Leaf woke up before her alarm. She got into a routine where she naturally woke up at six am everyday.

She got up and put on a t-shirt and a skirt with knee shocks and cute pink shoes to go with it.

She went over to her desk and turned on her laptop. She checked her work schedule. It looks like she's training the new guy again… Great. She hated being around him. She thought about calling out, but she never does that. Her attendance is near perfect. She felt too guilty to do so.

Ivysuar walked over to her and shoved his food bowl in her face.

Leaf: "Aww, is someone hungry?"

Charizard: "Char!" (Me too!)

Squirtle: "Squirtle!" (Feed me, woman!)

Leaf: "Ok, ok, let me serve breakfast."

She walked over to her mini fridge and filled their food bowls with yummy wet Pokemon food. They ate to their heart's content.

After the Pokemon ate, she returned them back to their ball. She left her room and went to Lo-Fi cafe. She loved listening to the relaxing chill beats and the place had amazing coffee.

She ordered a matcha mocha latte and a breakfast sandwich. She found an egg chair to sit on that was close to the window. She went on her phone and started eating at the same time. She felt lonely, so she decided to text Red.

Leaf: hey how's work?

Red: morning shifts are a lot

Leaf: We could switch

Red: I thought yu hate morning shifts becaus yu like yur morning routine

Leaf: I do but there's a new guy I have to train and I don't want to

Red: Who's the new guy

Should she tell him it's Ness? She knew that Red doesn't like him because of what Nate did. Which isn't Ness's fault, but she couldn't help but also feel hatred towards him. It's not fair, but every time she sees him, she gets angry. Especially when he tried to convince her to get an abortion.

Ness suddenly shows up while she's shopping for Pokemon food and the first two things he wanted to talk about was the clone drama and getting an abortion. The nerve of that guy! She could feel her blood boil thinking about that day.

Hating Ness is justified. The clone thing isn't his fault, but his personality is shit. He's selfish. He got the same job as her just to spite her. What is he trying to play at? He only wants to get close to convince her to abort the baby. It's because he doesn't want to deal with her. He sees her as a cockroach. Well guess what, Ness? This cockroach is keeping the baby no matter what!

It doesn't matter if she has to raise the child alone. The baby being born will be her biggest treasure even if the kid ends up looking like him. She'll love the child no matter what.

Red: We should switch. I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to be this intense I'm still working on my anger issues

Leaf: It's fine but I don't think I should run away from this

Leaf: Also because seeing or hearing about Ness spikes your anger you might traumatize the pokemon

Texting Red put her in a sour mood. She finished up her meal and went back to the PokePark. She let her Pokemon loose and sat on a bench watching them play.

An Umbreon approached her.

Leaf: "Aww, hello you~"

She pet the Umbreon and it started licking her leg.

Leaf: "Where's your trainer?"

Umbreon: "Umbri?"

Leaf: "Do you have one?"

The Umbreon shook its head.

Leaf: "You don't?"

It shook its head again. That's odd. Every single one of these Pokemon have owners. Lots of spirits have visited the Pokemon world and adopted them. Did this Umbreon get abandoned?

Leaf: "Are you all alone?"

The Umbreon nodded.

Leaf: "Here, why not come to work with me? We can let the daycare know that you're missing."

The Umbreon smiled and started licking her face.

Leaf: "Aww, what a cutie. Ok, my shift is about to start. We should head out now."

Umbreon: "Umbri!"

Leaf called her Pokemon back. They went inside the ball. She and the Umbreon walked over to the daycare.

Receptionist: "Welcome back, Pokemon Trainer Leaf."

Leaf: "Hi. Um…"

She walked over to the receptionist.

Receptionist: "Is something the matter?"

Leaf: "I found this Umbreon in the park. We can't find its owner."

Receptionist: "Oh my! I'll let Professor Oak know. In the meantime, it can stay here in the daycare."

Leaf: "Ok!"

Umbreon: "Umbreon."

Leaf leads the Umbreon to the giant daycare room. It looked around in amazement.

Leaf: "Make yourself at home~"

Umbreon: "Umbri!" (Thank you.)

The Umbreon started running around and playing with the other Pokemon. She hung her backpack up and sent out her own Pokemon to help her watch the others.

The door suddenly slammed open.

Ness: "I'm here!"

She turned around and gave him an annoyed look. He didn't have to make a loud entrance.

Leaf: "Oh, hey…"

Ness: "Sorry, if I'm late."

Leaf: "You're not."

Ness: "I'm late on being early."

Leaf: "What?"

