Disclaimer: You got it right people. I'm keeping the story beat where Liberty struggles to discover her power at first. I won't have this be something she discovers at the end like The Mighty Movie, but I'm sure the reveal point will still be amazing. For now though, let's see what Wave and the others are up to now! Along with a little something else.
Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Powered Up Pooches arc Episode three: Adventure City Meteor Part Three
The night before the pups discovered their new powers, Victoria Vance was watching Marty Muttmaker's latest news report on the station TV. "And according to Adventure City's very own Liberty, this disaster was caused by none other than the mad scientist, Victoria Vance!"
Victoria started to tense up, leaving Humdinger, who was in the same cell as her, to comment on her behavior. "So you hate the Paw Patrol too?"
"I don't really care about the rest of them." Victoria answered, putting her hands on the bars and grabbing them as she expressed her envy of Liberty. "I'm just sick of that street rat getting so much attention! What has she done that I can't!?"
What Marty said next led to Victoria's anger getting the better of her. "All I can say is, we're more than lucky to have been graced with a team as amazing as the Paw Patrol! And if it weren't for Liberty and her new pirate friend, well... a lot of buckets would've been kicked tonight."
Victoria threw her shoe at the TV, catching Humdinger's attention and enraging the guard. "Hey! We don't need you destroying anything else, Vance! That's worth at least an extra day in here!"
"Give me an extra second, and your sentence will meet a swift end." Victoria threatened, leading to the guard looking away, knowing that Victoria wouldn't make a threat she didn't mean. Victoria groaned as she sat down next to the bars, venting about her frustrations. "So what if I'm a mad scientist? I'm still the greatest scientist in the world! If only these idiots could see how much more brilliant I am than that street rat!"
"I know how you feel. I was the best Mayor this city ever had!" Mayor Humdinger added, and Victoria listened as he complained about the Paw Patrol himself. "If that awful Paw Patrol didn't butt in, the city would still love me!"
"Sounds like we have a common goal. I'd break us out of here, but they confiscated all of my stuff." Victoria revealed, punching the wall of her cell before complaining one last time. "It's unbelievable! Another failed plan to show the people of Adventure City how brilliant I am! And still, all they see in me is madness!"
Humdinger started to get a little unsettled by Victoria's insanity. Before he could react however, a familiar voice was heard from nearby. "Sadly, most people fail to see just how well brilliance and madness can work combined." The guard turned to see who it was and tried to stop them, only to get shot in the face with another guard's gun. As soon as the guard fell, Humdinger and Victoria watched as a wolf's paws walked towards them. When the wolf reached the cell, it was revealed to be none other than... Slash Ralston. "Luckily for you, my friend... I'm not most people."
Humdinger and Victoria were confused at first, and Victoria instantly got to asking about who Slash was. "Who the heck are you?"
"Someone who's been keeping a close eye on you since my last defeat." Slash answered, handing her a gun before he got to explaining more about his plan. "Here's the thing. I've taken notice to just how crazy you are. And that's exactly what I'm looking for in my henchmen." Humdinger walked up to the cell, prompting Slash to address him. "I see you share a cell with the former Mayor of this city. You can come too."
Slash took his claw out and used it to unlock the cell, allowing Victoria and Humdinger to escape. The fact that he was able to pull this off so effectively told them to cooperate. As crazy as Victoria was, she knew better than to sign a practical suicide note. "Thanks. But I still don't know your name."
"She's right. And even if we DO decide to work for you, we can't work for someone we don't know the name of." Humdinger added, leading Slash to gaze at him before he spoke again in defense of himself. "I mean... if you would just prefer we call you 'boss', then-"
"Cut the boss crap. I hate titles." Slash interrupted, tossing a gun to Humdinger, who stumbled a bit before catching it. Good thing the safety was off. That showed Slash was watching them too. "My name is Slash Ralston. And I'm well known by the Paw Patrol." Slash walked onward, signaling Victoria and Humdinger to follow him as he did. "I have a portal to our base in the waiting room. I'll explain more after I announce my grand return." Victoria liked Slash's down to business approach. She followed him with Humdinger timidly following from behind.
