Erin accompanied Jay and Kelly on their journey to the location, which they reached swiftly. Upon arriving, Jay parked at the deserted gas station where Soifon's car was located.
The brunette bit her lip, feeling concerned as she alighted from the vehicle to check if Soifon was present inside. She hoped for her well-being and called out upon noticing the wide-open driver's door, 'Soifon!?'
Meanwhile, Jay also called out to Soifon while inspecting the car and finding nothing, before picking up Soifon's phone.
Erin approached Jay, who handed her Soifon's phone displaying numerous missed calls from her and Voight, prompting Erin to inquire, 'Where could she have gone?'
Kelly made a discovery as he walked to the car's rear and observed two sets of footprints instead of one, suggesting a possible struggle.
Erin and Jay approached the footprints and observed them intently. 'That could be the reason for her lack of response; someone may have taken her,' Jay remarked as he reached for his phone and dialed Antonio.
'Hello, Tony, we have encountered an issue and require the immediate presence of the entire team,' Jay informed urgently.
'Have you located Soifon?' Antonio inquired concernedly. Jay paused briefly before responding, 'No, please instruct Voight to join us and I will provide a comprehensive explanation upon arrival.'
After ending the call, Jay turned his attention to Erin, who was scanning the area with Kelly nearby. 'Who could have possibly taken Soifon?' Jay inquired as he searched for any clues that could shed light on the situation.
'I know who is responsible,' Erin replied, her tone composed but hinting at the severity of the situation. 'If we do not locate her swiftly, her prospects are grim,' she added with a sense of urgency.
'Stay calm, Erin,' Jay whispered reassuringly as he embraced her, offering his support while she processed the distressing situation.
Erin closed her eyes in an attempt to calm down, expressing her concern, 'But what if she's already dead?' She knew firsthand how cruel Ace could be, recalling Jay's reassurance, 'She won't. We'll get to her in time, I promise.' It was challenging not to worry, considering Ace's past actions.
'Almost killed her once, what's to stop him from doing it now?' Erin questioned, to which Jay firmly responded, 'I promise we'll find her. I promise you my life.' Voight and the others arrived at the scene, and Voight inquired about any findings as he comforted Erin, 'Find anything?'
Erin, now worried, responded while seeking solace in Voight's embrace, 'No, but it looks like Ace got her.' Determined to find her, Voight suggested, 'We'll find her, I promise. Let's return to the district and search for leads.'
Leading Erin to his truck, Voight motioned for her to follow, to which she complied, 'Okay,' as she settled into the passenger seat. Upon arriving back at the district, they began their search for leads.
Erin was focused on her work at her desk when she was interrupted by a familiar voice calling out her name, 'Erin!' She lifted her gaze to see her mother approaching, prompting Erin to ask, 'What do you want, Bunny?'
"Is that an appropriate way to greet your mother?" Bunny inquired as she walked over to Erin's desk, disregarding the distrust from the others. "Excuse me, Bunny, but I do not have time for whatever you are dealing with at the moment," Erin replied, clearly annoyed.
"I have come here to seek your assistance with a matter," Bunny stated, crossing her arms and observing Erin's glare. "I am not sure if I can assist you right now, as Soifon takes priority over everything," Erin replied.
Erin observed Bunny raise an eyebrow quizzically. "And how is that woman relevant to the topic we are discussing?" the older woman inquired. "If you were to ask my opinion, I would not even care about that insignificant woman's well-being."
"Did you just make a disrespectful comment about my girlfriend, Bunny?" Erin's hazel eyes blazed with anger as she rose to her feet and guided Bunny towards the exit. "Soifon is not worthless, and I am currently searching for her as she is my girlfriend," she declared.
Erin was on the verge of instructing Bunny to depart when her mother abruptly pivoted and forcefully pushed her down to the ground, resulting in a whimper of pain as her hand got crushed underneath her. Jay and Antonio promptly assisted Erin in standing back up, casting disapproving glances at Bunny.
Voight swiftly marched toward Bunny and seized her arm, issuing a warning, 'I advise against repeating such actions, Bunny,' while glaring sternly as the woman met his gaze
uttered, 'Oh, Voight.' Bunny demanded to be released by Voight, but he refused, stating firmly, 'No, you are going to be detained.' This declaration widened the woman's eyes, prompting her to challenge, 'And on what grounds? I merely gave Erin a nudge, she will be fine.'
Erin struggled to catch her breath as she rose with the assistance of Jay and Antonio, who pointedly remarked to Bunny, 'Are you aware that she is pregnant? And you didn't just push her, you shoved her.'
"Wait a moment," Bunny inquired, appearing confused as she looked at Erin. "Whom did you have relations with? Was it him or that fireman?" She inquired, prompting Erin to glare in response. "Neither, and that is not your concern. Please leave my presence immediately," Erin firmly stated.
Erin began to feel lightheaded, and she would have collapsed if Jay had not caught her in time. "Erin, are you feeling alright?" Jay questioned as he felt her head against his chest.
"Ruzek, Atwater, escort Fletcher to Trudy and ensure she is detained without release," Voight instructed, passing Bunny over to Ruzek, who acknowledged. "Understood. I will assist Trudy in securing her confinement," Ruzek responded.
Voight then approached Jay and Erin, who had now become unconscious. "Should we transport her for a medical evaluation? The current situation may not be ideal for her condition," Jay proposed.
"Let us proceed with that plan," Voight concurred, allowing Jay to carry Erin to his vehicle for transportation to the hospital. "Ashley, Al, and I will continue the investigation to uncover leads regarding Ace's potential location of Soifon," Antonio declared.