Ness: "What's the agenda for me today?"

Leaf: "Baby department."

Ness: "Again?"

Leaf: "Yup."

Ness walked over to the baby area. A bunch of cat Pokemon went up to him and started rubbing their cheeks on his leg. Looks like he's chosen to be a cat person.

She told him what to do. Basically just play and clean up after them. She went outside and saw that the Umbreon was running around. At least the eeveelution is doing ok. She started watching the bigger Pokemon play making sure a fight didn't break out.

Ness was cleaning up furs and scales. As he was busy doing that, an Azumarill suddenly hopped over and put a toy in front of him.

Azumarill: "Azuu!" (Play!)

He picked up the toy and threw it. The Azumarill happily hopped over to grab it, but the other baby Pokemon started fighting over it. He went over there to break up the fight and ended up being their personal punching bag.

Ness: "LEAF! HELP!"

She couldn't hear him. She was outside. He shouldn't because he's not allowed to use his canon powers, but he used his telekinetic power to lift them up and gently placed them away from him.

The Pokemon gave him a blank stare.

Ness: "You guys need to share. Look, there's lots of other toys around you. Play with those."

The Pokemon looked at each other and then started fighting again. A Slowpoke grabbed the toy and was running towards him. However, a Cleffa jumped up in the air and body slammed the poor Slowpoke.

The Cleffa grabbed the toy and marched his way over to Ness. The psychic stared at the buff pink fairy type. Hey, wait, why is it ripped?

Cleffa: "CLEFFA!"

Why is its voice so deep?!

The Cleffa gave Ness an angry look and threw the toy at him.

Ness: "Hey! Not nice."

Cleffa: "CLEFFA!" (PLAY WITH ME, BITCH!)

He had no idea what the Cleffa was saying, but it didn't sound nice.

Ness: "I want you to apologize to that Slowpoke, then we can play."

Cleffa: "CLEF!" (FUCK NO!)

Ness: "C'mon, give him an apology."

Slowpoke: "Sloww…"

Ness: "See, he's sad. You made him sad. You can make him happy again by giving him the toy and saying you're sorry."

The Cleffa walked over to Ness and punched him in the stomach. The punch actually hurt! What the fuck!

Cleffa: "CLEFFA!"

Ness coughed and kneeled on the ground.

The Cleffa picked Ness up and threw him across the room. He crashed on a bunch of cardboard boxes for the cat Pokemon. He laid there for a second, shocked. Did that fucking Cleffa chuck him like he was nothing? He knew he didn't weigh that much but damn.

Cleffa: "CLEFFA!"

The Cleffa was slowly walking toward him with a terrifying aura. He got up and braced himself. It's just a Cleffa. He can take him. He beat a mega Charizard! This little guy is nothing.

The Cleffa jumped at him. Ness grabbed the Cleffa. He made sure not to squeeze because he didn't want to hurt the guy. However, it transformed into a green dinosaur plush.

The Cleffa was behind and drop kicked him. He fell on the floor and landed face first. The pink buff monster then started jumping on him over and over again.

Ness was about to do something, but a whistle was blown. He cringed and covered his ears.

Cleffa: "CLE…FFA…"

Leaf: "Todd! Enough!"

Ness: "T-Todd?"

Leaf walked over to the two and gave Todd the stare. The Cleffa frowned and hopped off of Ness.

Ness: "Thanks."

He got up and dusted himself off.

Leaf: "Todd, don't pick on the new guy."

Todd: "CLEFFA…"

Ness: "I'm sorry, the Cleffa has a name?"

Leaf: "Yeah, that's Todd with two d's."

Ness: "Is he special or something? None of the others have a name."

Leaf: "They all have names."

Ness: "They do?"

Leaf: "Yeah. This little angel is named Todd."

Ness: "ANGEL? Did you see what he did to me?"

Leaf: "He likes to play rough. Especially to the newcomers."

Ness: "Play rough? He was beating me up!"

Leaf: *Snickers*

Ness: "What's so funny?"

Leaf: "You beat my mega Charizard, but here you are struggling with a Cleffa?"

Ness: "I didn't want to hurt it. I was holding myself back."

Leaf: "Todd can take punches. In fact, he's still trying to find a formidable foe to spare with."

Ness: "Formidable foe?"

Leaf: "Todd is a little stronger than the average Cleffa."

Ness: "Yeah no shit!"

Leaf: "Language."

Ness: "S-sorry."

Cleffa: "CLEFFA!"

Ness: "What did he say?"

Leaf: "I don't know. Humans can't understand Pokemon speech."