When Victoria and Humdinger entered the room, they saw the portal Slash was talking about. It was against the wall on the inside so no one could see it. And before Slash entered, he looked back at Victoria and Humdinger with some interesting words in mind. "You want to show the world you're brilliant? We'll give them proof they can't possibly deny." Slash laughed devilishly with Victoria gaining a crazy smile on her face. She loved Slash's vibe so much, that she couldn't possibly decline his offer.
Humdinger mainly wanted to get out of prison.
After lunch on the day the pups got their powers, Liberty was out with Wave and Snow, who went to the video store with her to pick out something good. Liberty saw a movie called Charlotte's Web, taking an interest because of the title, as well as the cover art. When she looked at the back and got a synopsis of the plot, she started to get even more invested in watching it. Now came what she considered the hard part: Asking Wave and Snow if they could purchase it.
Liberty walked up to Wave and Snow as Wave joked about how overly dramatic the movie cover looked. "Next thing you know, they're gonna have the main characters get 'freaky' on the sequel's cover art. I'll stick to movies that aren't try-hard emo teens, thanks."
Snow laughed at Wave's joke as Liberty got ready to ask them about the movie. "All they need is the hairstyle to make me wanna cut myself."
Wave snickered at the dark snarking from Snow before Liberty spoke up. "Wave? Snow?" Wave and Snow looked at Liberty, who tried to ask them if they could buy the movie. She had a hard time asking people for stuff. Even the help Adventure City gave her wasn't something she asked for. They all gave that to her. So she wasn't used to asking for something she wanted. "Can I... um..." Liberty just showed them the movie, and they got a good look at it. "This movie. It..."
Wave and Snow saw how worried Liberty was about their reaction. They looked at each other and smiled before nodding, leading to Wave giving her their approval. "Sure we can! I've heard good things about this one."
Liberty was happy to be getting the movie, but she was also caught off guard by how easy it was to get it. "Really? Just like that? I didn't even say the question!"
"The movie you were holding said it all." Snow revealed, walking up to the counter with Wave and Liberty to purchase the movie.
Wave got to purchasing the movie as she told Liberty it was okay to ask for stuff. "We obviously can't get you everything in the world Libby. But something as simple as a movie will never be a problem."
"Okay!" Liberty exclaimed while nodding her head, being super excited to watch the movie.
Wave, Snow, and Liberty were arriving back with Charlotte's Web as they heard the others watching the news about a rescue that happened that day. Wave and Liberty were excited to watch the movie and ran into the living room to show it. Snow arrived in after they realized the others were already watching the news. Liberty was disappointed at having to wait. "Awwww, I wanna watch the spider and pig movie."
"We'll watch it when we can Libby." Wave assured Liberty, heading over to the others to sit down with them. "For now, let's see what happened during Rocky's rescue!"
Wave and Snow started snuggling after sitting with each other, and Liberty sat next to Arrby, who smiled when she did. Marty Muttmaker was then shown talking about the rescue that was shown on the screen. This was of him using his powers to control a window wiper's lift to carry them down safely. Skye was holding them from her helicopter as he did this. "This is the brave escapade done by Rocky Goodway of the Paw Patrol! It looks like he's controlling the window wipers' lift with his paws to keep it from plummeting to the ground."
Rocky smiled proudly at his rescue, glad he could put his powers to good use. Marty was then shown interviewing Rocky, who was trying to ready himself for what to say. "Rocky. What can you tell us about your power?"
"Well... I just got it yesterday." Rocky admitted, trying to avoid saying as much as possible so the wrong person didn't learn about it. "It appears to be some form of telekinesis, one where I can manipulate any metallic figure with my paws." Rocky then started hyperfixating on what else he could use this power for. "I could undoubtedly try using it for other things too. Like putting my paw on an object I'm on to guide myself across the city at high speeds. Or using something massive to trap unsuspecting foes! Or maybe even stop a second meteor!"
