Inuyasha

Background:

Born to his father the Great Dog Demon and the human woman Izayoi, he was treated as an outcast by humans and demons for being a half-breed. After his mother passed away, he was tired of being helpless and sought out the Shikon Jewel to turn him into a full yoki. But he began to have a change of heart after befriending and falling in love with the miko Kikyo, where he considered using the jewel to become a full human. After both were manipulated by the hanyou Naraku, Kikyō fired a sacred arrow at Inuyasha, sealing him into a tree.

He would awaken fifty years later when he encountered Kagome, the modern incarnation of Kikyo and the two of them, alongside other friends, worked together to track down the Shikon Jewel's shards and stop Naraku.

Eventually, after the destruction of the Shikon Jewel, he settled down with Kagome, who was now a priestess, and they had a daughter named Moroha.

Song: Spirit of the Demon

In the enigmatic realm that straddled the line between familiarity and unfamiliarity, the half-demon yokai, Inuyasha, clad in red robes and sporting canine ears, walked through the dense forest. In the same area as him was the spirit detective, Yusuke Urameshi, recognizable by his green attire and slicked-back black hair.

As the two traversed the forest, their shoulders accidentally brushed against each other. Inuyasha, known for his generally irritable demeanor, responded with a slightly aggressive gesture. He elbowed the passing Yusuke and warned,

"Watch where you're fucking going."

Yusuke, renowned for his quick temper and short fuse, immediately reacted to Inuyasha's provocation with a punch.

"No, you watch it!"

However, Inuyasha had canine ears, allowing him to anticipate the imminent assault, he swiftly dodged the punch and somersaulted in mid-air, landing gracefully and turning to face the spirit detective. Inuyasha, his demeanor betraying a hint of arrogance, observed,

"Looks like a certain human needs a lesson in manners."

Without delay, he unsheathed his sword, Tessaiga, which initially appeared as a battered katana but swiftly transformed into a fearsome yokai blade resembling a dog fang made of metal once fully revealed. Yusuke's smug smirk widened as he assumed a boxing stance, his taunting words dripping with challenge.

"Who needs manners when you can let your attacks do the talking? Go ahead and teach me a lesson if a dog can teach some tricks."

The spirit detective egged Inuyasha on, eagerly welcoming a fight. Inuyasha's irritation flared, his past experiences of discrimination surfacing once again. With a frustrated yell, he lunged forward, gripping his yokai sword tightly. Caught slightly off guard by Inuyasha's sudden speed, Yusuke reacted quickly, activating a vibrant red aura around himself and expelling a powerful outward force to push the yokai warrior back.

Despite his efforts to break through the aura, Inuyasha was ultimately overpowered and forced back. Not one to easily yield, he used his Tessaiga to halt his retreat, bracing against the powerful push. Undeterred, Inuyasha leaped into the air, brandishing his sword for an overhead cleave and bellowing in determination as he attacked.

Yusuke allowed his aura to subside, ensuring a fair fight in close quarters. Unleashing a powerful shout, he reeled back his clenched fist and unleashed a punch at Tessaiga. Upon impact, Inuyasha's forward momentum was abruptly halted as if the sword had encountered an invisible barrier. The yokai was taken aback, baffled by the ease with which the spirit detective had blocked his blade, which typically sliced through even the hardest of materials.

Yusuke launched a left hook, but Inuyasha dodged the strike by leaping back, quickly retaliating with a slice aimed at the spirit detective's head. However, the attack merely moved Yusuke's head, enabling him to effectively counter and respond with a precise right hook to Inuyasha's face. With a resounding impact, the spirit detective's blow sent the yokai flying backward, crashing into the ground below.

Recovering with a growl, Inuyasha used Tessaiga as a support to regain his footing. Without a moment's pause, he transformed the sword into a crystal blade and shouted,

"Kongōsōha!"

Spears of diamond-hard adamantine were launched with a powerful swing, raining down on Yusuke. Despite his efforts to block, the spirit detective was unable to prevent the barrage from causing cuts to his clothing and drawing blood. Yusuke launched himself into the air, forming a finger gun-like stance, with blue energy materializing on his fingertip. He exclaimed,

"Spirit Shotgun!"