Ness: "Oh."

Leaf: "Anyway, I'm gonna go back outside."

Ness: "Wait!"

Leaf: "You're fine."

Ness: "Well, I was wondering if you could keep me company and make sure I'm doing things right."

Leaf: "You're fine."

Ness: "Ok, then maybe we could just watch them together and talk about Pokemon?"

Leaf: "No."

With that, she went back outside. She still wants nothing to do with him. Well, at least they kind of had a conversation. It's slowly getting better. Very slowly. But hey, better than nothing.

Pichu: "Pichu!" (I'm hungry!)

Ness: "Oh hey, you."

Pichu: "Piiiich!" (Feed me now!)

Ness: "You want to play? I'll play but give me a second. Todd over there roughed me up."

Pichu: "Pichu!" (That's it!)

The Pichu used thundershock on him. He screamed in pain. Leaf heard him from outside and thought to herself how pathetic he is.

Leaf: (What an idiot. He's not going to last.)

Meanwhile in Onett

The Clone

Nate and Ness's sister Tracy were chatting it up in the living room while playing a Sonic game.

Tracy: "School has been awful."

Nate: "Why's that?"

Tracy: "Ugh, so like Jacob has a crush on me but I'm not feelin' him."

Nate: "What's wrong with Jacob?"

Tracy: "He's just… I don't know, kind of ugly."

Nate: "Damn."

Tracy: "Yeah, there are cuter high school boys in my school. Why can't they crush on me instead?"

Nate: "Ask the other boys out."

Tracy: "No! The guy is supposed to do that."

Nate: "What if they're shy?"

Tracy: "Then they're not a real man."

Nate: "Tracy… That's not nice."

Tracy: "What! It's true. It's the man's job."

Nate: "That's a big yikes."

Nate: "Men have feelings too ya know."

Nate: "You'll attract him plus you'll be getting exercise. It's a win-win."

Nate: "If you want something, ya gotta go big."

Tracy: "I like that. Ness would tell me to be cautious and study the guy."

Nate: "Study the guy? What a freak."

Tracy: "He really is. I mean, I never told him about my crushes because he would freak out."

Nate: "Probably because he doesn't want you to get hurt. But I think it's better if you learn from experience."

Tracy: "You're so wise~"

Nate: "Yup! Wise Nate at your service." *Winks*

Tracy: "I'll apply tomorrow when I go to school. Thanks for your advice."

Nate: "For sure. Anyway, I gotta head to work."

Tracy: "Ok, I'll beat the game by the time you get back."

Nate went upstairs and changed to his uniform. He looked in the mirror and put the hat on. He frowned. He hated wearing a hat because it made him look more like Ness.

He went downstairs and left the house. He went to work. He was greeted with Trey and another guy.

Trey: "Sup, Nate."

Nate: "Hey!"

?: "Wassup, the name's Ben."

Nate: "Ayye, what's up? I'm Nate."

Trey: "Ben goes to high school. He only works on the weekends. That's why you haven't seen him."

Ben: "Yup. Almost about to graduate. One more year."

Trey: "Goin' to college after this?"

Ben: "Nah, I can't afford that shit."

The three of them started making pizza and chatted.

Trey: "Aye, Nate, wanna play some B-ball after work?"

Nate: "Hell yeah!"

Ben: "Ayye what about me?"

Trey: "Uh… You're a minor."

Ben: "So?"

Trey: "I dunno, it's a little weird."

Ben: "I'm about to turn eighteen soon! You're barely two years older than me."

Trey: "That's true… Yeah, ok."

Ben: "Yes!"

The manager Kimberly walked to the back.

Kimberly: "Are you boys goofing around?"

Trey: "N-no."

Ben: "No, Ma'am."

Nate: "We're just chattin'."

Kimberly: "Nate, I need up in service."

Nate: "What! But I don't know service."

Kimberly: "That's what I'm here for. I'm going to train you~"

Trey: "Damn."

Ben: "Lucky…"

Trey: "Lucky?"

Nate gave his friends an upset look. They both gave him a look back. It was obvious that he didn't go up there.

Trey: ["Good luck, bro."]

Nate: ["Thanks…"]

He walked up to front counter. Kimberly went behind him and slammed her hands down on the counter. He jumped a little. His mind was going wild. Damn, his boss is kinda hot.

She leaned in close to his ear and started giving him directions. She taught him how to handle money and use the touch screen.

Nate: "This all looks complicated."

Kimberly: "You'll get the hang of it. You just need to get familiar with the menu."

Nate: "Ok, I guess I'll stand here and study it then."

