Soifon approached the bullpen with a cheerful expression on her face. It had been three months since she started working for the Intelligence department and three months since she began dating Erin Lindsey.
The issue with Ace and Jack had been going on for almost two and a half months, and she hoped she wouldn't have to deal with them anymore.
Voight assured them that the two troublemakers were now incarcerated and wouldn't be released for a significant period of time, thanks to the efforts of the gray-haired man.
Upon arriving at the bullpen, Soifon made her way to her desk. Erin was already seated at her own desk, engrossed in some research while waiting for a new case to start. "Good morning," Soifon greeted, placing a kiss on Erin's cheek before taking her seat.
"Good morning, Soifon," Erin replied with a smile, looking up from her computer. "Will you be able to accompany me to my appointment in five hours?" she asked.
Soifon smiled as she logged into her computer. "Certainly, I will," she answered, leaning back in her chair once she had signed in.
After a few hours of working, Soifon stood up from her chair and made her way to the break room in order to get herself a cup of coffee. While glancing over her shoulder, she asked Erin, "Would you like some coffee while I'm in the break room?"
Erin looked up and gave a slight nod. "And perhaps something to eat?" she inquired, leaning in her seat. Soifon checked the time by looking at the clock and replied, "I have something better. It is almost lunchtime and you still have two hours before your appointment."
"How about we go out and grab something to eat before heading to your apartment, and then we can relax at the park for a while?" suggested the raven-haired woman, expressing her own hunger as well.
Erin smiled and nodded. "I prefer that idea," she said, standing up from her chair and getting her coat, as it was nearly winter. She also retrieved her keys from her drawer.
Soifon smiled and nodded, grabbing her own coat and draping it over her shoulders. She then turned to Antonio, who was engaged in conversation with Ashley.
"Upon witnessing Ashley throw herself into her boyfriend's arms and engage in a passionate kiss, Soifon couldn't help but release a chuckle. With a smug smirk on her face.
She approached the older couple and playfully remarked, 'It would be appropriate for you two to find a room, as the rest of us don't require a public display of affection.' This teasing comment caused the couple to abruptly cease their kissing, and Antonio, with a mischievous expression, apologized, 'I apologize for that.'
Ashley burst into laughter, replying, 'You're not sorry, Tony.' She then turned to Soifon, teasingly mentioning, 'You're just envious that it isn't you sharing an intimate moment with Erin.' With that, Ashley got up from her boyfriend's lap and pulled him away.
Soifon and Antonio joined in on the laughter, and Antonio redirected his attention to Soifon, asking, 'Is there anything you need, Soi?' She responded with a smirking expression, 'Perhaps I will use that line myself next time.'
All three individuals burst into laughter as Erin approached them. Curiously, the younger brunette inquired, 'What's the source of amusement?' Soifon turned towards her partner and replied, 'It's nothing significant, just poking fun at Tony and Ash for their make-out session in his chair.' This remark earned Soifon a playful glare from Antonio and a smirk from Ashley, who jokingly flicked her off.
Soifon addressed Ashley, stating, 'No, thank you,' while embracing Erin. She continued, 'Erin is the only one I would engage in such activities with.
'Erin responded with a smug grin and asked, 'So, you're willing to kiss me while we're at work?' In response, Soifon could no longer contain her laughter and reciprocated the kiss. As she playfully slapped her partner's behind, she heard Ashley whistle and tease, 'Find a room, Gray.' Ashley's comment echoed Soifon's earlier words, to which Soifon retorted, 'Smart ass.'
Antonio displayed a slight amusement in his eyes as he shook his head at the women. "In any case, is there anything you require?" He inquired once more, prompting Soifon and Erin to turn towards him. "We are off for lunch and will not return until Erin's appointment concludes," she stated with a smile.
"Alright then, I shall see you later," Antonio replied as he departed from the bullpen. He met Ashley outside, who wore a smug expression on her face. "Come on, Tony, it is impolite to keep your companion waiting in the cold," the older brunette taunted as she embraced his arm and guided him towards her vehicle.
"Farewell, both of you. I will see you in a few hours," Antonio uttered in between laughter as he was ushered into the car, with Ashley taking the driver's seat.
Soifon stood beside Erin, and both of them had smiles on their faces. "Those two are quite a handful," Erin playfully whispered, causing Soifon to giggle. "Anyway, let us go and grab a bite to eat."
Soifon firmly grasped Erin's hand and guided her towards her vehicle, taking her place in the driver's seat despite Erin's feeble objections.
With a smile, Soifon playfully urged Erin, saying, 'Come now, it wouldn't cause any harm for you to relinquish the role of the driver just this once.' Erin released a somewhat disgruntled sigh, folding her arms across her chest in a petulant pout, eliciting a hearty laugh from the dark-haired woman.
Igniting the ignition and securing her seatbelt, Soifon observed as Erin sulkily took her place in the passenger seat. 'Do not adopt such an attitude, Erin; you may assume the driving responsibilities next time,' Soifon remarked, lightly tapping Erin's hand.
'Although I understand, I would prefer to drive, as you are aware,' Erin responded irritably. However, a faint smile graced her lips when she noticed Soifon's exasperated expression. 'You are merely a child,' the raven-haired woman playfully teased, nudging Erin gently.
After exchanging jokes and lighthearted banter for a while, Soifon maneuvered their vehicle out of the headquarters parking lot. They then proceeded to a quaint café to acquire take-out before heading to the park, where they could enjoy their meal prior to Erin's scheduled appointment with her physician.