Marty laughed at Rocky's hyper thinking as the last thing he said got Liberty thinking about her possible power. She started imagining what she could do to stop a meteor after she discovered it as Marty spoke again in the news station. "Quite the imaginative Canine I must say." Marty stood up as he continued his report. "I think we can also assume that-" Just then, Marty noticed something that confused him. "Huh?" Some kind of portal device was appearing off camera, which confused Marty. "Has that always been there?"
Something then appeared off screen that made Marty start to panic. "What the heck is that!? Don't hurt-"
In an instant, Slash dashed in front of the camera, grabbing Marty by the neck and holding him up while terrifying the rest of the news crew. This especially shocked the Paw Patrol and Charm, while worrying Sid and Arrby. What Ryder said next concerned them even more. "Slash! You came back after all."
"Slash? Who's Slash?" Arrby asked concernedly, and Sid was just as confused as him. Those two had no idea who Slash was, and as a result, didn't know just how terrifying he could be. It was the same case with Liberty, who was simply terrified seeing Slash ruthlessly choke Marty.
Before Ryder could explain, Slash spoke up again, speaking in the form of a news anchor as if he worked there. His tone was menacing, but kept his vibe of having fun with what he was doing. "This just in, Slash Ralston has made his grand return after three years of being trapped in the pits of hell! And his big return will contain carnage and bloodshed not suitable for minors." Slash then spoke much more menacingly just before what he did next. "Viewer discretion is advised."
Slash snapped Marty's neck without hesitation, and while the others expressed horror, Charm's vicious side took over and caused him to express his love for violence with a smile. "Oh-ho-ho; brutal!" Rocky gently punched Charm to remind him of who this was and what he was doing. "Oh, right; our waste of a father is causing anarchy again." Even after Charm's redemption, he still had his moments of his love for violence and battle getting the better of him.
Slash dropped Marty on the ground before turning to face the camera, ready to continue reintroducing himself. "Ladies, gentlemen, boys, and girls, and every remaining gender identity under the sun, you're not seeing things, and you heard me right. Now, you may remember me attacking the following towns, cities, villages, and so on." Slash somehow managed to get a list of all of the areas he's attacked over the years, including Twin Flame Island and Wolfland. "Of course, if you ARE from any of these places, then you're probably either dead or terrified."
Wave looked at Marshall, and the two shared determined nods as Slash continued, showing their mutual desire to bring him down again. "But that's not what I'm here to talk about today." Rocky and Charm did the same with Charm giving an excited grin at how wild this could get. "I have a special announcement for locals and newcomers alike!" Snow held Liberty's paw after offering it to her, and she accepted. Chase and Zuma also fist bumped to show their readiness.
Slash grabbed the camera as he looked to the side his portal came on. "I'm sure you'll remember these lovely degenerates." Slash turned the camera to face Humdinger and Victoria; the former of whom was grinning smarmy like, and the latter who was grinning crazily while spinning around one of her gadgets.
The others got worried about this with Rocky sighing as he pointed out how obvious this was to predict for Slash's return. "Of course he broke those two out of jail."
Slash continued his announcement as Humdinger pet one of his kittens in his arm, and Victoria started working on upgrading one of her gadgets, as Slash continued. "The three of us will soon take over this city, and in due time, the planet it resides on. Maybe even beyond. Space could be fun to rule." Liberty couldn't stop focusing on Victoria. Even after what she saw from Humdinger, she knew the most of what she could do. And now that she was out of jail, she could continue causing mayhem as she wished. "I think trying to limit your power is boring anyway."
Victoria then ran up to the camera, looking into it and calling out Liberty for just how much she wanted to get back at her. "Your days are numbered Liberty; you privileged little street rat!" Liberty couldn't help but be confused, and worried, about how Victoria was targeting her specifically. "You're about to see just how much harder I've worked than you!"
Slash, while delighted by Victoria's energy, pulled her back with a grin to keep focus on his announcement. "Thank you Victoria. I'll take it from here." Victoria flipped off the camera with Slash finishing up the announcement. "Now for everyone who's crying at home, or at work, or wherever you are right now, don't fret. I'll give you plenty of time to live in fear and agony over my return before we execute our plan to take over your precious city."