Kimberly: "I can help you learn quicker."

Nate: "Oh, ok!"

Kimberly: "I'll pretend to be a customer."

Nate: "I'm a little nervous."

Kimberly: "Don't be nervous. It's your first time, so I'll go slow~"

Nate: "Ok."

Kimberly left behind the counter. She went to the front of the cashier and smiled at him.

Nate: "Hi! What can I get for ya?"

Kimberly: "I would like a spicy pepperoni pizza with sausages added."

Nate looked at the screen. It took him a little bit but he found the correct selection.

Nate: "Great choice. Anything else?"

Kimberly: "I would like a drink with that."

Nate: "Ok! A drink. What else?"

Kimberly: "That would all."

Nate: "Alright, your total is $22.59."

Kimberly: "Bravo, Nate. You've done it."

Nate: "Thanks! I guess it wasn't so bad."

She walked over to Nate and went behind him again. She rubbed his shoulders. He went from feeling great to anxious.

Kimberly: "Well done. You learn quick~"

Nate: "T-thanks."

Ding-ga-ling

A customer walks in. She lifted her hands from his shoulder and stepped back.

Kimberly: ["You got this~"] *Whispers in Nate's ear*

Nate: *Gulps*

The customer walked to the front.

Nate: "Hi! How are ya tonight?"

Customer: "Doin' *burp* well. How about yourself?"

Nate: "I'm doing great. What would ya like to order?"

Customer: "A supreme pizza."

Nate: "Alright! Um…"

He struggled to find the correct one on the screen.

Customer: "Can I also get a drink with that?"

Nate: "Y-yes, hold on."

Customer: "Oh also cheese bites."

Nate: "Um, of course one moment."

Customer: "Oooh! I need some honey packets with my pizza. It's to die for. Have you tried dippin' pizza on honey?"

Nate: "Uh… I…"

Nate was still struggling to find the pizza the customer wanted. He was feeling overwhelmed. He looked over to Kimberly, who had a blank stare. He couldn't read her. Is she disappointed?

Customer: "Have you?"

Nate: "Wait, huh?"

Customer: "I said have you tried dippin' honey with your pizza?"

Nate: "N-no."

Customer: "Well you should. It's delicious."

Nate: "Will do."

Customer: "Anyway, what's the total? I need to get outta here. I'm driving all night tonight and I need to hurry up and get to my next destination."

Nate: "Uh…"

He's overwhelmed. What would Ness do? He would most likely panic. But he's a problem solver. What goes on in his panicked mind? The dude would say something he truly meant. He would be honest and not sugarcoat a thing.

Nate: "I'm sorry, I'm still new. I haven't found your first order."

Customer: "Are you serious! C'mon dude, I gotta go."

Nate: "S-sorry, please be patient with me."

Customer: *Let's out a frustrated sigh*

Customer stopped talking, so Nate was able to focus more. He found the pizza and pressed it.

Nate: "Sorry, you said you also wanted a drink with honey packets, right?"

Customer: "Yes." *Taps his foot impatiently*

Nate: "Alright, your total comes out to $33.15."

Customer: "Finally."

Nate: "Sorry. Thanks for being patient with me."

The customer paid. Nate handed him a cup. He went to the drinking station and poured his drink. Next he sat down in a booth and waited for his food.

Kimberly: "Well done."

Nate: "I'm sorry. I was slow."

Kimberly: "Don't worry with enough practice, you'll get faster."

Nate: "Thanks."

Kimberly: "You handled the customer well. Sometimes they'll stay fussy, but you didn't let that stop you from working."

Nate: "It was hard. I wanted to leave."

Kimberly: "But you didn't. You did good."

Nate: "Thank you."

Kimberly: "I love your bubbly nature and how you present yourself in front of customers. I know you'll become my service ace."

Nate: "You think?"

Kimberly: "Oh I know~"

Nate: "So, will this be my everyday from now on?"

Kimberly: "Yes! Isn't this exciting~"

Nate: "Oh…"

Kimberly: "You no longer have to get your pretty hands dirty."

Nate: (Pretty hands?) "Um, but I don't mind."

Kimberly: "Oh don't worry. You'll learn to love it here and I'll keep you company."

It's not that he didn't like her, it's just that he was having a good time talking with his friends in the kitchen. Also, being around her made him feel… Weird. She's hot and all, but she gave off this uncomfortable vibe. Before he would be all about it, but right now he's trying to be good. With her around, he might start flirting out of habit. He has to convince her that he can't do service. Being around her is playing a dangerous game.
