The Winx Club decided that they would wake up early just to iron out their plan.

Flora started with, "Alright so Musa will be tasked with keeping tabs on Faragonda, and I'll keep an eye on Valtor. I'll even sign up for his classes… " Flora wasn't pleased with that last part but she understood that she had to do it, plus the thought of spying on Faragonda only brought her a wave of shame. Therefore Valtor was the lesser of the two evils.

"And what would you like to do Aisha?" Musa couldn't believe that she forgot to give Aisha a task, but she decided that it was better to ask later than never.

"Yeah about that… I'm sorry everyone but I don't think I'll be able to help much. I need to focus as much of my time as I can on Andros. You see…" Aisha hadn't told her friends about the strange occurrences on her planet. She didn't want to worry her friends about her problems after the planetary chaos Solaria went through. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep this to herself forever, therefore she took a deep breath and said. "You see my father is requesting for my presence whenever I'm able to for the tides on Andros have been uncontrollable, and we've started to notice… strange behavior with the mermaids.."

"Oh say no more Aisha," Stella responded tenderly. After everything that happened to her home planet, she couldn't possibly blame Aisha for wanting to focus her time on her home. "Honestly, strangely, your home is also having problems with the weather, I wonder if it has anything to do with what happened at Solaria…?"

"Yeah now that you mention it that is strange. I hope these events aren't connected," Aisha's voice trailed off worried that there might truly be something else at play, but before she could dwell on it any longer-

"Well, whatever it is we understand Aisha! You don't need to worry about us, your homeworld is more important than our mischievous schemes after all!" Musa said as she winked at Aisha.

"Thank you for understanding. Let's just hope this is all just some fluke or strange weather patterns yeah?" She smiled nervously unable to shake the feeling that this issue wasn't going to be resolved quickly.

"Anyways," Techna said. "I believe that we should refer to this spy mission with a codename, to make it more official sounding."

"Yes! What a wonderful idea. However, I don't think I can come up with a name haha. What about you Flora? You got anything this was your idea after" Musa said with a silly smirk.

Baffled by being put on the spot Flora said, "Uhmm w-well maybe… Operation Incommunicado?"

"Wow, Flora where did you learn a word like that? What was it in-com-mu.. Municado? Well, I suppose it doesn't matter I support the name!" Stella beamed, while she had no clue what that word even meant it sounded cool so it was good enough in her eyes.

"I didn't know you had a talent for this Flora, I'm kinda liking this other side of you," Musa said as she playfully elbowed a blushing Flora.

The other girls agreed with Flora and decided that the first goal of Operation Incommunicado: figure out Valtor's true intentions!

"Alright, girls I'll say this once so make sure you pay attention alright?" Faragonda said.

Bloom, Techna, and Stella all nodded in unison. Meanwhile, Bloom's eyes slowly drifted toward Valtor who was standing behind Farogonda, but she quickly darted her eyes back towards the headmistress before Valtor noticed Bloom's glare.

"Bloom and Stella will be enrolled in Juban Highschool under the foreign exchange program. Since the attacks have been mostly contained in the Juban district it will be best if you all start there. Bloom you're going to claim to come from America, and Stella you will be coming from France. As for you Techna, we have already rented out an apartment for you to stay at where you can roam Juban district on your own time. Bloom and Stella you two will also stay at the apartment. You girls must figure out what is causing these "phage" attacks and report your findings to us immediately. Do I make myself clear?" Faragonda said.

Bloom wasn't able to pay attention to anything that Faragonda said, hopefully, Stella could fill her in. However, once she glanced at the blonde she realized that she too zoned out. Well, she was sure Tenca heard everything, she was always a good listener.

"Yes, we understand," Techna said as she nodded. "Will we be able to say goodbye to our friends before we leave?"

Visibly annoyed Faragonda asked, "What? You didn't already say bye to them?" She said as she pinched her forehead, she turned to look at Valtor and once he gave her a nod she said, "Very well you may say your final goodbyes to them, but hurry. You all better be back here in 30 minutes."

The trio walked away and Stella whispered, "No way did you see how Faragonda waited for Valtor's approval? Why would the Headmistress need approval from some newbie professor?"

"Yeah, that was pretty strange, also Techna… did you happen to hear anything the headmistress said? I'm afraid that I might have zoned out" Bloom laughed nervously.

"Hmmm, and I assume you zoned out too?" Techna asked Stella. Techna realized that Stella's face was full of guilt. With a playful sigh, she decided to fill in the two scatterbrains as they made their way back to their friends' dorm.

All the girls were starting to get teary-eyed.

"I can't believe the Winx Club is going to be separated!" Stella cried as she hugged everyone.

"Aww cheer up Stella there's no need to be upset, this separation won't be permanent after all!" Despite Musa saying that she too started to sniffle.

"Oh right before we go I have something for everyone," Techna said as she pulled out several bracelets from her pocket. "I can't believe I almost forgot about this but these watches will allow us to communicate with each other through magical and digital means."

"Oh wow Techna these are beautiful," Flora mused as she held a watch resembling a flower.

"Thanks, I decided to work on them right when I realized that we would be split up. Since I already know that everyone will be worrying about each other I was hoping that these devices will be able to quell our worries if we stay in touch!"

"You're amazing Techna how did you even have the time to make these?" Bloom asked she was astonished at the mere craftsmanship of the watches, they were all very beautiful and it was clear each one had its own respective owner. Bloom picked up the fiery orange watch that was shaped like a dragon's head. The center was Bloom's favorite color, a light blue that was present in most of her outfits. Touched by Techna's thoughtfulness Bloom started to cry as well.

"Haha we don't talk about that, I might've pulled an all-nighter. However, Timmy helped me so it's not like I was rushing or anything!"

"So," Aisha said," How do you even use this?"

Techna smiled, "Alright if you want to contact someone using magic you can cast this spell on the watch," She handed everyone a paper with the spell she was referring to, "And all you need to do is mention the person you want to talk to, once you do that the person on the receiving end will get a notification where they have the option of listening or reading the message the other person sent. Now if for some unforeseen reason, the spell doesn't work, you can press this button, and voila," As Techna clicked the button the top of the watch popped up revealing a hologram touchscreen."This part of the watch most relies on technology used on Earth so I'm not sure how well it will work when contacting people in Magix but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to include it" She continued to explain the intricacies of how to use the watch and the rest of the girls gave their undivided attention to their genius friend. However, without realizing how quickly time had gone by the departing trio realized that they only had 5 more minutes to meet back up with Faragonda. With rushed goodbyes and more tears, everyone hugged each other as Stella, Bloom, and Techna hurried on their way.