Unleashing a barrage of miniature projectiles at Inuyasha. The yokai, finding himself on the defensive, dodged the incoming onslaught while simultaneously attempting to counterattack. Unfortunately, each time Inuyasha tried to retaliate with his adamantine spears, they shattered upon impact, leaving him no choice but to rely solely on evasion for defense.

When Yusuke's onslaught concluded and he touched down, Inuyasha pounced for yet another overhead cleave. However, this time, the spirit detective managed to knock Tessaiga out of the yokai's grasp, sending the sword twirling away and embedding itself into the ground, resuming its form as a battered katana. Deprived of his weapon, Inuyasha was compelled to rely solely on his fists and claws for hand-to-hand combat. While the spirit detective's punches appeared to carry more power, Inuyasha's speed allowed him to swiftly evade and land numerous fast, yet effective, blows himself.

In a swift attempt, Inuyasha lashed out with his claws, but Yusuke displayed remarkable agility evading the attack, and counterattacked with a powerful punch. Inuyasha recoiled from the impact, but quickly regained control as he backflipped onto a tree, jumping off the tree trunk, he launched a successful claw strike at Yusuke's face this time, pushing the spirit detective back with substantial force.

Though the pain from the injury on his bleeding cheek was undeniable, Yusuke pushed through it, accelerating beyond human perception. Yet, Inuyasha's canine senses allowed him to perceive the spirit detective's movements. The yokai lunged in an attempt to strike, but the maneuver proved futile as Yusuke had already anticipated the attack. With a well-calculated retreat, the spirit detective moved backward just in time, evading the yokai's claws.

"Spirit Gun!"

Yusuke cried out as he pointed his finger at Inuyasha, unleashing a powerful bolt of blue-green energy. The attack overwhelmed the yokai, causing him to cry out in distress as his Fire Rat cloth disintegrated, leaving his chest exposed in all its lean muscularity. In a commanding gesture, Inuyasha shouted,

"Tessaiga, come to me!"

The battered katana immediately flew into his waiting hand, transforming into its formidable fang shape once again. Unleashing a powerful downward strike, Inuyasha yelled,

"Kaze no Kizu!"

A surge of yellow energy emanated from the blade, surging through the ground and forcing the spirit detective to reactively block the onslaught. Inuyasha channeled his concentration, transforming Tessaiga into a sword that appeared to be crafted from the very fabric of outer space. Undeterred, Yusuke continued to fire a barrage of Spirit Guns, but Inuyasha's quick reflexes allowed him to cut through each attack, absorbing them into the sword. Raising Tessaiga high, the yokai exclaimed,

"Meido Zangetsuha!"

With a forceful slash, he unleashed a seething wave of spatial energy that resembled a void filled with stars, galaxies, and nebula, hurtling towards the spirit detective. Yusuke fired a highly concentrated shot of Spirit Gun, but his attack was effortlessly absorbed within the depths of Meido Zangetsuha. Recognizing the potential threat of the approach, he swiftly evaded the path of the void, successfully dodging the destructive force. As the void passed him by, it left a trail of obliterated earth and evaporated trees, clear warning of its devastating power. Sensing the danger, Yusuke made a conscious decision to avoid any future attempts to confront that specific attack again.

Inuyasha, propelled by lightning-fast reflexes, launched himself forward, aiming a swift strike at Yusuke with Tessaiga. Yet, the spirit detective moved with unparalleled agility, nimbly sidestepping out of the way. In a swift counterattack, Yusuke delivered a sharp knee strike directly to Inuyasha's face, followed by an attempt to launch a Spirit Gun attack. However, Inuyasha managed to contort his body just enough, resulting in only a grazing blow. The unleashed Spirit Gun flew astray, impacting a distant mountain and causing a colossal explosion. Inuyasha was utterly awestruck by the sheer power of this foe.

Yusuke landed on the ground with barely a moment to spare before witnessing Inuyasha descending from the sky, Tessaiga poised in his hand. Recognising the imminent threat, Yusuke swiftly gathered his spirit energy into his hands, with his hand now aglow as he fortified himself. Defiantly, he struck out with a powerful punch, aiming to intercept Tessaiga's deadly slash.