Humdinger chimed in with some clarification on that next part. "We haven't talked over our first plan yet. But once we do, just you watch!"
"I think they could've figured that part out Humdinger." Slash told Humdinger, who sheepishly went back over to where Victoria was standing to let Slash get back to business. "Oh, and just to give you an idea of how much raw power your future ruler is dealing with..." Slash walked over to the desk and kicked it up before letting it fall back down. Just before it landed, Slash kicked it through the wall, demonstrating his power and stunning all of the News team who were still alive. Slash then turned back to the camera with a grin. "That's only a preview."
Slash turned the camera over to the portal as he walked back over to it, leaving the Paw Patrol in fear and confusion as he gave his final words. "So. Keep that in mind, and I'll see you in a couple episodes." Just before Slash took off, he looked back at the camera to give his dramatic finish. "Also, feel free to count the days until your demise. But be warned." His sadistic grin said it all as he gave the final words in his announcement. "It will always hit zero."
Slash then stepped onto the portal before taking out a gun and shooting the camera, ending the announcement then and there. The portal activated and sent Slash, Victoria, and Humdinger to wherever Slash's base was.
After Slash's announcement, Wave and the others were explaining who Slash was to Liberty, Arrby, and Sid, with Liberty being the first to ask about it. "So, basically, Slash is this sadistic tyrannical wolf who wants to turn everyone into his slaves out of a lust for power, and he not only killed hundreds of thousands of people in his life ruling his army, but is also the father of Rocky and Charm!?"
"Yep. That's basically the long and short of it." Rocky answered, and then he gave some more news to Liberty after nodding to Charm after sharing a glance. "There's something else we should tell you."
Charm held his paw out and poked it with the tip of his knife, shocking Liberty as she asked about it in shock. "Whoa; Charm; what are you doing!?"
"Just watch." Charm advised, and Liberty did as instructed, being shocked to learn that Charm's blood was black. After seeing that she didn't understand why that was, Charm explained it. "Rocky and I have demon blood inside of us. Mine was from a pure demon, and Rocky's was from a hybrid."
Sid quickly realized who that 'hybrid' could be after thinking about who else they knew. "Is the hybrid someone you know?"
"Yeah. I guess we never told you." Ryder answered, revealing who it was to them, knowing they'd understand. "You know our friend Richie, back in Adventure Bay? His father was a full demon. Somehow, he and his mother conceived him.
Liberty, Arrby, and Sid were taken aback by this news with Liberty asking another question about Slash. "You said he had an army too. Does his army consist of demons?"
Ryder nodded his head yes, leaving Arrby to speak up about how he was taking all of this in. "Wow. I was... not expecting our mission to turn into this." Arrby then laughed a bit as he thought about something else. "But it explains so much too! Charm's healing powers must have come from his demon blood. And it also explains how he's got such tough skin and why he started out the way he did." Charm and Rocky smiled to each other, being glad that he wasn't like that anymore.
Zuma spoke up after that, assuring them of his confidence that they would stop Slash. "Don't wowwy though dudes. We've alweady stopped Slash twice before. Well, Chawm did all the work the fiwst time, and killed him both times, but we're way stwonger than we were befowe. We got this!"
"That's right Zuma." Chase chimed in, and then he decided to kick up his brotherly rivalry with Zuma with a way to test their powers. "And we can start getting ready by proving I can catch you when we use our powers!"
"Oh-ho-ho, you are so on Chase dude!" Zuma declared, and that was when Wave chimed in with her own words.
Wave knew this was a lot to take in, so she didn't rush Liberty, Arrby, or Sid in preparing. "We know this is a lot to take in. We'll give you guys some time, and we'll get to work when you're ready." Sid and Arrby smiled gratefully for that, and Wave then showed Liberty the copy of Charlotte's Web they bought. Snow smiled next to her as Wave spoke up about the movie. "And I think I know how to help you with that Libby." Liberty looked at the movie cover for a bit before seeing if she was in the mood. She saw that she was, and smiled to show it.
