owlette and the Chief as the Chief was shocked to see who it was.)
"It really is him, it's Xavier Lunarford." the Police Chief said
"Xavier who?" Owlette asked
"Xavier Lunarford, he's the president of Lunarford Enterprises, he's made many things that would improve our lives. I can't believe he's actually here." the Police Chief said
(keeps walking until he stops four feet away from Owlette and the Police Chief.) "So, you're the Owlarion princess, Owlette, correct?" Xavier Lunarford asked
"Uh…" Owlette couldn't say
"That she is, she stopped the Color Bandits from robbing the museum for the second time after being in prison for three days." the Police Chief said
"Three days? Felt like a week to me." Owlette said
"I appreciate you stopping the Color Bandits, especially the Yellow Bandit" (turns towards the Color Bandits as they were locked in the police van.) "she's part of a group of bandits that have been using my tech for their thieving plans, my guards have been trying to find them for so long until you captured one of them." Xavier Lunarford said
"The bandit team you're part of have been stealing from the richest man in Tarabiscoville?" the Red Bandit asked
"How else were we suppose to do the big jobs? I just didn't think that kid would be able to destroy them." the Yellow Bandit said
(turns to the Blue Bandit, smug like.) "And you said we wouldn't worry about her stopping us in the daytime." the Green Bandit said
(growls in anger, causing the Green Bandit to back away in fright.) One of these days, Green!" the Blue Bandit shouted
(The Police Officers then closed the van doors for them to drive away with police cars following close by.)
"I have to say, without your help, we wouldn't have been able to arrest one of the members of the Color Bandits, but it seems they have three new members, and with that, a full rainbow." Xavier Lunarford said
"That doesn't sound like a good thing." Owlette said
"Lets just hope they don't escape the prison." the Police Chief said
"Of course, but right now, it is best to celebrate the rise of the Owlarion princess, Owlette." Xavier Lunarford said (kneels down and holds his hand out to shake Owlette's hand.)
(Owlette was surprised about how things went, but smiled as she placed her hand in Xavier's hand to shake it until the news reporters started asking questions again as photographers were taking pictures of them, causing Owlette to cover her eyes from the flashes. Later in the day, everyone in Tarabiscoville were reading newspapers of Xavier and the Owlarion princess. Amaya, Connor and Greg were heading to the park as they saw everyone reading the newspaper.)
"Wow, you're really popular when you're Owlette." Connor said
"We didn't even know you could use your powers in the day." Greg said
"I didn't either until the Police Chief told me about my inner owl. I guess hearing the bandits taunting me about not using my powers in the day before gaining my inner owl must've unlocked it." Amaya said
"You even got on the papers with Xavier Lunarford." Connor said
"It's not your best picture though." Greg said
"They took me by surprise, I didn't know Xavier would be that…" (flinches from an explosion on top of one of the buildings and looks at it in fright.) famous." Amaya said
(As the smoke went down, the cause of the explosion revealed to be a buffed man in black shorts, tank-top and sunglasses with some explosive belts strapped around his body while cackling until the police drove in making a barrier to keep the citizens away.)
(steps out of a police car and aims his gun at the man full of explosives along with the officers.) "Stand down, Demo-Nator. You're surrounded!" the Police Chief said
"You cops think you can beat me!? I am the Demo-Nator! I'm unstoppable!" the Demo-Nator shouted
(walks behind the crowd and runs to PJ HQ and hides behind it. Whispers.) "Unstoppable, huh? Not if I have anything to say about it." Amaya said (holds her bracelet up, ready to stop him.)
"I heard about a hero that has the powers of an ancient species to save everyone in the day and night. But I doubt there's someone that can beat me!" the Demo-Nator shouted (cackles wildly without knowing Owlette descended slowly behind him with her flight.)
"Then why don't you see how tough she is." the Police Chief said
(Demo-Nator was confused about what the chief meant, but when he turned around, Owlette was hovering in place waiting for Demo-Nator to turn to her. Demo-Nator was shocked from what he saw as Owlette flew straight at him ready to strike.)