The collision of the two forces sent both combatants flying backwards, yet their determination to continue the fight ensured a rapid return to the fray. Inuyasha found himself forcefully launched into a nearby mountain range by the power of Yusuke's punch. Despite the impact, the yokai did not allow it to impede his resolve. He quickly confronted the spirit detective once more. A surge of energy, blue like the sky and red like fire, crackled around them as the entire mountain range quivered from the sheer magnitude of their clash.

Yusuke unleashed a potent kick, smashing Inuyasha across the face and catapulting him backwards into a plateau. As the plateau crumbled around the yokai, the spirit detective declared,

"This ends it! Spirit Gun!" Unleashing his signature move, he began charging his Spirit Gun. However, unexpected yellow energy burst forth from the remnants of the plateau, sending fractured debris flying in every direction. Inuyasha, trapped within the rubble, let out a defiant cry,

"Kaze no Kizu!"

A colossal explosion reverberated through the area, consuming the mountain range and leaving behind a smoky, cratered wasteland. Gripping his fist tightly, Yusuke fixed his gaze upon Inuyasha as he gathered his energy, now infused with a demonic aspect. Tornadoes swarmed around the spirit detective, while bolts of lightning descended from the heavens, adding to the ominous spectacle.

With a surge of demonic energy, Yusuke charged towards Inuyasha, who immediately raised Tessaiga in defence. Undeterred, Yusuke struck at the blade with his dark power, causing the ground behind the yokai to instantly vaporize as the fight continued across the desolate wasteland. Inuyasha responded with a powerful sideways slice aimed at Yusuke, only to witness the spirit detective swiftly flip out of harm's way. The aftermath of the attack left a large fissure in its path.

Yusuke unleashed a relentless barrage of punches at Inuyasha, each blow met with a firm defense by Tessaiga. As the intense battle unfolded, the ground beneath them shattered under the impact of Yusuke's strikes, widening the desolate crater several kilometres across. Inuyasha, although steadfast in his defense, found himself slowly driven back by the formidable might of Yusuke's attacks. Breathing heavily from the strain, the yokai fully understood the insurmountable power he was facing, realizing that he couldn't maintain his defensive stance indefinitely. As the battle reached its climax, Inuyasha declared,

"It's over. Meido Zangetsuha!"

Unleashing a powerful downward swing of Tessaiga, which was now transformed into a blade that mirrored the depths of outer space. Caught off guard, Yusuke found himself unable to evade the attack, and cried out as his physical form and spirit were both ripped asunder, vanishing into the void-like space that loomed overhead. Inuyasha, panting heavily, dropped to one knee, clutching his left shoulder. As the dust settled, the silence of the devastated wasteland hung heavily in the air.

Strength: Honestly, Yusuke was the overall more powerful. Inuyasha is weaker, but still scales to his brother, Sesshomaru, who is strong enough to destroy a meteor that required 1.33 Petatons. Meanwhile, Death Battle established that Yusuke is equal in power to Hiei, who was determined to wield power of 142 Zettatons. This makes Yusuke 100 million times stronger, and could certainly kill Inuyasha if he landed a purposefully lethal attack. He wouldn't even need the sacred energy thing exclusive in the anime because he's so overpowered in raw strength.

Speed: However, landing that attack would be difficult, as Yusuke matching Hiei's speed means he can typically fight at Mach 286, but as Inuyasha measures to Sesshomaru's speed as well as power, he can approach speeds of Mach 4260, making him almost 15X faster than Yusuke.

Skill: Inuyasha has the superior fighting skill, as he has 200 years of swordsmanship, while Yusuke is only 18 years old.

Experience: Timewise aside, both have faced a variable amount of demonic foes, making them even in the kind of foes they face.

Powers: Something that sinches Inuyasha the win is his various sword magic techniques. Sure, he can't redirect Yusuke's power back at him, but he has more than just beam spamming, and with something like the Meido Zangetsuha, an attack that erases things from existence regardless of durability, Inuyasha was more likely to land that blow needed faster than Yusuke can overwhelm him with his planetary power.

The winner is Inuyasha.