Just before bedtime, Wave and Liberty were continuing to work on what her new power was. The power they were currently on was see through vision. Wave was hiding behind some big blocks the pups brought from their old Lookout. She was using her new powers to properly crack open a walnut, and when she did, she called to Liberty. Wave waited a bit so Liberty could take a guess. "Did you crack open a walnut!?"
"Yes!" Wave cheered, feeling this might be the one. "Just to make sure, you saw me doing it, right?"
"No. I just guessed based on the sound it made." Liberty said bluntly, leaving Wave to realize her mistake.
Wave ate the walnut before giving another idea for testing this power. "Maybe we should try something that doesn't have sound." Wave started balancing a ball on her nose after picking it up from where she sat. After doing so as carefully as she could, she waited a few seconds, making sure to make her movements subtle so they didn't go over the blocks' viewpoint. Liberty tried as hard as she could, but she couldn't muster up the ability to see through the blocks. Wave called to Liberty after a few seconds to see. "Can you see what I'm doing Libby!?"
"Nope! Nothing!" Liberty stated, realizing that see through vision wasn't her special power. Wave went over to her with the ball as she expressed this. "I think the walnut might've actually been enough proof. Sight and sound work in sync all the time."
"Yeah, good point." Wave admitted, and then she pointed to her ball with a smile. "But it was fun balancing this on my nose."
"Hehe. I bet." Liberty said, and then she started wondering if she could do that herself. Wave saw her enthusiasm and tossed the ball to her, allowing her to start balancing it on her nose. However, she lost said balance after two seconds of intense struggle. When she fell on her back, she started laughing before getting up to go get the ball with Wave. "I gotta ask Skye how she does that all the time."
Wave tossed the ball into the toy bin before giving Liberty some encouragement about her powers. After she crossed off 'see through vision' from the potential powers list of course. The powers of everyone else were already crossed out, and so were electricity, mind reading, and truth lasso. That last one was mainly to help Snow, since she hated liars. "We've just gotta keep looking when we can Libby. As long as you have that crystal, you're bound to discover your power."
"And I wanna find it out as fast as possible!" Liberty exclaimed, and that was when she started worrying about how long it would take her to discover her power. Victoria's words rang in her head again when she did that, same with what she said in the news broadcast. Liberty knew bedtime was coming up, but she needed some time to herself to look over the city and think about what she did next. "Hey Wave? You can head off to bed if you want. I'm not tired yet."
Wave could tell that Liberty really felt in need of space. She smiled to her, letting her know she understood. "If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here."
Liberty smiled back, glad she had a friend like Wave in her life now. "Thanks Wave. I'll keep that in mind." Wave headed off to bed after she and Liberty wished each other goodnight and did their new fist bump routine. That was when Liberty began to walk over to the balcony to look over Adventure City. That was when she showed her doubt through her expression, and how much everything was eating at her.
Liberty was still out on the balcony, looking over the city as she contemplated her ability to protect her home. As she looked over Adventure City, several things spiraled in her mind. The meteor crashing, the words Victoria shot her with, the fact that she doesn't have her power yet... it was all so much. She may have been able to help the people in Adventure City for the past three years now, but that wasn't on the same scale as what she faced recently. First Humdinger almost destroyed the city with the Cloud Catcher, and then Victoria's actions...
And now both of them are working with Slash to take over the city.
Liberty just didn't know if she was capable of protecting the city anymore; with or without help. She still loved it with all of her heart, and the very idea that she couldn't protect it broke her heart. Slow piano music started to play as she questioned whether or not she could continue being the Canine the city needed. 'Can I still help them?' Even with her being a member of the Paw Patrol now, she just couldn't get it out of her head that this could be too hard for her. 'Can I protect them from someone like Slash?'
As she continued looking over the city, Liberty began to sing My City to emphasize how confused she was over all of this. "It was so much simpler before. Just a pup looking over her city. But now there's cloud catchers, meteors, and demons involved, am I ready for what might be?" Liberty smiled as she thought about Wave, Snow, and the others. "I love the friends I've made recently, and the team I live with now." Then, her fear of losing that caused her to frown again. "But I have to protect the city from much more now, and I just don't know how."
Arrby came up to get a glass of water as he heard Liberty singing on the balcony. "My friends all know their powers, but I haven't found mine. It feels like my paw's holding on the tip of a vine." Catching the somber tone of his new friend, he looked in concern as she continued to sing. "One mistake, and I could let them all down, just like that."
Arrby started walking over to Liberty, making sure not to be seen so he could let her finish the song. It felt like something she had to do. "These past three years of living here, they've been my absolute best. I didn't scare any of them off, like I did with the rest." Liberty tried to contain herself as she sang the next line in her song. "I just hope, I can protect them from threats like this, and that's a faaaaact."
Liberty looked over her city with Arrby seeing just how overwhelmed she was feeling with the next part of her song. "It's not like I didn't have any idea what I was getting into. But these stakes are all so much more intense, and so sudden and new. I want to tell them how I feel, but I don't know how, you see. I've never opened up about this before, in my city."
Liberty's song helped Arrby understand so much about her quickly; particularly how she wasn't used to opening up about her deeper feelings. He let her continue, since she started singing again after a couple seconds. "Normally, I can brush off cold words like they're nothing. But what Victoria said hit a different cord, and her words just keep on spiraling. I want to stop her, but how can I, when she's got Slash by her side? If what I've learned says anything, she's gonna go on quite the ride."
Liberty flashed back to all the moments she was there for with the meteor hitting Adventure City, from when she met Arrby and took it down, to when she touched it in the garage. "That meteor has changed so much, and the power it holds just might be our clutch. But what happens if I can't make my crystal wake up?" The flashbacks ended with Liberty continuing to sing as Arrby watched her. "I don't want to let them down on any day, but will these doubts of mine scare them away? I just want to help my friends and stay this city's helpful puuuuup."
Liberty looked up at the moon, letting it shine down on her as she continued with her song. "I knew from the start I was gonna have hard missions from time to time. But this came up so out of the blue, that I'm worried I'll fall, before I finish the climb." Liberty held back her tear as she sang the next part of her song. "It's not that I want to hide this from them, I just don't know how to say it, you see. I've never spoken about deep stuff like this before, in my city."
Liberty sang the last part of her song with Arrby watching her with concern and care as she did. "And the end of the day, all I really want, is for the people here to be safe and happy" Liberty looked over Adventure City again, finishing her song with one final line. "That's why I have to try, give it my all as I, try to, protect, myyyyy... cityyyyyyyyyy."
Arrby waited a few seconds after Liberty finished her song, wanting to make sure she was done before he went out there. He wanted to let her know he was there for her. And he did just that after making sure she was done. The door opening startled Liberty, especially when she heard Arrby's worried voice. "Liberty?"
Liberty instantly turned around and spoke nervously when she noticed Arrby. "Arrby!? Wow, um... I guess you heard me singing just now."
"Yeah. I did." Arrby confirmed, walking up to Liberty as he attempted to comfort her. "I can understand not knowing how to talk to others about this stuff. I felt that way before meeting Sid." Liberty showed interest in that revelation before Arrby gave her some advice. "But you can't learn how to do something until you start doing it."
Liberty understood what Arrby meant, but was worried she wouldn't be able to follow through. "No arguments there. I just wish I knew where to start."
Arrby smiled before making an offer to Liberty. "You can start with me." Liberty was surprised at first. After all, she'd just met Arrby yesterday. And they seemed to be forming a bond that was similar to the strength of her bond with Wave. Liberty didn't expect to be making such strong bonds in such a short amount of time. But what Arrby said next confirmed that Liberty had a friend in him. "If that'll make you happy."
Liberty's smile confirmed that this would in fact, make her happy. And she got right down to it after thanking Arrby. "Thanks Arrby." Arrby nodded, and then allowed Liberty to start talking. "I'll admit. I did hear about some of the Paw Patrol's bigger missions before, like the battle against Miranda and the Jake's Mountain incident. But this stuff about demon blood and Slash is stuff I was kind of in the dark about."
"That's kind of surprising. Anyone who's heard of Charm has to have heard of demon blood at least once." Arrby responded, using his time in Adventure Bay as an example, since he learned about Demon Blood then. Liberty and Arrby continued to talk about Liberty's doubts, and that helped Liberty feel better about communicating her concerns. And it made both Dachshunds happy in the process; Liberty for getting a step closer to talking about her doubts comfortably, and Arrby for being trusted enough to hear about it.
Snow was having a nightmare soon after she and Wave turned in for bed. She wasn't moving around just yet, but it was still clear she was scared by this dream. Inside her nightmare, she was revealed to be running from her father during another one of his rages. "YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER YOU LITTLE SH-" The shouting got cut off when Snow stumbled upon a mirror, causing her to see a reflection of herself that turned into her father. This horrified her. She became surrounded with overwhelming emotions of fear, confusion, and anger in the process.
That last one took control, as she noticed a nearby brick and picked it up. She continued to fume before glaring at the mirror. Her reflection was still that of her father. She wasn't having that one bit. She got her throw ready, throwing it at the mirror as soon as she finished her demand. "Stop. Messing. With. My! HEAD!"
SMASH!
As soon as the mirror smashed, Snow was awoken by the worried nudge of her girlfriend. "Snow!" Snow woke up in an instant after hearing Wave's voice, sitting up as she tried to check on her. "Are you okay?" Snow took a bit of time to process what she just witnessed. She actually had a nightmare of her reflection being that of her father. Her heart skipped a beat when she thought about it again. That made Wave worry about her even more. "What's wrong?"
Snow's anxiety and anger kicked in at that moment, causing her to lose her cool with Wave after a groan. "Can you not see I'm not in the mood to talk about it!?" Wave was stunned by this outburst, especially after Snow stood up and walked over to the window. "I barely know what's going on myself!"
Wave knew Snow sometimes had a hot head, but this sudden outburst still caught her off guard. That said, she wanted to be there for Snow, and gave a patient smile to show it. "That's okay. Maybe when you're ready to talk, I can help you figure it out."
Snow immediately started to feel awful for her outburst after remembering who she was talking to. Wave didn't deserve that, and Snow didn't want to hurt her. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me."
Wave stood up, walking over to Snow to let her know she wasn't upset. "It must've been a pretty intense nightmare. That would make anyone emotional."
"Still. You're too sweet to ever deserve that." Snow said remorsefully. In that moment, Snow's anxiety caused her to think back to when she slapped Wave when she still went by Flare, just before she joined the team. She started fearing she would hurt her like that again because of her rising anger. Her anger in that moment reminded her of Carl. She started to fear her outburst was a reflection of that moment, and that she would end up like him as a result. She started having these nightmares a couple days ago too, the day after Humdinger was arrested.
Wave didn't want to force snow to talk about anything she wasn't comfortable with. Just like Liberty, she was willing to give her the time she needed. Instead of pressuring her, she went over to their bed and picked up Princess Chocolate. She then showed her to Snow after walking back over to her. "You need a minute with her?" Snow looked at Princess Chocolate after receiving the offer from Wave. She really was the sweetest thing, no matter the situation.
Snow smiled and gratefully accepted Wave's offer, gently taking Princess Chocolate from her to have this minute. "That would be great. Thanks Wave."
"Anything for you Snowflake." Wave assured Snow, and the two of them started looking out the window together as Snow held Princess Chocolate. Snow couldn't help thinking about the deeper meaning behind what Wave just said. 'Anything for her'. She knew better than almost anyone what Wave was willing to go through to help those or save a life. The Paw Patrol were supposed to risk their lives for others. But Snow still feared losing Wave during a mission. For now though, she would enjoy this moment with her as the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.
Spooky music started playing as Arrby started talking about what was going to happen with specific moments from the next chapter being shown. "This city trick or treating is gonna be great! Ha! Zuma's going as me. You've never gone trick or treating before Liberty? It's loads of fun. Wow. It seems like Liberty's been missing out on a lot of fun stuff. But why didn't she go trick or treating before? She's been living here for three years, and the people here are really nice."
Arrby finished the announcement with the words Paw Patrol in all blue with red outlines surrounded with a white border with Wave on the right, and Marshall on the left.
